The car is awesome! Like I said before not the fastest thing on the road but still because of it's size I've taking down some pretty big competition. This car is exactly what I wanted and expected it would be. For example I took part in a gymkhana this weekend along with Mazda 3 MPS's (which suck at gymkhanas or the drivers just have no clue, anyway they're supposed to be fast), a Golf 5 GTi (with chip and some other stuff), a number of standard and modified Focus and Fiesta ST's.

With my little standard 1600 I got into the top 5 (or would've if they wrote my time down correctly). I ran 30 seconds flat on the course and the official winning time of the day was 29.7 in a highly modded Fiesta ST. So I think I did well. Afterwards the course was opened to try and improve your times and then with a person in the car I did a 30.4 aswell as another 30. something. So all in all my little car is awesome. I have pics of my car but will post others later as I want to go do a sort of "photoshoot" instead of just posting snapshots.

So in the end God gave me exactly what I asked for and I thank him for that.

For all this time I had to use my mother's car to get everywhere, I had to get up earlier to take her to work before coming to my own. Everytime I wanted to go out my friends had to come pick me up, which sucks.

Anyway now Im getting exactly the car that I wanted for so long. It's a Ford Fiesta Rsi. (know I know the people who know cars are going what the?) It's only got 70kW(not sure how much HP that is) and a mere 130 something Nm of torque. But ALL the torque is available at a mere 2500rpm which actually makes it quite fast off the mark.

I went and drove it yesterday for the first time and it handles like nothing in its class it's amazing. To give you an idea I drove the Audi A3 2.0T a little while back (amazing car) and this i.t.o. handling and ride quality is about how the Rsi feels.

So I know it's not that fast as it infact has exactly the same power as a normal 1.6 Ford fiesta of the same year model but the Rsi has a sports suspension package and the looks to-boot. Mine is going to be dark metallic blue.

The reason why I wanted this car is because my provious car was a 1.4 Fiesta and I fell in love with it. These little cars have amazing chassis and thus their road holding is excellent (I know I pushed it around everycorner I could get and it stuck like glue) Especially comparing it to my sister's Opel Corsa which can't wait to understeer even at normal driving speeds when the turn gets a bit too sharp.

Anyway I'll rant about the car when I get it and put up some pics too. The main reason for this journal is to tell about how this car re-affirmed my belief in the power of prayer.

This car to a T is exactly what I prayed for and what God told me I'd get. From the make to the model to the colour to the mileage to the price I got exactly what I asked for. The thing is I didn't even pray that much about it it was something that from the start I knew God would sort out for me. I prayed that He would just take care of the situation so that atleast I get a decent new car but that I would really like to have this car. What makes it so amazing to me is that you NEVER see any of these Rsi's for under R50 000 thier all R55 000 and up and that was just way too high and people in the industry said I won't find this car for less than that. Then while the insurance didn't pay out yet I couldn't find anything that was in a good enough condition in my price range. Then suddenly when I finally got the money I found this car.

This to me just proves that just trust in God, for anything and He will deliver.

So It's been almost a week since my little vehicular incident and still no word from the insurance. The most I've heard from them was when they phoned me to ask the details on my drivers liscence because they couldn't make out what I wrote there - what do they expect when they send you a buch of papers here they expect you to fill in an entire adress in a little block that's litteraly an inch wide and like 5mm high?

Anyway since then all quite on the insurance front.

On thursday when driving home from work I camoe upon another accident at the same spot as mine. Then friday on my way back again the lights at that same spot were acting up again doing exactly the same thing as the morning of my accident. Once again people used it as a stop sign, taking turns to go. Then when it's almost my turn I get this bad feeling (as one does after an accident at the same spot, you know once bitten twice shy) then I look at the side where I came from (opposite to where I was now) that morning. Then exactly the same as my accident, two cars pull away the light suddenly goes green from people coming from the side, just like that morning, one car races past in front of the other two, just like that morning, a second cars comes from the side, just like that morning. Only difference is here the car managed to slam on his brakes and swerve out of the way stopping less then a metre away in front of the two cars who luckily stopped in time. So that was almost a carbon copy of my accident. Scary stuff.

Then as if that wasn't enough I go and find out that at that exact spot there has been an accident each day of last week all due to the lights.
So yeah if the insurance doesn't pay out it will be really messed up as it was clearly not my fault.

But yeah with the work I'm in I'm lucky. The municapality is gonna get it now. I have a whole army of radio journalists eager for stories and this lack of service is going to get onto the list and then I've got access to the local newspaper aswell. It's personal now!

Just joking but this really needs to be adressed before someone gets really badly hurt.

Anyway that's my rant for the day

Anyway I was in a car accident this morning on my way to work and guess where I am writing this from on 2 hours later...from work! NOTHONG CAN KEEP ME FROM DOING MY DUTY! HAHAHA!

You know the part where Murphy makes his entrance is long story but I'll sum it up. This car has been giving me problems since I got it and it has cost us thousands to get it fixed. Now when it was finally in a good working condition...BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened was that I was at a traffic light and the lights were not working, all of them were red. This meant people were using them like a stop sign, each taking a turn to go. Then it was finally my turn and so me and the woman in the car next to me pulled away, but wonder above wonders suddenly the lights worked again and went green for the cars coming from the side needless to say then a car smashed into my side at quite a speed. This caused me to clip the car next to me at the rear left corner.

Anyway the woman in the car that hit me was in shock but seemed to be o.k. even though she was taken to hospital (she yelled at me a lot and cried I feel bad). The woman in the othe car that was at my side luckily just dropped her baby off at day care.

So yeah my car is a total wright-off and I got out without a scratch...go figure. I've been to the police and gave my statement so now all that is left is the insurance. That posses another problem as I have to see whether they think it's my fault or not and then I'm still on my dad's insurance and his premiums are way to high so he said he might not even report this to them, so I might not have a car anymore. Then to make it even worse my dad had to hear about this in his hospital bed after having an operation yesterday morning.

So like the icon shows I'm not impressed (except i don't smoke). But what I am impressed with is my awesome God. Because it is only by His grace, power and mercy that I stepped out of this unscathed.

Praise be to God Almighty.

Please pray that the woman who hit me will be allright, first and foremost. Then pray that everyone's insurance would pay out because this was no one's fault. This was a pure and simple accident helped on by Murphy and his idiotic law, lol. But seriously please pray.

I wish I had some pics of my car to show you guys but I didn't have my cam with me, snap.

I ask everyone to please pray for those families and everyone affected. Then I ask you to pray for the violence in schools all around the world, especially here in South Africa as well. We need to step in and intercede for our youth.

YAY YAY YAY!

O.K. enough with the YAYing. Yepee!

lol. No I just found out that I'm going to the Nelspruit this weekend to cover the National rallying championship there as a journalist. This is cool in a few senses.

1. Rallying is my favourite form of motorsport/sport, I LOVE rallying!
2. I want to become a motoring-journalist and this would help a lot in that sesne. (Experience and CV wise)
3. Then 3 is a long point, it has a story behind it. In short I didn't want the job I have now, before I got this job it seemed I was getting my dream motoring-journo job at one of SA's biggest newspapers (BEELD) with one of my best friends who was already working there. I mean it looked like God was giving this job to me, I was worried about getting an advanced driving course, bam my lecturer phones me out of the blue and askes if i'm interested in going on one, then I was worried about where I'll get a job, bam the newspaper contacts me and askes for my CV then I asked God if I could please work with my friend and it seemed to be the case but then something happened and I didn't get the job which seemed a sure thing. But then a month or two later my friend left there for another better job, so it seemed we would never work together and my dreams of motoring journalism were dashed. But wait there's more then this year out of the blue a guy contacts our journalism dept. to see if he could get a journo student to cover the rallies for them, and guess the twist...it's the company my friend works for (we found that out one day when I showed him an e-mail I was sent about this at which point he figured out that he works with this guy) So this was all God's plan because if he gave me the job at that newspaper I wouldn't have been working with my friend and now He's gonna give me an even better job (more cars, trips, and a salary of three times as much) where I do get to work with my friend!
So 3. It seems I'm gonna get what I asked for anyway.

Praise GOD! For with Him all things ARE possible!

So even though you might have some dissapointments in life don't be down because God will sort you out with something A LOT better in the end because He knows His plan for your life and what is best for you.

Can I please ask you for some earnest prayer?

It's not for me but for my sister and her boyfriends sister (mostly for her.)

I'll keep this short. My sister is REALY scared of her boyfriends sister(M). She claims to be a christian-goth (but if you look at what goth stands for you'll see this can't work), anyway she says she struggles with spirits(demons) and her soul is black. She and my sister got into a fight the other day and the room filled with flies. My siser says she feels the evil and that M uses spells etc. on people. Now we know this is not christian.

My sis told me a few other things as well. now if you knew my sis (who rarely talks to me about things in her life) and this girl scares her you would know this is serious. Now I personally believe that M is possesed (yes that does still happen).

My sister is going to try to bring her to my church on sunday (if she can get her in the car without freaking out as she can't even go near her without being overcome by M's "evil" if we can put it that way)

So I ask please pray earnestly for them both, for my sister to realise her authority in God and to be protected from evil and for M so that she can be set free from this evl that holds her down.

This is spiritual warfare people! We need to start firing back because we are taking too many casualties! Remember in Christ we are more than conquerors (Rom 8:37) the enemy can't hold us down! For we have been given authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

So please pray and join the battle.

I FINALLY GOT A NEW PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not that most of you know I didn't have one for about a year now but YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got one now and it's a MONSTER (except the graphics card which is my friend's old GeForce FX 6300, which really doesn't do much)!

It does have downside though as it did cost me a pretty penny

But yeah! This means I can finally work in PS again and edit my photos properly!

This is good 'cause since my previous pc crashed and I lost EVERYTHING I was very limited in what I could do in terms of my photography.

Everything I've done this past while was on my pc at work which is not much a a pc anyway it takes ages just to start up.

But I will not count it out yet as I do not have internet at home so everything will ultimately come through this little gem in the end. lol.

Anyway just thought I'd share. Cause I'm happy

Then as I make it a point to have something Christian in all my journals, I'll put this in.

I don't have anything to say except to ask you all to pray for me. This last while I saw things and got involved to deep in things I was not yet ready for and it has really shaken my faith. These are things like seeing so-called christians filled with so much hate for people even other christians. They have this high and mighty attetude, telling everyone else how wrong they are and condemning them out of hand.

Now don't get me wrong there is NOTHING wrong with telling people the sin they are doing is wrong, we have to do it. It's just the way in which this is done. These "christians" judge people faster that than you can say badabum and with so much hate. And when I see this it brakes my heart and everything inside of me screams this is not what Jesus wants. We are supposed to teach them with love and patience and not judge them it's not up to us. It's hard not to judge I know but "let the one without sin cast the first stone"

Then the other thing is everyday I realise more and more how many people out there don't believe in God and not just don't believe but are against it with everything they have. The thing is I knew this all along but was in denile and it absolutely kills me inside when these people start going on about how they don't believe. And it kills me that no matter what I say they just disregard it. It kills me that I can't seem to make them understand how amazing God is because everything His done for me is just seen as coincidence. But what helps me through this is knowing it's not I that saves them but God, it just hurts to see their hate.

Anyway there are many more things but I'm not gonna go into them. All I ask is pray that God gives me strength.

I know I'm gonna sound like some of your parents (who most teens feel are totally paranoid and un-reasonable).

So I saw a few movies this past week and what I found I didn't really like. First I saw Epic Movie (I know we're behind in terms of when movies are released)

I went and saw this because I thought it would be hilarious. What gets to me though is that the central movie/theme for Epic Movie was The Chronicals of Narnia. They took this perfectly good Christian tale and perverted it to the extreme. Aslan (Aslo in E M) is portrayed as an adultering pervert and their are many other things that bother me as well.

Now I feel they knew full well that Narnia is a Christian tale and Aslan=Jesus and they dileberately did this to take a shot at Christianity knowing so many wouldn't even realize. To them it's just a joke.

Then I went to go and watch 300. Now this is a GREAT movie in the sense of the acting, special effects and fight scenes etc. But what got me in this one is they fight against a guy who calls himself a god. Now that I can understand as in that time their were people who thought of themselves like that and were worshipped example ceaser.

Where it really gets to me is when they call the guy king of kings, lord of all and lord of hosts. Once again all names of Jesus. Now that kinda gets me all worked up.

The worst part of this to me is that so many "christians" let this pass saying "So what? It's not me saying it and it's only a movie chill!"

How can I "chill"? They're mocking God! and I'm supposed to chill! NO WAY!

And the thing is it's not just in these movies. It's like that in the music people listen to, the shows on tv, it's everywhere. And then people say it's harmless. For instance stuff like Harry Potter. (now I KNOW some will think I'm paranoid with this) It promotes witchcraft and we all know witchcraft is wrong yet "it's harmless". The Bible says we are supposed to HATE what is evil and love what is good. Now to me hating something is not even letting it see the light of day in your own life, still that isn't happening because "it's all so cool"

This is just the way satan opperates, appearing as an "angel of light". He makes everything look morally "good" but it's against everything God and His Bible stands for.

People need to wake up and fight back. We sit idley by as they get free potshots at Christianity and we just say "so what"

Am I paranoid? Please tell me.

Anyway things in my life are looking up (my Christian life anyway...which I guess is my only life so...things are looking up)

Firstly last nights church service was sooooooo AMAZING! We didn't really have a sermon but rather an hour long praise and worship session. It was amazing (I said that already but I'll say it again)

Secondly last night I was officially made part of our church leadership (eventhough I've been on it for a while).

Thirdly (although this should be first but I'm trying to be cronological like...) I had the most AMAZING meeting with God ever! During the service people got called forward if they had anything they wanted us (the pastor and leadership) to minister and pray for, you know laying on of hands etc. (not beating, although if I see satan I'd like to lay my hands on him lol) Anyway I finished ministering to a young boy and then started looking for someone else to go minister for. Then I saw these two guys who were praying together, holding each other with one arm and the other hand raised to the Lord. The one guy was crying his eyes out and I could see this was something BIG! So I went to pray with them and for them but as soon as I touched them I could feel the presence of God soooooo strongly, I mean NEVER have I felt it like this (except for the night I got saved maybe) I started to pray and thanking God for them and then the floodgates opened I started balling my eyes out IT WAS SOOOOOO AMAZING I can't explain it there are no words for it. WOW!

Then fourth. I am currently in a job at the university that I didn't really want but before I came God showed me why He is placing me here (the job is only for a year so it's not like I'm gonna be kept here forever). God wanted me to spread His word among the students I work with every day and He showed me one specific persons face. This is a girl who was way off. She was a drug addict, stripper and a few other things as well. Now she's kinda intimidating so I was trying to figure out how to talk to her. Then recently I found out she gave her life to Christ, just like that it's amazing. I mean you can see the change even if you don't speak to her she glows!

anyway a lot of other things have happened as well but I won't mention it all.

Once again all I'll say is GOD ROCKS!

I wonder if i get some award for saying SOOOOOO AMAZING SOOOOOO much lol?

Oh on another note. Do any of you know Haste The Day? I didn't but for some reason I thought they were cool so I went and bought myself a CD (quite xpensive as well I might add) Now as they are a christian band I didn't bother to listen to it before I bought it as I got the idea from discussions on jesusfreakhideout.com that these guys were pretty darn good. To my total shock and amazement (and my wallets dissapointment) I found they were a metal band, I mean the kind where you can litteraly not make out a single word they are saying. Now I don't have a problem with this as I believe all sorts of music can be used to praise the Lord but dang

! I thought they were simply a hard rock kinda band in the same league as Pillar, Disciple, etc.

Please tell me are all their albums like this? Or is it just this one? This album is called When Everything Falls.

Now through all these arguements I see one simple trend. People try to make God human or give Him human qualities in the sence of limitations and saying He can't do what we can't do or atleast not what we don't understand. Now the simple fact is God isn't human. God is God and we are not it's as simple as that.

Now people try to say God couldn't have made the Earth in six days (remember not seven He rested on that day) because we can't create the world in seven days. He's GOD. He's ALL POWERFULL He can't lie for if He speaks it becomes.

They say Jesus wasn't God because He was a human and they can't understand how He could be a human and God at the same time. Once again NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is impossible for Him.

Then they say He could not have risen from the dead because no one can. Again nothing is impossible for Him as He is God He holds all power over life and death. I mean He revived Lazarus from the dead and even more recently a guy called Isaiah Reed who was shot twice in the head and stabbed sixteen times and was on the autopsy table already cut open with his chest cracked open after being dead for two and a half hours and he was revived when his mother prayed to God for him. I mean that's stuff you can look up today! (just want to state there is a difference between revival and resurrection: revival is when you come back to life in your normal same body; ressurection is when you come back in your new "glorified" body which is incorruptable and cannot die as Jesus did. N.T. Wright defines ressurection as "the present state of those who had died would be replaced by a future state in which they would be alive once more" emphasis on present.

One thing I also notice is that although most Christians in debates (or Apologetics) argue well in their own minds by quoting the Bible (which is correct as it is the Word of God), but non believers don't believe what is written in the Bible and so don't care what it says. The only way that any progress can be made is if you prove that the Bible is true and correct which CAN be done by providing facts that no one can dismiss. (If you wan't me to do it note me but just know that it's gonna take some time and a lot of reading from your part)

So I just want to say that people should stop trying to make a human, with limitations, out of God because He isn't. So show some reverence please.

Anyway I just felt God has been laying this very heavily on my heart

God is not some far away being that sits and just watches the show. He is here! With you always, whether you believe in Him or not.
The great thing about God is His mercy is never ending.
When you accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour you become a new creation, washed clean of all your past sin not matter what it was even rape, murder or whatever you think is the worst thing you can do IT DOESN"T MATTER BECAUSE IT IS ALL TAKEN AWAY!

You know the best thing to me is how everybody says I don't care what people think about me and yet on a day if they find they have no designer labels to wear or for the others nothing that will scare people enough then OH NO what will they think of me!!!!

But when you are truly in Christ you REALLY do not care what people think (but sometimes we do stumble and worry about that we're only human) of you only God's opinion matters for you know that this life is only temporary and we are all equall anyway, whether the star quarterback or the best lead vocalist in the world we are all the same!
We will all be God's royal geusts in His Kingdom for all eternity.

So get over what other people think of you and focus on God.

So take the invitation of your Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and be part of the ULTIMATE after party, the one in Heaven.
