My old HP hand-me-down finally committed self-arson and died a very fried tempura death. My poor baby and it took all of spring break to buy a new laptop. And now I'm 1k in the hole. It SUCKS badly.
And the bank screwed me over so now I have to pay my parents back the 1k because we charged it to their charge card... cause I was getting a loan right and they had approved my loan, but now they're flaking out on me, and since we already BOUGHT the laptop we can't return it or anything so anyways. Yeah.
And I don't have any credit... even though this was supposed to put good credit under my name.
It's screwed up right. e_e

Anyways.

I'm finally 18. Took AGES and AGES to get there. But here I am. >W<
As of Monday, January 12, 2009 I am 18 years old.

There's a definite change for me. I can't explain it though, and I guess some people just don't feel it, cause they always tell me it doesn't feel any different, but it does. You have more freedom, but also MUCH more responsibility. It's stressful at times but I'm coping. ^^

Just a few updates. <3

I've just got about 12 more days until winter break and I'm almost screwed at school (Namely Japanese) but not yet thank goodness. <3
I'm sorry I hardly post. It's mostly because I've been so busy with school and work that I haven't had time to finish anything post worthy. I mean I sketch a lot and do a lot of pencil works, but I doubt anyone is interested in though. >///<
I have been working on Deliria as well as one of my short stories too. >_> But that's a secret. ;D

I updated my footer with commissions, gifts and art trades. I'm NOT open for art trades, and don't ask for free art PLZ. I'm so sick and tired of it. ;A; I get enough of it at school.

Oh and I got sucked into WoW, but it doesn't consume more than 3-4 hours a week at the most. So I'm not pathetic yet.

So christmas is coming up right? And in the spirit of free stuff this is my request for all those secret santas out there. >w< Cause I LOVE doing secret santas. <3 Especially when artists I admire lots are taking place in them as well. ^^ <3

And we all know vareity is the spice of life!
Note that I prefer most of my characters to be coupled but I will have a few singles in there as well. (But I prefer the couples!)

My NUMBER ONE DO WANT is my couple from my own original story Deliria.

Meet Midori (The girl) and Cameron (the boy).
A little bit of background on each so you have an easier time drawing them!
Midori is asian and does have a twin. She's Japanese-American to be exact. She's very thick/dense to other's feelings toward her. She's also possessed so-to-day by 4 other women's spirits, but that's beside the point. XD
Cameron is a white boy. He's very dedicated to taking care of Midori and keeping her out of the trouble she always seems to find herself in. He's been in love with her practically since they met, and they've known each other for ages now. He's very sweet and self sacrificing. But once he gets fed up he becomes very blunt. They're both 16-17 years old. And I'd rather have them being kindy cutsey romantic, or have him being very romantic and her being sweet back to him, but dense.

Second

Kyle and Minoru OMJ. I love these two so much. Note that if you do draw them, draw him with a bottom half and if you colour it I'd appreciate it if you stuck with the red streak in her hair and gold eyes. D=
Kyle (the girl) is very stubborn, outspoken, witty, rude, obnoxious and just adorable. She's very tiny compared to everyone around her as well. She's got the whole ancient wisdom because she's been dead for 300 years (but she's stuck in the form of a 16 year old so blah). She likes to get smart with people and she's madly in love with Minoru.
Minoru is a pushover of a man, and he's the denser one in the relationship, but that doesn't really get in his way. They knew each other before he Kyle and him died. Kyle became a death god and Minoru was reborn around 300 years later. He dies again at the age of 22-24 y/o and becomes a death god. He doesn't remember her till later but they're relationship is very intimate and passionate. He's very protective of her because she's small and petite and has a vengegance the size of Russia.
They're story is set in London so I'd appreciate it if you tried to set your picture with that in mind.

If your only interested in drawing one person in a picture I'll give you a single male and a single female to choose from.


This is my anime-persona. I feel that I'd be outspeaking myself if I gave a description of how I think I am but let's just say I'm relativly outspoken and outgoing, and conceited. But I can be an angel at the right times.
Give her crazy hair. XD Keep with the green and blonde, but add a colour if you want. XD

Then Fai D. Flowright! (With my OC Ai if you know what I'm talking about when I say that. XD)But if you don't know Ai then just Fai!

So so sooooooo. I totally didn't post a journal saying I was going
to it (let alone having a table) but I WAS at Auroracon and I DID have a booth!
This was the first time Auroracon was a two day con and this was also MY first two-day con, so thanks for everyone who was so patient with me and my ditzyness!

I sold the majority of the manga I was wanting to get rid of and the updated list can be found here.

Art wise I am trying to get some scans OR pictures of some of the portraits/commissions I did at the con from the costumers, but it's being a little difficult. I will post them as soon as I get them though! Promissssse. I will also be scanning and posting the newest additions to my portfolio tomorrow whilst doing homework and commissions. XD

Um the con went GREATTT. I was booth partners again with and I met a LOT of dA people! I won't list them all cause I'm lazy. XD Most of my money went to jewerly from Tiffany who made the most adorable little trinkets. I will take pictures with them and post them with pictures of my newest hair style! They also went to commissioning other folks. I got THREE commissions from and one from . I bought a few other things, but damn I got a LOT. In all I got about $500. Part of which was commissions, part of which was the manga and wallscrolls I pawned off. XD I spent around $300 though. >///<

Well, we have our stuff and all 5 of us are in Anchorage now... sadly not all five pets though. We're now down to four. Chibi our grey tabby ran away during the few final days that they were packing up in Juneau and she didn't come back before they had to leave... ;_;
My guess is she's somewhere in the treetops feasting on her freshly killed bald eagle. <3 I miss her and always will but still.... She's doing good... I really hope I can find her when I get to go down to Juneau.
Ahahaha. I passed all my final except for Japanese... I'm gonna retake it at UAA. Ummm I get to go to Juneau this August! It's my reward for passing all my classes during the transfer with a C or better.
Shut up... I know. I should have aced Japanese but it's hard to transfer language classes in the middle of the year.

W00T!
I'm soooo hyper. There's been fires all around Anchorage this week. D= It's in a record high stage temperture wise. Completly horrible. Makes me want to go back to safe, safe Juneau even more. D=

But I'm kinda happy in a paranoid, worrisome way.

My dad gets here in about a week.
I miss him and my family and even my cursed little sister.
I also want to see my dog but the road conditions were horrible when me and my mom drove here.... so ugh. ;_;
I want to see them all along with ALL my pets safe and sound.
The thing is.... 2 of my cats (the two ones that are 16) Blacky (my bundle of love) and Munchie (the sweet mommy to us all including humans, even to our dog) aren't passing the health checkups and so the vet won't give my dad the papers they need to get to the two cats across the Canadian border... I'm scared that the only option we have is to give them to the Humane Society (Where they'll be put down because people don't normally adopt old pets like that), put them down, or smuggle them which could very well get them either confiscated or have my Dad arrested.
I love them so much and they've always been there for me my entire life, since I was born. I don't want to never see them again... ;_;
So I'm gonna ask my dad to smuggle them... with 2 other healthy cats and a dog do you think that the customs will notice that there are 2 extra felines in cages beneath all the bagage?
Please tell me what I should do? I'm totally freaked out.

Okay so yeah. Finals are coming up.... D=
I soo do not wanna take them... that and I got in a fight with my mom over math.... again. Whatta.... -grumbles-

But yeah.
I'll most probably flunk my Japanese final. Transfering into this one has got me all confused. ;_; I like the class... it's just a little more then I'm used since I'm also moving and keeping track of stuff going on in Juneau still. X_x But I plan to take it as a college course in the summer. I've heard that it's better that way anyway so I won't worry about Japanese.

Algebra.... Hmmmnnn... I'm screwed over. This one is the only other one that I got screwed over on during the move. I'll get no higher then a D+ on it probably with how low my test scores are already in that class. From a B to an F, pretty bad eh?

I'm doing pretty good in typing, according to the typing program I'm an expert typer in everything with the exception of a typo here and there. Buet you can find more typos then stars in the sky in my other journals though. D=

Physical science is fun. I'll definatly pass it! <3 Yey. I'm the only freshman in that class. Bwahahaha!

Lit should be easy as well, gym should also be a piece of cake.

In other news I've decided what I want to major in and I've brought it down to the top 3. My credits after senior year will decide which one I major in I guess, as well as any summer school I'll be taking. D= Ew, summer school! I dunno...

I felt the urge to make a journal entry... I should be studing for my test next period... ahahaha. I dunno.

I feel lonly and shit.... and all that... and... I dunno. Uninspired maybe?
I have so much I need to upload and work on... this sucks.
I hate it.
I hate feeling like this.
I dunno.
I hate my school, I hate the majority of my classes, I hate the stupid people who actually have the guts to come up to me and tell me "Juneau sucks".

RANT...

Juneau was my life up till I moved. I loved everybody there and I miss everybody. The good and the bad.... It makes me feel like shit to say it, but I seriously HATE Anchorage and can't wait to move out.
The people here just don't understand the fact I'm not a big city girl.... and the fact that they'll get more then an ear full from me when they insult Juneau.
We whooped their ass at basketball, and god knows at what else.

In Juneau we have literate people.... who tend to like to hold a worth while convo for more then 2 or 3 seconds if the people here in Anchorage even have an attention span like that.
Makes me ashamed to be a freshman. They're all immature here. Sure I have my immature moments.... but hell, I'm not as bad as the upperclassman even.
The people in Juneau were individuals.... they didn't need to loose or too tight of clothes where either the crack or boob are showing to be able to be ourselves.
The people in Juneau knew what the word "Theatre" meant.... I'm not to sure about here....
Also it seems to me that the majority of people here.... the only kind of music they've heard of is R&B and RAP.... What ever happened to classical or even classic rock.
It makes me angry.
It seems harder to make friends here and I miss everyone. I'm sick and tired of it and I'm lonly.... ;_;

I'm so sick and tired of everything!
My mom FORCES me to move, my friends are pissed at me saying it was MY choice, my mom is a one sided S.O.B who can't consider anyones feelings but her own!

Why the fuck can't she listen to me, or support me!
I should be happy that she at least feeds me at this point.
I'm at the point where I hate her, I loathe her, and she's not helping herself any.

From the beggining shall we:

So a friend offers to let me live there and finish out the school year at the least.
Hey this is what the reply was: "You planned that didn't you, I can't believe it! You don't love me!"

So yeah, that was that and I just gave up on the move. After I decided I would go she goes and attempts to keep me from my friends as much as possible. I escaped that..
The week after spring break we moved. Yey! Whatever. I hate it.
3 FUCKING days driving through Alaska and Canada... 3FREAKINDAYS! >0

Now, we're in Anchorage, so "OMG shopping"

I have no arguement with that until I walk into a few places to get an application and it's all 16+, Okay so the next place will be 15+... haha, no. That didn't happen, turns out you have to be 16+ to work anywhere.
I told my mom, and guess what.

She thinks I was joking just so she would give me money.

And from previous rants we all know my mom wants me to pay for EVERYTHING.
Clothes, books, school supplies, art supplies, phone, etc.

So Amanda is sooooo fucked. T_T
She's bee reduced to sleeping on the apartment FLOOR and eating TV dinners.
AT 15 YEARS OF AGE! How horrible is that? :/

Think what you will, it's just a pity trip/rant on my part. Pay no attention to it.

But since I'm broke and right fucking next to homeless.... then I will be opening commisions....
