Yeah, so apparently my class ring is going to cost like twice as much as previously thought. Two of my aunts and my grandmother planned on paying for the $180 dollar ring, which I chose. But after adding in all the cool stuff the company added on just short of an extra $200 dollars. I wish they put that on the order form. D:< Anyway, I'm in charge of coming up with the rest of the money that goes toward it. I did some calculating and I should be able cover it if I get a job. So now I have more of a reason to get to the K-mart by my mom's apartment and apply for the holiday help. I might even start doing commissions, once I figure out how to do that over the internet. At least getting an after school job will get me out of the house.
So this is one small step into adulthood for me. Oh goody...

In other news I've been busy and stuff, writing my comic, drawing it, drawing another comic with my friends. I'm kinda ticked at them right now though, they finally came up with a plot for the first arch and they left my character out. D:< They said that's she's not a main character, last time I checked I thought she was since she interacts with a lot of the main characters. VP and I were told that we needed to find another teacher to help supervise since our advisor can only look after 30 students, and the club has nearly 40 now. We talked about this with MEG(Master of Electronic Gaming) and figured we'd hunt down our old English teacher from last year to see if he wanted to help. Lucky us he came into the library as we finished setting up the gaming corner. He said that he'd be glad to help us out, depending on the date it was held. This weekend is going to be busy, tomorrow I'm going to see Dracula at my school, and Sunday I'm going to Chicago with my AP Art Studio class for National Portfolio Day at the Art Institute. IT's going to be fun since I'm going with my friends. I'm just bringing a few sketchbooks. I'm focusing on illustrations and cartoons for animation and stuff like that. I'm going to be so tired on Sunday. Let's hope I don't get sick at the last minute.

Then it was decades day and I dressed up as a greaser with my friends. Last was Blue and White day(since it was a shortened week due to Labor day) I wore my blue shirt with my baggy black pants, safety pinning the red bandanna I tied to my leg on it. I couldn't find my white bandanna so I had my sister paint a giant X across my face. I'm graduating in 2010 and in Roman numerals it's XXX (I think), the X has been my class' symbol since Freshman year. My locker was even marked with one. Anyway, Seniors won the Spirit stick, but our football team got slaughtered 6-60. I wasn't at the game, I went to a pool party. The dance was last night. I went wearing the dress my mom made me, we were a half hour late because she took forever to get the hem done. I had a good time, dancing(?) with my friends. I hated the music though, it was mostly rap. I danced with 3 of my guy friends, two of them during a slow dance. I guess they thought I was lonely, being surrounded by couples. I was so exhausted when I got home that I didn't even shower and I went straight to bed. But I showered this morning, so it's all good.

In other news Cartooning club chose their officers for this year, I was running for Secretary. I only got five votes, losing by a landslide to my opponent who had the position last year. My speech sucked though, but my sis embarrassed the crap out of me when she walked behind me waving her pompoms as I went up to give it. It's Ok though, that I lost, it gives me a chance to go for the Staff artist position instead. I just need to organize a portfolio with 10 of my best works. I cleared it off and wiped it down this afternoon, I also replaced the bulb in the lamp that hangs over head. So now I can draw without having to move my stuff id I don't want to. Which is awesome cause for most my life I've never had a space to just sit down and draw/write.

Bleh, not a big fan of constant heat and earthquakes, plus there's very slim chances of getting recruited IMO. Plus I think being an animator sounds like fun, plus you don't have to do the animating you could be a character designer (which I love to do). I spent 2 hours looking through her comics all for little elements that I need for it to look decent IMO. I'm not complaining I her comic. After finally getting what I needed and drawing the simple parts, I drew the couch (still kinda working on that) and started on Nikki. I got her pose set up for the most part but her hands. Gah! I was about to chuck my pencil into the wall. My stepmom suggested I take a break, which I did, and then I tackled this site with a search for hands. Was pretty successful, I'll hopefully finish the paper version of the art tomorrow and scan it into my computer when I return to my mom's (I am not looking forward to that what so freakin' ever) that's if she doesn't take my computer away. Anyway, I can't draw hands or furniture for s**t right now. I also have a ton of sketches to get done for AP Art studio. Oh! And this weekend I have an opportunity to go to my dad's high school. I sat with some of my friends at our table located by the speakers and dancefloor. I had the beef meal. We had a lot of fun dancing and singing to the songs. I sat out for all the slow dances. Oh! I got a free prom T-shirt [my school makes T-shirts for all the major dances], the DJ's were tossing them out and I got one barely. I dropped it at first and had to swoop down get it back before the guy behind me got it. At midnight prom ended and 350 out of 500 headed home on the buses while me and the rest of us stayed behind for the post-prom party. Which was awesome for the most part. It was at the water park in the hotel, which was lame IMO [I've been spoiled from living up in WI by the Dells Kalahari]. I splashed around a bit and got a Pina Colata smoothie drink thingy and changed into my street clothes. After that I hit the arcade with the $10 card that I got. I won enough tickets to get lame prizes; a dinosaur head thing, super ball, lame friendship ring, and-the best of them- 3 glow in the dark lizards. But some how everybody else seemed to be able to get lava lamps. >:U I was tired by then and I fell asleep in the lobby for about 20 minutes before overhearing some people saying that we'd be leaving soon so I went to get my stuff and dress and headed back for the lobby. While we were waiting my friend Alyssa, who was really tired, began muttering about martians and aliens which is not normal for her. I was the one bitching about why we weren't on the bus yet and crap. Well we got on the buses and I fell asleep only to wake up when we were passing by the elementary school that was like 5 minutes away from the high school. We pulled into the circle drive in front and got off. Then I noticed that the sun was rising! And it was freezing outside. My mom picked me up with in a few minutes and I got home at 5:30 am. And here's a hint on how small my town is, nobody was out when I was heading home. I'm used to cars going 24/7 because of wear I grew up. Anyway, prom was awesome and I slept all mother's day. But mom was Ok with that.

I hope to have a style some day that sticks out from the rest, instead of blending in with the rest of it.

Anyway I have Mythology with 3 of my buds which is awesome. At first I was upset because I didn't get the teacher I wanted but then I saw my buds, two of them I met through my art classes and another through Cartooning club and Algebra. So we all sit together and chat. I'm actually really getting into the mythology and I'm considering reading more during my free time to allude to in my comic. I also have Graphics class for an art class this semester. I get to make a bunch of stuff and I'm looking forward to making a few T-shirts. My other classes are US History(hate because it's a required class) and Environmental Science(<3). One of my other friends pointed out that I only need 2 science classes to graduate, but I love science. Next year I plan on taking Astrology and hope to get one of my favorite teachers.

So it being summer I've been able to watch them. First I decided to watch an episode of The Office and didn't find it one bit funny or entertaining, I think it's a show with a cast of several dead end actors. Then this past weekend my dad purchased Monty Python and Holy Grail (he's a fan of theirs) and my sister and I watched it. We said it wasn't funny, just Ok. Though I didn't care for Holy Grail, I love watching their skits which I think are funny. My dad says that British humor is different and it's a love it or leave it kinda thing.

Basically Masako is from a large, secret city that has it's own league and contest system. In this city you need the minimum of 5 badges to go the Pokemon League and if you make it through that you go up against the Elite Four. This city also has all Pokemon habitats.

Oh I might add some of my Fakemon into the story. So be aware of that. And it's based on an RP a bunch of friends and I have, so things might change a bit here and there.
