Nice to meet you all. I write poems. And short stories and such.

I'm eighteen, I'm going to be attending college next year and I've taken off this year to just be lazy. I've got a couple small poems published and a story. I'm really comfortable with people I know, but really odd around people I don't (unless they're adorable like Yuki and then I just have to hug them) but once I adjust to someone they're my best friend and they'll never get away.

I pride myself on my gay-ness. Do not challenge my gay-ness. I will win.

I'm ugly and even though Yashi says otherwise, do not listen to Yashi, she's insane and weird and I love her. So... hello again. You'll be hearing a LOT from me and then will regret it because I write WEIRD things...

This is where you were supposed to ask, "What, Yashi?" I'll let it slide this time. Anyway, I got a new girlfriend! She's super awesome and hopefully won't dump me after a week because she had 'second thoughts' about lesbianism... like a certain Aura that will remain unnamed...

Ahem! Anyway, her name is Luka (same name as my favourite artist, it's a sign!) and she's just turned eighteen. She's sooooo pretty and amazing, I can't believe how lucky I am!

She'll also be joining our little art group as the third member! So it's Yashi, Yuki and Luka now! Won't this be all fun and confusing? She does mostly poems and writings, which are all soooooo amazing....

Right. So, I met her at an anime convention (ACEN, only the bestest con in my state...) about three years ago. She had a girlfriend then and I didn't know I was queer yet... but I found out not long after, and she broke up with Marie a few months ago so we began casually dating recently... and now we're going steady! (I think I've been a little deprived of romance, what do you think?)

Funny story actually, how we met. We were at the Dealer's Room and I saw this reaaaaally cute Mokona plushie and was going to buy it. She got there a few steps ahead of me and bought it herslef. I was sad, but didn't dwell on it. I did ask her if I could feel it though, telling her that it was cute.

You can always depend on the kindness of strangers. I guess I just looked really desperate for it because she told me it didn't cost too much and forced me to take it. I really did try not to accept it, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. (Well, maybe I didn't try that hard...)

I was young and ... I sort of got attached immediately. I announced that I'd follow her around the Dealer's Room and carry her purchases for her because she'd been so nice. She ended up buying me several more things, and heck of a lot of stuff that I ended up carrying around the entire convention hall... but it was a lot of fun!

There are some pictures I have but you can't see me at all because I'm burried behind the doujinshi books and plushies in my arms, but I'm still there.

Anyway, enough rambling... but I think anyone that tries to have a straight conversation with me is in for a world of hurt... I'm not capable of anything sane right about now.

It was funny from my point of view anyway...

It begins. I wake up. Not unusual for me, but I did feel this strange feeling. What could it be? After several moments of trying to figure it out, I had a revelation. Somehow I'd managed to wake up hyper, which is odd since I'd gone to bed only three hours before.

I get up all the way, run downstairs and do my usual morning stuff. Shower, cat, garbage, breakfast, wake mom up, get the paper, you know, normal things. Thinking I'd settled down during my regimen, I made the mistake of SITTING.

That lasted maybe five minutes before I started tapping my foot. Then shaking my leg. Then tapping the table with my nails. Then looking around like I was on the watch for a killer. Then I got up and went to put my dishes away - I broke the bowl and mom told me to get outside before I did any more damage.

Angle switch to the park. I'm using the equipment in every incorrect way possible, climbing up the slide, under the rope ladder, on top of the shelter, swinging from the bar itself rather than the swing... fun and not nearly tiring enough.

This is where the day gets amazing! It's Sunday I notice suddenly, which is recycling day. I'm very cheap so I wander around in the alleys every Sunday before the pick-up and take anything I think is nifty.

I always find pretty amazing things, like last week I found a huge bag of stuffed animals. They were cute and fun to make into creatures. (Pictures soon, again.) But today, I found the best thing of all in the alley when the sun was almost down...

I found a stray puppy! I bring him home and mom says we can keep him! His name is now Wasabi and he's a Shiba Inu pup. The rest of the day was me spending time at the vet getting him all checked out! I'll put some pictures up when I get them!

...Jesus that was long.

Yuki : Yes, I am glad to be back again.

Yashi : I'll ignore the lack of enthusiasm. So, anyway, I hadn't been keeping track of the pageview count recently, I got caught up in mutilating all my stuffed animals (pictures coming soon). Then I realised, "We're almost at 500 pageviews!" and promptly died.

When I was reborn I decided that it was worth a celebration, because, hey, we're not the most popular deviants on the site and it feels nifty to have a number that high. So! Yuki and I have agreed on something.

Yuki : We're running a by-request system for a little while, now that I'm back. My art is a little rusty and I'd like a chance to exercise it. Unfortunately I do not know what to draw, and that is where you come in.

Yashi : Anyone who responds to this journal can have a drawing by Yuki for nothing. He'd actually APPRECIATE it if you would leave and comment telling him what you want so he can get some practice in.

Yuki : There is no limit to how many drawings I can complete, just leave me your guidelines and I'll do my best work. It may be audacious of me, but thank you in advance.

Anyway, it's Yashi and I returned early from helping Yuki because my mother had to go in for surgery so she needs me here to help take care of her.

Yuki won't be back for about two more weeks, but I can wait! *Taps foot impatiently.* I hope.

Anyway, for anyone who is interested, I'm completely out of ideas for stuff to draw, so if you give me ideas I will draw something completely original for you! I'd really appreciate the help since I haven't been able to draw on the trip very much and I'm really rusty.

Yuki : Er, well... oh! I recently read a really good book while I had some time the other day. It was about these two transfer students who were in this master/servant relationship. It was depressing in some parts but very enjoyable and drawn in a cute style.

Yashi : I think I heard of that one but I don't remember the name. Both boys, right? Wasn't the uke's name Osho or something weird like that? He was a guardian spirit I remember, and the seme was some sort of Dragon Lord.

Yuki : Yes, that sounds about right. I wish I could remember the name now, I would like the re-read it someday.

Yashi : Yeah, that's it! We'll start a little book club here! Hey, if you know the name let us know in a comment! And if you have any other story recommendations don't hesitate to inform us!

I'm Yuki. I'm sixteen years old too, male, and I do digital art in MS Paint. Yashi holds the real talent, but I like to think I'm helpful. I prefer to think that I'm nice, easy to get along with, polite and generous. Others seem to think that I'm too quiet, too meek and too boring.

Yashi : That's because they don't know you. I think he's sweet. Except you're kind of a pushover. We'll get you a personality yet.

Yuki : But I don't want to be as outgoing as you, you lack tact sometimes when dealing with people...
