Lovely, Lovely Autumn

I'm trying out a new CSS that seems to fit the season a little better. ^^

So how is everyone? Guess what? It's my favorite season-Autumn! And my favorite month too- October! YAAAAAY!!! the colors are growing more and more beautiful every day.

At least that's good. ^^ I'll admit life's getting a little tough right now. I have a certain art teacher for two periods on my B-day at school that I have a really time with. Our personalities tend to clash, but I never say anything but "thank you" and "okay" so he'll just stop lecturing me on every little thing and leave me be to do my art. And then after those two periods, my english taecher chewed me out for not taking notes. I thought those were optional, especially since it's exactly what we write for our study guides. *frustrated* At least productions was a good way to start the day. Our drama teacher here is incredible.

Anywho! Now that that little bit is out, I just need to thank everyone for everything!

Busy Busy Busy -Update

Yes, I still have managed to working on my own personal projects which include but are not restricted to:

Sewing a full size dress in the style worn by the Mormon pioneers <~ DONE

Decorating a bag bought at an army surplus store "Smith and Edwards" with embrodery and some fabric paint <~DONE

Shading one of my old drawings(I believe it's title is "Elven Portrait" in my Old Sketches) to be pencil realism. I can't wait until I finish it and put it up. <~ALMOST DONE (I used it for a critique session in my AP art class. They were impressed, I can't wait to show you. ^^)

Designing and sewing a very pretty skirt out of scraps I've collected. I'll put up the designs as soon as I can. <~IN THE PROCESS (I have the designs and the peices cut out, but they are no peice of art work, lol XD. I'm the only one who could understand all of the scribbles)

Designing and sewing a large bag that can hold my sketchbook and art suplies in style. There aren't any 2D designs for that, I make it up as I sew it. ^^ <~CANCELLED

NEW PROJECTS:

Create several more characters in the same design as "Elf Maiden -The Finished Work" for someone who likes that picture and is using her and the others for illistrations in her fantasy novel.

Design the makeup to be used in our high school's fall production, Peter Pan, and others. I'm going for a scholarship in the Stage Makeup area.

Come up with a unique costume for Halloween this year. I want to be a Steam Punk/Air Pirate. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Almost a Year =)

I can hardly believe it, on the 30th, I'll have been on here for one year.

And I'm still not on top of the game!! C'mon! What's wrong with all of you?!

No, I'm soooooo just kidding. Completely joking around. You are all so very amazing.

So life has perked up, my self-esteem is back to normal, sunny and bright.
I'm going to be on the Theatre Productions Company/Team after all (my mom had convinced me to resign and that made me depressed, but the director totally disagreed with everything my mom said to make me do that and I'm still on it). So that mean's I'm going to California next year!!! Woooohoooo! I can't wait to see the ocean for real!! The last time I saw the ocean, I was 6 years old!

I'm also getting myself into a slight love tangle, but I won't go into detail. Just little things I thought were simple aren't so simple anymore. So some of my art may be a little inspired by that in the future.

I'm also looking for a job, because that trip to Cali is going to cost me $525. I would hope that I could use art to make that money, so I may be really busy and not get on here as often.

And I'm also picking up my work out regimen again and OUCH!! I swear that half the muscles in my body have turned to stone, like it's impersonate a mineral week. My shoulders feel like granite and my legs are marble. It hurts to laugh because my whole torso is sore and if I look anywhere, my neck threatens to tear something. I'm sooooo stiff. >.< But! I'm going to be super strong by the end of the summer! I'm really exited!

Hi everybody! ^^ Lovely weather, isn't it? Everything is turning green,pink, white, yellow, purple, blue, orange, red..... all of the colors of spring. And the lovely dandylions are everywhere! And my battery is just about to die..... >.> My dad turned off the elcectricity on this side of the house so he could put in some ceiling fans.

I'm going through a trial right now, but with it someone else is going to be very happy, so that's what I keep telling myself because my self-esteem is taking a beating; being hit, punched, kicked, bit and everything else. But it's still standing. ^^ I won't let anything get it down. Pity parties are for losers.

Wow, I've been needing somewhere to say that, it's already making me feel better. ^^

My Birthday! =D

Monday was my 17th birthday!
And it was wonderful! I had a great day!

On Sunday (cuz I had to be at play practice very late on my birhtday) my parents let me open my birthday presents! I'm just so happy I want to tell you what I got, you'll be seeing evidences of my gifts up here soon.

I can now see color in my skin, from reading outside in the warm sun. I read Zorro and am nearly finished with The Moonspinners(Mary Stewart). Two extremely good books if you ask my opinion. The Moonspinners is my favorite, this being the third time I'm reading it.

Not to mention that my sister just got the camera I really want and ~rhyeen got a new camera too. Oi, I just keep telling myself how much I love my current digital camera (woot for four megapixels! That's not even enough for the Digital Photo class I'm taking next year. ). Which I do. I just want the updated 7 MP camera that my sister got. Same as mine but better.

About housefires... In my area not yesterday(13th) but the sunday before, there were three house fires. I watched one down the street burn down. I saw the lifeflight hellicopter fly in, then fly back to the the hospital. I saw the burn marks on another house (their stupid fault for making meth in their basement, der...if you make meth, you're an idoit, period. If you intake it, you're even stupider.). I saw the pictures in the news of the third.
Then just to add to the scare, I was reading outside yesterday. Around 3:00 someone's fire detecters down the street went off and never turned off. I tried to ignore it for a while, hoping that they were just testing them since I couldn't see smoke. I finally tried knocking on their door but no one answered. I told my parents and they called the police, who brought along the fire department. Strangely, the front door was unlocked, the windows open, and their purse and cell phone on the table. They went in and mentioned that it might be Carbon Monoxide. Golly I just about cried cuz I thought it was my fault if the elderly couple inside had fallen asleep and died cuz I waited. But no one was there and there was no CO. I'm a little worry wort. But I'm proud becuase no one else in the neighborhood bothered to check and I took the initiative. It makes me wonder if they'd do anything if the same thing were happening at my house...

Please, test your fire alarms this summer, make sure you have carbon monoxide detectors on each house level. Get some food stored away, just in case. Get your stinkin butts out of debt while you can (I promise that you can live without that new couch, iPod, TV, Xbox or whatever. Pay off some debt, smaller ones first. <...

No Screen Week

Starting tommorrow my family is having a No Screen Week (Apr 7-14). This means no tv, video games, or computor (unless nessasary for homework) for a week. Fortunatly, DeviantArt isn't homework. Unfortuanatly, I can't get on DA. Feel free to keep an eye on my activity and if I get on, scold me.

Oh golly, I'm on such a sugar high from easter candy! AND! A side note, don't watch "I am Legend", I did last night cuz Im not allowed to take my laptop out of the family room, and that's where my parents watched it. It's so scary that I screamed, which I really don't do when watching movies and definatly not with both my parents there. They were teasing me the rest of the movie and "warning" me of any more scary parts that came up. \><;/ I'm not afraid of the dark, but I was so afraid of it last night that I wanted to scream and cry and scold myself all at the same time for being afraid when I had to turn off the lights in our vast unfinished basement. Oh scary scary scary, Spiderman 2 is no longer at the top of my list of scary movies.

Hey every body!!I just came up with a fun game! And it's focused on you! (the reader of this very journal). You don't have to already know me to play! I'm open to new friends!

The steps go:

I'm really happy right now! I think it's because I'm eating more chocolate than my silly brain can handle. Now tell me if this is a little backwards. My mom is telling me to eat this chocolate. Included are about 30 normal chocolate Kisses, 15 cordial Kisses, and two regular sized packs of M&M's. She's ENCORAGING me to eat these (I've already eaten who knows how many kisses already), cuz the more I eat, the less she'll eat. Aren't mothers supposed to tell you to eat your veggies and not eat candy when it's close to your bedtime? Heehee! I'm soooooo spoiled everyone should hate me. ^^

.....man am I gonna feel sick......

So I don't think I've really said anything about life since school started!

I LOVE SCHOLL!!!!!.....uh *turns red with embarrasment* I NEED SCHOOL!!!!!!

So yep! I'm soooo happy that I get ot see all of my friends everyday and go to all of my fun classes and eat on a regular schedule and escape from my brothers and sisters and show off my fashion style and smile and wave and laugh and dance and sing and all sorts of things that home is too boring to do at! I'm sooo exited for the next musical that my school's Productions Company is doing because I'm sure I'll get the part that I want! (for the first time in my life......) I've really improved my singing, I used to be horrible at singing, but I've been teaching myself and practicing and I'm rather proud of myself for that.

Oh! and I'm now a pro usher! These past two weeks have been pretty hard on me (starts telling the story). So I made the big school musical (for safety measures I can't tell what it is), and when I say big, I mean BIG, as in the director has spent over $20,000 dollars on it and that's already been made up by ticket sales. Yeah....and I got a fun part in it and was having a blast at reahersals. And then I got an "F". THE FIRST AND ONLY ONE I'VE EVER RECIEVED mind you, and I got kicked out of the musical. I feel bad because the director is really sad that he couldn't find a way that he could keep me in it, and everyone else is bummed and I feel bad that I let everyone down. But now I've been assigned Head Usher and the Official Scenery painter, because that's the best I can be without breaking school rules. (heehee, I blew away the director when he saw what I painted).

So yep! It was really depressing at first, having to watch somebody else play the part I loved and do what I live for, but a friend of me who is in the same boat is helping me usher every night and is the best moral support I can ask for. I'm kind of glad that I can't be in it because he now has someone to watch the show with! Now I'm just trying to be the friendliest, most proffessional, cheerful usher that I can be and I'm having a blast doing stage makeup for the actors and actresses!

Life is still wonderful, even with it's downs because there are more than enough ups to make up for those downs of you just look for them.

Halloween Questions!

I still haven't got around to redoing my lost journal *sulk* but heres some Halloween questions that I got tagged by ~Ballerinette !

1. Are you going Trick-or-Treating? What are you going as?
Umm......I'm sixteen and I'm already planning out our Halloween trick-or-treating plans! My friend (guy) and I are planning on going as Peter Pan and Wendy. It's going to be a blast! and according to my mom, you're only too old too go T&T when you don't want to anymore!

2. Has it ever snowed on Halloween for you?
I've been through all sorts of Halloween weather. Rain, lot's of snow (the state I currently live in is famous for it's snow), warm weather, horrid wind, you name it.

3. Are you going to hand out candy? What was the best thing you went as as a kid?
Of course i give out candy! If I'm going to go T&Ting, I'm going to give out the fun as well! ^^
-the best thing I went as as a KID was Jasmine (with a little Alladin buddy as well ^^), as a teenager, I'd say either a Gypsy or Pirate. Those were really fancy home-made costumes (I should put up pics).

4. What was your first costume?
The first costume I remember wearing was that jasmine costume mentioned above. But according to my mom, I was a lion my first year.

That's right! There's actually been over 500 for a while, I'm just too lazy to update my journal. ^.^

Soo! I need to follow the tradition and draw/paint something to celebrate! I have some ideas....

Anywho, school starts tommorrow!!! Yay! I'm soo exited! I'm taking some really fun classes! And I get to see all of my friends everyday too!

Yep! I finaly got pretty much cought up on scanning my art. I didn't do all of the drawings in my sketchbook, and I left off one or too that are spoilers for an rp I'm a host for. Some of the pics I didn't even crop cuz I didn't feel like it and sometimes it's fun to look at the sketchbook like it's there. ^^ Like before, most of these are just sketches and may never be finished. I got a couple of watercolors in there too.

As for my life, it's doing great. I'm enjoying my summer. I like the heat. I'm having a lot of fun playing with my little parrotlet, Jack. He's so cute! *squeel* \^.^/

I'm super exited for scool to start! That means I get to see my friends everyday! We like to meet up in the morning, show off our new sketches, draw during school and finish it at night, then show them off again! ^^ I'm super exited! I also am now in our school's theatre team will get to work with that, and I'm taking French again, along with so many other fun classes. One of the best parts is that I'm NO LONGER TAKING MATH!!!! I hate that subject with a passion. Love the class though, one of the best classes to daydream to and draw in!

Anyway, exitment mania.

Okay! As those lokking at this page can see, I added some more stuff. Mostly pottery. That's only about a third of what I've done. I'm just really lousy at treating my work well and need to clean what's left before I take pictures and stick them on a world-wide website...O.o

I still havn't gotten back my scanner (well actually, it's my parent's scanner, so that's why). I've colored Elf Maiden inked, just her, not the backround, I still need to do that, and I've come up with a few other little doodley sketches. And a comic making fun of a friend and I ^_^ hee hee! I'm such a pest!

^_^ I'll stick on some stuff when I get around to it!

Yum! Chocolate!

I'm happy right now! My summer's plenty fun! Doing chores like anything so I can hang out with friends. Why? Because I'm freaking grounded all summer! Grarrrr! Yep. But I deserve it... bad grades....shame Vanaliel, shame.

I'm just drawing like crazyish. Found an earwig on my bed last night at three. I won the battle but slept in the living room anyway. You never know when there are going to be more >.< Waaaaa! I'm terrified of earwigs! *tears flying everywhere*.

I'm hoping to make my summer more adventurous. I'm still having fun doing roleplaying. Shippyness! Yay!! I'm such a shipper and I'm new there! Check out this awsome site! [link] I love it! Then click on forums after you read the webcomic. I'm Vanaliel there too ^_^

Yep, I'm bored. It's interesting to read and watch all sorts of stories of adventures that happen during the summer. I'm still waiting for my huge summer adventure, are you? Heeheehee!...I'll just have to make one!

I'm just having fun playing role-playing games right now but they are going slow at the moment. And drawing more pictures. I'll get them up as soon as I get my scanner back. And I got to make to make a skirt and sushi with a very awsome guy yesterday! He actually has an account here, he's marccusstratus! Check out his amazing stuff in his gallery! We'll probably stick a pic of the skirt on one of our galleries when it's done. So keep an eye out!
