Everyone has probably seen the 100 themes challenge going around, correct?

Well, I decided for something fun, we could start to create our own 100 themes!!!
As a club, I would like to keep fun activities and contests such as this constantly going so as to interact with the members and to keep exposing all of your great talents!
If anybody has suggestions for more activities please don't hesitate to send a note, i would love hearing from you all.

Okay, now this is how its going to work. I will choose the first "theme", and everyone can send a note to me with their deviation which follows this guideline.
It can be an older deviation, however i would love to see people making new art to go along with it.
It can be any form of art, as long as it includes the theme some how.

Lets have some fun! I hate 100% professionalism... this isn't an office! lets go nuts.

So lets break it down.

All submissions will either be displayed in their own news article for all to see, or be mentioned cordially in the weekly newsie, depending on the response.

If you get any ideas for themes, just drop a line! if i could, i would like to do 5 every week...

THE CURRENT THEME IS: Cascade

^_^ so basically, instead of a Daily Deviation This is a WEEKLY DEVIANT

Every Saturday, The mods and I will review all the suggestions (which should be sent in by the lovely members) and will choose the winners for that week! Each user from their prospective genre will have a nice paragraph blurb about them and up to 10 of their works shown in a news article for all to see! Also, their icon and three of their works will be shown in my journal for the whole week! Not to mention each winner will have their work collected into their very own favorites folder!

other suggestions which i enjoyed throughout the week will be shown at the end of the journal, in no particular order.

So how do you join? ITS SIMPLE! simply watch the group, and your in! I do encourage the new found members to dedicate a journal to the group... due to the fact that it is in its infant stage and needs all the help it can get! If you guys are too lazy to do that, i at least require the icon be placed in your journal please ^_^

Once you joined, you will enter the pool of potential Weekly Deviants, and also have the ability to join contests and suggest others for the part! To suggest work (or try to whore your own) please send a note to the appropriate mod (shown at the end of every journal), or visit the official thumbshare thread

OUR FIRST CONTEST

For a grand prize of a three month subscription, i would like for Everyone to put their best efforts into making a club ID

Your ID must be 300x250 pixels, and be flashy and eye catching.
The reason for the size restrictions is because i may use it for ADCAST ad a later time! Which means of course you would have to be okay with that.

Anyway, use your imagination with this... I dont have any designs in mind, but try to keep it clean and professional looking while still being eye catching. It should have text included saying the sites name (Weekly Deviant) or WD for short.

im thinking the deadline is Exactly one month from now (November 2nd, 2008)

Once again, the creator of the chosen ID will receive a 3 month subby... Get to work!

I am still searching for a Traditional Artist which wishes to join as a MOD!
