4- Cobra Triangle, basically my favorite NES game ever, was made by Rare. I never knew that before I was organizing all the cartridges and noticed it on the label and the internet agrees it's the same company that made Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.

I also have a small serious note to put in with the fluff though as I've been noticeably absent for a while. So why exactly did I walk back in the house ten minutes before 2 am?

For one, the girl who was suppose to stay second to last was sick. That was fine- I knew she migth not be in today anyway. Though I thought someone was going to be there to work for her < < The really fun part though is that the little fucker who was suppose to be closing decided he didn't fucking feel like working the shift he posted availability for and knew he had to work since last week, and he walks the fuck out of the resturant ten minutes before we're completely flooded by teenagers fresh from some school dance. You know- party of 20, party of 13, party of 12, party of 12, party of 8, every other table in the goddamn resturant. With two hosts and five servers.

For the first time since I made it I've decided not to wear my Piccolo cosplay- I don't want to spend four hours putting on and scrubbing off all of that paint right now < < So what'll I be dressing up as? You see, when I was tiny my mom made my older brother and I Ninja Turtle costumes. Awesome ones. So... I've decided to take the head, hands, feet and shell from that (because as extremeties they still fit even though I'm not six. It's not like I'm much taller). And I just purchased myself a generic black ninja costume. Add in my bokken and just the teeniest bit of alteration........ and I'm a Ninja Turtle. I consider this win.

And..... Holy shit Vel's seriosuly thinking about dancing. Really. It sounds like fun and everyone else should look about as awkward as I do there ^^ Weeee.

I've never been shopping on Christmas eve before. And we weren't just anywhere- this was downtown at the Reading Terminal Market, and it was really quite awesome. Then the decorating and more baking and fun stuff. Then Christmas, which was cool because I wasn't too sick yet and because my brother came over and whatnots. Got to see my mom's family and have some awesome food there too.

The next day however.. oh my god I coughed for two hours straight that morning and I was miserable the rest of the day. Only kinda floated in and out of the family party we had here, mostly just slept.

I'm doing better now, and now that I've got the medecine I should be back to myself and my normal schedule soon. But for now? It's bedtime. Tomorrow... tomorrow I will fight my way down to the basement and play Animal Crossing if I need to kill the boy <<

If you do not know of Gurren Lagann, go see it now. Torrent a few episodes, or tune into the SciFi channel on Monday night or borrow it from a friend or buy the sub-only dvds that were brought out before the dub was finished because there was so much demand for it. Just see it, and revel in the awesomeness.

What is it you ask? It's an anime by Gainax, about 26 episodes, and the best way to describe it would be Evangelion meets Fuli Cooli. Every episode progressively gets crazier and more epic and crazy and awesome. It's got giant robot fights, chicks with guns, more faces than you can throw a drill at, the power of love and awesome coats and hefty doses of WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM????? It's my third favorite show, below Beast Wars only because of the ridiculous amounts of nostalgia I have for that show.

-Ouch- that one's fun. I can see Satou doing pretty much what she's unded up doing in a number of short ideas- hating him and biding her time until she's strong enough to confront him about what she sees as a wrong. Btw, the precious thing here would be percieved as her mother/childhood.

10. Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.

Reedi is a very sweet young child, and Scythe actually doesn't mind her for a family member- Reedi could possibly be pulled away from her family and unable to cope on her own without support, even from someone so socially demented as Scythe.

We would totally hang out, watch tv and go hiking. Then I could ride around on his back for a while and head off to a nice steakhouse.

• Libraries and archives already have generous exemptions for their missions. However, if they believe they need expanded access to work whose authors are hard to find, we’d suggest that Congress adopt a variant of the Orphan Works clearance system in use in Canada.

Canada has created a statutory licensing scheme that allows licenses for the use of published works to be issued by the Copyright Board of Canada on behalf of unlocatable copyright owners.

The license is issued by the Canadian Copyright Board. Decisions are made on a case-by- case basis through application to the Board. If the Board is satisfied by the applicant’s efforts of e-mails, phone calls, written correspondence, approaches to copyright collectives, Internet searches, etc., then it may issue a non-exclusive license which is valid only in Canada, subject to any terms and conditions it sees fit.

Well, I've said goodbye to everybody I can think of, and if I've missed you then aih loves you too and I'll miss ya. If we could huddle the four of us together that'd be pretty awesome.

Oh yeah, speaking of cons- If it is at all godly possible, I'm going to AnimeNEXT. Brian Drummond is going to be there. I love him so much it's ridiculous. If I can get to think him for his awesomeness and get him to sign my daizenshuu #2, that.. would be awesome. Then I just need Ian Corlette and I've got my Ocean Group trio of ultimate love. I think I'd wanna get Peter Kelamis too, even though he was only in Dead Zone I freaking love what he did in Dead Zone and it makes me grin like a nut. And as for Ian, I'd geek out like a nut for him because of Cheetor too. I love that little guy almost as much as I love Dinobot. Which is, to say, a lot. Ooooooh my god Ocean Group. DBZ and Beast Wars being the two coolest shows ever... I like them a lot.

And on to away time. I was up packing till maybe 6am last night, and tonight I'll be hanging out in a hotel room with the family. After that I'm likley to be caught up with family for a little while and then I'll phase back to normal online scheduling till I end up getting a job. More or less normal scheduling- 5am's now gonna be my cap time > > Not like the last three weeks, where I've just been fucking crazy. My scanner isn't working. I can print and copy, but when i try to scan it tells me "what, you have a scanner? Where is this scanner? No... that's not good enough."

So I'm more or less fucked until I can figure out what's going on. Downloading the drivers from the site doesn't work, neither do any of the other things I've tried. I'm kinda pissed.

I cannon explain just how bloody happy this makes me. For years, ever since Dreams and Ratal, I have wanted just such an image- to show me what the hell these freaking people look like. General proportions, shapes, angles! 'How-the-hell-do-you-draw-me's! And I found one buried in the fansite pack on the SC2.com page, and it's such a glorious thing to now finally know just all these little simple things that have been driving me crazy forever. And even better, judging by the cropped nerve bundles this particular guy is a Dark Templar. One of my babies. I am happy.

Other news! Nothing! Homework, some art inbetween to keep me same, and listening to Matchbox and Semi. Mah back hurts. Now I must leave the internets and do more homework, but expect me to be posting some more stuff soon, you wonderful people who actually read my journals. Silly and serious and pretty, and hopefully some finally decent Protoss.

We all know the scene in early DBZ where Pic and Gohan are by the campfire- Gohan's asleep, and Pic reaches out tentatively and brushes the kid's hair. It's really sweet and I intended to show it to my roomie today because she's never seen it before.

But for the life of me, I cannot find it!

I remembered it being around the scene at the campfire where in the dub Gohan asks about his birthday party and Pic snarls at him. But I've run through that entire episode and the one after it twice, and it just isn't there! I know I didn't FF too fast, because the second time I sat there at just double speed and watched that whole scene on normal.... but nothing. It ends, and it isn't there.

Can anyone point me at where exactly it should be? I'm running on the old Pioneer DVDs, and I know they can't have cut that scene because I remember watching it o_O

Help meeeeeeeee.

Allo everybody!

I have playlists for all of my characters, music that reminds me of them through the lyrics and the sounds and the whatnot. Recently I have tried to make one for Pic... but I could only find about 20, and many of those are tentative at best. So I could use your help!

If anybody knows songs that remind them of the big lug, post the titles/artists here so I can look them up. If you actually have the file that would be even better. This playlist in particular is actually Pic and Gohan, however you take their relationship, so stuff that works for both of them would be especially good. Hell, even stuff that's just for Gohan.

Saw the funniest damn thing on the way to lunch- there’s two mail trucks, a Fedex and a UPS that pull up to the parking circle- Fedex guy parks on the side and UPS guy on the middle. They both come out at the same time heading in and the Fedex guy starts joshing the UPS guy about it. The other guy goes back at him and this goes on for like a minute while they’re walking. It was hysterical to see ^^

BAND TO UNVEIL SONGS FROM UPCOMING ALBUM 'ZEITGEIST'



THE SMASHING PUMPKINS are excited to announce their first live performance since December 2, 2000 - a very special and intimate theatre show to take place May 22 in Paris, France at the historic and elegantly appointed Grand Rex. Tickets will go on sale April 11.

This marks the first time The Smashing Pumpkins will unveil songs from the upcoming ZEITGEIST (Martha's Music/Reprise), their sixth album and first of new material since 2000's Machina/The Machines of God and the free, digital-only release Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music. ZEITGEIST was produced by Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin, with Roy Thomas Baker and Terry Date working separately on various tracks, and represents the culmination of two years of work.

After the Paris show, The Smashing Pumpkins will headline major European festivals from May 28 at Holland’s Pinkpop festival through June 17 at Switzerland’s Greenfield Festival, returning to England August 24 (Leeds Festival) and August 26 (Reading Festival). Stay tuned for more information about North American tour dates beyond the V Festivals confirmed in Washington, DC (August 5) and Toronto, ONT (September 8).

I very rarely do group pictures. They're a pain in the ass, they're exhausting and maddening. I got it into my head despite all of this that I wanted to try to do a group shot of the whole Daimou clan across the fandom Except Piccolos and their children- that's just too damn much to ask of any one person o_o Piccolos with extended family don't tend to like them anyway, so there's my excuse.

Most of the names here that I wouldn't know off the bat were gathered from going through my folder of art from you people and picking them out. It's far from complete, and I know I'm probably missing some very important people and kids. And heights. Love of god, tell me how tall these people are or I'm making it up myself.

That's where you guys come in! I know somebody here should be able to help me out. Remember, no Piccolos or his kids. But if you've got somebody else who's a Daimaou and can provide me a reference, their height and a little explanation as to who they are and what they're like they'll probably work their way in there as well. Kids, cousins, if I don't know them just give me a ref and an explanation. No mates/wives/husbands, just blood relations- Himegami's the exception because she's just plain awesome. Kids will most likely be drawn as kids, despite their age differences, because these are all crazy AUs and wouldn't connect enough to make sense in a timeline anyway.

NOTE- I won't guarantee this'll get done. Homework may bite me in the ass, I may throw it through a window after battling thumbnails for an hour. If I get any of it done I'll post whatever the final product is.

Otherwise I've done not much, besides the wonderful respite of the Everclear concert over the weekend. Lifesaver (they played Sunflowers. That made my day.). Bad because... I don't have my computer for the next week.
But good because I should be doing my fat load of homework anyway.

Basically I won't be online this week because I have too much else to do and I can't access my files anyway. I might get back on after that, but on the 17th I'm heading down to AnimeUSA for con (love!) and it won't be till Sunday night that I get home. Online time fluxuates a lot more when I'm home so I can't say for certian when I'll be on Thanksgiving break. Once it's over I'll be back again, yaay.

Oh yeah, today is Oboe's brthday, she's 7. Booyah. Maybe I'll have a piece for her up when I can scan again... if I can draw a decent picture of her. Reedi kinda kidnapped her and Via's spots in... everything o_o

I just got my auction for two new doujins ^__^ First one I read was my first Head Cha La, and I plan to pick up more as I find them at good prices. It's uncanny how well they catch Toriyama's style, right to the freakouts and the folds and the sets.

The other one though... I'm absolutely in love with. It's over 200 pages and I'm not even half through it's tossing me full back into need for the fandom. It's got Neru in it. It's an ACT book. And most of it's pretty. And it makes me love P-Gh even more than I did before. I'm so immensly happy with this book!!!

Um, otherwise I'm going home soon! Which makes me happier. And then I'm gonna see Live with my best friend. And then I hope to get to see my other best friend and talk more to my chickas and squeal. I'm so very happy right now. Yaaaay...

I've decided I'm not going to see V for Vendetta. The more I read about it, the more I realize that it's just not going to be worth it with all the changes that've been made. And after finishing Watchmen for the second time I remembered two things- I can only pray they don't make a movie out of it, and I absolutely love Rorschach. Muahha.

I do in fact like elevator music.

I can sit and listen to the same song for hours.

There’s just something beautiful about sitting up at night, looking out the window and watching the world sleep.

I hate the cold but I love snow.

I like the idea of being a vegetarian but I don’t really like most vegetables.

I like to stockpile strange books that cost very little so that I always have something new to read.

I carry paper and pens with me everywhere- three pens, because if you just have one it’s almost guaranteed to run out on you.

I hate soda, coffee and tea, although I love the smell of coffee.

I always say goodbye to people before I leave, it’s one of my main sticking points.

Seeing fish is a big deal for me. When I was little the creeks only even had abandoned goldfish in them because the water quality was so bad. So I’ve always gotten excited when I do see a stream or river that’s actually inhabited.

I have the same online name everywhere- except Yahoo, because Yahoo is evil. The name wasn't taken but they wouldn't let me have it.

The most beautiful place in the world in an open field on late summer afternoons when only the wind is there to walk beside you.

Cereal counts as snackfood. I eat it like candy.

I despise the phrase ‘lol’ with a passion and have never once used it.

I always sleep with plushies under my pillow or in my arms.

Blue was my first favorite color, then my brother complained because he liked blue and I changed it to yellow. Then I started watching DBZ and changed it to green.

Soo... I have much homework that needs doing this week. Got a painting to work more on Thursday, gotta buy myself some tissues because it's getting cold and thus the campus is getting sick, and I've gotta get finishing some art pieces for people and me and whatnot.

I'm heading to AnimeUSA on the 18th! I'll be cosplaying Pic as always, going back to facepaint because although the acryllic looked good it drove me nuts. unfortunately this means I won't be seeing Harry when it comes out But Harry shall wait for me. Con first, and then I get to go home! *partyparty* I'm so excited, I miss it muchly. Hopefully I'll get to see my Melly and Vicci and some other people. I'll be back at school.. at the general Thanksgiving break-end time. Don't feel like looking up, it's late. And I could use some sleep. Hope the load eases so I can finish the damn Lost Desert plot before they close it- I've followed it this long, I am so not getting left behind now. (Ignore that ramble if you have no idea what I'm talking about...)

And what's with the 80 views and one comment thing? Usually I refuse to bitch about comments, but 80 is a fucking lot of people with nothing to say. Usually I get a shitload less views but I get two comments. Kick me if you like, I'm just not very happy right now. -Seriously. What is people's problems with commening. Usually I resign myself to it and just move on but 92=1 is just something that really pisses me off.
