Not because of food (I hate Thanksgiving food), but because I'm spending it with one of my favoritest people in the whole world. . It's gonna be loads of fun. I'm bringing her some MegaTokyo and something else (either my NaNo or World's End), and she's gonna show me some Scorpling and Walmart and... other things. Also, we're gonna play. Rock Band or something. If I'm not sick again tomorrow then I'll be the one singing. I really don't think she wants to hear me croak into a microphone... XD
Anyway, anyway, I promised two fics, and I got blocked on one thanks to Kishi and the other one... I'm still gathering ideas for.
The bigger deal is NaNoWriMo though. I've been doing that all month, as well as trying my hardest not to flunk all my classes. Not as easy as it sounds... But yeah, that huge novel of mine distracted from the fics I promised. So if I get through my work for the break, and my Harvest Moon Game, of course, then I'll write the Hetalia one. It won't take very long. Prolly two or three boiling showers to get the brain going, and then an hour or so at the computer... that's all I need. So I'll try my best! If not now, then New Year. Maybe....
Other than that... I realized my drawing sucks. Really sucks. I drew three pianos during math because I didn't want to do my homework... and yeah, they kinda stunk. I don't know if it's perspective, or just plain holding the pencil that's my issue. This is why and are my artists.
BTW ! Look at the USxUK! Doesn't it make you happy?
So that's it. Just living and surviving day after day. And spending time on dA to look at Hetalia things. So cute!

OMG I'm such a band-geek, I just realized I'd never heard any Earth, Wind, and Fire until it was in our Half time show last year, and I only got the CD because I wanted to hear what it actually sounded like *coughourbrasssuckedcough*. Same with Dangerous, which was actually a popular, recent song. My fingers twitch into clarinet positions when I hear it. OTL. I miss our fail band.

Anyway,,, one picture of me made it onto DA... which makes me mad that I posed for all those pictures, but I'm past caring. Because... GhettoCon2.0 (really 1.5) is soon. It's a tiny convention that's got nothing going for it, except the yaoi mosh pits(A term I wouldn't know it if wasn't for Marching Band. ;_; ). And seeing the cosplayers, of course. The merchandise is so-so. But here's hoping I can go.

Other news.... Naruto *kinda* appeared in a chapter in the manga. But it's still a Sasuke-fest, so IDK. I need you guys to work with me on my one-shot. Fan service or no, just vote. I'm leaning towards the first, with less of the fan service and more tragedy but... I am a dA writer through and through. I need input from the readers. So please vote! If you do, I can 100% promise a Hetalia one-shot in the near future.

It's for the story, I can't make up my mind what I want to do with it... and also, what would the characters do? Honestly, with Kishi's writing lately, I could do whatever the hell I wanted, and it would be cannon, but honestly... you guys decide. Happy times or no?
That's it for me... haven't had much going on to keep me coming to DA... nothing on DA to attract me with, really. I don't want fandom to kill Hetalia for me... it kinda raised my expectations of Naruto, and look where that's headed.

1. Introduce yourself. Tell your cosplay name or whatever name you go by when you cosplay.
I go by Chiyo, mostly, and sometimes that small girl, and once, bite-sized sushi.

2. How did you get into cosplay?
My friend. She was big into anime and dragged me to a con... which resulted in my first cosplay.

3. How long have you been cosplaying?
Since middle school.

4. How many cosplays have you done?
Three, I think.

5. How do you get your costumes?
I mostly put together clothes I find or alter them to fit the costume I'm trying to achieve.

6. What is your first cosplay? Why did you choose it? And how do you feel about it?
It was Cardcaptor sakura, the black and white butterfly (which was really green ). I made it last minute before the con... the night before, actually. The hat was missing, I had the wrong staff, my wings kept falling off... but I really liked it. I got tons of hugs.

7. What is your favorite cosplay? why?
The Sakura, I guess. Because it was my first, and it was very comfy. The ones following it? Not so much....

8. What is your favorite thing about cosplaying?
Playing pretend like you are the character, and all the hugs, of course.

9. Got a Cosplay pet peeve? If yes, what is it?
Badly made costumes (and I mean ones that people put NO effort into, not ones that amateurs make), generic costumes (I've been guilty of that >_> and people who win contests with bought costumes. It really isn't fair.

10. Tell me about your most recent cosplay.
I'm making a Chiyo-penguin, from Azumanga Daioh. It's going to be so amazing. I'm still confused about certain aspects like zippers and how it'll hold its shape, and how hot it'll be. But yes, it'll be my first made entirely by hand. I'm very excited.

It's almost con season, so I'm all riled up. Anyway, working on that story, so it'll get to ya soon.

I finished part of my summer work, and wrote about.... 5 pages worth of the NaruHina that is supposed to be a one-shot... and I spazzed about penguin-suits... all in all an eventful 24 hours.
Yep. Also I'm one of the only one of my friends who HAVEN'T seen Harry Potter yet. Ciest la vie, I'll see it eventually. I mean, it came out yesterday. Why go and see it the very next day? I love Potter fans but a movie is so hard to pay attention to when the people watching it are more interesting to look at... sorry people in robes are just funny. In a good way.
Anyway I may have this story done and up by tomorrow, but don't count on it. I have a lot of catching up to do. It's pretty difficult to keep up with a story that's moving so fast.
Anyway that's it. I've got a lot to do, and summer is almost over. Busy busy busy!

Um... I uploaded the rest of Scorpling. So people can read it. It was not edited one bit (except one chapter, but it had to be done) so it prolly sucks. I don't really care though, and I want to hear what you guys think! So read and review it please! Also... I think I edited all that I needed to. If not... oops. I'll fix that when I get the chance. Also if there were any chapters that needed maturing and I forgot to do that, please tell me. IDK if there are any in this story but... just give me a heads up on that, please.

In other news.... the NaruHina is moving along. It's kinda deep crap about nothing, but isn't that what most stories are made of? No? Oh, never mind then, that's just me. Anyway I should have it done and given to ya by... the end of the week? IDK.

And in other news.... I hate PDA. It's gross and cutesy and bleah (great adjectives, right?). And it sends minds into over drive (not in a dirty way, I just over think things WAY too much.) and... it's just too much TMI. ...I meant it's TMI. Not too much TMI. Because that would be weird.... and I'm repeating myself. Moving on... it's gross and I think people shouldn't do that where certain other people can see them. It's just like mocking them.

Okay, I've been plagued for the past few weeks with a story idea, so I'ma run with it. It's not SasoDei, which means the readers of it will be... IDK, one person, and only because she reads whatever I put up here. It's a NaruHina and it's kinda angst-y. And sad. But that's just because of my mood right now....

... Nah, I don't feel like sharing. It's really nothing. And I'll get over it soon enough... it's just really.... out of the blue.

Bah, I'm babbling. I'm gonna just go now, work on the angst-y NaruHina, and all my other things to do.

On a brighter note (or not), I'll be working on my penguin cosplay so that means less time online. Which means less brooding for me, but less updates for you. But no one really reads these anymore. So yeah.

Onto the chapter...

NARUTO 450! SPOILERS FOLLOW!(and an analysis of the chapter):

Alright, so it starts off with Kakashi coming to Naruto's aid. They return to the village, and everyone is waiting for Naruto. The entire village has acknoledged his existence, and thus a dream becomes reality. The Hokage part, however.... I'll get to that later.

So Naruto gets mobbed by fanboy ninja, who want to know everything about the fight. Hinata is tucked away in the crowd, crying out of sheer joy that Naruto made it back in one piece.

Sakura then breaks through the crowd to punch Naruto in the head, thereby enabling her to hug him and thank him. And Hinata is actually okay about this. Kakashi, however, seems a bit disturbed, if you look at him closely. Or maybe he's tired.

Iruka has a flashback about Naruto when he was younger and salutes (maybe?) him as the fanboys toss Naruto into the air.

Now the happy fuzziness ends as the Akatsuki realize they need more members and a secret meeting is called in Konoha. Tobi says he's got better things to do, and sends Kisame to find Killer Bee. Zetsu does... whatever Zetsu does.

Then Team Cloud. I really don't remember what they are doing, but one almost destroys Konoha by throwing a pebble after being insulted. Almost seems like Team 7, don't you think? Naruto and Sakura argue (or this might be more of Sai and Sakura) and Sasuke stalks away. Happier times. Or not...

Now that happy times are over, Naruto goes to see Tsunade, who is in a coma and might actually look her own age because she overworked herself summoning those slugs, among other things.

At the secret meeting, the elders discuss damage costs, and Danzo cuts to the chase about the next Hokage. The old people (with the exception of the Daimyo) have decided Tsunade is as good as dead. Shikamaru's dad sees what Danzo is up to, and nominates Kakashi to be the 6th Hokage. The old people do not approve because they hated the Third (well, Danzo convinces them that everything is the Third's fault) and Danzo nominates himself. Shikamaru's dad (what is his name?)tries to stop this shenanigans, but the Daimyo has decided that Danzo is the right choice, and will become the 6th Hokage.

... see, this is what I meant about the Hokage dream. Crushed. So now Danzo the evil dictator has been given the seat of Hokage, and Sasuke is coming to destroy Konoha. And Naruto has fanboys. This is the most plot development I've seen in this manga in a while. Good job Kishi. I don't approve of how the Pein thing was handled, but you're on the right track.

Well, that Chapter kinda... well, sucked. I think I've given up on this manga.... really, Kishi just crushed my hopes of an actual evil won't-be-shaken-from-their-goal evil organization... okay, MOST of the Akatsuki were evil. Their acting leaders however...

And that jutsu at the end was pretty ridiculous. Why didn't Jiraya come back, and Yahiko? (I think Kishi forgot) In fact, why didn't Nagato do that earlier, when Yahiko died? ...Oh wait, maybe they revived people will turn into more God Realm Bodies, and it'll be revealed that Konan's the real evil behind the Akatsuki... yeah right, not with Kishi writing the story lines. Getting almost as bad as Stephanie Meyer there, Kishi. DX

Oh yes, Sasuke is coming back. Maybe Kishi's little Sasuke-sue can save a failing manga? Please, please, epic fight to the death, or something good and violent.
... nah, too much to hope for. Is the manga ending in another 100 chapters a bit more reasonable to hope for?

That is page one (The WIP version) of the doujin version of Scorpling. She's been working on it since I left (I don't even remember when that was... XD). There are about...4 pages up on DA, so you can get a sneak peek at it. Anyway, in light of that, I may (and this is a BIG may) re-upload Scorpling. I mean, I really don't see any reason not to. I mean, it is the best one of my DA works (which isn't saying much, since there was only WE and a few one-shots as competition) and I enjoyed working on it. Only issue? Laziness, and.... yeah, procrastination. >_>;

So yeah. That's all I really think I need to put in this journal. I'm really surprised at how fast everything changed, but I mean, it is the internets, I shouldn't be surprised. XD I have no clue about this 'replacement' for Naruto as favorite fandom, Axis Powers Hetalia, so I guess my heyday in the spotlight is over. Which is okay. I really don't mind at all. But I've missed DA, and it's good to be back. :3

Clarifying the bit about World's End. I don't want to put it back on because... well, frankly, it sucked. It was the first thing I ever wrote and the characters are all OOC. Even for an AU, it was pretty bad. Also, plot was out the window, as was character development.... I mean, yes there are parts that were brilliant, but they're scattered all over... I know you guys liked it but I can't put it back up. I'm sorry.
