Centaurs are really not that cool, although on first sight they seem badass really they arent that great.
First point: They have 3 sets of limbs! that's 6 limbs and it's SO overkill. horses front legs are already like their arms, so it's like having 4 whole arms.
Second Point: They have 2 sets of torsos, one normal horse torso, and then just another human torso instead of a neck, and frankly that just is akward. A torso ontop of a torso? no way. This is much more than just a human on a horse vessel.
Third Point: Combat Issues, the upper torso while handy for close combat and detail work is rendered kind of useless attached the bulkyness of a horse body. how fast could that move around? not fast at all in terms of footwork, and short manuevering. Long distances could help having a horse to project him along, but the centaur is pretty useless unless he's fighting some long range dragon or something.

So that's what I got so far.. Letme know what you think about centaurs.

I also just got back from a weekend trip to SLC utah and it was sick, i went to snowbasin, park city, and powder mountain, I got some awesome video and pictures and i might put some up. I had so much fun I love snowboarding.

Applying to colleges, so Far, Risd, Pratt, Syracuse, Parsons, and Uarts. all those places i'm applying to so a bunch of nice north eastcoast schools. hopefully a lot of snowboarding at the new york ones.

I've also been painting and sculpting a LOT inmy Ap studio classes (I have two, 2d, and 3d) Im going to shoot a whole bunch of my stuff soon with a digital camera so I can then put it up here on DA for you guys to see. I havent had much time for the comic art anymore although im still working on the colors of that gun guy.

I've been failing my AP government class, working WAY too much at Eastcoast boardco.. although I do love the place I think I burnt myself out.. stil have yet to get a real graphic put through there.

SNOWBOARDING, that's huge, i've been snowboarding. A lot at Liberty, hopefully Canaan Valley and/or Timberline this weekend, and then in TWO weekends... UTAH im fucking going out west for the first time in my life and I am so stoked. Park city, snowbasin. it's gonna be sickkkkkkkkk

and last but in NO way the least, I've got a new Lady friend. now all of you think oh how quick! but the relationsip with simone was real shitty for a while, a lot of infidelity on her part. but all thats done with and somehow I found such a wonderful girl. Jennifer. she's so kind and is the nicest person i know i really love everything about her (it's fast, but whatever) i've already done a lot of stuff with her in mind and hopefully i'll be posting it soon.

I recently was buying a new deck (wooden part on a skateboard.. not a DECK deck) and i was doing it off blankdecks.com. I went through and was checking out all the models and stuff i just wanted something cheap. they are all blanks but some have more pop and HOW is this measured? its not! labels for the depth of concave is just "Super convace, medium concave, Super DUPER concave" yes.. good job lableing them but that the hell does it all mean? we should be given depths of everything and some sort of measurement other than gimmicky lables. i say this because im well aware its all the same deck being marketed over and over again with different names. the whole industry is like that. no boards differ they are all the same and I hate it. the description for the "super pop deck" was "this deck has the most pop ever! its good!" what the hell does it mean?!?! they are so full of it. But i am proud to have boughten my board for 16 bucks instead of paying 40 bucks more for a snazzier name and a graphic. its stupid.

which brings me to my next point. the two cheapest decks wer the "California blank" or the "Canadian blank" the Cali one was cheaper so i clicked on it and its first part of the description was "Made with real Canadian Maple" it all makes no sense. I wish i could do something to stimulate the skate industry to stop sucking so much, get its shit together and make nice boards, supplys, and actually sell what they advertiste.. damn.

I almost kind of miss it... life goes by so quickly, its a paradox. in short incriments its soooo loong. but long periods, are so quick.. everything is already over i had a very fun time tho with a group i didnt even know at all.

After prom was REAL cool. it was at my school, with a MOONBOUNCE!! and nobody was there really (of course people wer there..just not many) and it was so layed back and nice. I'm suprised not many people decided to take full advantage of the whole scene there. Maybe im just a loser so i enjoyed it? who knows.. im going to bed.

I just had a dream that i was in the civil war, it had tanks and everything was cartoony, it was cool, i was in a cartoon. but all the tanks and grenades and bullets were chasing me. i could jump really high and run really fast. i think i got away.

I also dreamt i was playing paintball with real bullets. and then i realized "wait, this is really dangerous" so i stopped, walked to my friends old neighbor hood, all my friends were there. and the REASON for all this governors school nonsense, is to get into some supposedly rockin summer school thing where i can better my own art, do lots of art, and it looks good for colleges.. but mostly so i can get better and have fun.

Now onto my dream!! man it was so cool. I was going to simones house late at night, not sure why, i think i just wanted to see her. It was a nice crisp, cold night, the air just felt like it had something magical in it. I had to walk through my woods to see her(when in realitiy i would just drive to see her.) But the woods i was going to talk through, were really a FOREST in my dream. Like all those magical forests you read about in books(right? like the forest of, Blah blah blah). Anyhow, im walking through this forest. and everything is pitch black to the point of where there is no depth to anything, i start walking along this strip with about a 12 foot hill on either side. I have no idea how i know this but i do. I walk through the strip, and the trees!!! they are glowing!! its SOO cool, plus there really cartoony trees, with just random leaves that form a little ball at the top. the leaves were red, green, orange, and yellow. and the leaves are so bright, and shaped so interestingly! there kind of flat, but at the same time, 3D it was crazy! I was also really scared as i was walking into the forest. because im a wuss like that haha. but at the beggining there wer X-men dolls and drawing tools, very cool, and so i finally get up to where simone is, she was on the hill somewhere deep into the forest, we walk through a little more and come into some huge grassy meadowy type field( its alo daylight now) we walked around and there were all sorts of magical little bugs flying around, they were either blue and black, or yellow and black, but all different types. But for some reason i realized that all the blue bugs were really supposed to be yellow, and vice versa. I dont know how i knew this considering the bugs were all completly fictional to begin with. after all this i went back to my home, through the forest(this time following my cat home!) and i was VERY VERY scared, but i kept walking. I ended up back into my house late at night, i met up with my little brother and it was snowing outside.
