On the day of Halloween I took some amazing photo's.
I impressed myself...
Some I wasn't very sure they would come out but they did.
So I was happy.

Then yesterday, November 8th, me and a few friends went to the park.
I took some adorable picture's of my friends baby.
They are her Halloween photo's, but a little late.
I was sick on the week of that holiday and didn't get to get out and do them.
We tried a week ago and miss grumpy pants wasn't in the mood.
So we did it this weekend.
She was a happy camper...thank goodness.

A funny story:
Were hanging around and I was snapping the camera at Ambretta...
When my friend noticed a cute young "scene" couple sitting at a bench eating lunch.
They were telling me I should go and ask them if I could take their photo.
I am a shy person especially when it comes to just going up to someone and asking to take their picture.
So my friend goes up to them and asks and they said sure.
I took a few photo's and they turned out pretty decent.
I probably would have done better if it wasn't so awkward and I had some ideas.
Lol, but it worked out.

So some more news, a friend is gonna help me set up a site for my photography.
Which I hope we go through with it cause I have been recently wanting to do this.
I would like to maybe try to sell some prints.
Would be amazing if I could...

It was so much fun, I haven't been in a boat in years.
I sound like an old lady in my 40's but it's true.

I never imagined I would get a beautiful picture of a sunrise.
But I did and I am very excited.
I got up pretty durn early for it too.
Was just amazing, I mean looking at the water watching that.
You can't see something that amazing in the city.

I also got some great photo's of some sailboats.
Never thought I would see some of them close up like that.
I wish we could have stayed there longer.
I just enjoyed sitting and starring out at the water.
Watchting all kinds of boats and jetski's passing by.
Just relaxing...

Once we got back into this city, it was so depressing.
I'm still depressed...
But hopefully we will be going soon.

But yea, I'm gonna start trying to do some "Street/Urban" type photography.

Even though I'm still learning the setting's and stuff like that.
It take way way better pictures than the normal digital camera I used.
The newest pictures I have uploaded have been with the Nikon.

Me and my friends had another photo shoot yesterday; New Years Eve.
It did great although I don't think we were using the right backgrounds.
The white curtain we used was fine, it worked great.
But there was a patterned curtain we used and it just didn't fit right with my friends skin tone and just flushed the whole picture out.
Made everything look pale.
So I think we need to stick with darker backgrounds or just plain white.
So hopefully next time it will turn out much more better.

Every once in a while I will see a nice artistic piece of work.
But the whole section is polluted with nasty porn crap.
Having a girl spread her legs and taking a picture of her nasty cooter isn't art.
Doesn't matter is its black and white or from a certain angle.
I may not be the best photographer or know a whole lot but I do know what makes good art and what doesn't.

And these guys that take webcam pictures on their things.
Not cute or flattering in any way.
I'm straight and rather look at a woman's boobs.
Its honestly ugly and nothing that artistic about it.
Your body IS a work of art in itself but come on.
Don't just full on snap a picture of it.

I honestly think when those picture's just for that section are submitted.
They should be examined and accepted before they are posted for everyone to see.
Would save a lot more space for others work.
But that probably would be hard to do since a lot get submitted in a matter of seconds.

Hopefully I'll get some better snow shots than I did last year.
Since I have learned more about how to take a good picture.
But its hard to get a good snow picture in the city.
Because when it snows its usually late at night and in the morning all the snow is yucky and slushy.
Even in the fall.
Its hard to get a good shot.
Cause all the traffic that you wouldn't want in a picture ends up in it anyway.
Sucks very much.
I tried to get some shots of the trees outside my house but...
the cars and houses got in the way.
But the tree's and leafs look great.
Well I'll just keep trying.
Need to go to the park or something.

I pretty much taught myself the basics about it.
Some of my newest pictures looks way better than my old ones.
I believe my skills are getting better.
I used to just take pictures of anything and say "Hey its photography".
Well I was wrong on most of them.
Just cause it looks good doesn't mean it IS that good.
Right?!
Now when I take a picture I look around and try to find something maybe meaningful to capture.
I always try to find a dramatic feel to it.
Like it actually means something.
I do however have so much to learn.
But so far pretty good, I mean Practice Makes Perfect right?!
& not only am I getting more advanced in the Photography scene, I'm also in designing things on a computer, using Photoshop[Well GIMP].
The newest Wallpapers I made, they were put together in a matter of seconds.
& to me they look pretty decent.
Its just weird how before Myspace came along I didn't know how to do any kind of "Web Design" work.
I pretty know all the codes and stuff.
My friends always usually ask me to do their profile, lol.
Kinda weird.

Also I saw the new Batman movie.
Saw it opening night.
I'm not usually into Batman superhero movies but this one was actually awesome.
I mostly saw it cause of Heath Ledger & the fact he played the Joker.
Which he did an amazing job.
Just makes me even more sad he's gone.

Had to take it & get if fixed cause of its glitchy-ness.
I hate not having my camera, Its like I have withdraws & have to take pictures. lol.
The first time we had to take it in to have it fixed I resorted to the camera on my cell phone. hahaha, doesn't take very good quality pictures. So didn't work very well.

I just hope I gets fixed before I go to Chicago.

It was just weird seeing actually human body's & the muscles & bones...[etc.]
But overall it was amazingly crazy.

anyways...after we saw that we went to the park & hung out there for a while. Hung out by this little rock stream that lead to a small pond. Was very pretty.
There's only a few beautiful things in this city and one is that park.
But its a shame how people just litter.
I got some pretty pictures though. They turned out better than I thought they would to honest.
I'm an "amateur" at photography but am learning.
Practice makes perfect. =D
