I just finished 385/3 Days and man was it a downer ending. Roxas left the organisation and will never remember a large part of the reason why. Hearing him say at the end that summer vacation ends in seven days is sad when you know what happens to him in a week.
The part where Sora wakes up feels bittersweet to me now. On the one hand Sora is finally awake with his memories resotred and re-united with Donald and Goofy ready to go and kick some Heartless ass. On the other he has no idea of the tragic events that lead up to this moment and most likely never will

As for where I stand on the issue of Xion I personally liked her. I didn't think I would at first but she grew on me as I kept playing the game. I'm not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers here, I know some people hate her and I'm not trying to change their minds. I'm just voicing my opinon.

I only wish I had my PS2 with me now so I could play Kingdom Hearts 2, the end of Roxas' story and the (currently) final part of Sora's. Damn my PS3 for not being backward compatible!

Now all I can do is wait for Birth by Sleep. I don't own a PSP and I can't say whether or not I'll have one by the time the game eventually comes out but the fact is that I'm intrigued by what I know of it so far. I'm especially curious to find out why Ven is identical to Roxas and what's the connection between Master Xehanort and Terra...

Ever since my Admin course at college ended two years ago I’ve been driving myself demented worrying that I should have a job by now. My father’s an architect my mother’s a head teacher (principal) and my older sister is a lawyer. I don’t want to feel like I’m letting the side down, even though I know none of them think that.

I haven’t found a job yet but I have found the next best thing. On Monday afternoons I am visited by Did, a Personal Assistant I hired way back in January, who told me about a volunteer center he and some of his friends have made use of in the past. Sure enough I went down there yesterday looking for a job as an admin assistant in a building that’s wheelchair accessible.

I found a place to go. I’m going for an interview tomorrow afternoon. If all goes well I’ll gain experience of working in an office environment and it’lll hopefully give me the confidence I need to start drawing and submitting again.

I actually prefer paying for commissions to simpy asking people for requests because I know that the artist in question is getting something out of it as well as me.

I probably won't be asking for as many after this due to the value of the pound dropping significantly next to the euro and the dollar in recent months.

Harmony and Charity

Here's a little background on my Sailor Moon OCs Charity and Harmony - the twin daughters of Chibi-usa and Helios. I'm really glad so many people liked my idea

Harmony and Charity are twin princesses of Crystal Tokyo, the daughters of Chibi-usa, now Queen Serenity II, and High Priest Helios of Elysian. The twins each wear their hair in a single odango as opposed to the usual two as a symbol of their bond as twins as well as a way to tell them apart as Harmony and Charity are otherwise identical, especially when they wear their royal dresses!

Chibi-usa’s royal title is Neo Queen Serenity II but her closest friends and her family are still allowed to call her Usa.

Royal tradition dictates that every firstborn female in each generation will be named Serenity and will inherit the silver crystal when she comes of age. However, the birth of twins was an unprecedented event. Usa and Helios were afraid that if they did indeed name one of their children Serenity it would cause the other child to feel left out and useless, leading to jealousy, perhaps even hatred. Usa couldn’t bear the thought of her babies growing up as enemies just because of a name. She refused to name either child Serenity, instead going against tradition by naming the twins Harmony and Charity.

I was originally planning to make the twins hair white but once I colored the original picture in I decided that their hair needed to stand out more from their white dresses. I decided to make their hair brown instead. I'm aware that neither Helios nor Chibi-usa has brown hair or purple eyes but Chibi-usa doesn't have the same eye or hair color as her mother or father either so I guess that's OK

As there were so many of us that morning everyone left in my group was sitting scattered arond the room but I got to learn a few names and tomorrow I'm thinking of asking some of them to come have a drink with me if I can.

I don't update my journal often and I write about myself, I guess I lack confidence and convinced myself there was nothing to tell, but I was so happy this day went well that I had to share it! I've been living a sheltered life up until now, knowing nobody in this city and being rather nervous but now I've taken steps to change all that by taking up AAT and looking into contacting an organisation set up especilly for disabled people like me.

I'm not saying it will happen overnight but this could signify he beginning of the end of my loneliness!

I'm goig to leave the backstory on Harmony and Charity here for future reference and because I'm just a little proud of my Sailor Moon OCs.

I'll go into details once all the unpacking is finished.

It was a fairly uneventful week in Spain. My family and I spent it in Llafranc, a coastal resort that we’ve visited every year for the past two years. Uncharacteristically for Spain the weather was awful for almost the entire trip. It was mainly just overcast but at night I could sometimes her the wind whistling through the trees outside and the rain rattling against the windows of our hotel. I went there with my parents, my older sister Hannah and my grandmother. Nanny has only been abroad a handful of times in her life and we wanted to give her a treat. Fortunately the foul weather only lasted until Thursday at which point it cleared right up and we enjoyed two days of lounging on the beach bathed in glorious sunshine! Well most of us did, Hannah had to fly back to London the day before because of her job. I hope she doesn’t get too upset when I tell her about the weather we had in her absence.

Speaking of jobs, I’ve been accepted for a new course at City of Bristol College. The course is called AAT fast track and is focused around mathematics and accounting, both things that I’m fairly confident about. It’s called fast track because the course is so fast paced, in fact it’s expected for students to attain the first two skill levels in jut one year. It sound tough but I think I’m up to he challenge, especially when students with the kind of skills the course teaches are apparently highly sought after in the job market! I start in the middle of September.

There were five of us in our party when I went to New York – myself, my parents, my older sister Hannah and Stuart, an old friend from my old hometown. Hannah’s birthday is on the 19th of April - three days after mine – and Stuart had never been abroad before, let alone to somewhere as vast as New York city. It’s quite the contrast form our home village of Wirksworth, let me tell you!

We arrived at JFK airport on Tuesday evening at around 9.00 pm, New York time. From there took a taxi to the Best Western Hospitality House on 49th street, which was less of a hotel and more of an apartment complex for rent which would be our home for the following six days.

On the morning of my birthday on Wednesday the 16th the five of us had our breakfast in Raffles, a deli situated not far from the hotel where the waitress presented me with a complimentary birthday muffin, covered with chocolate chips and with a little candle on top. It was absolutely delicious!

That afternoon we went up the Empire State building. I have to say I loved being in Manhattan amongst the skyscrapers and other tall buildings, it’s quite the contrast from England where you’d be hard pressed to find a building that was over four or five stories but in New York almost every building seems to touch the sky, which makes viewing it all from the top of the Empire State building all the better. I felt like I was on top of the world!

Here’s a photo of me on my 21at birthday, having my first legal drink in the United States! In this photo my family and I are in the Paramount, a hotel just a stone’s throw away from Times Square. I stayed in Paramount the first time I came to New York five years ago. We were initially hoping we could stay there again this time around but sadly that was impossible due to the refurbishment taking place in half of the rooms. Luckily the bar and lounge areas were still open.

This year is the first christmas I'll mbe spending at my family's new cottage in rural Devon. We recently had broadband here meaning I can finally get online here.

She was my favourite character in the last game and I'm looking forward to playing as her again on the Wii. Plus her new dress is gorgeous!

Sonic

I for one m glad that the rumours of him being in the game proved to be true. I'll be able to live my childhood dream and pit Mario and Sonic against each other in a fight to the death!

I'm also looking forward to being able to take snapshots during battles. Europe never seems to get this kind of option, it's always taken out. Let's hope it stays in this time.

Best of all I only need basic computer skills to attend the course. don't get me wrong, my admin course is going well too but CAD will open a lot of doors for me, I could apply the skills I learn to a lot of jobs like architecture and engineering.

I still need to complete the course entry form and hand it in but things are starting to look up!

Also, I'm wondering if I ask pepole for too many pictures of my character Christine. The first time I do an art trade or ask for a request from anyone I always ask them to draw a picture of her. I haven't drawn her myself for a while so is it really OK for me to ask for other people's pictures of her?

I'd also like to apologse to Jenny > The art trade I promised will habve to wait until I get over my artist's block. Sorry Jenny-chan, I'll try to have it done as soon as possible.
