Shipping up to Boston

Going to Boston this comming weekend with my boyfriend!! Cannot wait...going to bring all my cameras and hopefully take many pictures!!! No idea what we're going to be doing..he seems to be planning it all.. Im really excited haven't been to Boston since September!!

Afterwards school finally starts! I cant wait to get back into the darkroom. I have some more Natalie shoots scheduled and Im really excited to incorporate her hawk! Very excited.. so Im taking a break until then!! See you all soon!

Snowboarding. . .

So how is everyone??
Firstly thank you to all my recent watchers! I love the support!!
So what have I been up to lately?? Learning to snowboard.. not easy..my boyfriend has been so paitent and a good teacher! mmm... and after my second day I was able to actually stand up and slide down the bitty bunny hill! I can do toe side no problem..but having a hard time with heel side...and oh..to stop..I just fall... >..< Which works because I almost took out this little boy who was learning to ski...

School doesnt start for another two weeks and my sister is using my digital camera for photo shoots.. so I havent been able to do any work lately.. depressing.. I'm itching to get back in the darkroom at school though....

Holidays...Creative Loss

School is over for this semester...I miss it already! The next semester doesn't start til the end of january! So I wont be able to use the Darkroom til then. Which means I get to work on more digital photos....but of what? Not feeling very creative lately..

Saving up for a new camera. Definitly time for an upgrade.

Not sure what I'm doing this Christmas. My boyfriend is going to California to visit family and I'm stuck in borring Connecticut! Next month we're going on a trip though! Don't know where yet...

Just got done watching the 'Real World, Reunion.' Oh I loved the San Diego Real World...I miss it so much! Im sad that I didnt see the first few episodes...the cast that they picked was actually good for once, but none of the guys were cute...I hated Real World until this one...everyone had great chemistry..I was upset when Frankie left though...I didnt like Charlie...I think I act a bit like Cameron sometimes..she was okay..Robin got on my nerves a bit, but she was sweet.. I think Im a lot like Frankie mentally...but Dave was such a freak.. so was Adam....

It looked like so much fun... I'd do it if I got the chance..but I would have trouble acting like there was no camera men...

Next week their gonna show what didn't get aired on tv. Then it's the Real World, Road Rules challenge...which would be good if the people on Road Rules didn't suck... I can't wait!

2 days left of school, then three days of exams! This week is my final in that god forsaken 'education' building. Craming in my last essay for english...I wont worry about studying till Monday night. My essay is on Sara Teasdale, what a wonderful poet... I have to compare and contrast her work to her life... fun.

This morning, while I was driving to school on the highway, as I do every school day, I had the 'special' privilege of following a state trooper. Having to go the exact speed and such...it killed me.

Lately police have been infecting the highway to control speed limits and enforce the ridiculous seat belt law.

Yet since I've had my license, I haven't been pulled over..I've managed to stay around the speed limit and not drive crazy. This is on the contrary to many of some other students I have to listen to. Which can't learn to grow up and realize how dangerous cars can be.

With my parents both working with accident related issues(my father being a fire fighter and my mother a triage nurse)...maybe I'd become more then paranoid...but Im not. I enjoy speeding and using my car for what it's worth...saftely..and I still have fun..

Yet, as I was coming home from school and coming up a hill, as I do everyday, which has two lanes; I go on the farthest one to pass out a School Bus. So...Im going about 50mph in between on coming traffic and a bus going up a hill and soon to turn a corner...well the bus sways into my lane a little, causing me to go over the yellow line...then a car coming down the hill...well...it looked bad. I swerved toward the bus as close as I could and the other car swerved as close to the sidewalk as close as it could...

That's got to be about the 5th accident I have avoided...Im so proud of myself!

One of the greatest feelings, it's warm outside (for once) and my car finally has gas. I roll down the windows and crank up my favorite song. Speeding down a long windy road, aligned with trees growing bright new green leaves which give off a particular spring aroma in the air... It felt so good to just drive....and just forget things for awhile... It's been tough lately...and school is almost out. I will soon be going to a prom, which I'm glad for since I recently missed my junior one.
Some things are looking good, yet others threaten dearly.
I feel like dying...
I just want to runaway....

Alright. So the SATs weren't all too bad. Some questions were rather easy and some were quite hard. I think I may need to take it atleast two more times...before the end of the year...I hear next year, you'll need to write an essay for it. How rediculous.

Anyway, Camera doesn't want to work when it's plugged into the computer. And my computer is dead... I may do another photo session with the video camera until I figure out what's wrong with my camera. My frickin brand new $300 digital frickin camera!

Oh by the way....

Miz isn't me!!! As much as I wish I looked like Miz...Im sure she wouldn't appreciate people thinking I am her... So let's clear it up...

So the Fashion Show was on monday. It was a lot of fun...and it was more work then I expected it to be. I took a bout an hour to get my hair done, mine took the longest! It was all twisty and spikey, while every other girls' was curly and cutsey...mine was more wild and crazy I guess... my make up took quite awhile...the lady put a really dark shade of lipstick on, I looked like a hooker, so I had to personally fix that. My feet were killing me...by the time I was done doing a few run-way walks and pivots for practice I was so tired and I wasn't even in my first dress yet! by the end of the show I was out of it....

Okay...Fashion Show is tomorrow...and for the past few days I've been doing nothing but preparing! Facial after facial...muds after muds...conditioner after conditioner...god I love this stuff.. So this is what they call spring? The air came to a cool 68 degrees fahrenheit today. People wandered out of they're so called 'homes,' and out into the dim sunlight. It's been months since I inhaled such warm toxic air. It felt good... After weeks and weeks of being below 40 degrees... 68F isn't bad... it's inspiring... I felt weightless.. kind of... girly! It's Spring... who shouldn't? It's that time of the year...

That time of the year when there is only two more months of school. Mark my word...I am going to the beach and I am taking you with me... (you may not know who you are, but you're comming) The beach...used or shall I say, misused for the wrong reasons... I have dreamed of driving all night to the beach (its only a two hour drive) sleeping on the sand till sun rise...and dancing barefoot along the shore....weird... I really want to do this...maybe with one other person...but other then that..in solitude..with nothing but the waves...

Prom Fashion Show

Yesterday...I went to "RagTime" for my dress fitting. I picked out Three really pretty dresses for my school's Prom Fashion Show. One is a bright Lavender...fits me really well... Another is a dark purple with star sequens... the last is the most loveliest dress I ever wore... its really poofy (which I adore!!!) its a pale pink.. with darker pink and purple flowers embrodied on it and a slim fitted corrsett-like top...I looked really good (I hope...the other girls in the shop said so!)!! I felt like a princess...I couldn't bare to take it off...but It's on hold!! So I might not get to wear it in the show! But Im glad my father saw it on me...it was really stunning...

I got my hair done yesterday! Its back to it's original colour...a dark, rich, walnut brown. I had it cut too...It's somewhat shot, layered, longest part is to me sholders though..It's a choppy cut, I love those, very sultry... I needed a change!!

I will have to post some photos as soon as I can...I need a new ID I dont like that one... Wahh! hehe..

...Been staining parts of my desk all day! Its a deep redish colour...looks very nice. The fumes of the stain are really hurting my head!!!
Also been cleaning...scary thing...but I want to redecorate my bedroom, hence the staining. Currently its this lovely lilac purple my sister painted it when she lived here...but shes gone..its mine now..and it needs to be altered...Im thinking deep colours...greens, reds, blacks....oh yeah...I love designing rooms!!

Other then that...I added a short little story thing, "The Requiem." I wanted to add this adorable photo...but my scanner is crap...

Been busy lately...my step-grandmother passed away unexpectedly on friday the 13th...freaky huh? But I'm back! and trying to catch up on everyones lovely art!
Hopefully I will be uploading some of mine soon...my scanner has a problem with scanning lead...so I need to find out whats wrong with it...

And the soft siren music was all that filled the air, the weeping had stopped and all seemed forgotten. Music filled them all. Writers of Poetry

We're currently analyzing poems in my English CP class. I noticed how all of the poems where written by men. Ironic it was when reading them how beautiful and sensitive they were. Yet written by men? I'm not sexiest, I just normally believe that men are more arrgessive by nature and women are more tender and soft.
It's just interesting thought. But, the years when the poems where written various from the 1800's to the 1820's and so on. So I suppose men of that age weren't tainted by the means of technology and experiences we have today.
Interesting concepts....
