I have a fairly serious issue; I go to a doctor. The doctor questions me brutally, ignores major information and later tries to poison me with medications that could lame a horse.
I finally get to a specialist.
At first, Specialist seems to pay attention. Does all the reccomended diagnostics.
Gives me a bottle of pills and tells me she hopes that it isn't a serious issue; does not do a follow up.
Now on a suspicion, I quit the pills she gave me and realized I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE. I just don't NOTICE it with the stupid pills.
It took me 4-5 goddamn MONTHS to get anyone in the medical field to BELIEVE ME
and now that they've ascertained that something's wrong, they are IGNORING ME

HEALTHCARE: A MUSICAL
In which I pour money,t ime and stress into professionals hoping they will suck it the fuck up and treat my illnesses instead of getting huffy when I disagree with them and insist that they are "right and, "really now, I'm the doctor, what do you know?"

It seems that all doctors respond to being asked for medical help with a hearty, "HO HO! Expect medical treatment from ME, do you?" before bouncing up and down theatrically, making revving noises with their lips and sprinting out the door whilst leaving a gleaming trail of ineffectual prescriptions in their wake.

I always cross myself when a hearse passes by. I'm not all that religious or anything, but I think that it's terrible luck to be passed by them. So are peacock feathers.

I am severely interested in the aesthetics of ponyplay (If you don't know what it is, then proceed with caution). I'm not sure about the activities themselves, but the gear and outfits are fantastic unto me. Same with other S&M gear.

.::.three.::.
One of my absolute favorite bands is Hanson. This is largely :iconpirate-riotgrrl:'s fault; why I love them so much kills me inside. But I cannot help it; I do.

.::.four.::.
I chew on things, particularly when I'm nervous. There are scars all over my knuckles and fingesr from biting through to the cartilage. I had a little doll made me to chew on, but the hospital ER stole it from me.

.::.five.::.
I've got over 17 cavities, and have already had three root-canals done, with more coming. I'm terrified of dentists, and have the suspicion that my teeth are only in poor condition because of my curious immune system.

.::.six.::.
I've sent myself letters, and I don't really know why. They were long and detailed and written as if to a lover.

.::.seven.::.
Sometimes I sleep in a bathtub full of water, appropriate for the weather, with my clothes on. I make it ritualistic, having music and a safely destructable book to read. Also, I physically cannot relax when I'm alone unless every media device in the house (i.e. TV, computer, iPod, radio, DVD player, etc.) is on.

.::.eight.::.
Whenever I'm in a new situation, I have an overwhelming fear of being hit or punched by the people there. I think it stems from getting thrashed throughout grade school.

(Adding a few, cause I feel like elaborating on my quirks some. Am bored.)

.::.nine.::.
When I was much younger I ate a lot of raw meat. I never ate cooked meat, I made sure to cut off a chunk before it was cooked to have with dinner.

.::.ten.::.
I refuse to wear pajamas to bed. I almost always just wear whatever I was wearing that day. Pajamas are severely uncomfortable for me.

.::.eleven.::.
I have extreme difficulties writing without either coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or apple cider.

HOMG YES. I still can't believe it. I'm going to college, majoring in Visual Arts and Illustration.
