I've always wanted to do a contest, so here is one!

It's time for a Naruto OC contest (since most of my watchers have at least one Naruto OC).

CONTEST INFO:

The contest is to draw a picture, one-paged comic, or one to two paged fanfiction of your OC battling with a real Naruto character.

When you enter the contest, I'll choose the Naruto character for yours to battle, and the person who executes the finest and most creative work, while still keeping the real Naruto character IN character, wins...

PRIZES:

First place: Three month subscription
Second place: Colored gift art from all the judges
Third place: B&W Gift art from moi.

RULES:

1. Please, no nudity or sexual themes. I wouldn't know how to judge that.
2. No character deaths, either yours or the Naruto character you're battling.
3. HAS TO BE A NEW DEVIATION!
4. SPELLING AND GRAMMAR WILL BE CHECKED! Not that it is really a rule, I'm just saying that points WILL be deducted if there are many spelling and grammar mistakes.

So, I'm pretty tapped for money and time, and I'm still working on the requests (coloring them, that is, takes a long time xD), and I've been making costumes like lightning, and I had a realization.

I should sell some of this stuff.

So, I was wondering, if I offered out commissions, would anyone buy one from me? Because if I get enough people asking for them, I think I'll start doing it. Just wondering, that's all ^-^.

Alright...uh, I guess to fill up this extra space, I'll write a real short fanfic! GaaraXoc Doesn't have to make sense, just enjoy the writing.

I was stirred from my light slumber by a warm, yet cooling breeze that drifted in to our room from the empty streets below. I slowly opened my eyes, and almost felt the moon illuminating my already pale skin. Gazing down toward my hand with my crystal blue eyes, I smiled. The silvery light was like ribbons dancing across my skin, as the clouds in the sky would pass over the moon, leaving the village of Suna in temporary shadow.

I wiggled my toes and delved my back deeper into the warmth of the man who was holding me. The thin, white sheet that was over top of us was light, dry and cooling against the warm summer night of the desert. I let out a slow and steady breath, and could almost see it being exhaled and begin stirring with the sand that was in the air. I watched in a peaceful wonderment as the breeze and the sand danced around the floor of the open balcony room, and the sheets began to gently whip, almost as if to tell the sand to stop its foolish dancing.

The bed we were laying on was large and comfortable, and I almost felt as if I was sleeping in the clouds, seeing as we in a balcony room on top of a large ant-farm type of building. The roof above our head was held up by large pillars that encircled us, so that the only privacy was the fact of the height of the room. We were far above village streets, yet close enough to hear even the slightest disturbance. It was surprisingly comfortable.

My neck began to tingle from Gaara’s breathing. He would intake a large breath, and then slowly let it out, warming the skin of my collar, and then cooling it by inhaling again. Yet, despite my neck being quite cold because of it, I didn’t move, for his soft breathing was relaxing, and it helped me stay in the Zen that this twilight hour always created for me. It felt like I was laying there for decades before I felt Gaara’s breath become disturbed. He let out a shuddered mouthful of air, and groaned. I knew he was awake.

“Hn,” he said quietly, his smooth, deep voice adding melody to the sounds of the night. He was only half awake, and wrapped his arm around my abdomen, pulling me into his warm stomach. He let out another deep sigh, and as he took in and let out each breath, I could feel the hard muscle of his stomach press into my back. I could feel myself become aroused yet again, but I simply smiled and accepted his warmth.

The night was quiet, interrupted by Gaara’s breathing and other sounds of life. The low whistle of an unrelenting breeze mingled with the sounds of the swishing bed sheets. Gaara was fully awake now, and I felt his fingers gently grabbing at mine. I surrendered my hand and shut my eyes, feeling his rough, warm fingers interlock with mine. His hands were so much bigger than mine, and it made me feel so protected and safe.

“I lo...” he whispered, falling back to sleep. I simply let out another breath of air, and our breathing began to synchronize.

“...Mei,” he finished; now fully asleep again. I, too, began to fall asleep, wishing this moment to never end.

“Y’too,” I whispered back, ending the moment of bliss.

She doesn't get many comments or pageviews, which I think is poopy because she has some great cosplays and drawings in her gallery. (But the cosplays have to be my favorite~!) Please check her out, it's really worth it!



Second Feature goes to XxKAoRIxX, who is probably more popular than me by now anyways xD but I still have to feature her because she rocks. She's a vector artist, my comic partner and an amazing inker D: She has a great gallery, do give her a shot! Her style is a bit of a mixture of Rumiko Takahashi and Masashi Kishimoto, it's really interesting to see stuff like that.



Third feature will be GrievousGrim! She only has one picture up in her gallery, but it's really gooood. She'll be submitting more soon, but check her out, she has a really awesome style ^^



Last but not least, AkumaMei She is another vector artist, and has a very interesting style of vectoring. Her shadowing and very original Konoha leaf symbol is quite amazing.

Does anyone want to request any arts from me? It would be done either in this style: [link] or a vector, depending on your preference, (I like the first option better, quite frankly).

Ten spots open! Any characters including OCs, animals (even though I'm not the best at animals, I'm warning you), and of course Fanart from any anime/manga. As for things I WON'T draw, they include: nudity/sexuality, character hate drawings, Marvel and DC, and OCs that I consider 'unoriginal' (not to sound mean, but some OCs I've seen on the net are just characters from anime with different hair color, it's quite pathetic).

My computer pretty much died, and got taken from me by the tech dudes because there was something messed up with the harddrive. All I have now is my laptop, which doesn't even have a charger, and doesn't have photoshop, and has every possible site blocked (including dA; I can just get past blocks pretty easily) BUT IT IS STILL A PAIN!

Excuse me while I cry in that corner over there. . So, I'm very sorry it is taking me so long, I'll try my hardest to get them scanned and color them as soon as possible. -bows-

History: Ten is the older sister of Tenten, and was taken from her sister, who was her only family, at the tender age of eleven when the both of them were attending the ninja academy in Konoha. Ten was taken to the moon village by a man name Jyu Khong, so he could train her. The reason she had to be trained is because inside of her was the deadly twenty tailed pink hare demon rabbit. Each of its twenty tails could destroy the entire universe. So it's understandable that she had to be trained to control her immense powers. Four years of training passed, and now able to control her twenty tailed pink hare demon rabbit, she went back to Konoha to get revenge on Tenten, who let her just go without even fighting. She could never forgive her younger sister for that horrible thing she did, even though the fact remains that if Ten didn't go to train, the universe would've exploded. Ten vowed to kill Tenten. But, halfway to her sister's house with a butcher knife (her main weapon) in her left hand, and an ugly stick (with a round curl at the end) in her right hand, she came across the love of her life. It was love at first sight. The green jumpsuit, the sparkling smile, the glorious hair. She dropped her weapons and asked the young man his name. Since that day, she has been in love with Gai sensei. And whenever she sees him, the twenty tailed pink hare demon rabbit gets horny and it affects her hair color. Instead of blushing, her hair would turn grey. She had a big battle with Tenten and won, and killed Tenten. Sasori brought Tenten back to life using his fifteen elemental jutsu attack battle defence offensive jutsu, which no one can ever do except him. But then three hours later, Deidara learned that jutsu.



Isn't she a great character?? SHE'S THE BEST!!

WEELLL anyhoo, so far it's turning out great for one of my first cosplay projects! My friend (the one I'm making the vest for) will be cosplaying as Shippuden Shikamaru, I'm gonna be Shippuden Chouji (and no, I am not FAT) and will be Shippuden Ino! It'll be a big team ten party ^^

And also, we'll be doing some photoshoots of us in our cosplay when the sun comes out, it'll be something similar to what and the Tuxedo Team do. 'Cept we'll be doing it Naruto-style. Should be fun, I think.

Unmei is a good anlyzer of people, and can read emotions and inner weaknesses by just listening to the person talk, or seeing their actions. She is much like Neji in that way, but has problems reciting what she sees, and even though she wished she could, she is unable to help that person when she sees their discomfort.
Unmei empathizes most with Mayonaka, who she considers her sister, even though Mayonaka claims that she despises Unmei.
Unmei is shy about anything concerning Sex, and when the word is mentioned she nearly faints, even though she is usually a brave and forward kunoichi. She overcomes this fear when she's older.

Techniques:
Unmei has a hard time controlling her chakra, seeing as she doesn't have a great deal of it and when she needs it she uses short bursts that drain her quickly. In order to make use of this weakness, she made herself very well trained in the art of fighting, fist fighting, that is. This way she uses only physical energy, not chakra. She only fights close contact if she's forced to; normally she uses a genjutsu.

...as Unmei calls it, is a technique that she created herself for her own abilities. She casts an illusion on the opponent that causes them to temporarily fall into an artificial state of love. They become overwhelmed, and 'loveblind', doing whatever Unmei asks of them, because they think they love her. Normally Unmei makes the opponant take out his other teammembers while Unmei and her own team continue the mission. That way no blood is shed by Unmei's hands, the way she likes it. The problem with the Genjutsu is that while using it she becomes extremly weak, and can barely move if it's in use for too long.
Her weakness is Weaponry.
