I can't think of anything that I want for myself as my birthday gift. I decided that this year it is time to gift somebody else. I decided to order a custom engraved iPod nano for my girlfriend and give it to her as semi-Christmas gift. Since she doesn't check this website too often, I decided that it is safe to share this picture and the story. I really hope she likes it.
The iPod is engraved with the Polish sentence "I love you" and has some pictures of us in memory already.

Thailand was really nice, Bangkok was pretty exciting and now I know where to go - next time will be even better. At the beggining I was a little bit confused by language, I really love this feeling, so different from Polish, Chinese or English in pronunciation. It is quite nice, though :)

I was cruising the river, getting off at some temples. Of course I went to the Grand Palace, which was home of the King not that long ago. Thailand is really great experience :)


* After Thailand, about week later I bought (finally!) new camera. After one and half year of collecting money I do have my precious new toy - Canon 400D. I am so happy :)

I realized that most of my recent works are in same colour tones... that IS strange. I guess I have to go out and look for some red ^^ I feel strange anyway, cause lately there was no occasion to take any picture :/
I took some anyway, but - suprise lens is dirty from inside and if the picture has too smooth tones, you can see many big marks. Great. Just lovely...

I could write about my life but its completly unattractive topic for most of the people. Everybody has almost same live, with smaller or bigger differences. I could write some absolutely magnificent story - like 'Lord Of The Rings', 'The Witcher', 'Sword Of Truth' or 'Memoirs of Geisha'... blah... too classic. Anyway - who will read that? But I can write about my pictures and I am sure, that people wiil be delighted about reading specification of every_single_photo. Well... maybe not. But a little bit of history about the trips? Sure. I can write, express myself a little bit, kill all those english-purified eyes. Of course. I can do that. Anyway...

Ok. Let's begin. Close your eyes and think abo... No! Don't close your eyes! *Ehh* Just imagine, that you are going to beautiful place. Amazing, pillar-like mountains, are everywhere around as far as you can see. You are standing at the river banks, looking how the river goes by. Ship is waiting for you. Ready?

Welcome to the Guangxi Province, one of the most famous places in China. (Don't mention horrible hotnes and dirty water and people trying to get more than they are suspected...yep) That's a place where you are able to rent a boat [link] see every-days life on the river [link] [link] or even interesting industrial places [link] And when you climb one of those mountains, there is a big reward: Amazing view. From the top itself, I can say. [link] And when you finish your admiring and taking_photos madness [link] You can just go and relax in many of restaurants and bars or just die from over-buying everything you are able to see and like. From time to time you will be catched by the street vendors [link] whom abilities to apearing everywhere you are are really suprising. Guilin, Yangshuo, River Li... those are very interesting places but I was far more amazed by the rice terraces in Longji. Amazing place, with great people. Or most of them... That was a place without big highways. A place with clear air and beautifull view - even from the 'hotel' window [link] You can walk around the mountains alone, if you are good enough in running from 'must_have_me' guiders or with local ethnic group (those 'm_h_m'). I rather prefer alone. Anyway... As far you can see - everything looks amazing. Terraces are just one of the most amazing places in the China I did seen. [link] Very peaceful, becouse not much of the tourist did been there, with amazingly nice, open people. And you can sleep there for 15 RMB/Room. Yeah... thats a real advantage. Everything is just great in that place. And when you are coming back at the afternoon, after long hike, and you look around [link] - you feel like you are in the right place.

Good place to live.
