Q: What’s the difference between Socialism and Communism?

A: Both are the same, yet not. Our goal is to establish Communism on the entire planet, but that needs Socialism first. As described by Marx, Socialism is the time when the rulers, the Bourgeoisie, and the exploited, the Proletariat switch places, and the Proletariat (or working class) gets into power. Communism is the society without classes, borders, and inequality. But for this, the Proletariat must equalize all classes of society first, under Socialism.

Q: What’s the difference between Marxism, Marxism-Leninism, Maoism, Stalinism, ... etc.?

A: Marxism-Leninism is the continuation of Marxism, into the 20th century of Imperialism, therefore it’s Marxism basically. Stalinism and Maoism, as the two main ideals that dominated the former ’communist’ bloc, are not Marxist, in many ways. They’re a deformed kind of Marxism, that well-suited the ruling bureaucracy’s place in the state. Trotskyism is another continuation of Marxism, Trotsky’s most important works are that which deal with the critique of Stalin, and the theory of the Permanent Revolution, which is very important to colonial countries.

Q: Why do you want Socialism, it has failed in all parts of the world?!

A: You would be right, if there would have been any Socialist countries ever in history. There weren’t sadly. There were only very close attempts to do it, but all failed because of various reasons.

The USSR got stuck on the way from capitalism to Socialism, in a deformed worker's state (or proletarian bonapartism, or state-capitalism). In this, a ruling clique came to life again, in the form of the party bureaucracy. This class didn’t want real revolutions to come to life, as you can see from the vast number of revolutionary attempts that were stopped either by the USSR or China. If they’d want ’communism’ to spread, why would they stand in its way?

Q: Workers’ Democracy and Dictatorship of the Proletariat... How could something be Dictatorical and Democratic at the same time?

A: In Marx’s theory, every bourgeois nation is a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, wether it is a real dictatorship, or a ’parliamental democracy’. In all cases, the will of the minority is imposed upon the majority. Contrary to this is the dictatorship of the proletariat, or the workers. In this, the will of the majority is imposed upon the minority. That’s why he called it dictatorship.

But how could the will of such a mass of people be imposed? Only through a revolutionary party. But what is this worth if it’s just a group of intellectuals? Nothing. The active participation of the masses is needed for this. And, this can not be by other means than democratic ones.

You may say now that this could set back the revolutionary process. Indeed, but only if the masses aren’t educated enough. The power can not be vested in the revolutionary party alone for a long time. The revolutionary need and methods must come from the workers themselves! Not from above. One just needs to look back into history to see that ’revolution from above’ isn’t progressive at all.

But, don’t misunderstand us to be social democrats, like the UK’s Labour or Germany’s SPD, we are not.
