I have decided to do something I have never done before at a con.
At Fanime Con in San Jose California May 23rd - 26th I will be in ARTIST ALLEY!!!

This means I will be selling prints, coffee mugs, bookmarks, key chains and I might be raffling off a shirt featuring a colored version of EARLY MORNING JITTERS [link]
I will also be doing commissions of Gaia characters and almost anything else you request!

I have a tiny problem though.
I'm BROKE.
So I'm wondering if I could maaaaaybe get some commission work from you guys on here for money. In the past I have done it for Gaia gold but it doesn't pay for prints or convention passes.

There doesn't seem to be any good movies out right now. However, I can't wait till I am dragged by my hair practically by my boyfriend and his comic book nerd friends to go see Ghost Rider or Eargon or Superman or some crazy shit like that. I only go because I never have to pay.

You should all know me by now right? I've been here, what? 2 years? I'm compassionate and nice. But under it all I'm a grade-A bitch who needs to rant every once in a while so here is the journal entry that will either make me, break me, or just not have people care.

I HATE homophobes.
I HATE racists.
and I HATE hypocrites.

However, I also hate people of sexual preference and race that won't shut the fuck up about it.
I am getting sick and tried of all these people who use either race or sexuality to blame other people for their idiotic behavior!

Story A: I work in a book store and as policy we are told to check 20 dollar bills to make sure they are not self printed. You hold it up to the light, look for the water-make, blah blah blah. Well, I do it to everyone, because I want to do well in my job, and I hate it when people try to cheat me. So I check this one guy's 20 and I'm as nice as hell as I always am, and at the end of the transaction, he gets in my face and says "I wanna speak to your manager, NOW!"
It turns out, the guy thought I was discriminating him because he was african american by checking his bill. So my boss, had to kiss his ass because he was making some huge scene in the store and I was told to not check anymore. During the next week after they told us not to check, we got a total of 10 self printed bills. It pisses me off. It's stupid and annoying to think that we have to kiss your ass just because you aren't the same race as us. Yeah, I know you had a hard time and everything but so has everyone else! I have African American friends, in fact one of them is sitting next to me. Get this straight people:
We're all HUMAN! No one deserves more special treatment then the other! It's shit liek this that makes us hate eachother in the first place!
Story B: This is for all you gay, bi, lesbian, transgender, straight etc.
My friend works in the student store of my school. Sweetest, most hyper little think you have EVER seen or met in your life! She makes me happy just being around her. So she's stacking a shelf with her back to the door and she heard someone walk in, note I'm talking to her at the time at the counter. So this woman walks in and sinse she's unable to see them, she cranes her neck as much as she can with a stack of books against her face and chirps out "Hellooooooo, person!" because she couldn't see if it was a boy or a girl or what. I looked at the person and just smiled and waved, not thinking anything odd about it, she looked like just a normal girl to me. So my friend rings her up and the girl leaves. Then the next day, my friend is bawling her eyes out in the hall saying she was writen up for a hate crime! So I ask the head of the store what the Hell was going on and he says "Well, the person who filed the report said Steph [my friend] made a rude comment about her sexuality."
and I said "That girl who was in here?! What about it? All Steph said was 'Hello, person'!!!"
and the head then said "Well, she was a transvestite."
I was in total shock, Hell I COULDN'T EVEN TELL! So the girl [I still call her girl because that is the gender she prefered] comes in and explains that my friend had insulted her. And I shot out, "Well, dear! If you're going to make such a HUGE disition with your body, you should be prepared to run into a couple of problems. It's not like we knew, stop being so defencive! If you have a problem, tell it to our faces, correct us! Say we hurt you or something and explain why! We're open! We have transgendered friends, gay friends, lesbian friends, HELL, some of us ARE! Don't whine and complain because you think the world should cushion you!" She got pretty quiet after that and said sorry and we told her we understood how she could be scared to admit it but again, if she had decided to such a thing, she has to be ready to admit it.

To me, I think it's all insecurity. Not being happy with yourself. Fear of what others think. This world cares too much about what other people think. I know people don't come out to their parents because it hurts to have the people who gave birth to you, yell at you for something you can't help. But that's their problem, if they can't accept you, I don't think you need them.
I have defended my friends of other races from people on countless times, I have been the pillar that people lean on when they come out to their families, I have seen it all I have felt it all I have heard it all. And even though I hate a good chunk of it, I still stand by it.
For instance, I hate yaoi with a passion, yuri, yaoi, whatever. It annoys me, I use to like it but it was a phase, now it just makes me sick. I draw it for other people though, because I know many people like it and good for them.

Hawaii was...interesting. But I am so happy to be back now, I swear to god above I kissed the landing flat when I got off the plane!

I'll map it out for you. We had some freak weather first of all. My mom complained but I liked it, tropical rain is my happy panda dance!...That means I liked it...
Yeah, lots of rain, rain and shopping.

I did swim in the ocean however! But...
After about 5 days of nothing but beaches...you start to get a tiny bit sick of it. So I wondered around the streets mostly. It's so pretty! All the trees and water and birdies and flowers and people...ok not the people, the people I could have lived without but everything else was nice! I bought a lot of gifts for like, everyone! More then I bought for myself. Mostly little nic-naks and clothes.

I took pictures, mostly of odd stuff, plants, the stormy weather and one or two of this Nude Beach we went to...Anyone ever seen Eurotrip? Well, like that but there were actually women there too. Very nice, very loose. I didn't take off anything...or stare...ok, I did stare (Do~sukebeda!), but I enjoyed it for other reasons too! The waves were calm there so I could swim freely without being smacked back onto the sand by the huge waves they had at the other beaches. By the way, I got tossed around a lot...Ow...

But still fun!

Why was I gone?
A few reasons:

1. My computer screen went out. Just like not even the little "bezoooooop" sound, just "POP" and then blackness! So I had to wait about...how long have I been gone? One, two weeks? Oh well, yeah. Stupid screen...

2. Finals. We all know that horror, right? No need to explain, right? Right. Moving on.

3. Work. We are as busy as hell now because of all those last minute shoppers. Morons.

Well thats whats been keeping me. Now for what's new:

Um...jesus, not much.
Work, yeah work has been Hell. I never get how so many people can shop at the last minute and expect things not to be sold out. I find it funny how people get mad at the workers for stuff being out of stock a week before Christmas. We stock what we can but other places are ordering shit too ya know. We can't just hord stuff.
Also, because of Work, I have learned to hate Manga fans. Yeah, that's right! I hate all of you fuckers that walk into my section, which took me an hour and a half to clean up and restock, and pull books off the shelf and then just leave it on the tops of the shelves or on the floor to get stepped on. Or if you DO put them back, it's sloppily where the pages and covers get bent and damaged, or it's out of order, CAN'T YOU PEOPLE COUNT?! Oh and to all of you who try to hide the books you want that we only have one of behind other books, you're fucking retards, we go through every night and morning and find shit and put it back. In fact, I am even worse then that, because every time I witness someone pulling that shit, I walk over, take it out of it's hiding spot and buy it, just to spite them! I have so many unstarted/finished series because of that I'm like a floor shop at an anime convention swap meet! Also, stop unwrapping the mature manga, please! If someone comes up to my register with an unwrapped Mature Manga, I dun care if they aren't the ones who did it or not, I charge them extra on purpose, there's no sticker on it anyway, so they can't tell. If they're underage and give me shit about not wanting to show an ID, I double the price. You call me a bitch, I call you an immature cockbite. Piss off.
Now, to all you parents. You know when you have kids, you have ot be the one who takes care of them right? So where in your tiny mind do you get the impression that the employees of our store are your kids own personal babysitters? We will not, I repeat WILL NOT watch your brats! Fuck, you know what, when you leave your kids in the childrens section so you can have some peace and quiet shopping, then fork out the $2.50 an hour and get a 13 year-old to watch your t.v. and eat your food! Don't bother us already busy people! I took pleasure in calling the cops on two parents who left their kids in our childrens section for 3 hours while they went and watched Kong! The kids were as sweet as hell and didn't knwo what the hell was going on! All they knew was mommy and daddy went to a movie and hadn't come back for a long long time! God I hate you assholes so much...

On a better note, Christmas is here! Well, almost, and I have got load of fuck stuff already!
I got a DS and Nintendogs from my baby

. We exchanged gifts early because he's going away to Hawaii for the holidays, sad huh? My new friend Alex bought me Tokyo Godfathers by surprise. I was shocked because I have only known him for like, 2 months? Maybe less, we're both anime/manga fanatics to we hit it off when I cussed him out almost for messing up my shelving in the Manga section. I know I'm getting the Naruto sleeping cap form my sister, I is happy with that!
I got

a present too. Last Exile the whole series. And when we opened it, one of the disks was missing so I am waiting for the return email on that! He still loves me though

I love him too.

In Media, I saw Kong...and bawled my eyes out...TWICE! I mean, you know he's gonna die (And if you don't you're an idiot) but it still hurts! I highly recommend it, even if it is 3 hours long, thank you Peter Jackson you sonnovabitch...

I can only imagine the meeting that sparked that fucking idea! It probably went a little

But let's tweek a few things! One, let's take out all the men! Americans don't like be getting in the way of their heroines, and why have them there anyway? It's not like GIRLS play these games! Two, lets take out the youngest and cutest girl in the game plot. No one wants to see cute, they want to see SEX! And finally, let's take out all the plot that makes the game what it is and just make it a punch and slash film with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon effects and NINJAS! It HAS to have NINJAS, even if there were never any in the game to begin with! ALRIGHT MEN! I want to go to that studio where they are probably still either editing or filming this piece of game to movie shit-fest and personally rip out their bottom jaws one by one with my bare hands! The life time of molestation and prison beatings will be worth it if this movie NEVER makes theaters!

YEAH! Because I didn't give a shit about them! This is my BABY! And that statement is not entirely true. Whent hey first came out with the Street Fighter movie all those years ago, I saw trouble on the horizon and I was only probably 9 or 10 at the most. I'm sure there were more after that, but I just ignored it...Until Resident Evil.

Need we as well forget Final Fantasy the Spirits Within. I DID throw up when I saw that fuck-up! No Chocobos, no magic, no me wasting $6 (remember when tickets were that low without the matenee?) for that eye sore! I lost all my faith right there.
Then came DOOM.
I never played DOOM, but my boyfriend had and he walked out of the theater wanting to vomit both from the horrible writing of the movie and butchering of the plot as well as the scene where the 'zombie doctor' slurps up the rat tail like a noodle.
Now this. Oh god! Just remembering it it burns the back of my cornias!!

Here is my oppinion on JUST what I have seen from the trailer:

1. The whole thing opens up...with ALL the girls on the steps of a temple, holding swords in the cliche'd "chick holding a katana" way as a roaring crowd of ninja run at them ready to obviousy get their asses kicked.
Now, as if all the cliches didn't get me enough, the MAIN thing that got me was...THEY ARE ALL TOGETHER TALKING LIKE THEY'RE FUCKING FRIENDS! WAKE UP PEOPLE! This isn't some pussy-chase Charlies Angels remake (or is it?)! In the game, the plot is centered, yes CENTERED around these chicks HATING one another! The only time they talk is to exchange the general word of "Bitch, you fucked up my life!", then they go at it! But nooo! Here they are all pals and fighting what I guess is "crime". Welll it's 3 am and I just got back from seeing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with my sister, boss, co-worker and my bosses room mate.
It's the best one so far! And now I get to see it again at 10pm with my boyfriend today!
Anyway...I have class in about....2 and a half hours so Vee-Vee needs Sleep sleep...

I have come to a few conclutions.
I'm not a real fangirl I guess.
I will set the record straight now.

I LIKE anime characters. Only like, I don't love, I wouldn't marry them if I could and I wouldn't 'glomp' them either. I took a few steps back to look at things in a better perspective one day and saw how some fan girls are and it scared me a little bit to think I might be like that.
I wondered why I bought yaoi and liked it and I realized flipping through the pages of my stuff that it was for the art over the pairing or sexual content. Doujinshi has really nice art.
As for the Naruto people, I relate, therefore I like. Gaara reminds me of a child I want to hug and nothing more really, I have a soft spot for kids. Kankuro reminds me of every single guy I have hung out with as a kid and there for I'm comfortable with him. I hung out with a LOT of guys as a child, girls never really caught my eye, so I'm more of a mans girl I guess we could call it. This goes for all the Naruto guys I can honestly say along with men from many other series.
Speaking of sexual. I don't like sex all that much, I think it's troublesome. And messy. Troublesome and messy. This is just me talking but in my experiance it's become more of a chore then a pleasure. It's exploited a lot (porno, erotica, playboy etc.) and I dunno. If you're going to have sex, I think you should do it right. For one, wait till you're legal, it's a lot less stress on you if you do. Two, do it with someone you love and that you know loves YOU as well, not just anyone, and make sure you're not on or under the influence of anything when you do. Three, use protection, duh. None of this, pull out or just for s second crap. Four, do it in a respectful place, like a bedroom, preferablely your own, when no ones around and you KNOW no one is gonna be around for a while. Nothing makes someone (exspecially you boys) more nervous then the thought that any minute one of your gfs/bfs parents/roommate/sibling could come through the door. Five, don't rush it, take it slow, things are better slow and relaxed.
God, I am going a fucking sex-education class right here in my blog, I should be getting paid for this.
Six, I know this is hard for some of you (again, boys) but take soem time to at least cuddle with your girl/boy afterwards, especially if you were on top. Cuddling the submissive one is a little way of saying "thanks". Tell them you love them too! That'll make them feel great.
Finally, be considerate (I'm talking to girls this time) especially if your boy/girl is new. New boys don't last that long sometimes and girls tend to get hurt easily. If you have a girl who's a virgin, boys and girls, you better make sure you do it right the first fucking time for them! Nothing is more unforgiving then ruining sex for a girl her first time! That is who we get prostitutes, nuns and republicans.
The aftermath, if the person you gave yourself to or vice versa ignores you, lose en and get someone who does care for you, because one sided love is a horrible thing to be in.
Ok, I think thats all on that subject.
