Christmas with the family was nice. Lots of foods too. Then some of my high school classmates came into our house, disturbed my sleep and solicited me for a high school reunion. It has only been six years and they're already throwing out a reunion. Better now than later I guess. We held it at the President's house. Class of '02 was there, both sections but not all students. Some are married and have kids, some have kids but no spouse, others had passed away, some couldn't come because they were abroad and some just did not want to come. Party was awesome too, most friends were there. Our team won the beer drinking contest thanks to yours truly. There was bingo too. It was nice seeing the class again. I also noticed that most of them changed only a little bit. They were still the same mass, same voice, same everything. They were surprised when they saw me with my hair all long and pony tailed and gained some weight. I also noticed that only me and Chester were the only ones whose minds matured in an increasing rate since college. Then there was more drinking. I don't drink very often but when I do, I chug like there's no tomorrow. Of course, I sang some songs too. Another Brick In The Wall, they didn't know it hehe. Nice seeing you again guys, keep it alive!

New Year! I bought no fireworks, time to be practical. Barbikyu at the terrace was fun. The smoke doubled too with the fireworks and our grill. The corn boys at the sash factory rode in our streets with their top-down tricycle with a couple of empty biscuit cans tied at the rear. New year in our baryo was awesome! As for the whole world, I just wish things would get better this year and beyond.

Now that 2oo9 is here, my new year resolution can be summed up into one song:

I can read Gravedigger without ever going to the office or the nearby internet shop. Work resumes on January 5, but until then, I'll be sneaking around looking for a new job (mental patient laugh). I'll have lots of time for myself which is good and sucky at the same time. Good because I have more time to draw and sucky because I have no one to spend me "Christmas" and "2009 Celebration" with. Yes I have the whole family but I meant someone else, she could be anyone I guess. I haven't gone to the roman katolik cherch since high school now and still not thinking of doing so. Our town plaza looks way livelier now than in the past years, cool air, windy breeze, the lights and parols (lanterns) bring the nostalgic bear brand milk feeling. At least them politicians did something good for a change. I'm also very thankful to all those who commented and collected me uncolored drawrings.

I feel that a song is coming again, ~alone again, naturally~ ho ho ho. Anyway, you're all welcome to drop by our house and stuff yourself with ground meat, makaroni, pudding, kalame (rice cakes/kalamay), ale ubi (sweet potato pudding), turnips with dead spiders inside (kidding), bejis (vegetabols), cholesterol filled barbikyus, and sardinas for those of you who are health conshoes. I'm not sure yet if me and my pal living nextdoor are going to buy some fireworks, I know it's a total waste of money because like what my grandmader used to say, "Fireworks exploding is like money burning." Granny has a point, but then again, stubborn little bastard I am. Well, that's it for the update. Time to grab my old guitar and play you all a tune or two. This is Ben David, signing out. Looks like I'm on the stage again where, like what everyone else (almost everyone, specially here on DA) has gone through in some point of their lives. Finding a job. I just made a decision which could be the best or perhaps the dumbest thing I ever did. Anyway, there's no harm in trying as they say AND you'll never know if you haven't at least tried. That decision was sending an application to a big international company. Tomorrow I'm going to apply to another establishment here in my district and another at the Clark airbase. Whichever calls me first I guess, but as soon as I get the call for an interview for that big international company, I'll be leavin' with ma tail a-wagglin'! Staying with my current job would be an intellectual suicide, mostly on the artistic side of my brain, so got to move me arse while I still can. If all else fails, there's always SOLIMAN E.C. (Pozo Negro) Septic Tank Disposal as the last resort. Guess I'll be cleaning your septic tanks pretty soon! HO HO HO!!!

Ikinagagalak ng pusu kong puno ng cholesterol na makita ang mga kababayan kong ubod ng talentado dito sa DA! At dun sa mga karatig bansa natin dito sa Southeast Asia, dana man dami rin jeproks na magagaling na artists, hanep! Busy At Home:

Got to finish this one. It's gonna be my flagship in this new field that I've chosen. Till then, it's top secret. I just hope I finish it before November ends. Then off to find my "real" job or start my own business. DA still isn't working at home. That explains why I can't even see the new deviations, I can't even reply on the comments. So to the new visitors, those who watch me, and those who comment and fave me "works" thanks a whole bunch! It's gonna be some time before I can be a regular deviant again. God I hate my job.

Does livestock count as pets? We used to raise pigs and ducks but got banned by our fucking neighbor coz of the stench. I had 3 dogs in the past, I feel sorry for Rambo coz he was so old that he couldn't go on anymore so we ate him. His other eye was blind. Now I have a pitbull/native hybrid named Braks, he's pretty much useless.

Nope.

A painter but times change you know.

On to serious business, this month I'll be concentrating on Two Paths artwork coz there's just lotsa imaginary stuff aching to be taken outta my head and into paper, and that means going home earlier than usual bwahaha fuck work for now! VonTalavang was right, art first, thanks man! I got lotsa plans for the future and I pray that it's gonna work out. So that's all for this little journal of mine, and if a slow-ass reader like me could finish the whole Two Paths novel, I don't see any reason why you can't, so enjoy the novel and check out his other works! There's concept arts to be done and some original art too. Plus I just bought a new second hand 15" lcd monitor and laid my old crt to rest. It's a bit pricey for a second hand coming at approximately $116 coz I'm pretty easy to rip off, even a 3rd grader can do it.

Then there's going to the dentist anytime this month for the first time in my life to have my teeth cleaned since I have enough money for my hygiene now. Applying for a Paypal account is a plus too. So right now I'm pretty much on a strict budgeting plan. I feel a song coming along... From green to red our days pass by waiting for a sign to tell us why, are we dancing all alone? Collect some stars to shine for you and start today coz they're only a few, a sign of times my friend!!!

I'm on an inspired but procrastinated state right now, pretty soon I'll be shredding my pen tablet. My new playlist just gave me a good dose of bitchin' inspiration, on my way to work I had stuff forming inside my brain and tonight I'll face the pc battle ready. Been raging to do new art, coz these brave deviants are pumpin' out works while I'm just wasting away precious time playing those online games, I knew I never should've started playing again. Now on to business, enough playing Cabal Online for a while and do some art, and time to get some more sleep and be thrifty with cuarta. It seems I've been missin' out a lot on DA and Friendster and with my love life, wait a tick, scratch the last one, being single again is somewhat nice, like Mr. Powers used to say with his batuta dangling around. Cue in the quirky dancable soundtrack!

I hate work, conceptart.org has lotsa job offers, some are good, some not so good and others, well like nyaeh... Been thinking about investing my hard earned cuarta on something but I still can't find the right opportunity, well maybe I had but I must've been an indecisive prick over and over again that's why I still have nothing, damn! Oh well, no shirt, no shoes, no problem!

Things to inspire me by: Two Paths Artwork, Original Artwork, Arting Around With Red Hiney and My Metal Music. Meeting fellow metalheads would be nice too, and buying meself an ESP and learning to solo faster will be more than worth my salary and my time. As they say, birds of the same feather are the same birds. So here I go again, come on misery! Give daddy a new pair of shoes!

I just finished last night the concept armor for one of the Inankine Sisters and I'm quite pleased even though it didn't exactly follow the description in the story mostly because half of my brain tells me to color it the way I want it and the other half tells me to do it the way it is in the story and that makes me a bit of an indecisive prick (thanks Yahtzee) but at least I got something done in ages. Now I can stay true to my sig and stop bitchin' about getting some sleep. That said, I need some rest and in the following days hopefully get more art done. Good day y'all!

Who knew that a writer here on DA was also thinking of what I was visualizing and not only that but he already made it into a very engaging story?! I was wondering why he added my Battle Nun Costumes Concept Art and when I visited his gallery I was surprised at the novel "Two Paths" and got instantly hooked to it coz it fits damn well the comments on my Battle Nun Concepts!

Please check out *Memnalar and read his Two Paths story. I'm very humbled by the flow of the events, it's like we were thinking of the same thing! WOW! I won't spoil anything so you can find out for yourself what I'm talking about. Peace!
