It's taken far longer than it ever should have, but that's life. I'm about 80% finished. Just putting the final touches on the interface, and populating content. It's a responsive, parallax design that uses some nifty jQuery action. I'm super happy with it, and very excited to roll it out in the next few days.

Cool, huh? Turned out pretty sweet I think.  I've been doing a lot of parkour/freerunning training lately. In a short 3 months, it's begun permeating almost all facets of my life. Vectortrance Studios is moving. I'm packing up and moving into a new "office" (read as cramped basement suite) with my best friend and 3 hot chicks. And a hot tub.

I'm hoping the change of scene and change of lifestyle that accompanies it will benefit my creative process.

I never really intended to get too personal on dA for various reasons, but I feel like I've finally become an active part of the community, so I am growing less hesitant about deconstructing some of the walls I've built up.

Life can be difficult sometimes. Long story short, I've been dealing with one thing after another after another after... its sort of worn me down emotionally, and one of the side effects is that I've sort of fallen into a rut in terms of creativity.

Driver's Life will bring automotive enthusiasts news, reviews, photos, videos, and commentary together in an environment that encourages discourse about the topic of cars and trucks. There are still a few bugs to work out in regards to the theme and functionality, but I feel that it is finished enough to officially present it to the world.

Some of the pieces no longer reflected who I am as an artist. Some of the pieces reminded me of a time I'd sooner forget. Some of the pieces just plain sucked. I feel that my gallery as it stands now will serve to strengthen my professional and artistic identity.

As I was removing the irrelevant pieces, it dawned on me how much I have truly grown as an artist in a relatively short amount of time. The improvement in the overall quality of my work from even just a year ago to now is massive.

I've decided to begin work on a tutorial website that allows designers to create and upload tutorials made for their favorite graphic editing programs such as Photoshop, Gimp, Corel Draw, Ms-Paint... Anything they want!
Submitters will be encouraged to link back to their own websites, portfolios, or dA accounts, bringing plenty of well deserved attention to their body of works!
Additionally, I want to offer features such as forums, and chatrooms.

Some young whippersnapper from Calgary, Alberta, Canada has the great honor of rendering some concepts for the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Basically here's the deal:

What I design, they will ultimately fabricate!!! We're talking about external styling, spoiler, hood, body kit, rims, etc.
Thus far I've completed some basic linear designs, seen from 3 different angles. Included are some point form notes with various thoughts and ideas I've been floating around. You can see it  HERE!

I've been asked to assist with some renders for the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) car show in Vegas!  It seems that Saturn / GM want to have a few cars at the show, and I've been asked to help create some renders with restyling and performance parts for the Sky and Aura vehicles. How FRIGGIN cool would that be to have SEMA showcase a car I had a hand in creating?!?!?!?! Especially for Saturn, a brand that I have insane loyalty to.
