Member States, peacekeepers, and affiliates are encouraged to include the UNdA account link in their signature, but this is not required. Also, members are encouraged to include the UNdA icon in their journal entry, but this is not required.

Everyone should seriously consider joining UNdA so that as many nationalities, races, cultures, beliefs, etc. can be represented as possible. The UNdA does not want to leave anyone out. In addition, the UNdA will never reject a membership request as long as that person or group does not believe in or represent hate, racism, war, etc. in the judgment of the UNdA.

C'mon people, submit art to the UNdA! Your submissions need to be UN, nationality, or peace themed. If we can get a steady inflow of submissions, then perhaps a contest will be considered. Also, the more submissions we have out there, the more likely people are to stumble across us through your art, and the larger our audience grows to share our art with. So it's very beneficial to submit art to the UNdA.

Also, we need more members. I want to purchase a ad. campaign for the Organization, but you know what would be cheaper and more effective? Word of mouth! Go out there and spread the word about the UNdA and world peace. Let deviantART know we're here! Maybe someday, everyone on dA will be a peacekeeper. Who knows? It's up to you. Remember, it's your deviantART.

The UNdA is back up and running, I think. Sorry for the delays. I've decided to get another subscription. Also, I have decided to change our ID since there are too many member states now and they all change their avatars too much so it's hard to keep up and update it all the time. In addition, everyone is now a peacekeeper in the UNdA; I thought it was unfair to put a few people above everyone else because it created a sense of classes.

In modern times, peacekeeping operations have evolved into many different functions, including diplomatic relations with other countries, international bodies of justice (such as the International Criminal Court), and eliminating problems such as landmines that can lead to new incidents of fighting.

The UN peacekeepers have distinctive bright blue colored helmets or berets, and are often colloquially referred to as the blue helmets. They remain members of the respective armed forces, i.e. peacekeepers do not constitute an independent or sovereign "army of the United Nations". The UN doesn't keep an independent armed force or government.

Basically, the UNdA peacekeepers are all the individual deviants (non-groups) who WATCH the UNdA. Each nation that is a member state and affiliate of the Organization is encouraged to recruit their members for the UNdA peacekeeping forces. All member state/affiliate enlistees and deviants who want to join the UNdA peacekeeping forces must +deviantWATCH the UNdA. Then they will be added to our +deviantWATCH list and also the UNdA peackeepers list in this journal. All volunteers and their help will be greatly appreciated if needed, but is it not mandatory to participate.
