I'm back (sort of) just finished my history paper yesterday, it's probably gonna suck but whatever, I'm done with it and don't have to stress about it anymore. I don't really have anything decent to upload cause of all the homework that I've been getting and Dragon Age: Origins has been slowly stealing my soul lol (that game is freaking awesome). I still have two trades to finish, a character meme, and some Dragon Age fan art that's sitting on my desktop. Hopefully I'll be able to finish them soon.

:iconkitaki: recently entered her dog Sammy in [link] (the cutest dog competition) and won the first of 12 rounds, making him a semi-finalist. He racked up 1500 votes within 3 days due greatly to the support from DA artists and online friends.

If they can get enough voters to put them in the Finals, they'll will be able to win $5,000 and that will be all that they need. It takes a few minutes to register on the site, and then they need voters to vote for Sammy once a day, every day, for 2 weeks. Voting will start on the 26th.

First day of college was today, and so far, so good. My Computer Concepts teacher is hilarious and I love his cell phone policy (if it rings in class, he gets to answer it) and being that my phone is never on I can't wait for someone's to go off in class (or the teacher's cause if his goes off one of the students get to answer it lol) I love my schedule I have a maximum of 2 classes a day monday through thursday and one class on friday (yay short days :la:). I have sociology tomorrow morning, it should be interesting, hopefully that teacher will be cool too (the required book was written by him though =/ money money money money!! 8D)

I only have four classes this semester: Computer Concepts, Trig (cause I needed a refresher, I placed in Pre-cal though =/), Sociology and Western history. I need to bring a sketch book to doodle in during my almost 2 hours of down time between classes, cause I can't leave classes cause I has no car =/ and my mom doesn't want to add 2 pickup/drop off runs to her list (which is fine)

I'm gonna miss my high school teachers, though, they were all so freaking awesome :la: I'll have to stop by and say hi to them =)

I've never been great at putting a price to my work but what would you say that it's worth?

Finished with my college course

+Edit+ I bought some Copic markers today, I found a store that sells them that's about 20-30 min from my house and I get a student discount! (they're still as expensive as hell though -__-) Yay test tomorrow! *shot*

+EDIT #2+ I found out last week that all of my entries to this years California State Fair have placed. The painting of Rou [link] and charcoal Wa-ya [link] both received 3rd place and a digital piece that I did (which haven't uploaded yet ^^;) got 1st place and will be in the fair.

I will try to get my trades done ASAP but I will not have access to my tablet and photoshop until Wednesday.

On a more somber note I just found out today that one of my class mates drowned in the Sacramento/American river on Sunday, and they still haven't found his body. R.I.P George we'll miss you =(

Went to :iconstrake-demon-fire:s house for graduation pool party :w00t!: I got shoved in the pool twice XD *Feels accomplished* I shoved in others about 15+ times lol. It was so fun XD

Graduation is of course on Monday =( (after 12+ years of mandatory school, you'd think I'd be happy to leave, but as I've found the last two days I'm not ready to say goodbye. I'm gonna miss all my friends and my teachers *they told me to come back and say hi=)*) One plus though X-BOX!!!! =D =D Thursday was hillarious cause all of the seniors (minus me I'm too much of a wimp to draw attention to myself) were cheering and screaming and chanting "'09!" ahhh fun times fun times. Graduation rehearsal sucked though cause some of the staff helping us get seated (not all of them, the teachers that I knew, like Mr. B *my world history teacher*, were awesome as always) told us to do one thing and then told us we didn't do it right even though we did exactly as they had told us to. Though their frustration was understandable cause some people don't know when to stop and be serious (though they were funny XD). So all in all it took over an hour more than what they had told us originally to finish with the entire procedure.

Maybe now I can finish all my projects that have been sitting on my desk top. =/ :w00t!: I have coffee now!!!

Only four more days until I graduate, technically its five but next Friday doesn't count because it's just graduation rehearsal. My mood is kinda both ways on graduating, one one end I'm really excited because I am done with high school and I get my X-box 360 (it's so sexy lol, its sitting in my mom's closet right now =3) but on the other hand I'm really bummed out by it because I'm gonna miss all my teachers (they were all so freakin' awesome =D), my friends (some of them I will probably never see again :tears:) and I start college about a week after graduation....

Has to happen some time though =) I couldn't have had a better time if I had tried.

I need to upload some of the stuff that I've done, I fail lol. I haven't completed one project in my Art 2 class, I'm almost done with two projects though lol. And I'm almost done with my Computers and Graphic Design 2 project, I'll see if I can grab some pics of them soon. I need to go work on my CAD project that I was supposed to finish for my final last term but didn't have the time to (my teacher was so cool on that too, he's letting me work on it now), it's a 3D model of a PS2 controller (it looks a lot blockier than it was supposed to be through XD) and I finally finished the car for my Engineering class, I'll see if I can get some pictures up of that too.

Anyone seen the new game Spore (most likely an extremely stupid question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway)? I want to get it but it says that it requires an internet connection to play, which if it needs an internet connection just to play and not to just get content created by other people I'm gonna be pissed cause the only computer that I can play games on is my computer and it doesn't have internet >=X Oh well I'll get over it.

School's been stressing as usual but it's getting better. I had an F in AP Calculus but I got it up to a B- in just two weeks =D. I'm also getting to help build an electric car for the school play in my engineering B class, I'm so excited about that lol, I think we're going to make it a Mach 1 Mustang.

I had homework all week long and was not able to get any art anywhere near done, much less worked on =(....I apologize once again that it's taking so long.

Lol on a rather happy note, my little sister's birthday is on Monday, she's going to be 8 ^^

I went to see the Dark Knight about a week ago with my neighbors. I loved it and giggled like a madman at the joker (his pencil trick pwns lol). I just got back from Monterey yesterday (the aquarium seems to be our family vacation favorite I guess) and I took a ton of new photos, I may upload a few of my favorites later.

I'm almost finished with my homework, just another page of math and one more week of reading and then it is gone!

And it's my dad's birthday today! :cake: So we're going out to dinner later and stuff. =D

I got some confirmation in the mail from the state fair and both of my entries placed. I'm really excited about my acrylic painting though, it got second place. I haven't painted with acrylics in about 3 years (or really painted at all for that matter in that time) so I didn't think it would get anything. I didn't get any finished pictures of it before I turned it in though so I have to wait until I get it back to show you guys, but if any of you live in California and are going to the state fair this year check it out =) It's a brown/beige wolf creature with big horns and a green back ground.

I'm currently working on a personal art project for myself as well, it's huge (18" x 24") the biggest that I've ever worked on. I may upload a few WIP pics of it cause I'm going to color it traditionally and of course it's too big for my scanner. =P


Does anyone know of any good RPGs that I can look up? I can't play any MMORPGs cause of the whole must be played online issue (which sucks cause there are a few that look like fun) and until my birthday I'm pretty much stuck not being able to buy any M rated games cause of the whole under 17 thing lol (I had my uncle buy me Oblivion with my money cause my mom wouldn't do it, even though she said that I could get it =P).
