I'm trying to get into fractal art again, any new things, programs plugins stuff I should know about?

I'll try tackling the fractal theory in the next months, the math needed to be exact. I want to get some work done on fractals for my (bachelor thesis? finish work, what is the name bah). Don't really have anything thought out so ideas will be helpful. And my english has gotten even worse, expect weird sentences and all around fail.

1. I failed the year... it's a weird situation where I have no idea whether to laugh or cry. Cry: there is so much beating my pride can take, considering that most of my friends (same department?) have passed the year, never mind how mean the new generation is. Laugh: the same friends are now 24/7 studying and I am ... sleeping :XD: oh and sometimes I remember to look at the textbooks :lmao:.
