I've noticed there haven't been many aliens being created recently. I kinda miss the days where there were at least 3 interesting ideas being created everyday. Now it's down to about 1 every other day. I guess i've been slacking a lot lately and lost a little interest in creating new things. Now that i've put the Xbox and other distractions aside, hopefully i'll be back to designing new things and getting on with what i said i would

I thought i'd talk about some movies i've seen recently and some that i want to watch Purely because i have nothing else to do right now, and it's too late to start anything. I may start putting how to draw vids on youtube for those begginers out there. So you'll have the pleasure of hearing my voice

Anyways I've just seen Gran Torino today and it was one of those movies which surprised me with how good it was. I didn't expect too much from it to be honest and it ended up being one of the best films ive seen. So if you haven't seen it, go ahead and rent it right now! It's even worth keeping!

Another one that surprised me was Wall-E. Yeah, i know it's a kids movie and i did expect it to be good. But it was still better than i expected. Pixar really worked hard on it and it was really moving in some parts of the film ^_^. So that one is worth watching.

I also watched 'The Bucketlist' a few months ago. One of my favourite films to date. I mean, come on, it's Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman in the same film! What more could you want! But seriously, this film made me cry. Hard. Go and get it, i know it's made me value my life a little more.

Unfortunately, i was stupid enough to see 'Disaster Movie'. And yes, it really is a disaster. It is by far the worst movie i have ever seen. It took some really good movies and took the piss out of them. That's basically the plot behind it. Just pure slapstick comedy that fails all the way through. So i hope that warning was enough to keep you away from that movie.

Pineapple express was another good film. It contained all kinds of humour in there that made me laugh. It makes fun of what most action films do, and they really do it well. But i warn you, if you didn't like superbad (which was great, in my opinion) then don't watch this movie, purely because of some slightly disgusting scenes. It is the same director after all.

Now onto the movies i want to watch.

The trailer for 'Up' really got me interested in the whole concept. The scenes look pretty beautiful too, which isn't surprising for Pixar. Those characters are complete opposites of each other which makes me wonder how they will end up. And finally, that bird just makes me laugh. Just from the trailer. I don't know what it is about that bird. Maybe it's the bulging eyes...im too easily entertained =_=

Another movie i want to watch is 'The Hangover'. It's got some really good reviews, plus i loved the main actor in 'Wedding Crashers' and 'Yes, man'. So, i may watch that next week on my birtday.

I may also watch 'Transformers ROTF' but that has some pretty awful reviews. I may go see it anyway, to pay my respects to the robot designers and animators. That's another option for next week.

1. The colouring can only be of yours and you may not use help from anyone else.
2. Programs can be used to colour and add effects, textures etc.
3. Black and White entries will not be accepted as i feel some might copy the shading which i have already added to the existing linearts.
4. Any style of colouring is accepted. Make it as rough or soft as you like
5. Using only colour and taking away the lineart is acceptable.
6. You cannot claim any of these characters as yours when your entry is posted on deviantart.
7. Give a link in the deviation description to show where the contest is.
8. Any background is acceptable, as long as its not against deviantart rules.

Yeah, i know ive been slacking off but im gonna make up for it by drawing an acceptable peice of art everyday whenever possible. Hopefully it can last at least a year. Tell me your thoughts and keep commenting to keep me wanting to draw everyday

Ok, so i found a website thatcan publish my comic. I was thinking wheter i should publish the first issue after giving you guys a three page sneak peek at it. Maybe youll like it maybe you wont but i need money in which ever way i can to move back to the Philippines after sixth form. Of course ill still keep in touch with you guys and ill still keep making this comic no matter what. But thats 2 years from now so ive got quite a bit to go. Maybe ill go to Japan instead and do something, im not saying its gonna be easy but ill try my best. Toodles, thats all i wanted to say...

Oh, and im not really into drawing digital art right now, currently working on one though. Im working on ironman crossovers, if you know what that means. Im not sure if i know what it means but basically im obsessed with ironman right now so i feel like making ironman helmets n stuff for other marvel characters. Currently working on 'IronPunisher' (crossover of Ironman and the punisher, duh) So yeah, thar you go.
