I already have two pages up for viewing pleasure and the third one is on its way. Other news, I found two remix songs from Night Before Christmas on youtube that sounds pretty good. Here are the links:

[link]

[link]

You may like them or not. Its up to you.

Before I leave, I want to make one thing clear. When I finish my Rise audition comic, I will get to work on the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon comic I started two years ago. I swear on my laptop with my cat as witness, no more distraction, no more forgetting. Now I have to find those pages.

Well, my school life is wrapping up. Only one and a half (i think) weeks left and three more days to finish my Ebon Spire comic. With the time and school work to be done, things are now starting to get tense and energy sources are getting sacred, so I have to try and last until may, where I can sleep in till nine for three months. I got most of the big projects out of the way and now have two tests to study for (unless my classmates manages to blackmail my Tuesday teacher). My comic is coming along well. Almost finished drawing the last few pages since page three is six pages combined. You can understand the strain in that. But I'm having fun drawing this and trying out new positions for the characters so it's not so bad. If I don't make it into this tournament, again, at least my skills would have improved a bit. So that all the news on this end of the screen, have to get back to my comic, and my snack wrap. So long everyone.

Well so far these past few weeks aren't going well for me. The one that hit me the most is not being picked in another tournament. Now I finally realized the problem so I'll do better in the next tournament I enter. So I'm going to try for the Ebon Spire tournament so I have to work fast, but carefully on that, while balancing my homework. My soon-to-be real problem would be my history homework which is to create a comic of twenty panels of something important in history from the list of choices. That won't be too hard since I've been drawing comics for two years, the problem is time and other projects. Luckily things are sorting out now so I may have time to do everything I need to do before summer vacation, where I could try out for another tournament if I don't make this next one.

Hi everybody.

Yesterday the roster for the I-D-D tournament was released. Unfortunately, I didn't make the cut. I was a bit disappointed since it was my first time trying to get into a tournament. I found out that I made some mistakes in the last three pages so that may be it, or my story telling wasn't good enough. I'll just have to try my best in the next tournament. That's easier said than done, finding tournaments in this website is a bit difficult. If anyone knows any tournaments that will be held soon, can you give my the links so I can check them out? As for me, only two more weeks of school left including this week. HAPPY DAYS!!! I still have homework though, but I have the upmost confidences that I will finish them all. See ya later.

Hi everybody.

So far everything is going along ok so far. I managed to get my homework schedule back on track. If no one knows about this so far, let me tell you that the I-D-D tournament deadline is now on November 30th, which gives me time to do my art projects and work on a flash animation for the tournament. This is more of a test than a do-it-more-than-once kind of thing. When I will finish it (or have to attention span to finish it), is a mystery, but I will try my best. Let me warn you that this flash, unlike others, will not have sound effects and voice acting. This is for a few reasons:

1. I have no idea how to input sound in flash. Maya yes, but not flash.

2. I don't have any sound effects to start with.

3. As I said before, this is just a test. I thought if Unknown Person and Zeurel can do it, so can I.

The only problem I'm in so far is buttons. I know how to make buttons, I just don't know how to make them work. When I played the flash in movie mode, it won't stop at the button frame, it just plays all the way through ... continuously. I couldn't even click on it. So if anyone has any advice on how I can fix this, I am happy to read it. That's about it for now. Be sure to check out my skills in the tournament (if I make it).

Well to start things off, I was able to survive my school field trip to New York last Friday. I've been to many places (with the teacher of course) like the Apple store that's right next to Central Park (how I missed that, I have no idea), the New York Public Library, and other places. I've also been taking pictures with my digital camera for a homework assignment that's due Tuesday. The final piece will be in ink, either a hatch-like shading or a wash out, which is like watercolor except with ink. The next day, my legs and shoulders were acing like crazy since I've walked more than ten blocks without rest and my concentration and energy are as wrecked as a broken blender. The thing I hate most about these field trips are the bus rides, but I didn't get sick this time so I was lucky. I still have many art projects to work on, but I've found a way to get them done without panicking (panicking, not a good way to start work) and since the I-D-D tournament deadline is being held back again, it gives me time to focus on them. I may not have time to work on my fun art project that I mentioned in my last journal, but if I do find some time, I will work on it. I may try and post some of them up to see if they'll be accepted as prints or not. Well, that's it for now. I'll keep you all posted if anything else comes up.

It will be a slow process because I have art projects to do for school, plus a school field trip to New York City this friday (which I have to go on) that all illustrators and photography students go to every year. So for the next few weeks I will be focused on my homework art assignments, the I-D-D tournament (if I qualified or not), and a written homework assignment for my only liberal arts (and most boring) class.
Well guys, one of my greatest fears has finally happened. This Tuesday, my laptop went on the fritz. The keyboard lit up as always, but the screen was blank (nothing was there at all, just the color of dispair). So yesterday my dad and I went to a repair shop close by to have it fixed. This means that I will be laptop-less for at least five days, which means I won't be able to work on my comics or any future artwork. The only way I can use the internet is useing the computer downstairs. The problem with that is that the computer keeps freezing on me whenever I tried to look at anyones work on this site. There is another computer in my house, but there's no mouse so it's completely useless. So you probably won't see me during this week, but I will check in often for tornaments like the Law of Talos. See ya later and wish my laptop good luck.

EDIT:

Good news everybody... I finally have my laptop back today!!! So my artwork can get back on track and I'll be able to download things again. So look forward for updated comic strips and new artwork.
