Wooo lots have been going on.. and guess what? I'm getting off my artist block a little I still have a bit to go, but I'm starting to get back into coloring, I haven't drawn anything new yet, but that's just because I have soo much to color D: like.. 100 drawings or soo... yeah no kidding, so I'm gonna work hard, but not force myself to get them done, because I feel like I'm slacking and I kinda should get back into being more productive..

Ideas: Wedding, Ball, Formal, Special dance, anything you can think of.

1. Must be an original idea; meaning it can't be something you've seen on t.v or by a friend.
2. The dress does not have to be a wedding gown, it can be any style, color or whatever, of your choice.
3. The maximum entries is 3
4. New drawings would be nice, but I will accept old ones ^^
5. ~Fanart is acceptable so go ahead and draw your fan characters, personas and I will accept anthros.
6. It can be after, before or during wedding, ceremony, dance.
7. Be creative.

Illustrate a Song

Q:What do you have to do? A: Illustrate a song into a comic.

Example: I used "Concrete Angel" By Martina McBride (Picture Coming Soon)

Picture this:

"A statue stands in a shaded place
An angel girl with an upturn face,
A name is written on a polished rock,
A broken heart the world has forgot."

I illustrated this in literal terms, drawing what the words say.

The goal is to make a comic using the lyrics of a song and creating an image of the lyrics to make it a visual

You can do a full song, or part of a song that maybe stands out more and has a significant meaning.

Guidelines:

1. Please, please no images of sex, nudity, or violence, I understand that there are a LOT of songs about that stuff. IF that is a problem then Please make the content as MILD as you can, Please keep it at a G to PG-13 rating. Thank you.

2. You aren't limited to any number of pages . Parts of a song can be a one or two pages if desired.

3. I am not looking for high quality work so don't be afraid to make one, I don't degrade any level of art. I understand fully that is is NOT easy to make a comic and not many have that skill or patience.

4. It must be your own idea, and if you want to use fanart in your drawings, you may.

5. The style can be anything of your choice, manga, anime, your own style.

6. If you decide to do a song in another language, in your description you should provide a translation so that people can also understand it. ^^

7. You are limited to doing 2 songs. Each one needs to be a different song.

8. Traditional and Digital media only, this includes scanning and coloring on the computer as well as uploading by camera are also aloud.

9. Lyrics need to be in the comic somewhere and the song title and artist/band name need to be included.

10. You can't do a song someone else is doing.

11. Most important, you can design your comic anyway you want, you can do a storyline comic with a fanart character, your own character, animals, anthros, as long as what you draw displays the song.

What I'm looking for though is a "how to draw people" I was looking at a manga book, but it was shoujo.. and the legs were too long for the females and I didn't like it.

I want a skeletal reference, you know with the lines and circles, with different angles: Front, Side, Back, 45* Angles and so on.

Also I would like to find some background drawing tips for Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9

Coul you also fine me Native American dress references? and any other native information?

Reason: I am going to create my first ever comic, in my own style, generated from a story that I am writing, it has no title yet but it is about a wolf girl named Rosetta and a wolf boy named Ashton. It is based on Native American/Indian culture with Native celebrations and traditions. I'm still working out the plot as I go, trying to decide whether to have a villain type story or a more native twist type.

And by wolf folk I mean they have fur all over there body as well as a tail, ears and claws. But they can stand and have human features as well, there hands aren't paws but human hands just with fur.

If you would like to help me I will really appreciate it, I will also accept help with the comic. I want to stay away from the manga/anime style it is too "cartoonish" for this sort of comic

I really want this comic to be a success. So any help will be greatly appreciated. Also if you would like to read the story please let me know.
