Well, I've had another busy month, with promoting Conner, and fitting in reviewing stories and going to see relatives in between!

First off, Conner is now available from Amazon (all but .de), as well as lulu, and my own website- [link] . Also, if you buy it from my website, I can sign it with whatever you would like, so you can do that if you would like something personal. It will be available in stores, but for another month or so.
I'm going to be doing a contest involving it at the end of May as well, so keep your eyes peeled! i've had a few reviews now, (all good so far, phew!)I've also got an advert for it lined up, which should be on Youtube within the next few days.

Okay, now I've got my shamelessly promoting bit out the way, here's some other stuff:

I've been reading quite a few stories from two of my wonderful friends on Storywrite.com, one of my favourite websites. One of them is Lady Pixie, and the other is Disposable. Here are some links to their amazing stories, which I absolutely love, much haven't had much time to look at lately.

I've also been to see A Haunting In Connecticut. This is my review of it; go and see it. Now. Now!

It really is one of the best films I've seen for about three years. It is (supposedly) based on a true story. Really, it doesn't matter whether it is or not with this film, it is a purely great film. The acting is great, the directing excellent, and the jumpy moments both amazing and plentiful! The storyline also had a lump in my throat at several parts, as well as really hooking me into the story. This is a really well-crafted ghost film, and I would recommend everyone sees it. I haven't seen any ghost film this good recently since The Orphanage, which had jumpy moments, but was alot sweeter in the end. This had just as many of those moments, if not more, but the ending is very different. Also, go and see it on the big screen if you can, as it is SO much better with all the spooky parts. :)

And it is definately better than the Watchmen film. I went to see that with my bf, conrad, as we both had really high expectations for it, but...it just wasn't as good as hoped. Although it seemed to have everything you would expect, it just didn't quite allow the emotions to commit to the screen from the page. Also, it seriously has one of the year's most horrendous, cringy sex scenes I've ever seen in a film....it was worse than watching your grandparents doing the horizontal tango....Although I loved Rorschach, possibly the best character in the whole film. :)

What else did I do this month.....hmmm. I went to see my grandparents, which was really lovely as I haven't been able to see them for about a year! :( It was great seeing them again, and I also love going to where they live, as it is in the country. Both my bf and I are very much country folk "an' don' like living in th' city much!" *country accent not included* So it was nice to go back and see hills and forests and fields and such. :)

Yeah...so that's pretty much it for now. :p Hope everyone is good and had a good March as well. :D

See, I've been unavoidably busy over the last year, and I've been on and off here. The final straw on here was someone who kept pestering me for free sketches every day, even when I said I couldn't. (I'm not naming names, but you know who you are, and unfortunately you are still one of my watchers.)

So...I'm going to be on here more, but not all the time, as I'm currently working on finishing up my first novel, Conner, which is going to be fully published in May!!!! So, if anyone is interested in a copy, that would be really cool :p

Anyhoo, I'm not looking for sympathy, this is just to explain why I might have been a bit AWOL over the last week, and I'm still going to be busy, but I'll try and be on here as much as possible.

Also, to anyone in Newcastle who crafts (Helen, you know I'm looking at you!), I'm thinking of having a stall at Gainger Market Arts and Crafts fair, it's every second Saturday of the month, except at Christmas when it's every Saturday until Christmas, and it's £20 for the table for the day. Oooh! In happier news, we finally got a PS3! My boyfriends mum gave it to him for his birthday (which was on Friday), so that's going to be fun....*drools at the thought of the already pre-ordered Soul Caliber 4*......I'm such a geek! :P

Can't think of much else now, but this is the longest journal entry I think I've wrote! Maybe I'll write something more cheerful later.....maybe......

I also feel depressed because we're owned money by our electricity company that hasn't come yet (they overcharged us by £700 (about $1400 USD) ), and it's raining, and I'm sleepy, and our flat is horrible......yeah, so if anyone can cheer me up today, please try!

Also, I'm still going to lower some of the prices on my prints, but only two people noted me! (bunch of cheapskates that you are!-I'm just kidding, don't worry! :lmao: ) So please let me know, or if like, I can buy it much cheaper with my artists discount, you pay me through paypal, and I'll send it to your address.....like a commission, but ready made....:)

13/05/2008-Well, this is just more of a little note really, I have quite a lot of chapters of a novel I'm (trying) to write, on a seperate website called storywrite, I was wondering if I should put them on here as well....what d'ya think?

In case anyone was wondering what it was mainly aobut, it is the story between a young psychologist called Erin, and a guy called Connor who believes he is a werewolf.....well, there's a lot more to it than that, but I can't tell you all of it! ;)
