First things first.... my iPod died. I. Live. Off. That. Thing. Meaning, basically, this is the end. *dramatic swoon*

Secondly... I've been busy, or maybe I should've said that first... Don't expect many updates, and I'll have to get back to all the comments and such later Please be patient! A lot's been happening. I've got some stuff I have set for submission, but I can't do it now.

Third... I've finally read Maximum Ride: Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports. It was sooo good. I really hope James Patterson writes more of the series. The scene where Max was getting the chip out cracked me up so badly... xD

Fourth: I've finally gotten around to see Phantom of the Opera. It was the 2004 movie, and I *loved* it. I've heard a lot of people saying, "It can't compare to the Broadway showing!", and maybe it can't. But I never had the chance to see that, and I loved this movie, so neh xD I've been singing the songs all day, haha. And it's one of the few books/movies that had me almost crying at the end.

Sorry for the negative attitude, but I'm just bummed. It's been a pretty unlucky day for my family, and we're all worried about my grandparents and such. Please pray for them? And thanks for all the faves, comments, and pageviews. (:

I did finish k-i-s-s-h-u's b-day pic and teh-stripe's request, but I'm just not happy with them. But, after thinking about it for awhile, I really do owe it to them to submit. I've been slacking on it for forever T.T I'll probably redo them later, but in the meantime I guess you'll have to settle for the first final copy >.<

I'm currently trying to a make a sort of mini-manga. I'll try to post some of that soon.

I also made a quit scrap sketch for Ladre's contest, but that's not good enough to be my real entry. And I'm running out of time! The deadline is this Thursday! o.0; I gotta get to work on that really soon.

I wonder whatever happend to suika-azuto's contest? I entered, and it ended, but she never said anything.... And about the contest I might end up having (probably this summer, if at all). It'll probably be about some characters I have (have I submitted anything on them? I don't think so...). Details on that once school lets out. I'm failing science T.T It's not really my fault, though. I missed one lab report (on accident), and she didn't tell me about it. I was out sick for a week! What do you expect, ne?

OK! I know I haven't been on in ages, but I've returned! xD Just some updates on what I've been doing.

I've cleaned out my tiny gallery, leaving only what I think are acceptable to pass as Deviations for the moment As I go on and get better, I'll probably keep deleting stuff (no, not quickly at all. I'm talking after periods of several months here...).

I've also dug up old drawings and submitted them (I feel bad having them just sit in my many sketch books), mostly as scraps, but a few as Deviations. I've also been working on some more recent projects!

I'm going to try extremely hard at what I draw (more than I already do, which is usually a lot anyways ). So, hopefully it should look more decent arond here from now on. I've been practicing random stuff lately in my sketchbook, so that's why I haven't submitted anything too recently.

It's also hard for me because I don't have photo editing software, so there are oftentimes smudges and mistakes on my pics. I am saving up to fix this!

I just wanted everyone to know that as a new year's resolution, I'm going to try extra hard at my drawing. Everytime I try to draw something, NOOOO, it HAS to be wrong in some way. Porportions are my worst enemy >.< Last night I finished this "experimental" piece (I tried something totally new and difficult with the hair, clothes, shading, and even the expression.... you get it ) But it figures, I totally screwed up the shading (in PEN, nyah), and the head was HUGE compared to the body.

Yeah, it figures... I know, I know: practice makes perfect, right? >>But the folds in the clothes came out awesome for my typical pictures<<< *tear*

I love drawing anime, but I have no one at school to share it with, hence it sits in my sketchbook, unseen by all but me. Finally I can share my art with people, get real advice about what to change, and meet other new artists.

Also, when I see more professional anime pictures here, I really want to do my best, too, and reach that calibur someday. I hope to take my art to the next level. I'm a computer nerd ('nuff said XD) and I love animation, videogames, writing, and Japanese. Soo, it would be really great to refine my art here, and maybe someday become an anime animator, or a character designer for a videogame. (I'd also love to write a book in Japanese, but that's another topic )
