Adjusting to living with someone in a relationship rather than just a roomate situation has been a little wonkey in terms of time for my hobbies, though I expect that to change somewhat with the move. There are trips planned for this summer to the japanese gardens and the St. Louis zoo again, so there will be more photography then, and I hope to pick up my drawing work again (I have the wacom, I should use it).

- back working on updating DA Digital. The new member submissions were getting a bit out of hand, so now they're being ok. Soon will come a call for all members to upload. That's gonna be a fun time.

- Path of the Hunt will not be updated until next week. Shame on me for falling behind, but them's the breaks.

- Photography inspiration is mild, but present. Rains have made everything budding and green. Maybe I'l go shooting on sunday or monday.

- Drawing? What's that? I mean to do some more stuff, really. Prolly more TCP drawings, as my creativity is at nil.

-Doll 3 is made but unadored - the body is stuffed and sewn, now, I need to add all the decor. Unfortuniatly, given the nature of the dolls, I try to work on them only when I am full of fondess or love for the person who is to be getting it - chock 'em full of positive energy to counteract the negative energy they are designed to take - and I haven't been feeling the fondness and love I need for the doll's intended. Maybe I'l start doll 4.

- At least one ink in the future, prolly more. i like doing those.

You know, the little wooden people. The joints and hands and feet are normal wood color, but the head, chest, pelvis, arms and legs are painted black. I'm trying hard to resist the urge to deface the thing by painting a skull, veve, and other designs on the black parts. Apparently there is a second, all wood one coming still.

Defacing presents is bad!

Since I know I won't hit 10k views by the first of the year, I changed my goal to hit 9500 by then, which I did, so go me.

Next on the list is further culling, then deleting from the scraps I think. My gallery is just too damned big.

maybe some more drawings in the future. We'll see.

PS - I judge a pictures worth (and worthiness to remain in-gallery) 9 times out of 10 on the number of full-views it gets. If something is worth my time to look at, then it is worth my time to full view. So please, if you like something I do, look at it fullview. At least click on it to let it regester the view, even if you just go back right away and don't let it load. I cull most heavily from the back half of the gallery - that full view tally pushes a picture up further in the rankings, so to speak. Some pictures remain because I personally like them a lot regardless of what everyone else thinks, but for most of em, I like to keep what people like to see.

Meh. To scraps.


I figured out something for the onewordphoto Space contest - inspired by an older piece that I hope I can make cool with reshooting.

Coloring pg 1 of the comic slowly - using the mouse for too long (as in, coloring for 5 hour stretches or whatever) raises hell on my wrist. For ever day of intense coloring I need two or so days of rest from it.

Oh well. Doubt its gonna turn out badass anyways.

No pictures pending. Been doing a sketch or two but the logistics aren't working out the designer-in-my-head refuses to listen to reason. So yeah. Just another day at the races.

Edit: lack of comments on the plans make me hesitent, but then, it is in-progress. So, here's hoping that by this time next week page 1 is done.

Our regularly schedualed updating will resume on Monday.

Not many more fall shots this year, aside from what I have already waiting - massive winds have picked most of the trees (and ivy) clean. Soooo.... time to prep for 30,000 winter shots, I guess. Huzzah!

Bought a sketchbook expressly for comic use - Path of the Hunt's prologue will be storyboarded and done as a trial run of sorts before starting Aah Sharath. Fear my mediocre skill!
