Large Entry


I've been too much into World of Warcraft recently)
My boyfriend and I have joined the official russian realm called "Vechnaya Pesnya" which is Eversong in english. Well, our acquaintance with WoW was made about a year and a half or a couple of years ago - he already had a good internet connection (mm, what's that type in english? a dedicated line?) and I was still using GPRS. We spent some time dreaming of what classes and races we'll choose and due to my disability to join a normal server, my bf (Laiq is his nick btw) being an IT type, downloaded mysqels and everything needed and established a server at my home pc)))
I know it's WEIRD to play MMORPG at a home server with only TWO PCs connected and 2 players... but it was a real fun))) The bases were playable, but nothing more) Many things didn't work - like portals, but being an administrator gives you a variety of opportunities that make some things unnecessary, e.g. you can teleport to any ingame point.
But soon enough I finaly got connected and started playing at Across WoW server. Across is a local organisation with gameservers (Lienage, WoW, COD4, Stalker and so on) and different entertaining projects. They'd be much greater if they finished all planned things))
So.. the Across server had at first x10 XP rates, coz the main purpose was to test and debug high-level instances, battle grounds and arena. It's a freeshard with mangos database.. quite rough.. so you could be disconnected up to 10 times an hour in an unlucky day. Everybody knew each other, cheered and shared stuff - well, the same things as for a little town) And you could spend much time levelling with guild members and then going out together with them) Fun)
Furthermore Laiq and I were GMs (game masters, not guild ones XP) there, I won't tell out how he made it - did a right thing in right place and time and had enough relationship and respect to be a GM, I adore him) And he asked the admin to meke me a gm too coz we played together and it was the time when the number of players online was limited, so you had to wait for half an hour or more to get online. And being a GM surely lets you in with no problem) GMs at Across couldnt add items or XP, but could teleport to anywhere, that made playing even more easy.
Another great thing that meant a lot to me on Across was an Auction Man bot XD It's a bot who puts different items on the auction and stimulates players to do the same) Very useful on a small server with under 100 online users. Yet on an official server it's better to keep economics the way players make it.
About the races & characters.
My love is my main Across Character DivineShadow. She's a warlock 70, with A2 and T6 full sets (got half of t6 from bosses and the other half and A2 and many other useful stuff when the admin turned gm's ability to add items on XD) Blood Elves are really great.. both male and female. I can't play an ugly character unless it's for fun.. so I could never choose an ork m/f for example. BE is just the right choice)) And they have my favourite class, Warlock!)
I tried many classes - hunters are great due to their pets, paladins are just universal - both healer and tank and buffer and a bit of caster..Priests are difficult to level but they are needed everywhere in PvE - there's always not enough healers in looking for group channel. So I started a Night elf priest, now it's 18lvl - I quit playing it coz it was not considered to be main. Warlocks are main. I spotted this class out as far back as I first thought whether to try Wow or not, while discussing with laiq which class to choose (his favourites are mages due to being DD and hunters because of their pets).
It was a long time I played warlocks, I tried many builds and still couldn't find my own style. It seems to me that recently I came nearer to what my style will be. The most important stats for a lock are intellect and stamina. In arena sets you've got to choose which one means more to you. And for me this will for sure be Stamina. Although dealing a lot of damage is cool, my tactics would probably be something close to drain-tanking, as I love to see my HP bar green. What's the point of having a lot of mana if you get killed while casting your great dd spells? My fav pet is Voidwalker, the reason is the same. I'd better take time and be safe then rush and dd and make all mobs beat me not my pet due to higher threat.

The classes I never choose are Warrior (i guess you understand why), Druid (i'm for the Horde (so no nightelves) and Cows are pretty but not my type)and Shaman (never been interested in them - although made a Draenei girl lvl13 sham recently). I tried a Rogue, it was ok but seemed complicated. 4. When I'm done I give you a small sample image
5. And after you pay the rest I give you the full-resolution JPG image.
*it's up to you to pay all in advance, that will probably encourage me to work faster.
