I actually hadn't found out about the latest version of GIMP until I was told about it in the comment section of my lineart tutorial.  Apparently GIMP released the long awaited 2.8 version a few weeks ago, and you can download it here: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/

Actually, I suppose I've been here (checks info) 2 weeks now, busily getting everything set up for when I get back to drawing in earnest.  I'mma get a tablet for my birthday and I cannot wait!

Right now everything I'm uploading is OLLLLDDDD, so it really isn't the best representation of my actual skills.  I assure you in the upcoming weeks I'm going to be uploading all kinds of drawings, from some stylish Art Nouveau Disney princesses to some colorful nostalgic PPG and even Dexter's Lab, along with my usual black and white sketches. ^_^  It's fun to be here and can't wait to share my work and check out e ]]>
