Meh.

Just adding a few deviations to my spot here. It took long enough. Some of my drawings will start showing up here soon, but for now I just have my photos. At least, the few I decided to put up for now.

I'm currently writing, and looking to commission an artist for the cover illustration.

I am currently re-writing a table-top RPG, and am looking for a good illustration for the cover. Once the writing is complete, I'd like to start getting work for the interior as well, but that will be well down the road from here.

I am looking for pseudo-realism, with a real gritty feel. The setting of the game is post-apocalyptic earth, a good thirty years after fallout periods subside. I am looking for a dramatic piece, which either showcases a scavenger/outcast looking person in the foreground, or a caravan moving across a distant backdrop that looks dreary. I'm going to give more info on this in the future as I think about what exactly it is I want.

There are 50,000,000 works of art on this site.

I must have favorited half of them it seems. I am still looking for what types of art suit my style. I love sculpture as well as photography, and enjoy line-art as much as color work. However, when I draw, I tend to have a distinct vector art and print-looking style. (I'll get some up here soon. Work keeps me busy and my portfolio was destroyed.)

I have come to the conclusion that I love art the way I love to live my life. I love super-high contrast, clean lines and brilliant colors; even if the colors are gray-scale. I love lines to be smooth and rounded, or distinctly geometric.

Oh, and I just love the way some of the models look. But that has less to do with my artistic taste than it does my personal tastes.

So... I realized that I don't know exactly what friends are on this site.

I'm not your average person who "friends" everyone on myspace, yet at the same time, I am a really social person outside the text box. I decided to befriend everyone that I watch. That way I feel like less the lurker, and more the art lover that I think of myself.

I hope this works.

I just went through surgery on my jaw, so I'm sitting here absorbing the healing power of Percoset, and looking at some of the finest lines and reflections of light that I have seen in quite some time.

I've always been a fan of the site, having had a roommate introduce me years ago. But while he is a photographer, and a damn fine one, I am more likely to paint or sculpt. I even do line drawings, and experiment a bit.

Perhaps in the near future, my work will not take too much of my free time, and I will create again. Until then, I enjoy the fruits of your labors...

-Yosef
