Sad to say, the job market is still crap, so it's still minimum wage/volunteer work for the foreseeable future.<br /><br />The good news is I FINALLY got some time to catch up on some stuff I began a few weeks ago.<br /><br />It will mostly be original character stuff. That film is known to the public as the last animated movie produced by Walt Disney. The film is known by Disney fans for the creative license taken on the final film.<br /><br />After passing on an earlier screenplay that was much more true to the source, Walt opted for a much brighter, livelier, more colorful version of the Rudyard Kipling story. There was something about their obnoxious style of humor they adopted in their CGI films that I quickly grew tired of. Not to mention, the many sequels and spinoffs in their films have made it difficult to explore their films.<br /><br />I did check out Monsters vs. Aliens when that came out, because it looked really cool. And wouldn't ya know it? It WAS cool! :)<br /><br />I also checked out How to Train Your Dragon, because Lilo & Stitch creator Chris Sanders :iconalohalilo: co-directed it. But I NEVER thought I'd be one trying to avoid it, if only until the actual holiday comes up. It seems more and more, retail has been celebrating Christmas earlier into the year, making Halloween a secondary and in most cases ignoring Thanksgiving altogether. He has gone thru hell trying to clean up the mess from the Bush years and passing policies that can enrich peoples' lives, all the while dealing with right-winged loonies whose only drive was to embarrass him at every turn. Many places have brought in the Christmas cheer even before Halloween came.<br /><br />Still doesn't make it any less ridiculous. WalMart and Target got all their Christmas stuff up. One of my local radio stations have been playing Christmas tunes NON-STOP for the past week and a half. A few neighbors already have their Christmas lights up.<br /><br />I love Christmas. It's my favorite freaking holiday ever. But for God's sake, can't we at least wait until December 1st before we start selling Christmas trees??? :worry: ]]></media:text>

        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ For those still wondering how Disney's Tangled turned out, you have nothing to worry about.<br /><br />Contrary to the DreamWorks-flavored ads, a lot of what were seen in the trailers are NOT in the film. It's a shame when a studio has a lie to find an audience, especially when there is nothing to hide.<br /><br />My only slight problem was with Flynn Rider. It's a given that Disney takes creative liberties with the source material. And hey, maybe they were trying to make the prince-to-be more modernly relatable than his predecessors. But the movie lost a bit of subtlety by having him narrate the exposition. And the character himself felt like a sitcom character ]]></media:text>

Her career was in a lull in her final days, suspect in part to her marriage to Simon Monjack. Her last few movies have received very little attention. She had trouble securing several movie deals before she died. Since graduating, I've been submitting resumes and contacting dozens of businesses over the past month or so. No progress as of this writing.<br /><br />The stimulus package from last year has shown very little results. Unemployment is at the 9% mark. I would, however like to believe that things are looking better than the Bush years, if McCain/Palin were in charge.<br /><br />I guess the upside to not having a job just yet is that it's giving me time to figure out where my starting point will be.
