I don't get the title either.

Okay, SO! I was looking at my artwork and deleting the stuff that made me cringe, one of those being the meme I did back when I was still drawing on the computer with a mouse. So, I had another one of those CONFIDENCE BOOSTS!

So. I was thinking of doing a meme. But I couldn't decide what kind of meme, like a, ohhhhh a Fire Emblem memeeee or an OC meme or just a general artwork meme. What do you guys think?

Oh my goodness gracious, I turn around to discover DA had a makeover!

It looks so nice and neat! And fresh! I like it!

Anyway, just writing to tell you all I have NOT faded into nothingness! I haven't done much art lately---well, that's a lie. I've been working on my Naruto wolf manga-type-thing, which I might submit but might not...it's kind of silly...I just haven't done any computer artwork lately. Photoshop was being dumb!

Okay, Photoshop's working, my tablet's working, and inspiration is pouring all over my head! Life is good.

So, I am now finished with both my pending-completion requests, and am pretty durn free to draw whatever I want!

Of course, there are still a couple small things I want to do - I want to redo my ID and make a birthday pic for bri, to name a couple.

But after an enlightening look at my older artwork, I have been blessed with a confidence boost and now I'm ready to take on the world! That is, until you show me a picture done by a REAL artist. Then I'll cry.

And until I get a scanner, the only art I'll be posting will be pure-digital stuff.

Thank you to all my watchers, you guys are wonderful! Thank you to all my friends, your guys' support for me, commenting on my pics and faving them (this goes for my watchers too!), and even giving me the criticism I need when I think I'm awesome-er than I am! And thank you to all those people who fave or comment and then never talk to me again! YOU ALL ROCK!!

A New Beginning...

Okay, so...(sighs heavily) my gallery is spot-clean! Well, except the little "Old Stuff" folder. But I feel like a new member! (didn't want to say deviant, I'm not devious! )

I'm ready to post some new art! And now I have no excuses for not doing everyone's requests, so...I'll get them done as soon as I can!

I now, officially, have my own computer. I love it so much! Like CRAZY!!

But it's the fastest computer in the house, I think. It's only problem is it doesn't have Photoshop...which I'm probably going to fix soon!

My older sister bought a new computer, and she just decided for some reason that I should have one for my art stuff (since I had no computer then, I was just using other people's), and she just sent it over! For free!

I AM SO CRAZY HAPPY!!!! XD XD XD XD

And, on a different note...

I was looking at my Deviant Account, and ... I really hate most of the artwork on here. So I was thinking of doing a new account (though I hate to lost the name White-wyvern, it's really my internet name for everything) and putting up my newer work. Because seriously, I think it's just, uh...embarrassing to have such bad work up!! >_<

So, tell me what you guys think. Should I just put my old work away in a folder in my gallery, or should I make a new account altogether?

P.S. My "mood" button doesn't work, so I'll just be in shame forever.

Okay, so when my laptop broke, my older sister let me use hers. But...the tablet doesn't work on it, even after I installed it with the disc and everything, NOT TO MENTION I lost the tablet pen. Lemme count how many things are still lost:
- two MP3 players
- two Bibles
- one tablet pen

Good grief! I need a little discipline when it comes to setting things down and forgetting where they are.

So to everyone I owe requests....I'M SO SORRY!! It looks like it might be a while before I get them done. But I'll try, I promise!

(Oh, and the little button won't let me change my mood, so...I'll just be in "Shame" forver)

Okay, so it's official - my laptop is DEAD. DED. JUST LIKE THAT! (sobs)

Yeah, heh...I dropped it on its head.

I am now using my older sister's laptop, which is much slower (not to mention has NONE of my documents or anything), and doesn't even have Photoshop!! NO PHOTOSHOP!!

So, I'll try and get the installation thing from my uncle or something - I'll figure it out. Until then, who doesn't mind having their request done traditionally and scanned in?

But I'm not bitter! Listening to Newsboys and Bryan White makes me all bettoo. :3

Wow, you wouldn't believe how crazy it just was here! We got word of a tornado heading straight toward us, so we were like getting all nervous, shutting down computers and such...

At first, the wind was blowing a little, and it was raining slightly. Next thing I know, chunks of ice are falling from the sky, smackin' into our windows and bouncing off of everything. Pretty soon, we've got just HUGE puddles of the stuff around our cars, and the water slowly starts to drown the street! The hail's knocking small branches and leaves off of trees, too, and thunder and lightning weren't very far apart. And when the hail hit some of the puddles, it splashed up so far to make it look like the water was boiling - my sister compared it to lava.

My brother was actually silly enough to step out there - we watched him through the window, and saw him suddenly jolt like he'd been hit, and he starts yelling something (we can't hear him over the storm) and he comes inside, rubbing his back. Turns out, he got hit by a hail stone, and it even left a little red mark on his skin! Hope it doesn't leave a bruise...

Anyway, the chaos continued for at least an hour - I was out taking pictures a lot of the time - and the whole time, the rivers are rising, and the ground begins to look like snow has covered it. Then, FINALLY, we see blue sky, and just as quickly as it came, the storm was gone.

Lately I've gotten into thinking that my tablet's too big! Because I was doing some detailed work yesterday, when I was working with FE sprites...and I thought, 'I'm hardly using all of the space this tablet has available.'

So yeah. If I ever get another tablet, I think I'll want it to be smaller.

I just got my new laptop, so FINALLY I get onto sites like Sheezyart, Fanart-central...all those wonderful places I could never get to before! Brownie points to my dad!

And yeah. Lots of birthday pictures to get done this month! Especially , whose birthday I missed, and pretty much neglected her. Sorry, Bri!

AND GUESS WHAT!!!

When I installed Photoshop 7 on this laptop, it came with Adobe Imageready! *squeals* I'm so happy! I already made one...it's so cheesy and silly, though, I'm not sure if I should share it!

Hello, hello!

So I'm just going to be straight and forward here - I'm a horrible, lazy artist and should...DIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!

Phew, I feel better.

But no, I haven't been keeping up with my DA thing, and I truly feel like a horrible person. >A<

School's been pretty busy, we're doing a lot of new things this semester. Like in music performance class, my little sister and I are performing "I Don't Dance" from High School Musical 2, me being the part of Ryan and her the part of Chad. Yeah, I think it'll be fun!

Not to mention, we're looking at what would be my "future" if I were to pursue my goal of becoming an illustrator. Last time we decided that I'd be working as a cashier, in Denver, at Hobby Lobby. Heh, sounds pretty fun to me! Next time, we're finding out what kind of cars we have, how much we get paid, all that good stuff.

So I still have two requests I haven't done, that is Ishizu playing a guitar and a ZetsuxOC pic, which I'm kind of psyched about, since I CAN'T draw Zetsu worth a pile of beans! D:

Afer these two, I think I'll probably write the whole depressing statement, "I will not be taking requests or art trades for another two weeks." Or something like that. :>

School is not death!

Today was my first day back in school, and HOO! I need to get used to the schedule again! Although, after such a long time of sitting around being lazy, it might be nice to get back into the "be responsible" mode. Of course, I'm weird like that.

And the best thing is, I don't have to take Drama class!! YYYESS!! I hate anything that has to do with acting. >__< Not only is it embarrassing for those of us who are bad at it, but my little sister, who wants to be an actress, would show me up. BIG TIME.

So I'm taking a special art course instead. So happy!

Happy New Year!!!

Well, it's here!! I would have posted last night (this morning), but when midnight hit I was like, "Whooo, New year...time for bed..."

I thought of a New Year's Resolution, though it might not make much sense to you guys, sense you don't live with me.

I've decided I'm going to 1) cut down on my cynical, mean, and mocking attitude, 2) create at least one piece of art that takes more than 5 hours, one that I'm proud of 3) learn to love everyone, no matter who. :>

I hope 2008 brings blessings to all of you, and remember: life's too short to take TOO seriously. Don't take things personally! (I know I do, way too much)

So I was in English Comp. Class, and I finished my outline before my little sister did, so I had free time. So, I started randomly drawing/writing on tissues...

And so I started a random, unabridged fanfiction, and it ended up being 10 or 11 Kleenexes long! Lol! So, for some strange reason, it's actually kind of fun to write on Kleenex, so I'll probably continue writing it that way. Ha!

Well, with a gel pen. With a normal pen, you can't really uh...anyway, it was really fun!

Okay, I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but I do have a reason this time!

Ever since told me about Fruits Basket, I was curious, so I've been watching it.

Well, I watched all 26 episodes, and here's what I thought:

It's adorable! Definetely a girl's anime, but it's so sweet! *hugs a heart pillow* Although, the cussing got old, and I didn't appreciate some of the crude jokes in there, but other than that, it was very, very cute, and gave me warm fuzzies.

BUT ANYWAY!

I should be putting stuff up soon, but be aware that they will probably be scanned pics, seeing as Photoshop is in a "I hate White-Wyvern" mode.

So yeah. I still have to do those two requests...I'm such a nasty procrastinator. Anyone have ideas for poses for couples? I can't think of any.

So, today the craziest thing happened! I woke up...

AND I WAS COLD.

OMGOSH! *freaks out*

So many times I've "woken" up in the mornings, I've been really sweaty or really hot, and my blanket was found on my floor. But this morning, I actually pulled the blanket CLOSER and wished for a thicker blanket!!

And I'm really cold right now, even though I'm not wearing extreme summer clothes (capris and a t-shirt). I am so grateful for cool weather. FINALLY!

Oh, and off-subject, we had an amazing lightning storm last night. We were going to pick up my older brother from work, and half the time we couldn't see the road. This was partly because our windshield wipers had decided to stop working, and people coming our way had their brights on. One time we drove past a semi, and this huge WOOSH of water came over us. Hee!

Off-subject again, how many of you have started school already? I'm homeschooled, and we're doing a party thing on Labor Day weekend, so I start school on September 3. I know! I'm so lucky!

But more about school later. I promise to keep you guys updated, despite how few of you read my journal entries.

If there's anyone out there who wants to help, I've got some prayer requests.

* Ultimate revival - apathy has been growing in my town, and no one really seems to care about anything but sports anymore.

* My church - one family used to pretty much run the church by themselves, and they're moving away, and now our pastor is leaving because the board decided he was preaching nonsense. (which in a sense, he was) So with both the pastor and the family gone, the church will probably fall apart. If this is God's will, it's fine then, but if not, I'd just like to know what we should do about it.

* My step brother and his wife - He spends a lot of his time away from her, because he's a trucker, and therefore on the road a lot of the time, and she's considering divorcing him. Divorce is against the Bible, right? Well, let's just pray that she'll see that there are less pros than cons in this case.

* My friend, Ben - his family is having severe problems...from what I've heard, it's becoming a war zone - people are taking sides, sueing each other...please, just pray that God will enter their lives and show them how to love each other, and how to get past these problems.

STORY TIME! XD

I woke up this morning, around 3:20 AM. Groggy and bleary-eyed, I sat up and looked toward the form of my sister, who was standing in the doorway, made a silhouette by the hall light. "Guys, did you see the branch?"

Immediately, my mind was filled with even more confusion. "Branch?" I grumbled, not really caring, just wanting to go back to sleep. She beckoned me out, and I obediently followed, accompanied by my younger sister. I noticed it was very, very dark outside, but I figured that was normal for 3'o clock in the morning.

I stumbled up the stairs to the laundry-room window, and was unphased by the lashing rain and howling wind outside. I was like, okay, it's a storm. Whatever.

But then I saw the bucket of water near my foot, catching the drips from the roof. We have a pretty strong roof, which usually holds up! But it's gotta be some intense rain if it's burst through like that.

I walked over to the back door and switched on the light.

Yeah, it was a storm. But illuminated by the weak light of the back porch, I could see a thick, long branch in the mud, right next to the huge tree adjacent to our house. I stared for a moment, blinking to clear my eyes of both the sleepiness and the rain pouring down the window.

Later, I was lying there in bed, watching the blinding flashes. Once I looked out my window and found I couldn't see anything but the flashes in a dark, swirling sky. I soon fell asleep as the storm died away.

Later this morning, around 7:00 AM, I got up again, this time fully awake. I sat in the living room with my mom and older sister, and we talked for a while, but then my dad came in, having just ended a conversation with someone outside.

"Hey, you want to hear something really interesting?" he asked.

It turns out that the storm last night was thought to be a mini-tornado, which had swept THROUGH our street, hit trees on BOTH sides of our house, but didn't hit the house itself, or our cars, or our powerlines...it just hit the trees. And the funny thing was that most of the trees it hit were half-dead!

All over the town, it had only hit trees and made very, very minor damage. No one was hurt, no one's cars were hurt, every house was untouched.

It really goes to show that there's someone up there who cares. I wouldn't call this miracle "chance" in any way. I really think God's hand was protecting us the whole time!

Sorry for putting it in story mode...I haven't written a piece of fanfiction in a long time, I needed to let out my creativity lol

This had been going on for about a week (I think?) and so my dad finally fixed it yesterday! He's so cool!

I'M NOT GOING WITH YOU I'M STAYING HOME XD!" and they've gotten used to it! Don't bash me because I JUST noticed this - one time we were driving for 40 minutes, and it was snowing the whole time, and when we reached our destination I got out of the car and said, "[gasp] Oh my gosh! It's snowing!"
