Been in a good mood lately. Writings been slow, but at least it's been good. Working on the (new) first chapter of HoL: The Legendary Five, which at one point was exclusive to the HoL website. This special edition is DOUBLE the length of the old 1st chapter and is better written in my opinion.

I've seen people describe this book as "confusing" and "All over the place". People complain that it doesn't make sense, or that they can't follow it. I'll admit, if you don't follow DC than it can be quite confusing at times. You may ask yourself, why should I care? From the first issue the reader has been pummeled with obscure characters and weird concepts. What's the point in reading if you don't know who Anthro and Kamandi are? Why pay any attention to the 4th World at all? I mean come on, they're nothing but old stories with no real conclusion.

Morrison will make you care.

In my eyes this book has reinvented the entire super hero genre. For the past 20 years pretty much every super hero has gone through tragedy and heartbreak. All for the sake of "realism" we shit on the lives of these fictional people. In this issue Morrison asks "Why can't we have a happy ending for once?" The way I see it, the character Nix Uotan is Grant Morrison. He sees super heroes and he sees hope. Mandrakk, to me, is pretty much the Alan Moore/Frank Miller. Mandrakk creates disaster for every fictional earth in order to feed his own dark desires. He takes a silly villain from the 70s, Ultraman, and twists him into a dark monstrosity.

Superman's wish for a happy ending to this story is what hit me the most. If you think about it, isn't that what everyone wants? What's more realistic than that? I can't imagine anyone would ever wish for more inane drama to fill their lives.

I guess that's the real story behind this book. Everyone expected some great changes to the status quo. A bittersweet ending that'll push DC stories for the next year or so. What they got was an actual ending. A closing chapter to this crazy universe. Now, you might ask yourself, where to next? If the book closed, then how can we possibly continue writing?

The answer? Start a new one. Comics are a serial medium. Final Crisis gives every single writer working for DC a fresh start in a way that no other Crisis could. Morrison was able to deliver a satisfying ending while also leaving enough plot threads dangling for other writers to grab. Then again, this is exactly what Morrison did in his X-Men run...

I hope you all enjoyed this review. I didn't want to end it in a cynical fashion like that. Seems kind of weird in a review that uses hope as the main theme. Then again, balancing the two feelings is true realism to me.

Oh! Almost forgot, Feb 10 is HoL's 4th anniversary! It's kind of a big deal for me.

Thunderbolts #127 - They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but this may be the exception. From front to back the art is gorgeous. The writing is equally as good. Really suspenseful, and a little sad. A

Deadpool #5 - Honestly, the new DP series has been kinda hit-or-miss with me. Sure it's funny and action-packed, but it just doesn't feel like Deadpool. C+

Avengers: The Initiative #19 - Wall-to-wall action and crazy cameos. The end really hits hard though, especially if you've been reading Initiative for a while. B-

The Mighty Avengers #20 - This issue feels like it should be heartbreaking... but I just don't feel it. The writing's great, so's the art, but I just never really cared that much about Jan. Clint telling Osborn to fuck off was cool though. C+

Robin #181 - Really, really crazy. This whole book is underrated. Really evolving a classic character for the better. Steph is still the Scrappy though. B

X-Factor #38 - I really want to like this book, I really do. The writing is solid, but the art... Ugh, it's near unreadable. I HATE the way the dude draws faces. D+

Amazing Spider-Man #581 - We finally find out why Harry is alive! And it actually makes sense! These past few issues of Spidey have been great, I hope the trend continues. B

Invincible Iron Man #8 - First official Dark Reign book! The book's all about Tony doing what he does best, being an asshole. I was really afraid he'd be driven to the bottle again, so seeing him out-bastard Norman is very relieving. B+

Age of the Sentry #4 - Love retro art and satire? Love stories that are just plain fun? Buy this book. B+

Supergirl #36 - Laugh all you want, but it's a fun and interesting book. Plus it's a New Krypton tie-in. Kind of depressing though. Asks a few new questions, but doesn't answer anything. C+

What If...? Newer Fantastic Four - Buh... Wha? Wolverine outsmarts Thanos and Mephisto? Must be seen to be believed. B+

Dark Reign: New Nation - Just a collection of short preview chapters for new DR books. Skippable, not even gonna bother rating.

John Constantine: Hellblazer #250 - Super Christmas special! I really can't think of anything bad about this book. Where else are you going to find short stories by Dave Gibbons and Peter Milligan in the same book? All writers involved have a perfect grasp of the characters and the artists capture them perfectly. What else do I have to say? A+

DCUniverse Holiday Special - Cute is really the only way to describe this book. Full of heartwarming holiday cheer. Really, all I should have to say is Secret Origin of Santa Claus. The Blue Beetle story was my favourite though. A

Thor: God-Size - Pure, epic win. If you love Thor like I love Thor, then you'll love this. It's so bad ass I feel like I should've paid more for it. I should just send Matt Fraction some money and be like "Dude, thanks for the bad ass comic.". I'm sure he's appreciate it. A+

So... How about that Corpse War? How's everyone liking it so far? I started working on #4 immediately afterwards, so it hopefully shouldn't take as long. There are also some tie-ins coming soon, one of which is actually complete!*

One tie-in I'm excited to write shall be titled "All that Shimmers..." which relates to Trillian DeLuc. Why the title? Well, I've finally decided what her theme song is: Shimmer by Fuel. Hope you're all looking forward to more of my writing.

The Mighty Avengers #15- This week's MA ties into Secret Invasion, explaining how Pym got replaced by a Skrull. I don't understand why everyone hates Pym. Everyone brings up that he hit his wife (the superpowered Paris Hilton) once, but ignore the fact that Spider-man has hit MJ about 50 times. I think this issue shows off perfectly why Pym is an interesting character. B

The New Avengers #42- Another SI tie-in! This one deals with everyone's favourite triple agent Spider-Woman! It explains just when she was replaced and why. It's funny, I didn't give a damn about Jessica before I started reading NA, but now she's one of my favourite characters. This issue shows the Skrull Queen impersonating Drew as almost a completly different character, and it's a cool one. B+

Uncanny X-Men- This issue isn't all that great. Sure, you get Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Wolverine fighting Omega Red; but it ends with a drop on the head. Also, Cyclops and Emma fighting hippy versions of Angel, Iceman, and Warpath? Seriously. Gets points for Mastermind being the villain though. C+

Wolverine: First Class #4- The second part to the cute High Evolutionary story. It's just that though. Nothing really outstanding here. C

Green Lantern #32- Bad Ass. Seriously. I love the look back on Hal's early career and the rise and fall of Sinestro. I love that even though he's still a good guy, he's still and asshole. B+

Secret Invasion: Runaways & Young Avengers #1- I loved the story, the art... not so much. Don't get me wrong, I like manga-esque art, it just seems inappropriate here. I actually had kind of a hard time telling Victor and Xavin apart. Also, the entire YA team looks twelve. Ghost Rider skrull at the end as really cool though. B-

Runaways #30- Not much to say here. The time-travel story is over, and everyone is changed. I love any dialog written by Joss Whedon, but this all seemed kinda rushed. Extra points for Chase's return to awesomeness. B-

Thunderbolts #121- Honestly, anything I say about this would not do it any justice. Buy it. Right now. Seriously, why are you not reading it at this moment? A+

Thor: Reign of Blood- It's Thor. Do I really need to say any more? A

Stephen Colbert's Tek Jansen #1- Oh my god this is a thing a beauty. Why must Colbert be so awesome? Another must buy. A+

Marvel Comics Presents #10- A great collection of short stories. I especially loved the Deadpool and Machine Man stories. Not very important to anything going on in the MU, but fun none the less. B+

Final Crisis #2- This... This my friends is the book I shall show all DC haters from now on. To hate this would make you an inhuman monster. Sure, I was a bit pissed at first that they killed a few of my favourite characters, but damn was it fun. A+

So I held back. I even missed posting on my birthday. I'm in a good mood now though, which should hopefully end the delays on CW3. Which is about 1/3 done.

I've felt like reviewing stuff too, so I decided to review some comics. I only got three books last week (Secret Invasion: Fantastic Four, Incredible Hercules, and Batman & The Outsiders) so I won't go in depth in their reviews. Next week is a big haul so I'll take extra care of those.

SI: FF- Pretty cool, but makes the next issue seem to predictable. Best part was Val yelling "Yay Iron Man". B

IH- Very, very awesome. One of Marvel's best books at the moment. The ending was shocking and awesome. Best part was Herc calling Cho a nerd though. A

B&TO- Not bad, but the other current Batman book blow it out of the water. Best part was Green Arrow being told to "man up". C+

I wouldn't mind seeing some fanart or fanfics though! As a matter of fact, I'd love to see some. What I really want to see though is people telling me their thoughts on HoL.

On various forums I go to I always love seeing people talk about a book/tv show/movie/comic and discussing what's going on in the plot, speculate what's gonna happen, etc. I've always wanted to see people do that with something I write.

P.s. Mass Effect is one of the coolest games I've played in a long time.

Basically what I'm trying to do is apologize. To my friends who I haven't been able to hang out with, to my depressed friends who I haven't tried to help, and to anyone I've ignored.

I want to start improving my life. I want to be more social, eat better, excersise, go back to school, find a better job, and I want to finally be able to finish a project.

So as I work on these things I might be appearing online less then usual, which isn't much to begin with. I will still be updating whenever I can because I love writing. I don't care if no one ever comments, I'll keep writing. Even if I had no internet, I'll still fill up my harddrive. Even if I have no computer, I'd still write on paper. I think you catch my drift.

In other news, I met Chris Jericho today! No pictures because my brother's phone died before he got to the podium.

The line was long, people traveled for hours, I had a five minute drive. I was planning on asking him who he believes has the best gimmick nowadays or when we are getting saved by Bobby Lashley. I kind of froze when I finally got there.

I was wearing my Ozzfest shirt and he asked me about the show. I told him it was amazing and when he asked which band I liked most I told him it was Lordi, behind Ozzy. He laughed and told me about playing with Lordi in England and how cool they are in person.

I told him that I saw Tommy Dreamer at Ozzfest. I went as close as I could get to the stage and tried to start an ECW chant. All I got were people looking at me like I was crazy. He got a laugh out of that.

After he signed my book and was trying to move me along to get to the other people, I asked him if he could add ARMBAR to the signature. He rolled his eyes and chuckled. Instead he gave me hold #725, the Finnish Armbar!

It was the greatest day of my life.

Idea #1: The Killer

This story is seen through the eyes of a serial killer. I know it's been done before, but this is a little different. It's told in a first person narrative and all you see and hear are what the killer sees and hears.

This killer is a horrible person. Just plain evil. However, I don't want him to be the bad ass kind of evil usually seen nowadays. I want the reader to downright hate him along with me for thinking up such an awful character. He will have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. The reader will experience each murder in excruciating detail. The protagonist will laugh as he watches the news and reads the papers. I want the reader to root for the antagonists, the police. I want them to get frustrated and angry when they miss crucial evidence or get the wrong answer when the right one is right in front of them. I want hatemail when they get to the end and realize that he has gotten away with it.

I love this idea and I think it would sell well. It could even be made into a decent movie. What do you guys think, be as honest as possible. If it's been done before, tell me. I want to hear the good and the bad. Fire away!

I just finished watching the Beast Wars episode "Code of Honor". It is probably the greatest episode of anything ever.

I've been feeling very inspired to write lately. I'm working on a new chapter of GoH as I type this. I also plan on finishing the HoL: Corpse Wars prologue soon. I'm also in the planning stages for the return of The Shadow Knight!

I'm hoping to make at least one update a week again for as long as I can. Work's been really rough and I don't get a lot of days off so I have to take every opportunity to write.

I'm also hoping I can update this journal more often. Eventually I want to pitch story ideas and ask for opinions on various things. Until then, see ya!

You all should know by now that I'm a wrestling fan. I've been a fan for years, as long as I can remember. Over the years I've had a few favourites; The Undertaker, Steve Austin, Kane, Owen Hart, Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio, Raven, etc. The list goes on and on. However one man stayed near the top of my favourites list for years. That man was Chris Benoit.

When I first heard that Chris had died, I thought it was a sick joke. My brother does that sometimes, so I laughed it off. Then I turned on RAW. I almost cried. I haven't been that affected by a wrestler's death since Owen Hart. I spent the rest of the day watching some of his best matches on the RAW tribute show.

The next day I was still affected, but I managed to carry on. When I got home from work I did what I always do, go on the internet. While checking the dirtsheets (wrestling spoiler sites) I saw it. Not only was his death a suicide, but he had also taken the life of his wife and youngest child. My heart sank, kind of like it's doing now as I remember.

As new details emerge, I begged for them to be wrong. I wanted them to find new evidence. Something to redeem him. Then came the steroid accusations. I hated those the most, especially Fox News. That scum did nothing but make wrestling out to be a murderer's home. Thank the gods for Chris Jericho. I gained a whole new respect for that man during his interviews with the media.

What really got me was when someone blamed Vince McMahon for the murders. Vince is a lot of things, but he would never cause something like this. It's too bad for business. Vince handled himself very well in the interviews. He did an awesome job of making himself look sane compared to the bitch interviewing him.

Then the conspiracy theories came in. I hated them, mostly because I wish they were true. I want to believe that it was really just Kevin Sullivan getting revenge or that Nancy was the real killer. I don't want to accept that a guy i looked up to for so long could be a monster.

There are some people who refuse to watch his matches or even hear his name. That's bullshit. If you were a fan before, you should still be a fan now. He is an amazing performer and deserves to have his kayfabe legacy go untarnished.

Say what you want about the man, but if you could enjoy his matches before hand, then you still can. I still enjoy Steve Austin matches, even though he's a wife-beater. Undertaker's a douche backstage, RVD smokes pot, Jake Roberts has done every drug imaginable, New Jack is fucking crazy, and JBL is a republican. Despite all this I can still enjoy their matches.

As a matter of fact, I think I will watch Benoit vs. Jericho in Japan right now.

First up, I graduated High School. I feel so fucking good about it, I'm not even sure how to describe it. It just feels good.

Next is the reason I haven't been able to do much lately, I got a job. I am a Dietary Aide at Tallwoods Care Center. Basically I'm a waiter/busboy for old people, who doesn't get tipped. It's a tough job, but there are a whole lot worse things I could be doing.

I used a combination of my first paycheck and the money I got from graduating to buy myself a laptop! The thing I like most about it is that it comes with Linux pre-installed. I was thinking of getting a Mac, but I couldn't find one under $1000.

I also bought Mick Foley's new book Hardcore Diaries. I haven't read much yet, but it's good so far.

I'm hoping to update a bit more frequently. My laptop will probably help in that department.

I started off pissed. I was excited at first when I saw that the Hero and Villain packs were available for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. However when I downloaded it, it ruined my co-op file! I didn't notice at first, things seemed fine except for the fact that Black Panther (the character my brother played as) was replaced by Venom! Then I discovered that a few more characters I unlocked had gone missing (Dr. Strange, Blade, etc) but for some reason Ghost Rider was still there. Then I discovered that all the new costumes we unlocked were gone also! We had to start over which, suffice to say, was irritating.

Later I finished reading the last of the Marvel Civil War tie-ins. It's a pretty awesome story. The ending was a bit anti-climatic, but still pretty cool. The highlight for me was Hercules vs. robo-Thor in Civil War#7. The Young Avengers/Runaways crossover rocked. I also loved the Frontline series, especially the parts featuring Speedball.

Finally, I got to thinking about writing about my own universe of super heroes. I have quite a few ideas, including the Mutant Society story I posted a while back.

I am very, very disappointed in today's episode of Heroes. It had so much potential. It could of been amazing. But no. They had to rip off a central plot point from one of the greatest pieces of literature of all time.

The main problem is that if I were to go deeper into why this disappointed me, I'd be spoiling the greatest comic ever made. Even saying it's name may give something away.

I know for a fact that it wasn't a coincidence. Jeph Loeb, co-creator of Heroes, is an influential comic book writer. I know for a fact that he has read the comic I'm referencing to at least once, since he was inspired by it when writing parts of Marvel's Civil War.

I'll keep watching Heroes, but I've lost a lot of respect for it. I'm hoping that next week's episode can change what I feel about it. Even though next week's episode seems to be ripping off X-Men a bit more than usual.

I had to get some wisdom teeth taken out. Anesthesia is fun. Apparently I kept calling my doctor Dr. House and when I got home I tried looking for my guitar, convinced that I could play like Hendrix.

When I was told that I would be put on Vicodin I was apparently scared that Vince McMahon would fire me. I also ranted about Sabu and RVD.

The moral of this story is that drugs are fun and that everyone should use them.


I will hopefully use my time off school to make some sort of update. Also, if I wait another month to post a journal I shall give anyone who knows me irl permission to hit me.

I should have the next chapter of GoH up this weekend. I also want to write one of the HoL Chronicles I talked about in a previous journal before Christmas. Here are some of the ideas I was thinking for that:

HoL Chronicles: Soldier of the Gods; The story of the Elf Paladin Jherys and how he became what he is today. It will deal with his childhood, time in the Asorcaian army, his marriage, relationships with his family members, and will end near the beginning of the HoL story The Legendary Five.

HoL Chronicles: The Demon of Amnis Village; The story of what happened to the Dark Elf Vein after he was released from his prison. He is mistaken for a murderous demon and is forced to attack villagers to defend himself. It's not until he meets up with an old rival that the true demon is found.

HoL Chronicles: Family Secrets; Leon, of the Auge family of assassins, is hurt after his attempt to take over Haven and the military is after him. His sister Janis takes him to a tropical island off the coast of Valtameri so they can regroup. They soon find out that the island is run by the a family very similar to theirs. Things get more complicated when the young prince of the clan falls in love with Janis.

HoL Chronicles: The Mystery of Tarodia; The Elves of Tarodia seem like the exact opposite of the Asorcaian Elves. In Tarodia they are polite, tolerant, and cheerful; but things are not always as they seem. There is a mysterious building on the outskirts of the city that no one acknowledges. One young Elf risks everything to rescue his young sister from the horrible things happening in that building, even resorting to the help of outsiders.

HoL Chronicles: All in a Day's Work; Fredrich Fortis is a young up and coming Alchemist looking to hit it big. He tries to deal with being the son of an extremly famous Warrior and keeping patients alive, all while searching for the holy grail of Alchemy, immortality.

I seem to have acquired some writers block when it comes to GoH. I spent a half hour yesterday staring at the unfinished chapter 8 in my writing notebook and nothing seemed to happen in my head. The worst part is that I was inspired to write so many other stories.

My mind drifted to Mutant Society. I posted a prologue to it a while ago and I kind of want to work on it. I've come up with a ton of characters for it, some that I'm really proud of.

I also had an odd idea about the HoL universe. I had intended it to end with Tjaden's Story (I posted the first chapter long ago), but I think I can do more with it. I had an idea that I like to call Heroes of Legend: Rebirth. It takes place over 500 years into HoL's future. About present for us. It revolves around two friends who are students in the Fortis School. I school for those who wish to learn a variety of skills from swordsmanship to magic. While doing some traveling, one of them accidentally opens a magic gate. A gate to hell. One soul manages to escape hell before they can close it and it possesses the boy. He believes he can control it at first, but soon it controls him. His friend only has one option to save the possessed boy, and that is to give his body to the soul of a dead hero.

There is also an idea I had called HoL Chronicles. It's a series of one-shot stories that focus on the past adventures of many HoL characters and some future adventures. One idea deals with a character named Vein, and how he is treated like a monster after a spell mutated him into a Drow. Another deals with a character named Jocken, and how he became known as a famous DragonSlayer.

Halloween is a big event in my town. We actually dedicate TWO days to it! Yesterday was the day when all the kids trick-or-treated and today is all the parties. We also have the largest Halloween parade in the country! There are also very little people against the holiday, so no one's ruining the fun!

Tommorrow is the start of NaNoWriMo. I've already decided what I'm going to write. A complete re-write of the first half of The Shadow! It's new name is The Shadow Knight and I'm hoping to make it good enough to be published sometime. I'm going to also try and work on GoH (The next one is about 80% done). I also have a secret project that I hope to have finished enough to give a preview of when GoH is over. It's so secret that only one other person knows about it, and we'll never tell! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

They're both really cool guys. Mark Sceurman was intrigued by my last name, I always knew it was strange. Although for some reason he thought I was from Bayville (I'm from Beachwood).

Also, Barns & Nobles is the worst place to go if you have no money. In one small section I saw at least eight amazing books that I wanted to buy. The Crow, JTHM, Rise and Fall of ECW, countless comics, etc. I really hope I get a call back soon from Rite Aid (Store I applied for work at).

Plus there's only about 6 weeks left until the Wii is released! I am totally not ready for that. It is comforting to know that I can get the console, an extra controller and about three games for less than the cost of a PS3 though.

I start my senior year of High School in about 24 hours. It feels kind of weird. I'm almost done. After this it's "the real world". It's exciting.

I've been doing to much procrastination lately. With my writing, my RPG, and everything else. This year will be different. I won't miss any homework. I will get better grades. I will not neglect HoL. I will not miss any deadlines. I also plan on getting higher grades than ~freakgamer and ~FunnyReaper in vocs again. That's a challenge to you two.

A little note about music real quick. The Dan Band fucking rocks! They do covers of songs that are mainly sung by woman. My favourite of theirs is their cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart. That and their cover of Lady were in the movie Old School. Give them a download, you won't be disappointed.

Also, GWAR's new CD Beyond Hell is beyond compare. It's one of the only CDs that I actually want to buy. GWAR needs our support.

Thanks to everyone who commented on my last journal. I'm feeling like my old self again. I hope to get back to work on the various things I've been working on very soon.

I started playing City of Villains again. I finally got a character past level 10, which means I can make a SuperGroup! If anyone's interested just make a character on the Justice server and messege Kemmerich. I'm thinking of calling it Lunar's Shadows.

I've also started playing Age of Empires 3. I'm usually not a huge strategy fan, but this game has me hooked. I love starting with nothing and building up into a ruthless empire. One of my favourite parts is the Sea battles. Especially in campaign mode when you blow up some pirates with the Scottish navy.

SomethingAwful.com released their weekly video game article today. For those of you who don't know, SomethingAwful parodies videogame news once a week. They also have a section called "One Sentence Reviews" which reviews games in one sentence. They had the funniest review I ever read:

He was a fucking drunk, deadbeat, jackass but I'm still sad for him. I don't understand. He's not even dead yet, just very close. It just blows my mind that I, being the heartless jerk I am, can feel bad about someone who deserved what he got.

I haven't been this depressed in years. I might take a break from the internet and life for a while. Freebird just started on Winamp, Skynyrd is the ultimate cure to everything.

Something weird happened to me recently. Lately my brother has been addicted to Bit torrent, which is all fine and good. He usually deletes movies after he is done watching them to save hard drive space so he doesn't cause problems. But recently he downloaded something that intrigued me. It was the first season of Fushigi Yugi.

Fushigi Yugi was one of the very first Manga/Anime series that I got into. It's been years since I've seen it and I had completely forgotten about it. Just looking at the file name brought back all sorts of memories of Anime I had loved years ago but had forgotten about. Sorcerer Hunters, Ranma 1/2, Tenchi Muyo, and a lot more. I remembered bringing a Ranma graphic novel to school and thinking I was so cool because no one else in the school knew what it was. It makes me feel weird. I've never had that much nostalgia blast at me all at once.

In other news, I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I liked it, but I should have a full review soon.

I had the greatest 4th of July ever yesterday! It's a long story why, but I'll sum it up the best I can.

Early in the day, the whole group of people at my house were lighting off fireworks. Nothing big, just a couple of bottle rockets and an occasional mortar. We weren't the only ones doing it, as a matter of fact, nearly the whole block was lighting them. Eventually some prick that looked like Johnny Fairplay ([link]) came down to our house and complained. He said that one of our bottle rockets broke a branch and it fell on his car. Obviously we found that hilarious, but this guy was mad. My dad explained that nothing we've shot off is strong enough to do that. He was still angry, but backed off.

A few hours later, around 10pm, this guy came back. He's saying that we launched one onto his roof. Before coming to our house, he stopped by our neighbor's home and asked about us. She said not to fuck with us, or he's gonna get killed. Dumb piece of shit did it anyway. He cursed off my dad, and flipped him off. He threatened him, than started to walk away. My dad's friend then yells "You better start running, or you're fucking dead!". This guy turned around to see my dad running straight for him.

My dad is a big guy. He's about 6ft, 6in. He has tattoos covering his arms and on his neck. He has a beard, long hair and wore a bandanna. He's got a stereotypical biker look. He would look pretty intimidating if you didn't know him. The douche that tried to be tough looked like he just shit his pants.

Unfortunately my dad couldn't catch him. We all laughed as that moron ran right down the street. A few minutes later the police came. I'm pretty sure that the dumbass expected my dad to be arrested, but he was wrong, very wrong. It turns out that the cop that came by used to work for my dad before I was born. They were really good friends and he completely understood what happened.

We went on with our party while that guy will probably be scared to death for the rest of the week.

We found out today that the guy was a tourist who rented a house on our block for the week. That proves he's the biggest moron in the world. Who the hell would want to go to New Jersey on vacation?

Hey there! Been a while since I wrote on of these, and unfortunately it'll probably be a while before I can make another one. I have a couple of family members visiting from Colorado and my mom is getting into a "OMFG EVERYONE GET READY" attitude about every last thing. She's even repainting most of the house! I'll probably have less time on the computer once they get here, so I'll get as much work done as possible while I can. The only problem is that I have a couple of new distractions...

Comics! I've always liked American comics, but for some reason I've become obsessed lately! I've been reading X-Men, Sin City, the official City of Heroes comic, and my new personal favourite Deadpool.

Deadpool is the single greatest super hero ever. His back story isn't as interesting as other Marvel heroes, but his current story is amazing. I recommend reading his current story Cable & Deadpool. It features the 'merc with a mouth' teaming with the X-Men's Cyclopes' future son Cable. More info on Deadpool can be found here: [link]

If I can peel myself away from comics long enough I should be able to finish the third chapter of Guild of Heroes soon. I also want to do a teaser for a new series I've been planning. There are also a ton of pictures I've been wanting to draw.

Now that school's over with, I can finally get back to work!

I finally saw X-Men 3 today. I found it mediocre at best. There were just too many anachronisms than I could handle. I could understand a few to make the movie more interesting, but come on!

SPOILER WARNING! If you read past this, it's your own damn fault.




My first beef is with Jean's power at such a young age. When she was a teenager in the comics she could barely pick up anything heavier than herself.

Then there's the fact that they blame the Prof. for the Phoenix Force. It's actually an alien god that possessed Ms. Grey.

And another little thing. They fucked up so many nationalities of quite a few characters. Colossus wasn't even Russian! Pyro wasn't Australian! Callisto wasn't white! Psylocke wasn't British! The Juggernaut wasn't American! Marrow wasn't a woman!

The Juggernaut's deliverance of the now famous "I'm the Juggernaut, Bitch!" line was pretty weak. It was like a jock imitating Napoleon Dynamite.

A majority of the new "Brotherhood of Evil Mutants" (I hate calling them that) looked like bondage film rejects. Were their comic costume's that bad? Cain wasn't even wearing red! They call them the Crimson Bands for a reason!

Nobody really reacted that badly when Cyclops died. Which I guess is understandable, because the movie version of the character was really lame and boring.

So many powers were given to the wrong mutant. Callisto is NOT Quicksilver! Kid Omega is NOT Quill! Psylocke is NOT the Shadow! They altered Leech quite a bit, but at least he is sort of similar to his comic counterpart.

And finally, the ending. The ending to the comic Dark Phoenix saga is considered by many to be one of the greatest moments in comic book history. In the comics Jean becomes Dark Phoenix after Mastermind tampered with her memories. At the end of the long saga the Earth was in danger of being blown up by some aliens trying to kill Phoenix. Phoenix is able to break the illusions in her mind and sacrifice herself at the last minute to save the galaxy. But in the movie Wolverine has to finish her off while saying some out of character lines.

There were some cool parts to the movie, but the bad outweighed the good. See it if you'd like but I'm thankful I didn't spend money on this bomb.

Even though ONS rocked, I didn't think as highly about ECW on the Sci-fi channel. It seemed to much like TNA. Mostly because of the very short amount of time they're given. I was hoping that they would end the whole WWE vs. ECW feud after ONS, but I guess that's too much to ask for. I was really looking forward to ECW becoming independent, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon.

Believe it or not, I'm working on something for ~freakgamer's contest. I should have it done by tonight.

Yes, I am back! Okay, I've been back for a day now, but I had to get re-organized. That and I was given a few days worth of City of Villains for free due to their new expansion pack.

I'll start updating again soon, most likely when school's over though. Only a few more days left! Luckily, I only have to take three exams this year.

Any wrestiling fans reading this must watch ECW: One Night Stand this saturday. I will be there with ~KazenoSylva and his brother. I'm bringing along my mom's nifty camera and I'll try and post some pictures. I'm hoping to get one of a bloody John Cena

Speaking of ECW, last night was one of the most amzing pieces of wrestling I've ever seen! That Rey Mysterio vs. Rob Van Dam match was like watching Rock Lee fight Nightcrawler! I'll let you decide who's who, heh heh heh. Two things pissed me off though. In the Jazz vs. Mickie James match, Jazz was dominating the entire time but gets pinned after one attack from Mickie! Also, I'm positive I saw Nova in the locker room scene, yet he did not fight at all! Nova is very under-appreciated.

I've got a rant prepared for why I don't want to see X-men 3, but will probably end up seeing it anyway, that I'll put up eventually.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have done the unthinkable. I have cut my hair. You heard me right. I cut off about 10in. and donated it to a charity that uses people's hair to make wigs for cancer patients. It's pretty shocking to look at too.

I also found out that I'm going to Florida this July to look at colleges. Also to relax a little ^_^. My dad actually wants us to move down there, since he was offered to take over his uncle's business. I can't wait to flip off this fucking state as I'm leaving. Of course I'll still return to see some friends and laugh at the failures I knew in High School.

The Death Note movie is released soon. Does anyone know how long it'll take for a subtitled copy to make it's way to the internets?

Wow, E3 was exciting. I'm still cleaning the drool from all those times I watched the Super Smash Bros. Brawl trailer. Speaking of SSB, vote for what character you want to see in the game here: [link]

I voted for Sonic, but it was a hard choice. So many people deserve to be in that game. Geno and Mallow from SMRPG would rock so much. So would any Castlevania character. There's also Bomberman and quite a few worthy Pokemon.

I also hope there's a plane level, so that I can be Snake on a Plane ^_^

Also on the Wii is DUCK HUNT 2! Super Mario Galaxy has tons of potential and I'm thinking of moving my pre-order of Twilight Princess to the Wii version. Red Steel looks pretty damn fine and Bob Ross Painting will rock. Camelot has also announced an RPG for the Wii. I'm hoping for Golden Sun 3!

The 360 had a few interesting games. I think Dead Rising looks really cool. Also, Star Trek Legacy is looking better and better each time I see it. Also OMFG FABLE 2!!!!!11. Couldn't care less about Halo 3. Ninety-Nine Nights looks amazing. Unfortunately no Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey.

PS3... Psh. The only way they could get me to spend money on that thing would be Lunar 3 or Grandia 4.

The new Zelda for the DS looks absolutely amazing. Also Ouedan is coming to America! Although it is going to be kinda butchered... The next Yoshi's Island is looking awesome, same with a new Phoenix Wright and Castlevania.

I really need more info on Super Paper Mario. It's looking pretty damn cool.

PSP, bleh. Except for Daxter, nothing interests me. Lumines looks kind of interesting though.

Sorry if I'm not very active latly. My frickin allergies have been murder lately and it gets hard to concentrate on things. That and Kingdom Hearts owns me.

I've been attempting to write a rant about Square recently, but the afore mentioned allergies are stopping smart thoughts in my brain. Basically, Square has gone from one of my top 3 favoirite game developers to the bottom of my top 15. They proved they were still capable of making good games with KH2, yet they are still insisting on developing shit like a FF7 remake for the PS3 using the FF12 engine. They have been completly ignoring anything not related to FF7, and that pisses me off. I don't expect much from FF12, as a matter of fact, I expect it to destroy the series. I'll try it anyway though.

I'm looking forward to Children of Mana for the DS. The DS' forst online RPG. Maybe if more people support games like that or the FF3 remake then they'd get off their little FF7 binge. I am so glad they threw out that ugly Crystal Chronicles art-style for FF3. From some new screen shots I've seen, it looks actually how it should in all the Amano goodness.

By the way, the deadline for my contest is next Friday. I don't have any entries yet, but I know a few people are interested. Good luck to all!

Greetings programs! I should warn you all now, make sure you're watching my scraps. I'll be adding teasers for three new stories I've been working on into my scraps sometime this week, and I want to be sure people see them.

I'll also soon write reviews for various things, including my review of Kingdom Hearts 2! Even though I plan on submitting a full review, there is one issue I have with the game that I'd like to address, the voice acting.

Don't get me wrong, 95% of the voice acting in marvelous, but that remaining 5% makes me cringe. Isn't it ironic that it's mostly FF7 characters that annoy me? Nope, not ironic, I expected them to be boring .

Okay, sure, I'm a little biased. But what good reviewer doesn't have their own personal biases? It's what differentiates one reviewer from the other.

Anyway, back on topic, the voices of the characters Cloud, Aeris, and Sephiroth are absolutely appalling. During their little scenes I found myself shouting "SHOW SOME GOD DAMN EMOTION DAMN IT!". I practically fell asleep during Cloud and Aeris' little exchange at Hallow Bastion. Seriously, when fuckin' Squall shows more emotion than your character, that's when you know you have problems. They're lucky that they aren't important, or else the game would be ruined for me and I'd end up attacking it every chance I get like I do for FF7.

Also, Cid is still awesome.

There were a lot of neat jokes yesterday, although a few sites disappointed me. Slashdot.org's was kinda lame, also wwe.com and somethingawful.com didn't even have one! I hope you all enjoyed my little dip into insanity.

Wrestlemania is tonight and I'm still not sure if I'll be seeing it. It looks like it'll be awesome though. The return of Cactus Jack and that six-man ladder match! Aw man, I need to see it! There's also the chance that The Boogeyman will have *GASP* an actual match and not some jobber squash-fest!

I've been thinking of writing a few reviews. Such as Kingdom Hearts 2, which I own but have barely played, and Finally finishing that review of Lunar: Dragon Song. GWAR is also making a new album, which I have got to have!

Now I've got to continue on m job hunt. I've got a place in mind, but I won't say much more until it's confirmed. The biggest problem I'm having is that I don't get my license for another month.

Edit: I am so fucking pissed right now. I was suppsoed to order Wrestlemania, but apparently something's wrong with the PPV service. Comcast keeps making excuse, after excuse, then they accuse my mom of not paying the bill, which is fucking bullshit. She even called the bank for proof, and they still didn't believe her! I wouldn't get a chance to see it again until Wendsday, but their is no fucking point in seeing it when I already know what's going to happen.
