I'm taking two lit classes: Shakespeare and Intro to Masterpieces. And I'm taking two psych classes: Psych of Gender, and Child Development. I'm excited!!!

4. Princess Aurora. I LOVE this one. She's my favorite Disney princess. Maybe she didn't do much and has some serious sleep issues, but she's kind.
5. Prince Eric. Sure, we'd be screwed if a siren song told him to start a war, but mostly he's sweet, has a good sense of humour (even about himself), and isn't afraid of personally taking on the villains.

Overall, it was better than I had anticipated. I knew the music and general plot, but connecting it all in the way they did was just fabulous. And the effects! I knew how it was done, but it still created wonder in me. The only thing I was disappointed in were some of the notes that lost power. They just weren't as big as I was used to with the Broadway recording, but I still loved it, really. (The sound guy needed to re-think some stuff. The mics kept picking up the wrong things. Faded in and out) but the rest of the techie in me was greatly pleased.

Anyway, with about half my journals, this one is pretty pointless. Just haven't updated in awhile. I know some people do journals only like twice a year, but that's not my style. I don't like having things too old on my page for too long.

Other news...Well, I have a pretty boring life. My highlight this week is going to an Alchemy Club meeting because they're starting a program of going to Elementary schools and showing the kiddies experiments ie:blowing stuff up. It's exciting. Adds to teaching credentials, too. So it's all good.

Next month, I'm super excited to chaperone 's zoology field trip. I don't actually have to watch a group. Me and the lovely Shika just get to wander about and look at animals. S'going to be awesome.

Oh yeah, I also took a lot of pictures of roses this weekend. (It was a weekend full of learning. ) Also took quite a bit of Bailey, as per usual. And even a video of my other (rarely mentioned) dog, attempting to get her frisbee down from a tree.

#1) I have two spinal cords. Yep, they're still both intact and in me, which I didn't know until this July. I thought one was removed. It's weird that they're both just floating around in there.

#2) My middle name means "Whim" or "Passing Fancy" Let's see if it can be guessed.

#3) I can make almost anything into an innuendo. Even without meaning to.


#4) I have a laptop solely for writing. gave it to me to work on her story (though I've totally defeated that purpose) and it's really old and has no purpose or function but writing. I even have to save to a floppy disk, it's that old.

#5) I have a lot of Danish pride, for some reason. More than any other part of my heritage.

#6) Liz and I realized that about 7 or 8 people have talked to me about their sex lives, unprovoked. I'm just the person people turn to for that, I guess

#7) For no explanable reason, I hate Tom Hanks. Not to the point I wish him harm or death or anything (although career death would be great). Like I said, no reason, I just do.

#8) Getting to watch Stephen Hawking in class really excites me. I bask in his brilliant glow.

#9)I've named all my future children already. I want 4. Two boys, two girls and the middle names have been chosen, too. So has the wedding theme, location, dress, and song. My husband is so screwed if he wants anything different.

#10) I really like having fish as pets. I've had over 50 in my lifetime, not that they don't last long, I just have a lot at one time. I have "Tiberius" and "Pavel" as of today.

Alright, so at 1:30 am YESTERDAY morning, not today's 1:30 am, but yesterday's, I was watching Adult Swim and saw the ad for Robot Chicken on Wheels and reminded myself I really wanted to go. So, I looked up the info, and during daylight hours, I asked Ashby () to go with me, because I'm not travelling way downtown by myself. And who the fuck am I kidding, I wasn't missing an opportunity to see/meet Seth Green! Seth Green! I've been a fan of his for half my life, seeing almost everything he's been in, and loving every bit of it. Furthermore, he has my favorite boy's name, and one of my kids is technically going to be named after one of his characters (Oz from Buffy). So this is serious buisness, y'all.

Here's our adventure:
We left at 6. Originally it was going to be 7 since it didn't start til 8, but we figure people might be there and there might be traffic. We got lost 2 or 3 times. We didn't ARRIVE til 10 til 8. We walked a couple blocks and there we were, at the end of the line on the sidewalk. Known as "the sidewalk people" cameras documented our liney-ness. There were Stormtroopers and some kid was a Jawa. It was pretty sweet. And there was a huge screen that played Robot Chicken Star Wars episodes. That kept us entertained. We also made a friend, since we took her picture and she took ours for us (with the Snow-land Troppers ) I like to call her "Rad" because I never learned her name. ANYWHORE, we were in line for two hours, before we actually got in. By then, the skating meet/greet opportunity was gone, and Gym Class Heroes (not a fan) got to play blah blah blah. It probably would've been a bummer/dissapointment without this little bit of awesome:

Ooh, the exciting part! (Yay) The teenagers in front of us were getting their picture with the Stormtroopers, so I moved out of the way onto the sidewalk. I turn around and not two feet from me, Seth Green rollerskates by. I froze like a deer in the headlights. Wasn't expecting him to be outside, nor right frickin' there! It was like the moment to complete my Willowness. There was Oz, right there. It was FUCKIN' SWEET! According to Ashby, he almost fell near me. How awesome would it be to help Seth Green up? Anyway, that's my tale. I'm extremely happy and still kinda shaken. FREAKIN' AMAZING! To be honest, I needed this. I needed a pick me up. Been a little haywire lately. If he comes back next year, I'm going early. WAY early.

-I'd love to be Jessica Rabbit. She's totally been my idol for the longest time, plus, she's married to Roger. Who DOESN'T want that?

Now that I've said that, I'll probably be saddened to write only a little.

Anywhore...*spoiling time*

It was freakin' amazing! My favorite one yet. Even though they changed, left out, (and even added in) some major stuff that just wasn't right (will spoil that later), it was overall fantastic.
Our theater was pretty awesome to begin with. Almost everyone dressed up and , , , Kyre, and myself went. So, we had a bitchin' group. But then there were the nerds. Oh those fabulous, loveable nerds! We had two people counting down every hour, then we had this HUGE group who had almost everyone imaginable (but no Ron ) and they did epic battles three times that night. Then, there were a couple of jedis who sneaked in (my infamous cousin Aubrey was upset because her best friend wouldn't let her take her lightsaber at their showing), and there were some awesome dementors who got all the ladies.

Stuff I loved:
First off, all the Ron screen time. Yes, Ron finally got his glory in this movie and it was fantastic. I hope people see he's been the best actor of the three all along. Him on love potion was fantastic, it's what I was looking for in the left out brain-touching of OOTP
Dan and Emma have gotten better. Emma is more the reason why I hate Hermione so. She makes her annoying, and at times intollerable. I always hated that she was favored when all she did was waggle her eyebrows. BUT SHE LEARNED TO ACT IN THIS ONE! She was even cute when she smiled, talking about her parents. You could actually feel the emotion in her tones and her sobs and whatever else because she actually tried. I'm so proud
Surprisingly, Ron's love interests. I have been worried for YEARS whether I could make it through HBP with the whole Lavender thing, but Jessie played the perfect upset and lovelorn fangirl, that I couldn't help but love her. Even when her face was attatched to Ron's. And, so help me Merlin, after Ron was poisoned, and Hermione was with him in the wing, her holding his hand was cute! Doesn't make me an R/Hr person. That will NEVER happen, but it was actually pretty cute.
Furthermore, I love that the movies finally show Hermione as the crazy bitch she is. They sent the canaries after Ron, had her hitting him for eating, hitting Harry for his pride, just excellent examples of why she's not as loveable as people who just see the movies think. (I actually laughed at the scene where she cries because Ron was with Lavender. So many years come to fruition. I know it makes me evil, but I have to give in to the dark side a little bit)
Malfoy. Malfoy was so torn, and hurt, and worried this whole movie. It makes you feel for him.
Luna. I love that girl. Everything she says or does just makes me happy. She was perfect for the role.
And so was the guy they picked to be Blaise Zambini. He was exactly how I pictured him.

So, I take an online American History class right now. Getting credits done early to leave community college (no, siriusly I hate it). Anywhore, our discussion topic this Unit was "Who was the most influential or successful president between 1800-1824. Why? Use evidence to support your claim" Well, turns out there could only be three presidents during this time period to choose from: Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe. After looking at the history of the presidency for each, I decided to report that Monroe was the most influential. Here's why: he made himself known to the public, toured states, kissed babies, stuff like that. He abolished slavery forever in states west and north of Missouri in the Missouri Compromise AND he declared that America ought not meddle in Europe's affairs, and Europe should do the same for America (the Monroe Doctrine). Which is huge, as America was still new enough to adjust to its new wings of freedom, this was showing another step towards being independents.

HOWEVER, you know who everyone else picked? Thomas freakin' Jefferson. I became an anti-fan of him reading his quote that "the tender breasts of ladies were not formed for political convulsion". Ew, Jefferson. Really? BUT, I decided to see why my classmates thought this (because it's sort of a requirement to respond to them, as well). And they were all "he was great, he did the declaration of independence and said he wanted "equal and exact justice for all men" and he established the University of Virgina. Yaaay!". Well let me tell you something (that I told like eight of my classmates) all of that 'great' shit Jefferson did had NOTHING to do with his presidency! Nothing! It all happened before or after, or not at all as he kept slaves and wanted to keep women down (obviously this equality he spouted about wasn't heartfelt). THEN they put in something about the Louisiana Purchase and how it opened trade. Dandy, except that MADISON organized that junk. It was UNDER Jeffy's presidency, but it was NOT Tommy boy's work.

There was ONE person who said "I'll say Madison was the most influential", but that was only because she didn't want to conform and say that Jefferson was, even though she honestly thought Jefferson was the right choice.

Maybe I'm just reading too much into it and ranting but I still think that answers should have been about what was accomplished during the actual presidency otherwise, each man would just be an American icon for his deeds, like Nathan Hale or Benjamin Franklin.

EDIT: I checked back to see what people replied to my posts, and some appreciated the other view points, but one girl I had apparently pissed off so she came to mine said something about "That's the great thing about being an American citizen, you get to have your own opinion" and then proceeded to ask me what Harrison did in his 32 days as president that made him the best choice. That was a joke at the BEGINNING of my post, so obviously she didn't even read it. THEN I found someone who titled their post "DUH" and said it should be Jefferson because he liked art and music and junk. See kids, you don't necessarily have to be smart or eloquent to be in college, give it a try!

Anyway, this is turning into one of the best weeks ever. I'm not sure if it's championed by the fact that last week didn't go so hot, but I'm thinkin' it's more due to the fact that I got to go see RENT with two of its original cast members, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp. It was completely and utterly indescribable. But on the 'good' side of the spectrum. Like off the charts fantastic. Then, the night after, I got to go to a carnival. It wasn't all that I had planned/hoped it would be, but my love of carnivals prevailed over that. Saturday will be one of my favorite places, Ren Fes, with some of my favorite people (Shika, Noah, Vicki, Mia, Kenton, Mitch, CJ, to name a few ) So I'm assured that that will be fantabulous.

I intend to keep uploading things from my most recent shoot. However, I only posted one today and there's a reason for that. It's a very meaningful dedication to one of my loved ones.

I have a lot of photos and such in stock, but I never feel like naming them and putting them up.

Also, I'm dissapointed how few people in my generation know who Stephen Hawking is! Siriusly, children. He's one of the most famous geniuses! Right up there with Einstein! I LOOOOVE Stephen Hawking. I get very excited when we get to watch him in science classes. I enjoy watching his genius and hearing his explanations.

Um...We all know how much I like pimping talented people. This time, it's TEN year old Sam Verlinden. I mentioned him in my deviation Blue Moon. But I doubt everyone looked at it or looked at the artist's comments (I don't understand why people don't read them. Usually they answer half the questions that later get asked by idiots.) Anyway, I got really off topic. I figured more people would see him here, and he really deserves to be checked out. It will be a sad day when puberty threatens his talent, hopefully a voice change would only make him better, but...he's really fantastic. I urge you to look.

Completely unrelated, but I'm eating cheddar pancakes. First created (or at least brought to me) by the lovely ~SirStompington and her father, cheddar pancakes are just delicious. You put shredded cheddar into your pancakes while they're cooking. The cheese gets melty inside, but it's still encompassed by the sweetness of pancake. I swear Stomps should open a resteraunt and fill it with her weird creations. She'd make millions if people weren't too scared to try them. They all sound weird, but are delicious in the end.

Guy: drives her home. she steps out of the car, angry, scared, and helpless.

Guy: acting like everything went okay and they had fun, he yells out the window "good night baby, see you later."

Girls parents: How was the movie sweetie ?

the girl just looks at them, and goes up to her room.

Oh, and I watched The Notebook last night, to avoid reading it. It pretty much blew. All the hype about it failed when I actually watched it. All the romance was copped out by their juvinielle, conditional love and sudden "I hate you! :lesmack:" fights. It was like Romeo and Juliet got to live...so they became old and fought. Yep.
