Unfortunately, I have been having problems with someone on DA... hopefully things will settle down. It's getting quite frustrating. Some people just can't keep their negative opinions to themselves... and if it was about my artwork, I wouldn't care so much. I'm used to positive AND negative comments on my artwork. IT HAPPENS. But... I will admit I have some self esteem issues... and she has been putting me down... and told me to "cut my wrists and die." Real nice, huh?

Usually... I take a breather and don't respond... but her comments were VERY hurtful, because I'm already sensitive about certain things... so I felt the need to respond. I didn't say things that were exactly nice... but hey, I was angry.

Alright, here's the deal... I'm heading out of Illinois for a while to go to Arizona to visit my boyfriend. I'm going to be out there for nearly 3 weeks, and I'm very low on cash. My aunt helped me out with the flight using her Frequent Flyer Miles... but I'm still in serious need of some cash.

Ah, yes... looks like I've got some good karma being repaid. Yay!!!

I got my new digital camera about a month ago.

It's an SLR-like digital (unfortunately money is sparse, and I cannot afford a digital SLR... I got the best - in my opinion - that I could afford...)

I got a Sony DSC H-1. I'm very happy with it... still wish I could have afforded what I wanted. But when things pick up, I can upgrade. hehe.

Another lovely thing that happened was that I have been temporarily hired on as a photo journalist for one of the newspapers in my area. I will be hired on permanently once I have done a few assignments. As of now they're trying me out just to make sure I can give them want they need from an employee.

This is so exciting for me, because I'm only 16 (turning 17 in December)... I never thought I could get a job as a photo journalist because of my age, but I finally found someone who looks past my age, and judges by my photography. Finally!!! lol

My fiance got a job yesterday... so finally... it seems both of us will be getting a paycheck, and finally get our apartment and his car. Our friend got a new car, and he's letting us get his old one for only $350. ^_^ I've loved that car for the entire 3 years I've known my friend.. it's cool that it'll be ours soon.

Whelp, the time has come. It's time for me to get a new digital camera. If you haven't noticed, my recent photos (exluding the Brinkerhoff photos... those were with my Canon Rebel GII) haven't been sharp... quite blurry... I'm so angry about it...

Stupid me made the mistake of getting it to close to steaming water... and it steamed up the inside and outside of the camera. No matter what I do now, I photos have a blur. Plus after (stupidly) lending my camera to a friend, the lense is quite scratched. Meh...

It doesn't quite matter... I need a new camera anyway. I'm not even going to say how many megapixels my current camera has... it's shameful. Haha!.. It really is...

But yeah, I'm shopping around, deciding which camera to purchase...

If anyone has any suggestions, let me know... THANKS!!

I may or may not be moving to Wisconsin. Me and my fiance, ~senaelen, are trying to work out how our living situation is going to be. For now we're both working and saving money for us... and we see each other every weekend.

I've had a lot of time to work on manipulations and submit photos because I've been having some insomnia lately. Not sure why... it just seems I never get to sleep until 5 AM. It's quite irritating, but I like being able to get my artwork completed.

Unfortunately the photoshoot with ~vampireblood18 was canceled. We are currently planning to try again for another day. Once again, keep a look out for cemetary photos.

I got my engagment ring. Josh and I have been engaged for many months, but we finally got the ring!! I posted a photo in my Spraps. I'm so very very happy and in love.
