I moved to Ottawa.
Yup.
Moved in with my lovely friend Sara.
Her parents were nice enough to offer me a room, low rent, and help me get a life own started!
I'm very excited and appreciative about all this.
So I am also getting into the music scene, because unfortunately I didn't get very far with it all in Kingston.
I am helping Sara do a street team n stuf on myspace for our friends amazing band, Around Tiffany.

I am also in the middle of a job search, should be fun. lol

I am going to be moving BACK into my grandmothers house and therefore will have FULL ACCESS to my computer. Therefore I will be back on DA! YAY!

Task number two will be to get a subscription to DA so that I can catch up on ALL the new devs on my watch list. I saved them all over the past year. Really. I just need to go through them all. Which will take forever without a sub. Least with a sub I can see thumbnails and stuff. But yea, I just thought I'd let everyone know about that.

Secondly, I attended the Taste Of Chaos tour's Ottawa date this year and my friends and I took a lot of REALLY great pictures which I will upload on here near the end of the month once I am settled in. Some nice eye candy for you.

I'm keeping this update short and sweet, but I will be home soon my children.

My mother has a tumour on her brain stem and we are in the process of closing our store, which we worke our asses off to keep for almost 10 years. So that's difficult and time consuming. I'm still living at my friends house, so I'm lucky to get the computer once a month lol. (I'm writing this from shcool ) But yeah, hopefully, possibly, I will be on this weekend sometime. *cross your fingers!* So yea, oh and boys suck. LONG story...lol

So, on a lighter note, who has the new my chem cd? it's so...ugh...I donno. I like it tho. I heard they were gonna make it into a musical, which would actually be kinda kool. All morbid and shit. So I still haven't gotten around to getting a new subscription, and it makes me sad inside. lol I have too many other things to spend muh money on! I'm gettin a new cell phone like at the beginning on May, it's exciting. haha

So last nite, I went to my friends house to get drunk. And it was awesome. I was so excited cuz this guy was coming and I really wanted him...boy was that a mistake. He went crazy. Like my friends parents were so mad, he was so loud and freaking out and stuff. It was bad. His friend that came out with him was cute tho. I spent the nite with him cuz buddy was being an asshole. nothing happened tho He passed out lol. We were like laying and talking, and stuff, and we both just kinda fell asleep. He slept for a good 3 or 4 hours, and then thru the nite pretty much. I woke up soon after falling asleep, cuz I had to go help everyone find the crazy kid lol. He spent some time in the bath tub, the cars, chillen in the corner. It was really fucked up.

The worst part is, that I'm like hardly ever gonna get to chill with these kids again. Like the one was so cute and sweet and so cuddly lol. They are never allowed to come out and party with us again.

So ya, that's how I spent my weekend. It was kinda a letdown. How was your weekend?

Hey!

Anyone wanna help me design my tattoo? I have an idea for a couple actually, or if you have any ideas I'm open for suggestions.

You see, I had decided against a tattoo, because I wanted to get snakebite piercings instead. But when I said something to my grandmother about it, she freaked out and fed me the line "Not under my roof your not." Therefore, that idea is gone...until I move out next fall or whenever.

So, I need to come up with a tattoo design preferrably by the middle/end of April. I'm going to hold in my ideas until someone is willing to help me. Not that I think anyone will steal them but *shrugs.

I have decided that I want something My Chemical Romance related. Don't tell me it's stupid. I've been thinking about it for a long time, and they meant enough to me in this stage of my life that it would warrant tattooing them on my body. I just don't know what I want yet. I'm going to get it on the right side of my back (Not the middle, that's way too overdone) or on my left shoulder, depending on the design.

Anyways, ya if anyone has any ideas or drawing skills, let me know.

I will try and do something as a thank you/reward/prize, but I'm not sure what I can come up with. I can maybe buy you a 3 month subscription or print or sumtin. I'm poor but I'll try. No one seems to help anyone n e more if they don't get sumtin out of it so *shrugs.

So I have decided that I am very interested in being a guitar/keyboard tech, but I have no idea how to go about it. I know very little about it, however with a little help I know I could do it. It would be the perfect thing for me, because I love music and want to do something with it, however I would rather be in the background.

Does anyone know anything that could help me out?

Being from a small town in Canada, I know this is going to be effing hard. I'm not involved in the local music scene because well, there isn't much of one. I am trying tho, and I will be going to shows and trying to get more involved. Anyways, any help/tips would be appreciated!

I was wondering if anyone knew of any college programs as well, that would help a little, like sound engineering or n e thing, b cuz I graduate high school, well, soon any way, and I would like to have an idea what to do after.

So I have had strep throat, all week. I missed out on major work hours, which means major money loss, which means no camera for me. Well, at least not right now. Which sucks majorly. I also missed an exam, so I have to go Monday and write that shit. I hate school, I want to drop out, badly lol. I despise it more than...certain people.

So there is this guy....who works at Subway in the mall....who is absolutely GORGEOUS! He looks like Gerard Way. I shit you not. I wanna kiss him all over. From what I could tell (by like ya know, paying him n him givin me muh change...lol) he is very nice lol. I even had a dream about him last nite lol. He's so...*sigh. Next time I go to the mall, I'm goin to subway, and I'm like...I donno askin him his name or age or sumtin lol I need to know! I figure he is about 19-25...lol Preferrably like 19 or 20....and preferrably he asks me out....aha I dream, alot lol.

Anyways, I'm going to go sleep now, seeing as I'm still effing sick and I sound like a retard talkin bout this guy lol.

Hey guys,
So my 18th birthday is April 16th, and all I want is a DSLR camera so I can get back into photography, and I adore them. I think I would ALMOST give up meeting Gerard Way in order to get a good DSLR camera. No Jokes. Almost. lol Anyways, so I found one, an Olympus EVOLT E-500 with 14-45mm & 40-150mm lenses (and a free digital starter kit...no clue what is in it...prbly nothing lol) for $1188 (and change) CAD. It's on sale, and it's on one of those don't pay for a year thingies. Now I know that the interest on shit like that is a BITCH, but I think I can pay it off fairly quick. Problem is, I would need my grandma to pay it and then I'd pay her, n she already has a shitload of stuff on her credit cards. Therefore, I cannot get it. Oh, and did I mention, it's only on this sale till February 5 2006. So, I have about 15 days to come up with at LEAST $400 (cuz then maybe my mom and g ma would split the difference....maybe...). Anyone have any ideas on how to make money FAST?! *looks around room for shit to sell* *finds nothing* *runs to nearest street corner to offer sexual favors for money*

This Sucks.

Someone honestly tell me that this is a shitty deal and that its not worth it....but I do think it is. I have been looking at DSLR's forever, and I know the prices. Photography makes me happy, but I just don't have a decent camera. Anyone know any good ways to guilt parents into buying shit for you? I usually am good at it, but it doesnt seem to be working.

I know I sound like a whiney spoiled little brat, but I can't help it. You have no idea how badly I want a Camera.

I'm going to go cry into my pillow now....so I'll talk to you all soon.

Went to concerts and parties.

Nope. I made some for this year. The classics. Quit smoking, Lose weight, Do better in school....etc.

No. Thank god.

There are a few. The bad ones we will try and forget, but a couple good ones would be Sept 11 because I went to my first real concert. I saw The Used in Ottawa and it was amazing. I will also remeber Nov 27 because I saw my absolute favorite band My Chemical Romance live in Ottawa as well.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I don't think I had any. At all.

I missed alot of school. *shrugs. I'm always sick in one way or another.

Yes, well, actually, I fell in love in 2004, and it continued into 2005, when my heart was then ripped out, stomped on, put back, and then ripped out again, stomped on and thrown at me. Now it is trying to heal. Still.

I got the shit kicked outta me...I fell....and couldn't get up cuz ppl kapt trampling me...So I yelled at them and screamed at them.....and eventually some guy helped me up. I went camping the other nite back at my best friends campground, and got HIGH as a motha fucka. It was great. haha. We chilled with some older guys for the nite, had a few beers, and smoked a whole lotta weed. It was our end of the summer blow out....haha wasnt THAT great, but it was definately fun.

So my weekend kinda blew. Went to Brockville for a family reunioun for my stepfathers family....I didn't know anyone...it sucked. I then stayed the nite in a hotel with my psycho mother and stepfather. Got to listen to them fight and take their "medication". Once my mother decided she had had enough, she headed over to me and flipped out on me, yelling and flailing and she has also taken up hitting me. I thought she was gonna strangle me, but my stepdad got her away from me, and she ended up sleeping in the car.

There were some nice places that would have made good photos, but I didn't exactly want to ask my parents to stop the car so I could take them. I did get a couple tho and will prbly post sumtin in the next lil bit.

I finally got a printer/scanner/copier too, and I am getting photoshop soon as well. I'll have a lot more fun with all that I'm sure lol.

I'm meeting up with a friend and her BF and his friends (teehee) on Thursday hopefully, and it's kool cuz her BF has a nice camera and is into photography, so we should have a good time goofin around, taking pictures, and SHOPPING! lol. Hopefully I can post some better photos after that, who knows *shrugs.

My question to all of you is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended.

After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered
question.

"When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.

Where is the natural order of things in my son?"

The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. "I believe, that when a child like Shay comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes, in the way other people treat that child."

Then he told the following story: Shay and his father had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball.

Shay asked, "Do you think they'll let me play?"

Shay's father knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but the father also understood that if his son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging.

Shay's father approached one of the boys on the field and asked if
Shay could play.

The boy looked around for guidance and, getting none, he took matters into his own hands and said, "We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning."

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three. In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on glove and played in the outfield.

Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as his father waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run wason base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

Should they, at this juncture, let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible 'cause Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least be able to make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed.

The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.

As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.

Instead, the pitcher took the ball and turned and threw the ball on a high arc to right field, far beyond the reach of the first baseman.

Everyone started yelling, "Shay, run to first! Run to first!"

Never in his life had Shay ever made it to first base. He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, "Run to second, run to second!"

By the time Shay rounded first base, the right fielder had the ball.

He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions and intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head.

Shay ran toward second base as the runners ahead of him deliriously
circled the bases toward home.

Shay reached second base, the opposing shortstop ran to him, turned him in the direction of third base, and shouted, "Run to third!"

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams were screaming,

"Shay, run home!"

Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the "grand slam" and won the game for his team.

"That day," said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, "the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world."
