Well, over the last few days I've had a LOT of spare time, thus being fairly bored on the occasion. So I've taken the time to go around dA, and search for some other potential manip artist's out there, and my god was I shocked, and very disappointed.

I think in the end I was up to and offset of 3600 (meaning saw the thumbs of 3600 images), the majority of which being very minute work such as people taking the stocks from great stock artist's around, and just adding a new sepia tone over the top, or maybe a filter in there. This is NOT what should be done, in fact it is against the rules. This is not what's meant to be fit into the Photo manipulation category, this category is for people who actually find ways to use the stock, and actually put some effort into composing a whole piece out of it, NOT "hey, let's add a photo filter to somebody else's work and call it my own", this is practically ripping, in fact it is.

Stock artist's are there to provide images, yes, but they are not there for their work to be stolen, and the credit taken from them. And what's worse, is that because it's such a large majority of people doing this, it's lowering the standard of manipulation as a whole, to the point where some look down upon it.

With all this being said, I was glad to see the occasional person putting effort into their work, and I congratulate them for being part of the minute number of people actually doing the right thing.

So please, I just ask people to refrain from doing such things, and maybe the message just might spread on!
In fact, it would help a lot of we had other manipulator's out there posting things like this in their journal's, if you really want you can copy and paste it.

i have no clue on how it went so i will let you know about that later.

But this does mean an other important thing, holidays at last!!!

Finally i can bring up the time to let loose all the ideas i made up during math class. And it looks like my most ambitious graphical project yet has started. You will be hearing about that and other stuff soon .

Congratulations to everyone who finished school this year, have a good holiday to you all.
