I think I missed my own one year anniversary! FFFFFFFFFFFFFF. March 3rd. Goddamn. Just shows much I'm on the ball!

But yes, I've been ON THIS ACCOUNT for a year - I joined dA in September '05 with a different account but this account has done way better because I knew what I was doing.
So, I have about 12,200 pageviews and 191 watchers. That's not bad is it?! xD I don't really care about that, because pageviews and watchers don't make you a good artist, but I'm glad I'm getting noticed just a little (:

Because I am a naughty woman watching movies on the internet illegally, I watched the new animated Resident Evil movie today - finished literally just then. OMFG. Leon <33 It was so damn awesome O: Not enough zombies and monsters though XD The animation was weird - I mean, realistic, but they still looked sort of...cartoony? Not that that matters, animation was brill either way O:

Leon was badass. and ridiculously hot. But come on, wouldn't beautiful shiny feathery hair like that get in the way of his line of sight?! I mean, he can't shoot zombies if his wonderful hair is falling over his eyes wtffff. xD Can't wait for it to come out on DVD in December ;D For some reason, I liked Frederick. A lot. Expect art/shit.

I came SO CLOSE to buying an Xbox 360 today in town, only to realise I'd left my wallet at home *dies* But I've been told the prices will go down in January thanks to this recession lol XD

I'm at a loss as to what to do now - I have a request pic to finish off, but don't wanna take on any more at the moment, not that anyone wants to request anything from me |D I've got chapter two of my novel to start, so I'll probably go do that now. I went up to see my Grandma on Sunday and have just got back today - it was really nice to see her, and she was as perky as she had been last time we saw her, strange considering she actually lost her speech just before we visited. But she was as happy as Larry (whoever he is, I'd like to compare his happiness to mine one day) and I saw my cousins and we watched Star Wars and we played Half Life 2.

Speaking of, I'm so addicted to HL2 it's hilarious and I must draw it - plus some SW art because how can I call meself a fan if I hardly doodle it? ;-; I might abandon the internet to go and play more of it lololololol.

I don't know how everyone else feels about dA life and real life, and I don't know whether I should even be telling you this; but I feel compelled to talk to someone, even if it's only this journal entry.

To cut a long story short, my Grandma is dying, and I found out about half an hour ago. My parents and even Grandma herself knew it, even when we were on holiday at her house (mentioned previously.) They didn't want to tell us. I had no idea and it came as such a shock. She had lost the use of one leg, yes, but she was pottering about the house with a smile on her face.

She is the last of my four grandparents I'd expect to go first. And unfortunately, she is the youngest and the best of them too, unfair as that sounds. I've never lost anyone before in my life, and have never attended a funeral. I don't quite know what to think, but all I know is I can't bear to look at or even think about the photos of her we have around the house. I can't see the letters on the keyboard anymore, so I'll stop.

I don't know whether this sort of whining is accepted here, I suppose plenty of people couldn't care less. But I do. So I may disappear, we might even have to go up there and see her, though she'll have changed. If I do disappear, you know why, but it's not forever, it's until I get over how cruel life is.

I expect a lot of you have lost loved ones, and now I know how you feel.

Tragedy has hand-picked me today. My mum crying is one of the most heart-wrenching things I've ever seen.

Have a really nice weekend for me.

Basically, I'm not going to be posting it on dA because it will certainly clutter up my galleries, so the only TGP related art here will be refs, character art, location art, creature art, mindless non-canon doodles, you know, that sort of rubbish.

Soon after my Grandma gets out of hospital, my Dad goes in! What is with my family's health this past month?
I'm not worried about him, he's only got appendicitis, which can be severe if not treated, by these yokel Doctors appear to know what they're doing, though there's a risk of extracting the organ with a hoe or sickle rather than proper instruments... xD

AND because of this, we've had to cancel our little week holiday, which is good in a way because if I went I'd have no internets access, whereas here I get it plenty >D So I *was* going to disappear for a week, but now I'm not!

My Dad's parents are coming over tonight, and they are fussiest pair you can imagine D< So I'll hide here on the computer.

I'm hoping to start up character profiles for TGP (my comic) so if anyone wants to contribute a character (I have only the one so far, roughly know what I want though) just tell me ^______^ I am going to plan this for as long as necessary so I don't get it wrong.
