I'm not much of a fan of decorating the house, because we have to go into the crawl space downstairs, which I'm about a foot and a half too tall for. But putting up ornaments is alright; especially when I get to hang up my older sister's lovely ornaments with pictures of her angry from preschool. I'm totally taking those for my own tree when I get older. They're absolutely hysterical.

And I haven't done any homework... which is definitely a bad thing... considering it's late...

So yesterday my mom bought "Breaking Dawn" for my reading pleasure, and I'm currently on page 112. It's hilarious. So far Bella and Edward have gotten married, but now they're on their honeymoon. They had sex and Bella got bruises all over her, because Edward is a little frisky. Now Bella wants to be a human longer because she likes sex so much. It's truly a masterpiece of fluffy nonesense.

**Reasons the "Twilight" series is semi-irresistable but completely, hilariously stupid.**

1. Some girls long to have someone like Edward. He's attractive, sensitive, and seemingly likes Bella because the scent of her blood is rather orgasmic. There just aren't words that say "you're amazing" like a vampire wanting to eat you.

2. Bella is loved by Edward, Jacob, and all the boys at school (e.g. vampire, werewolf, human boys?? wtf?!). Why is she so great? Like, really? She was never described to be that amazing in the books that everyone should be obsessed with her.

3. Girls (and the few creepy boys) like the whole Edward/Jacob-Vampire/Werewolf conflict. I personally root for Jacob-Werewolf. For one, if Bella chose Jacob, she could have babies. Little, werewolf babies. But, for another, the other werewolves could read Jacob's mind and know every detail of their relationship. A bit disturbing, if you ask me. She chose Edward, but I don't really know why. She wants to become an undead blood-thirsty killer and abandon all of her friends just because she just loves Edward THAT much?

4. Although the Vampires have lived for many, many years, they still act like teenagers. Hence the fact that they're relatable to by teenage fangirls. You'd think that they'd be a little wiser and knowledgable, but they seem pretty lax. I mean, Edward fell in love with a seventeen-year-old girl, and Alice is obsessed with shopping.

5. It's silly, but some people don't realize it. They're too blinded by Bella's and Edward's steamy Human/Vampire romance. Even if it is a little creepy that he lays by her each night and watches her sleep. Doesn't he have anything better to do? He is like a century old. He should be researching for a cure for cancer or something.

6. People are weird. It's a fact, and sometimes people really just like werewolves, or have some strange fascination with vampires. I'm not hating on you if you're one of those people; it's just a little odd.

7. Although Bella is hunted by murderous vampires and in mortal peril all the time, she is still concerned with petty things like birthday presents and how many she got, and whether or not her boyfriend spends too much money on her.

All in all, this series is fun to read (and very easy to read), but not serious in any sense. For instance, "To Kill a Mockingbird" is a book I would consider meaningful and serious. "Harry Potter" not so much, but I consider it more of a limbo in between "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Twilight". "Breaking Dawn" is kind of awful, not gonna lie, and I skipped through it a bit and I think Bella is a werewolf? Dunno, but if she is, effing genius!
