I posted a new deviation around V-day...

I bought Super Smash Bros. Brawl...
as well as Army of Two, CoD4, and some other stuff for my DS...

I bought an old plastic grey gameboy off of eBay and it doesn't work... looks like the batteries exploded inside of it, and the inside is all corroded...

I should try bidding on a different one soon... I actually saw one that looked in pretty good condition... so hopefully that will work...

in other news: I posted up a new video blog kinda thing... for anybody who follows my exploits there...
it isn't exactly a full video blog... but it's something like that...

i'll probobly try to make one every month... but who knows how that'll turn out...

Now, we're slowly creeping up on the xmas of 2007, and i'm just coming back?
oh well... lol

speaking of creeping, it's beginning to be one of my favorite times of the year...
halloween time!
a beautifully evil day if I ever saw one... and not only that, but we've also got thanksgiving right after, and black friday... and you guys all know what black friday means, right?
a shitload of new and awesome video games being released in the months beforehand...
and many that i'm looking foward to, this year...

In October, we have Sega Rally: Revo, Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, (which both just came out earlier this week...) Beautiful Katamari, Phoenix Wright 3, Guitar Hero 3, The Simpsons Game, Virtua Fighter 5, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, and Manhunt 2 (even though it's been censored to hell)...

In November we have Call of Duty 4, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil: Umbrella Cronicles, Army of Two, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and to top it all off, we have a nice dose of ROCK BAND on thanksgiving day!!

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I AM FOR ROCK BAND!!
my number one game out of this entire list...

keeping on the subject of video games, earlier today I went out and bought a new DS Lite... for a few reasons...

1) the L + R buttons on my old one were so incredibly broken
2) I liked the new design
and
3) I lost my old one at work, and since it was broken, i really didn't care to find it...

so, I decided to get a bundle that came with a Crimson/Black DS Lite, Brain Age 2, and a nice little carrying case...
along with it, I just HAD to pick up Zelda: Phantom Hourglass... because, well, it's a must-own!

and I figured i'd pick out a 360 game, since i'm addicted to Achievement points (tee hee)... they were sold out of The Orange Box, so I picked up John Woo's Stranglehold instead...
i'll pick up the Orange Box next tuesday when i go to pick up Beautiful Katamari...

anyways, i'm kinda rambling now...

Anyways! the main topic of this journal entry is about my flash series that i've been working on.

It has now officially reached a new step... I finished the full script for episode 1!! Yes, that's right, not a short, but an actual episode, which actually introduces some of the characters, and gives us a bit of plot, while still having that craziness that fans of Mezzo-Pazzo (all 2 of them...) have come to expect...

I am extremely satisfied with the script, and I will soon be having a recording session with my friends to record lines, don't expect the actual episode for a while, though...

I might actually buckle down and finish Short #3, which i've been putting off for the longest time now, my procrastinating self...

It'll probobly be easier with my new widescreen monitor that I got for Xmas... I love the resolution on this thing...

other that that, i'd just like to say Merry Xmas to everybody, and if you celebrate a different holiday, then Merry Other Holiday to you!

Milly(12) weould cry, because her series never got released, but both 2 and 7 would try to comfert her.

Fubu Man(10) would be all like "bring it on!", but Sydney(3) would probboly kick his ass... she can kill mass amounts of zombies, you know?

Mr. Wang(8) would use his ninja skills to sneak in to Oreko's(1) house and retrieve the item. Oreko(1) is so stupid he probobly didn't even realise he stole it.

as for this stuff, I have a few updates to announce... I am officially going to Briarcliffe college now, and majoring in Graphic Design, I just started about a week ago, and so far i'm enjoying it... i'll most likely be posting up lots of the graphics assignments that I do in my graphics classes there, so be sure to look out for that...

that being said, I will definitely have less time for my animations now, with school and all, so, yeah... i'm not really sure how much time i'll actually have...

one last matter of business before we get into the contest is the fact that I created a Youtube video blog! oh snap! so, you guys can go check that out, just goto youtube and search for "vigorousjammer" and all of my movies should pop up...

I'm talking about the return of me using Flash to make movies, lol

There was a point there, for a long time when I stopped using Flash altogether...
yeah, sure, I would whip it out a few times to do some quick drawings... but I never really used Flash like I used to... until just yesterday!

Now, I am back to making movies in Flash, and using it frequently... I really have gotten a bit rusty, to tell you the truth...
but, I haven't decreased in quality THAT MUCH...

now, as for the whole "Waffle Link" in the title... This is also of importantce, and you should know it... I have just drawn a fanart of a character called Waffle Link and posted it up for everybody to view...

I'm officially 18 now, and, well... I was yesterday... since that was my birthday...
and this is my post-birthday... journal... update... thing...

Ok, so, first things first... I got a digital camera... a nice one... and, even though it's small... it's powerful

I'll probobly be posting up some stuff in the photography section, so look out for that stuff

Also, it seems nobody wants to partake in the drawing race in my previous journal update... kinda sad... I wanted to draw some stuff for people...


Now, a few things that I should mention here:

1.) Production on Project Intuition has been going slowly... but... it's not dead yet...

2.) If anybody remembered from a while ago, me and my online buddy Mike (a.k.a Worldsk8er6785), have started up work on the Headfirst For Halos animation that we started so long ago... so far, production has been going steady on that, and we should get it finished this time... but nothing is for certain...

3.) I bet a lot of you Mezzo-Pazzo fans (please tell me I have a fanbase, lol, I actually doubt it) are wondering where the next short movie is, and when it's coming out!! well, I can't tell you when it's coming out, but I can tell you that work had started on it a long time ago... and I may soon begin work on it again, if I can muster up enough strength to do the next part of the animation, which is really tough, and I don't feel like doing it, haha...

4.) Some of you might remember the Supermarket Background that I did a while ago, and are wondering where the animation is... well, as it is, the animation for the supermarket background is on hold, and it really, really, complicated... and over my head at this point, haha... I'll resume work on it once I finish work on some of my other projects.

so, for now, you'll have some animations from me to look foward to, as well as some drawings, and now even some photos.. and not ones that were taken with my camera phone, lol

ok, so, remember how I said I started drawing something on drawball.com and then I gave you that link... well, yeah... that link is crap now, cause my drawing got destoryed by assholes, and I moved out of that place, since I couldn't keep up with the repairs to my guy...

so far there's only been one loser drawing stupid shit over my drawing... but it's not anything big, and I can repair them all, just remember, if you see any vandalism on my art, just ignore it... I hope somebody from drawball gets around to protecting this soon, cause I'm getting kind of sick of repairing it every day!

Now, onto other stuff... E3... was it fucking awesome? ummm... hell yes! I didn't go, but it was even awesome just from sitting there in the comfort of my computer chair and watching the videos online...

First noteable thing... the Nintendo Wii...
Is it fucking amazing? yes. Will it make anybody piss thier pants with excitement? I think so. will it reinvent gaming as we know it for the better? of corse it will.
seriously, if you haven't seen the nintendo press conference, google it and watch the video there... it'll be the best hour(or so) of your life!

Second noteable thing... Dead Rising...
Dead Rising... it's a zombie game... it takes place in a mall... it's loosely based off of the same idea of dawn of the dead... and it's going to kick major ass...
There's so many features in this game, and the atmosphere is going to be amazing, with hundreds and hundreds of zombies on screen at the same time!
Every item that you pick up is going to be able to be used as a weapon.
You can also dress your character up in normal or wacky costumes... for example, you can dress your guy up in a tuxedo, or a t-shirt and jeans, or in a fairy costume, or a pimp with a teddy bear mascot's head, any clothes that you can find in the mall you can pick up and wear.
Anything thats in the mall that you can find, that your character is strong enough to pick up... you can use... theres also food that you can cook and eat if you can find it... although some of the food may have went bad, so you better check the experation date.
You're also a photographer, so you can take pictures of anything you want, and it gets rated and... like, the game just seems so fucking awesome!

Third noteable thing... exclusive titles...
Halo 3 was announced as an exclusive title for XBOX360 and a trailer was released... and so far it looks pretty cool... pretty much, it's going to sell no matter what, and it's going to be another kickass FPS... theres not much to really talk about here.
MGS: Guns of The Patriots was announced as an exclusive title for the PS3 and another trailer was released... uhhh... actually, i'm not getting a ps3 cause of that huge 600 dollar price point, so I didn't even bother taking a look at this, no matter how badass it's probobly going to be.
Super Smash Bros Brawl was announced as an exclusive title for the Wii and a trailer was released... it's going to have Solid Snake in it... so thats gonna be pretty cool, I guess... it's also gonna have Wario, Metaknight (from the kirby series), and PIT (whoever the fuck that is) The game itself, I can't say much about, cause I haven't seen the gameplay in action just yet, but knowing the smash bros. series, i'm sure it'll be fucking awesome!

Fourth Noteable thing... GTA IV...
Grand Theft Auto 4 has been announced! Finally! A next-gen outing of GTA will be coming! This time around, it's not going to be exclusive to the Playstation anymore... now we've got both the PS3 and the XBOX360 version coming out at the same time, and thats pretty kickass. They haven't released any screenshots or videos or anything... but they have released a release date... all the way in fuckin' october... 2007!! October 17, 2007... so I guess we'll be waiting quite a while now...

Pretty much, I don't care about most of the other stuff at E3 besides that... and I'm very much anticipating the release of the Wii.

As for other stuff, i've been slacking off on animation recently, it's the whole combonation of schoolwork and video games, and E3 coverage... but i'll get back to it soon enough...

and don't forget, theres a limited amount of ink, so don't waste it... also, theres a small puzzle you have to figure out before you can draw... the puzze is kinda tough at first, but just remember you have to use the points more than once, and if you start on one of the bottom corners and goto the other one, then go up, you should have no trouble figuring it out from there...

anyways, onto other news... I am now going to be taking a pageview request for every 100 pageviews that I get... until I get to 1000 pageviews, then i'll change it up...
So that means if you get the 300th page view, then you get to request a drawing from me! it can be anything you want, it doesn't matter... but it has to be a drawing, can't be an animation or a photo or something...

I've also been working on a short animated movie that uses the Supermarket Background that I drew... and well, to be honest, production is going slow... but you know what they say... "slow and steady wins the race" and I really belive that the more time I take on a production, then better it will become, so i'm goign to take more time on that random short than any other flash movie i've produced so far... you can all look foward to it in the distant future...

As for the Journey of a Nickel collab... that's been in production since late 2005... with people dropping out and delays out the ying-yang... so who really knows when that's coming out? all I know is that theres only 1 part left to be completed, and I assume it's being worked on right now...

I just released a new installation of the online comic Made for the The System Wars Union, "Mercs 4 Hire" ...it's been dead for a while now, since I haven't been to the system wars union (or, well, back then it was known as "The Garden of Gods") in a while... mostly because the Gamespot forums were way too buggy to my liking after they remade thier site...

But after a while, they fixed the bugs, and today, I don't get hassled by bugs on thier forums anymore... and i'm back and posting a bit now in The System Wars Union... I'll most likely be making more new installations of Mercs 4 Hire every now and then... so be sure to look out for them, and also check out the new one that was just posted up if you haven't already...

Next, I'm currently working on a new devart ID that has a lot of my characters in it, even some that haven't been released yet, or some that have been in my comic books that I used to make before I ever even signed up on Deviantart... including some character designs I made for my "Crazy Joe: Atomic Edition" comics...

People who went to middle school with me are very familiar with that name "Crazy Joe" ... and as I look back on the old comics I begin to notice that there was some seriosuly great, funny material in there... maybe it's just cause I wasn't as educated back then, so I didn't stress varied plotlines and relied more on good humor... or maybe it's just cause I was fuckin' crazy as hell back then and not sane like I am now... anyways, I seriosuly gotta figure out that formula for success and create some really funny scripts for Mezzo-Pazzo... or something...
