What? What's that? I'm supposed to be working on something called “Out of Darkness?” Whut?

...Oh, that thing! Yeah, that's the reason I've resolved to complete a fanfic and edit the heck out of it waaaaay before I start posting it, no matter how excited me or anyone else may be! That's it!

Anyway, I know you can't tell because a lot of the passages are quotes, but most of these are in present tense. And ones that aren't will probably be changed to it eventually. Because I love me my present tense. We're lovers.

Inside, Outside is my baby. I love it with all my heart, and I've done so much research for it and it's only 35 pages long so far. But it looks like it will turn out to be epically long, so yeah.

Miracle's main idea (being and AU and all) makes me squeal like a little girl. It makes me feel so cleaver, so I kind of cackled constantly as I'm writing it. I'm normal. I thought of it a long long time ago while I was listening to "And Eve Was Weak" from Carrie, the musical (don't ask XD), by the way, without the telekineses/ revenge thing, which is why there is no plot. D8

Everything else is kind of sitting there crying for me to love it more. And this meme-y thing made me look at them again and realize how much I love every single one of them.

I hear they're remaking Little Shop of Horrors. The 1960, non-musical one.

Frank Oz screwed up the muscial pretty bad (the ending, anyway, and few other things, like most of the best songs didn't make it or were change into something weird and shorter. "Now (It's Just the Gas)," for example. Though I'm not really, completely complaining; I still loved it). I wonder what this kid'll do.

I hear he sucks. And that he claimed "it's me; it's going to be dark." And that there won't be any humor in it.

But I don't know, maybe it will be better if they actually have more than two days to make it, and a bigger budget.

Yeah, I know no one knows what I'm talking about. Move along.

By the way, I'm sorry I haven't been commenting or doing much at all lately. I honestly have no excuse other than being lazy. XD

Other stuff: school's out on Wednesday, I'm volunteering at the libarary this summer, I've started writing somethings HUGE and EPIC (that won't appear until it's completely finished), I haven't forgotten anyone's requests, my right hand really hurts for no reason, I need to clean my room, I need to feed my cat, I- [continues rambling endlessly].

Christmas Eve:
I got a brush stuck in my hair. And I couldn't get it out. I'm serious. I had to wait until my mom got home for her to get it out. She was pretty hysterical at first. I think she thought we wouldn't be able to get it out and we might have to shave my head or something. When she saw how lighthearted I was about it, though, I think she calmed down a little. And she got it out. XD

Went to the early service. There were so many crying babies. D8 The sound really, really agitates my (autistic) brother, and they distracted me a lot. (I asked my mom if we could go to the midnight mass next year during the drive home. XD)

We ate food. I don't remember what it was. (I don't even remember what I had for lunch today... Did I even eat lunch today?)

I almost finished an entire scarf. But my hands and arms started to ache VERY painfully so I put my needles down and fell asleep almost instantly. XD

Christmas Day:

Though, my family is sort of keyed in on the commercial side of the Celebration, and not much else. So I REALLY celebrated Christmas when I got home from my Grandparents house, in my room. Read my Bible (the Christmas Story especially, of course), hummed a couple of songs (it was pretty late, and I didn't want to wake anyone, so I just went through the words in my head XD), and wished Jesus a happy birthday. XD Yaaaaay!

Yep. I attempted to write a novel(50,000 words) in 30 days. I even finished early. (50090 words on the 28th)

My gosh. In my desperation to up my word count, I wrote some… pretty odd things.

-My first romance with cannon characters. Dib/Torque, kids. XD (I think that pretty much means that has to be my OTP forever. Oh noes.) I also did some Dib/Zita (far, far in the future), some Gretchen/ Keef, and this little scene in which Zim, Sizz-Lorr, and Gashloog are all fighting over Dib. Heh.

-First smut-flavored thing. I don’t know what else to call it. (It was either Zim/Zim or Zim/ Dib/ Lard Nar… Hehehe.)

Is anyone scared yet? I sure am.

I wrote a lot of killing things too. There was lots and lots of guns. And crowbars. OH! And diseases. I have a whole section dedicated to one shots revolving around Zim unleashing various diseases out into the world. With the help of Dib, of course.

There was also quite a bit of Dwicky torture. Well, there was quite a bit of Dwicky in general. The little bugger kept popping up.

I also cheated a little and also wrote the rest of OoD (that needs heavy, heavy editing, lulz), part of and epilogue that I’m probably not going to post, and the first two or three chapters of Elsewhere.

It all sucks. Every single last word of everything.

Oh well. XD

When I told my mom (who was pretty much the only one interested in my writing and would as me how I was doing with my word count, like, every day) that I was finished, she seriously said, “But… But what are you going to do in your free time now?”

As of right now, my December seems to land me in gaming, knitting, and AMV land. (Every time I listened to any type of music all this month I would be like “MUST. MAKE. AMV.”;)

And maybe some art. Maybe. XD

And I’ll definitely be trying to comment on art and journals much, much more often.

Oh, and a "To Do" list should be up some time today... Hopefully.

"Walt Disney Records will release “Nightmare Revisited,” a collection of covers and new recordings inspired by the 1993 film “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” on Sept. 30.

Danny Elfman re-recorded “Opening” and “Closing” from the film’s score, and Korn, Amy Lee, Plain White T’s, Rise Against, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Flyleaf contribute their versions of songs from the soundtrack."

I just realized that I never told anyone that I completely love requests and trades. To start off, I guess I'll do the '10 Free Requests' thing. You can request (in order of how much I like to do them: ) AMVs, one-shots, multi-chaps under five chapters, and, of course, drawings.

My roolz: I will never touch or do anything even slightly nodding toward sex, I usually do like to do pairing things, but I'll do it if I love you XD, and I don't do things that feature insulting/ hurting a character in an agressive (not poking fun) way.

Long time, no see, eh? Well, I'm alive again.

That means I'll be doing my best to answer and comment things more. And draw/ write. And READ! My gosh. Some fanfics that I love to death have finnished and I haven't even read the end yet. D: (Darkness and Light is at the top of my list, ~LazloTitan, dun worry.)

For anyone who didn't get the newsflash: Elsewhere is no more. Maybe someday I'll pick it back up again, but the ideas I have for it are the same exact things that annoy me when I read fanfics. XD

I'm working on a new idea, though. I'm determined to finnish it, but I'm being a perfectionist. I've written at least five first chapters, and I end up not liking it and getting a new idea. Maybe once I type it, I'll stick with one, final idea.

Sorry if that sounded kinda whiney. I have a knack for that. XD

The good news is that I have art. I just need to get it scanned (and cleaned). Then I can be in DeviantArt and not DeviantSpace. XD

Oh, mai! Boxes?

Yesh! I haven't written a journal in (what seems like) forever, but here it goes.

I decided I really wanted to use boxes, and this CSS was perdy, so here I am!

My dad... he took my violin from me while I was taking a break from practicing, and he started to rape the strings. DX (Well, he was trying to play, but that's what it sounded like.) I was cringing so much, because I was just imagining the strings breaking. XD And then I almost dropped it later, so I had to re-tune it. XDD

My brother and I have put that thing through such abuse. It's got scratches, and dents, and he's tightened the bow so tight, the frog ([link] if you want to see what the frog is. XD) broke off, and I had to get a new bow.

So far I have a cross necklace, a GIR pen, a tin of (very strong) Invader Zim mints, and fuzzy red socks from my stocking.

I can't do anything else until my parents wake up, and I can't wake them up until it's 8, so I have a little more than and hour to wait.

I just found out that Andy Berman (voice of Dib) was born kind of close to where I was. (25.7 miles/ 41.3 kilometers, if you want to get technical). That's like... a fan girl's dream! :'D I never thought learning something could count as a Christmas present.

Now I want to know what it is. He has money, but he also doesn't know much about me and I don't expect him to spend more than $10 on me. I actually sit by the tree and just stare at the present, and pick it up sometimes. I kills me. DX

Yep.

Why must *Insanity-Icons make all of his/her fanfic chapters so long? They're stories are so awesome, but I don't have the time to read all of the chapters. One of them has (from what I've heard) at least 40 chapters. I'm on chapter six. DX

Jack off Jill, Autumn to Ashes, Flyleaf, and Medic Droid are all up there in my favorite bands. Hard to choose now.

If I had to choose my favorite song from all of them (in no order)-

They had the National Atheist Society president and the National Christian Society president in the same room with each other. The atheist was talking about how atheism should be taught in school, and the christian was talking about how being christian makes you a better person.

It didn't snow that much, but the road is frozen, so I don't have school.

STEP ONE
Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your DA journal. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your DA or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- do it. (I will xD)

You need not spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.

1. The Sponge and Patrick are standing outside. (Um... okay...)

2. Patrick runs toward the "mysterious factory that appeared over night," and The Sponge fallows (Ah, Patrick. Idiot.)

3. The Sponge leaves Patrick to look around, and Patrick just stands there. (:iconohnoesplz:)

5. The other (evil, current) Nicktoons magically appear.

kjhnxvgjsr/lgjs/rlkgsf/lkgj When I heard about Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, it wasn't such a big deal to me. Now it is. I NEED it! All of the versions have GIR in it, and the DS version has Zim in it. You need to unlock both of them though, like most of the other classic chars. That's what gamer brothers and cheat codes are for, for I suck at unlocking stuff.

My sewing machine is the spawn of Satan, so I had to do it by hand.

Next time I'm just going to get a new sewing machine. I basically impaled my fingers trying to get my poor needle into the side. Miraculously, my need looks just fine, and so does the backside of my pincushion I used to put pound it in.

Speaking of stuff like that I'm officially abandoning ship on this latch-hook rug my grandma gave me. It's huge and complicated and no thank you.

I have two other ones I might start, or I could do something else. Or I probably won't have time to start or do anything. Or I could just try. Or I could shut up.

I just can't sleep for some reason.

I've played with Photoshop (Elements 3). It was pretty fun, but I still don't understand how great it is. I'll mess with it some more later.

My hand is getting a bit smoother with my tablet! So that's good.

Also, I'd like to ask if there's another way to save Photoshop files, because I have to take a screenshot of the picture from Photoshop and put it on paint and fix the size for DA to take it...

8. How do you feel about anti- people?-
I don't like it when people devote their time to being anti. Poking fun is always great, but hardcore anti- is just stupid. Now, the reason people are anti- is tricky business. They could (in the case of anti-slash) just be homophobes, they don't like any pairing, or simply feel it could never work. Now, if you're just anti and don't go flaunting the fact then I have no problem with that.

9. Same question as 6 but for DaDr (Dib and Dwicky romance)-
Oh, you just HAD to mention that pairing. Maybe JUST MAYBE it would be alright when Dib is older, even though it's still technical pedophilia. And I hate Dwicky for what he did to Dibbeh.

10. Do you like any pairings with GIR in it?-
XD They're usually funny, so yeah I've read a couple fanfics and stuff about it. But I guess GIR just loves everyone, so it comes down to who loves him back XDXDXD
