Well, what's new? Harry Potter, that's what. I'm so pleased to work at a bookstore. OPENING NIGHT PARTY, whoo! I get to hand out goodie bags to all the little monsters in glasses and cloaks and temporary lightning bolt tattoos. Muah.

Butbutbut I wanted to go übernerd and dress up as a student but I didn't get a costume put together in time... arrgh.

Oh, and I was in the store today, and it's arrived. I've touched it. It's, like, wow. I got my uniform shirt and was all giddy, as much as I loathe uniforms... but it's just a tee with the book cover on the back and the store's logo on the front. So I won't look too terribly stupid. :B It's not like I ever have to wear a uniform there, anyhow.

Umumum.

Yeah, just got back from vacation. Went to the interior of mah province for a week or so, where I baked and burned and got all super dusty and stuff. There was much country music and I heard the phrase "Git'r Done!" enough to last me fifteen lifetimes. UGH. But it was fun, all in all; I don't know how, but it was. I think it was 'cuz the nights were cool and clear and it was so RELAXING. Doing NOTHING. And we had a freak thunder/wind/dust storm, which was pretty exciting.

We took down the tent the night before so we could leave super early to get home for SHOWERS, intending to sleep under the stars and all, but that was shot down with incoming stormclouds and a few drops of rain.

So I slept in my truck. Kinda stuffy and cramped in there.

Anyhoo. Bookstore re-opens at 11PM, so I've gotta jet. Must not reject dA so much anymore, ungh.

I NEED INSPIRATION. Haven't doodled or painted in so long. Save for on the wrapper baggie thing from my lemon raspberry loaf (oh, drool...) at Starbucks, but that doesn't count.

I'm really lucky. My grandma's cousin (so my great cousin? Great aunt?) offered for me to stay where she lives in Belgium for a bit while I'm there. That's near Antwerp, and I believe she said Amsterdam's an hour or two by train from there, and to Paris it's just an hour longer! So Cologne can't be far off, either! Naturally, Germany'll be the focal point of the trip; and god, how I enjoy taking the train!

The only un-fun part that I can tell right now (other than the jetlag) will be that if I go alone, it'll be kinda hard as I'm pretty meek. But hey, I can adjust!

And does anyone else find it ironic that the movie Eurotrip was on last night? God, at least now I know what to avoid... Dx

-Computer dies. And I mean dies. Without warning. Poof.
-OOMPH! CD comes in two days or so after it dies, not allowing me put it on my bloody mp3 player. #@$%.
-Me birthday party! After how many months?
-Got a job. Bleach sanitizer + eczema do NOT mix. Owieee.
-Pirates of the Caribbean II. 'Nuff said. x3
-New computer. I can now download music. And burn CD's. And I have MSN. Vhoa.

So yesss... for some reason, I wanna talk about anime right now. Must be thanks to the con! This weekend! Woot! Must find some way to get off work... but I can't wait! Only two school friends and I are going this year, but I'm sure we'll meet up with more peoples there. I dunno whether I dare cosplay or not this year, as last year my boots killed my feet. But when you think about it, when else this year will I get the chance?

Enough thought. I shall cosplay. Where else will I get to showcase my nerdiness? :B

But they'd better have a better plan for the dealer's room this year. Three hours in line almost isn't worth it. Almost.

Well, lotsa stress this time of year... grad + exams + sun (it burnsss...) is usually not a good combo... but strangly enough, I'm left with not much to do. Maybe I'll go doodle; I've been doing that a lot lately, especially during the videos on dirt in Geography from the past week. Question, though: Why the hell do they have that sort of background music for that series? Not that I have anything against it, and don't get me wrong, it's a great series, but it just doesn't seem to suit it... it needs something harder, faster paced! It's a friggin' vampire anime, fer gawdssakes! D: Hence why I like the manga better... Maybe I'm just nuts. I seem to be the only one bothered by this, so... *Awaits flaming by anyone bored/crazy enough to actually be reading this*

Dunno why I'm updating now; I'm working on a project at the moment, and I guess this is a brief moment to think about what I'm going to do with the thing.
