Hello Again

Hi.

Well, I know my absenteeism is getting a bit out of hand. It's been nearly a year since the last journal entry I made, and I've finished off at least two sketchbooks in that time.

I can't really make a lot of excuses at the moment-- having been up for several hours already, my brain is hitting that point where it's starting to think that breakfast would be a good idea, and the rest of me is not inclined to argue.

Frankly, I've still been drawing--quite a bit, actually, though not nearly as much as I used to. I think that I'll probably try to take some time to sit down and scan some things over the weekend, though we'll have to see whether or not I make any progress as far as posting. I've taken up some new hobbies since the last time I posted anything, and some of them might have pictures making their way here also.

At the moment I'm job hunting, too, which eats a bit of time. Also writing, (though none of that really ever sees the light of day). At some point, I also acquired (horror of horrors!) a livejournal account, though I think I've spent more time ignoring that it exists than actually posting there either. Still, not that I haven't anything to post, mostly just lack of motivation to do so. Things should pop up here a little more quickly, though, so I hope to be able to share a bit more randomness with you all soon...

PSST! Is anyone else going to Sakura-con this year? Really looking forward to it!

There should be a strikeout there. I have no brain any longer, I think, after crocheting a scarf, forgetting to tie it off, and coming home to find out that the kitten had unraveled the entire thing and was rolling about in the mess of yarn it had been made of.

This aptly describes the past month or so for me. Yay me.

so lol got all my sketched done... went to do my color and my black Prismacolor died halfway through the first pic.
Go through more black markers... geez, I've gone through six since I got this set of Prismacolors. haven't finished any of the other colors LOL

So I was going to finish & scan my reference pics for my plushie so I could send my order off tonight, but now I am unhappy

Also went to use my iPod while waiting for my parents at Borders today and discovered that after the last time I'd used it, I'd turned it off but not slid the "hold" switch over, so the battery was dead. That's right, folks--for the first time since I bought it, there was no battery charge. At all. Wouldn't even turn on. YARGH OMG MY OWN PERSONAL NIGHTMARE!!!! LOL got all kinds of weird looks as I went "What the--?" shook it, and then cried "Noooooooo..........!" Yup.

On the bright side, we have a new person starting tomorrow at work so maybe we will finally get caught up, LOL yeah. Bet none of you have ever seen two attorneys try to move a desk before... hah. Amusimente, no?

So. Next item on the agenda is to find myself a bit of free time during lunch and recolord everything with my color pencils, so everything would be consistent.

No kidding. So... I am drawing up the outfit at the moment and the next step is to draw Mikitty in the outfit--lucky me, I can't seem to draw the same thing in the same way more than once, so this is going to lead to tracing (yeah, yeah, boo--hiss) but yeah I have to find someone who is willing to do the fluffeh-tufted kitty ears, even if the rest of the ear is smooth. That and the hair is (as I think of it) sort of brown-tabby and then there's the weird length. LOL I know I am being picky...

Oh, and the coat. Must have the coat LOL--once I find someone to order meh plushie from and have got things going in that direction, I will end up posting my skectches in scraps.

lol I want to wear the coat myself... but it'd be much too small!

Drawing in the dark may SEEM like a cool idea, but it's not terribly productive. Trust me.

Especially considering that out cat was attracted by the clicking of the little dangly charms on my mechanical pencil--and could -see- them in the dark.

Yargh. So. Um. Yeah, basically dropped back off the face of the planet for about a week. Am actually kinda sick/dizzy and unable to focus jusrt now so please forgive randomw eirdness. And.
Er. I know you're gonna hate me for this...
Did basically nothing in the way of art. I know, I know, I keep telling you I have stuff but I need to scan it, and then I don't (you know who you are, and I'm sorry) and I now have TWO versions of Madi-san's Temari picture and I still haven't finished either. and I owe people art.

Cannot apologize enough, but life's still trying to run me through the wringer. On the bright side: Something nice I can still do for you--most of the guitar picks are still available, though I suppose technically should get first dibs, as she named an enitire set for me So she gets first dibs.

Finally home!!!!
Might not seem like it but trip out to OR and back from up near Seattle kills. We were on the road waaaay early. (Putting on elf ears at 4:00 AM is NOT easy btw, sooooo not.) Excuse my rambling cuz I need to work tomorrow and um yah w/e. I need to get to sleep ASAP

ZOMG totally forgot to take pics... ohno took exactly 3... random w/e nothing important pics, too. AJ took some pics tho. Yaaaaay.

Remembered guitar picks and only gave out like three.

Although... lol fangirl moment here.... guess who I gave them to?

Can't believe I didn;t remember to ask Holly Black to sign my sketchbook. Nooooooooo...! Okay. Now I feel really dumb. *GUILT* But I did give her a guitar pick---the Like a Rex in a Dark Alley one.
Did somehow remember to ask Ari Berk & Brian Froud to sign. Gave Mask pick to Ari Berk & Incan gold pick to Brian Froud.
Uh. Just realized I somehow missed Wendy Froud, too. *more guilt*

Managed to save the fangirling until we were in the car this time, too. Not sure how, parking lot was much farther away and it was quite difficult.

Regarding the guitar picks, did a bunch up and then forgot I'd left them on the porch--left them overnight and rediscovered them on the way out to work. Had taken a nap and ended up sleeping through the night. Oops. Mostly unharmed--couple got shifted somehow during the night and will need repairs... should be fine by Sunday morning.
Hopefully I will not forget about them in all the rush.

UWAHHH...

Okay. LOL so I suppose explanations are in order?

Sooo... tonight went to see The Killers--they'd been scheduled for last week at WAMU Theater, but had rescheduled because their lead had--er? bronchitis or something?- and so the concert date was pushed out to May 27. They were originally scheduled to appear with Hot Hot Heat, but due to the change in concert date, Hot Hot Heat had a scheduling conflict...

sooooo... Louis XIV opened tonight. ZOMG!!! Really, really good live! LOL maybe not entirely appropriate for a younger audience but still really terrif; They blew out a speaker at the end of their set--hahahahah it was really loud, obviously, but I really enjoyed it.

lol and Louis XIV lead singer's hair (this being Jason Hill's hair) was especially fluffy. lol--as in, part of it was sticking out to the side during the whole set. I kinda wonder if it was really supposed to be sticking out like that... and whether anyone thought to tell him it was like that? It was kinda funny, because a little of his hair was sticking up on the other side as well and he looked like some sort of naughty puppy. n he was skinny and kinda sorta tallish? I dunno anymore. Dazed at the moment... but he was CUTE!!! Really cute.

Oh god, cue fangirl squealing. LOL.

Obviously not really balanced at the moment due to being really pumped from the concert and then drinking an iced latte, and iced tea, and 2/3 of a root beer. Not to mention all the Pocky and mochi I stuffed into myself before the concert.

All and all really a terrific concert, although I know a lot of people were frustracted by the 50-minute breakdown/setup between Louis XIV and The Killers--who, by the way, are also REALLY terrific live! I dunno what else I can say?

Oh-yeah--the topic here??

So on the way out of the pit at the concert, Jason Hill was walking into the auditorium... and yah, accosting famous people is generally not of the good... but... LOL I don't usually do this but I stopped him and said that their set was really good & he shook my hand!!!!! and smiled OMG!

LOL and his hair was still sticking up, too. At the moment I'm still really amused by that. Man is he skinneh though.... and cute. really cute. LOL.

The next best part is that when I told my mom, as we were driving off down the street, she screeched like a fangirl. People on the sidewalk stopped to look at her. And she didn't even notice.

Hi again!

Alright, so where to begin? Haven't really been posting so much lately. I did a little sign for Steven a little while back. Yay. Green, silver, and black, since I think he'd probably make a pretty cool Slytherin.

The bookbag I did is supposed to go to at some point. She drew me a really nice piccy for my birthday. As soon as I can get a hold of some hardware to add a strap to it and spray it a couple of times with some fabric protectant--definitely one downside to working with light colored fabric--I will be sending that off to her.

Did a quick piccy this afternoon which you won't see, as I gave it to someone pretty much right away. Random little thing done with black magic marker, blue ink, and some flower petals done with color pencils.

Also did a picture yesterday for a thank-you to the guy we got a complete set of GTO and Trigun from. LOL anime marathon, anyone?

I received my notary public seal in the mail this week, also, so I am officially a notary! Yay!

We were planning to go to the Butter Sprites concert in Seattle this evening, but we won't be able to since my dog is ill and my mother's dog ate an entire geranium and threw up. So we'll be keeping an eye on them today.

Planning to go get my hair done tomorrow. Cut it short. I don't know, maybe highlight it? I find myself rather enamored of Gaara's hair, though I've already dyed mine red twice... so... maybe Gaara's haircut with highlights or something?? I wonder if the woman at the salon will give me an odd look if I bring her my gachapon as an example?

I keep drawing on more guitar picks, also, so expect to see a deviation with a scan of the ones I've done lately--Jeff-kun has the ones I had finished for him before, and says that the glaze is okay so far. That's encouraging. I think I need to redo some of the designs I gave him which were on paper, though, since I found out most of the places that produce custom picks don't like the design to hit the edge of the template. Maybe that's something that I can look into doing next weekend, since I'll be out at my uncle's house with no internet access.

Hi everyone!

Well, it seems as though roughly another year of my life has passed, and I'm going to be another year older. At this point last year, I was about a month into the Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant Program at Renton Tech. At this point, I am at least temporarily employed in the type of position I was training for.

Wow. LOL Christmas shopping money.

I don't really know what to say about the past year--I've definitely changed quite a bit. Haven't grown any taller, par for the course, but I've definitely learned a lot... both in school and about the world in general, and about the different ways that people can react to the same thing.

I guess that I've also learned more concretely that it's not always alright to let things slide--there are some things that people do which are definitely not appropriate. Usually there is a way to go about sorting things out properly; sometimes there is not and you do what you can do as soon as it can be done. Different actions will suit different situations, and the moment when something suits is often brief and not repeated.

People change a lot over the course of a year, and even more over the course of five years. Part of the joy of living is to share as much of your life with people as you can, because watching people grow and growing yourself can really be a beautiful thing. I'm not saying that changing is easy... but I am saying that the ability that any species has that enables them to adapt is really something we should cherish.

So... I've been here at dA for nearly three years, and December 12 should mark that date. I've been on this planet for nearly 18 years--on October 10, I'll be 18--so the three years I've been here are still a pretty significant chunk of time to me. It's been really great to be able to watch the way so many artists progress through their art, and through the stages of creativity that lead to so many brilliant and different things. They're pieces of thought, and I would like each of you to take a day or an evening, even an hour, to contemplate some of the things you have thought while you create.

Also, I'd like to give a shout out to whose birthday is the day after mine. Happy Birthday!

Over the past year, I've changed a lot. I've built palaces of dreams on nothing more than a whim... I guess what I'm trying to say is that for the moment I've learned and gone as far as I can go with that knowledge for the moment. I've done a lot of things that I didn't believe that I was really capable of--I quit dance, I found my limits, I attained more of myself. I went to college, and graduated, and learned a lot of new things and met people who tested the strength of my faith in myself.
I stopped creating, because one of those people caused enough doubt to hurt part of who I was and who I am. But, as with all troubles, that passed too, and I returned to doing the things I love to do--I can't of course, simply pick up where I left off, because I'm a different person from when I began. I've been here on dA for... nearly three years at this point. I've gone from strangely erratic art and updates to regular updates and back again, random art styles that flit through as my moods shift. I changed the types of things I created. I created new things when I could... I don't really know what further I'm capable of at this point. I want to learn but I have no patience, not that I don't have the resources. I simply lack dedication.

A lot of things have changed since I first began here. I've lost family and gained family, built bridges and burned them, rebuilt friendships... I can't say that all of the things that people learn from living are good.

So this evening I went with my mom to dinner after I was done at my internship for the day, and then we went out to Fairwood library to see Mercedes Lackey. I brought a couple of Alecia's books with me to get signed, since she wasn't able to make it this evening. ^_^ So Mercedes and her husband, Larry Dixon, spent about an hour discussing, etc. and talking about various things to do with their respective/joint writing careers and Larry's art stuff.

^_^ so i brought them some paper stars and ended up buying a book because, like last time, I didn't have anything that both of them had worked on for Larry to sign and I was feeling guilty about it...
but not only did Larry sign my book (twice, the second time by accident LOL)and my sketchbook, but also, when I mentioned that two of the books belonged to a friend who hadn't been able to make it, he asked if I had her number so that he and Mercedes could call her. ^_^ LOL so we used my phone to call AJ at home, since she was working on some Cub Scout stuff with her kids.

I hate people so much that I can't cling to my own life that way any more. People only see the problems that I let them see, and then they assume that there's nothing more to my life. People are, obviously, rather stupid to think this way.

I know that some of you are going to ask me why I'm choosing to do this. All I can really give you is that it's something I really need to do right now. I've been continuing my art and my thinking in a way that was meant for me and for other people, and that was also a part of me. I've been struggling to hang on to both for a while now, and some things have happened that have tipped the scale against doing so.

I can't tell you all my reasons or all the things that are going into this decision. A lot of things have happened over the past year that have hurt me and marked me and made me examine my relationships with people and the memories I have of being alive. Some things have happened that were never any expectation of my life, and then there are other things which were expected with the hope that they would never come to pass. I let go of people I still needed, and I let go of other things that were never real over the past few months. I can't even remember why I cared about some of them so much.

I can either do this and let go of the pain that doing these things has caused me, or I can fall apart. Being able to control myself is still a part of me. I have work that I need to do and I will continue to do it. This will not interfere with my life in any other way-- but still, I wish there was something else I could do. I wish that I could move on now, but I can't.

NO, I don't want any comments or replies AT ALL on this bulletin on MYSPACE. If you do leave comments or replies in regard to this on myspace, they WILL BE IGNORED, unless I really feel a need to read them.

Here are the additional details about this, as promised.

My piece will be displayed in the art exhibit at Renton Technical College's International Fair on Thursday, June 8, 2006.

This event IS open to the public, and the exhibits will open at 4:30 p.m., and booths will open at 5-5:30. There will also be food. Booths close at 8, exhibits at 9, then there's supposed to be some dancing, etc.

Peacemaker and Naruto Videos

Here's something that I did during my break from school...
...hours of my life that I won't get back, but anyway~!
I think watch the Naruto one first, then the Peacemaker Kurogane one afterwards. It really turned out much better, being the second one I did. I only had three episodes worth of Naruto to work with for the AMV, so I was having trouble finding enough stuff to use-- the timing is weird and off and screwed up very badly in some spots. Yeah.
For the Peacemaker video, I had 20 of 24 episodes to work with... Generally speaking, the Peacemaker AMV turned out better.
Either way, they're my first experiments with Windows Movie Maker...

I'll assume that you all know how to use megaupload... if not, it's not that difficult to figure out. There are directions. Just to warn you-- both files are about 20MB each, so it'll take a while if you have a slow connection.

Despite this fact, the music released during the group's brief but productive career continues to be a staple for people who have been there, and people who are still trying to see who they are going to be. Fans are fans, after all, but without the music, we are nothing.

Since this is the Holiday Season, <~Note the capital letters there, folks, I figure that I should be gifting the general public with posts of randomly drawn little scraps and deviations for you to stick on your wall or your favorites list. I've got quite a few things that I really need to scan and post for your view or review, since I've got randomly sketched bits and pieces loitering around my workspace and inside of my backpack. I really can't seem to figure out why I bother sometimes, since I probably only scan and post about a third of the things I draw.
Yet, as finals are swiftly approaching for this quarter, you may have to wait another week before you see any of the things I'm talking about show up here.

Next person who looks over my shoulder at my work when I'm drawing-- especially without my permission- is getting their eyes out by Pocky surgery.

So, progress and other notes.

I'm STILL working on that horrendously large kimono, though I haven't made much progress. I'm hoping that I can make some headway during the two week break from school, but I'm hoping to get some other things done in that time as well. I'd really like to draw and color a few things just for myself, and there are some projects I'd like to attempt in a sort of quick, testing way.

I also need to try another color scheme for the Brimrose Fairy, as it's what I originally intended to do when I posted the first version. I'm thinking I might try it with stronger colors and maybe even with my Prismacolor markers, to get the clean color that I want to try for it.

I have a kinda cute one of Light from DN that I want to get posted, a lot depends on whether or not I'm deciding to ink the thing. It's kinda fun, if you don't mind my sucky artistic skills. A little different from what I've done recently, not so much ornate pattern as a simple sort of sketchy drawing. I didn't spend too long on it, but I hope you'll all like it when it is finished.

There's a picture of Uchiha Saki-- no, this is not Saki as in "Oiroke-no-jutsu-Sasuke" as is normally done, but Uchiha Saki as the daughter of Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke, as unlikely as some of us may see that to be. I've got some post-its written for her, as well, so that one is probably going to show up with some plot notes. I want to attempt a short story or something with her in it sometime in the future. There's another picture of some random ninja as well.

I made a passive sort of attempt at drawings of "Ice" "Kihi'tan (Kithan) as soul reaper" and "Yoake" as per my memories of roleplaying strange and drawn out trips to demonic brothels on rescue missions and whacking Gods over the head with feather dusters. There's another, of Toukenb, who is one of my two other muses that torment me with Kithan. These'll probably be scraps.

On my yellow pad for class, I drew a sort-of-Trowa as a werewolf-person sketch that looks okay; no facial features. It'll be a scrap.

In my sketchbook, there are two small pages with some lovely, convoluted twisty things that you will probably like.

I suppose that I'm less untruthful than I could be, even with others. Sometimes I wonder if I tell them more than I tell myself- I'll never know. I've probably said this before, the words that echo inside my skull... liars are as liars do, and I'll never know if I can trust my own senses of righteousness, reason, or fear. The worst I've said is never on par with the cruelest things I've thought, less vile and filled with all my loathing for the world. I think these things far too often, and in light of that, I'll still never know whether or not I'm really even here. Listen closely to what I never say. I am always speaking, fainter than you can hear. The words I sing in honesty are difficult- cast aside. Pulled, from spoiled water-- then lost.

Both the black and white lineart and version one color of the picture for , "Brimrose Fairy: Creatures Less Mortal." are now complete. I will be scanning them as soon as I get the chance. I may also be trying another color scheme on the picture, maybe with a different medium.

10/28:
I have started drawing 's picture, despite the fact that midterms and my hands are f----ing well killing me this week. It's worth it, though, since the lines have stayed pretty clean so far and it's looking well. I will have to scan the concept sketch I did on my notes for this, in an effort to stay awake. Mehh... Not sure how well the two match up, in regards to that. Bad thing is, I'm drawing the full version on the back of a Word assignment that I had made errors on and had to print out again. Hoping that the test on the other side won't show through when I print it out. Sorry about that, Acidrain-Brimrose. Incidentally, the work title I wrote on the back is "Brimrose Fairy." It's turning out a little different from what I do generally, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Hope you will like it when it is finished.

So, does anyone have any special plans for Halloween? This Saturday, I'm going to go to a haunted house with my parents and my sister. Over the rest of the weekend, I'm planning to catch up on reading some of my muchly overdue library books and studying for the Word test on Monday. Also going to watch some movies with the family, etc.
Let's see... Monday. Halloween. The teacher has told us that it is permissible to wear a costume to class as far as she is concerned. ^_^ Meh, also we watched a movie about the Constitution and Constitutional rights at the beginning of the quarter because of a recently passed bill that states that any school which recieves any sort of government funding must do some kind of presentation or project about it for their students. Since we can truthfully say that freedom of expression is one of our constitutuinal rights, there shouldn't be any problems. Ahhh... also! Party in class for Halloween, because we wanted to. Yep. Took a vote and everything. There's that to look forward to.
Monday evening, I'll be going to go trick-or-treating for the first time in three (? maybe four?) years, with my sister, grandmother, aunt, and two younger cousins! I'm going to go as a ninja, ala Naruto, as is my sister. She's borrowing my other ninja headband. Er, Sand and Leaf are not necessarily the best of allies, are they? I'll be playing the part of a Sand ninja with my shiny, spiffy headband and maybe my metal NARUTO brand toy shuriken. Yes! Even shinier and spiffy-er than a fork... Teh... I suppose I will have to wear a black shirt and pants under the short kimono I will be wearing, because it's not long enough to look good if I close it. Eh, it sort of has the same effect as Anko or Tsunade's coats, though my clothes actually cover more of my important bits. My younger sister is wearing a white kimono with blue bamboo pattern on it, and playing the part of the Leaf ninja. I don't have all the necessary items for it to be a really *proper* kimono for wearing, because it was actually just more of a light/medium summer kimono/yukata that had been my grandmother's from when she had been to Japan many years ago. Besides which, we are lacking a real Obi with which to fasten the kimono, so we are going to make do with the heavy fabric one that my grandmother had fashined, or with a lighter one (just a length of fabric) that may prove easier to tie. ^_^ Meheh, in either case, I'd like to see her try to attack me when I'm neccesary for both tying and removing the obi, since she can't really manage either by herself. Believe me on that point- we tried. So I've done some research and found some simple instructions for tying an obi and tried them out, with 20 minutes of time-consuming but appropriately accurate results. I can see why most people only wear kimono for special occasions now- for women, especially, getting dressed must have been a bitch.

Hey everyone!
If you check back over the next few weeks and I haven't posted anything- there is a logical explanation.
It will not be that I have suddenly keeled over and died.
I've managed to enroll in my Leagal Secretary/Assistant program at the college, so I won't have as much time as I used to to lay around uselessly. Also, sleep. Still, I'll do my best to keep in practice and post whenever I have a spare moment. -_-;; It's not on a scedule that I'm used to, seeing as the program is running during the daytime. Not my usual operating hours, but I suppose it'll be best if I try to adjust.
Mehh... how am I going to manage that? Don't know.

I'm afraid i won't be drawing any more for a while. This explaination was better but DA didn't upload the entry properly the first time.

I lost my pencil case.

Or at least a dude who bears a very frightening resemblance to Gaara.
Monday, I got out of anatomy/physiology class about an hour early, so I went to wait for my mom in front of the registration building after I called her.
I sat down and grabbed the pencil case and my sketchpad out of my backpack and started drawing something, and I set the pencil case next to me on the bench. Not 5 minutes later, here comes Gaara.
I kinda had to stare for a moment to make sure i wasn't seeing things, then I was praying he wouldn't sit across from me cuz I'd probably stare at him the whole time. So he sits on the other end of the bench. About 10 minutes after that, mom shows up. I manage to grab my backpack, my sketchpad, the pencil and eraser I was using...
But I forgot my pencil case and it took me about 15 minutes to realize I didn't have it, because I went to put the pencil away when we stopped for ice cream. When we got there it was gone.
One of the other people in my class was sitting there still and she said she saw the guy playing with it and then walk off with it but she didn't think it was strange--because she saw him sitting next to me on the bench and she thought it was someone I knew!!
So, if you're reading this, Mr. Gaara, I'd really like it back.

There are probably a few other things in there that I can't remember at the moment.

Well, I have returned from Endfest!
I am alive.
I can hardly hear a damn thing, still, but I'm in a good mood.

Absolutely.... Kaiser Chiefs- they're totally better live than studio; even if the lead singer did splash beer on us. ^__^ Heheh it was worth it! Less than ten feet away, then the stage-diving thing? Yeah. ^_^
Queens of the Stone Age-Meh, there's nothing better than being able to feel the music in your bones- Interpol was awesome, Social Distortion made my brain melt.
U.S.E. mostly made me dazed and confused, but in a good way.
All in all, I have to say that I enjoyed Endfest- But the way the lighting for Queens of the Stone age hit the 107.7 The End backdrop made it seem as if they were heralding the end of the world.
It would've been a good way to go, really.
Maybe I'll do a follow-up to this entry later, I should probably sleep some.

Sorry guys.
Won't be posting for another while- and it's not from lack of art. I've been drawing randomly and fairly often, but threw a bunch of stuff away because of the way it turned out. Meh. Dad's computer kicked the bucket and we had to reload the OS, so we're down to bare minimum on games, utitlities, etc. Scanner works, but mom says I can't upload anything at home while we're download antivirus updates, etc. anymore for a bit, so for ahile it looks like I'm stuck scanning them to floppy and uploading while I'm at the library.
At least their connection is faster.
Eh.

It leads to strange contemplations and weirdly disarrayed art pieces which either a)will never see the light of day or b)were subsequently burned.
That, or these old scars within my own mind. The things that I remember, the things I have forgotten... The memories that sustain me or build me another tower with which to distance myself from the mortals and my own mortality.

So, how have all the little evil bunnies been? Well, I trust.

Not so on this front. English class is absolutely murdering me!!! All that punctuation, papers, etc. Although I'm actually doing fairly well in Psychology. w00t!! I swear, it's the positive reinforcement- (operant conditioning, you see). Action: Go to Psych class. Benefit: Weird, long talks! Movies about brains! And trading manga with fellow otaku! It's almost as good as a sci-fi convention. If I'd ever been to a sci-fi convention. Which I have not. But who cares? I really don't give a damn about the minor details in this argument! ^_^ Yeh. So anyways: lovely, lovely fun time in psch class. From the book... minor quizzes, 1 midterm, 1 final, 1 paper at each.... 3-5 pages, etc.
Now, in comparison: English class. Action: Go to class. Benefit: Punctuation excercises. Documentation quiz. Paper every week (number of pages due increases.) Debate. Argument paper, 5-7 pages. Final paper- 10 pages.
Hmmm... Now, why does operant conditioning apply to this?
Well, I really do enjoy writing. But not in a situation in which there are a lot of absolutes- my final paper HAS to be at least ten pages.
Nope, not in a good moode.

So on Sunday- ^_^ went to mall to be in extra in a film! When it comes out I'll tell ya what it is so you can look into seeing it. For those of you who know about that film class I took a few years back, this has some stuff to do with the people who taught that. Meheh, one of my mom's friends is also in it... but for now, I'll make this reccomendation:
For those of you who are mature enough to watch a really amusing movie which is just a little bit questionable (don't watch it in front of small kiddies, folks) please look for a movie called M.C. Beer Bong...

So after we were done walking around in the mall.... went with the ever-amusing/cool to run around and play games, etc. for his birthday! ^_^ His birthday was actually yesterday, but anyways.... Drew him a piccy! Nice SD chibi Naruto piccy... I have to say that I have nothing but respect for people who only draw chibi style Naruto pics. Sasuke's hair is hellish to draw. Yah... em... I have a b&w copy of the lineart, but I gotta wait for Jeff to scan the original so I can post that, too; because I colored it and then had to run out the door. Didn't get a chance to scan it.

Gonna do a tribute piccy soon, for poor Sparky. Meh..... I will have to discuss Sparky another time, though. Kinda depressed about it. Long and short of it: Sparky was the dog I'd had for about 15 years.

No chronicles of the Watched/Stalked/Hunted today. No art either, probably. We'll see.

Hi again! Hm, at this rate I'm going to be banned from the computer at home.
Good thing I'm not at home, huh?
So anyways, here at the school library to do research- find a research article to review for Psych class, that is.
I've already been trying online for the past few days, no luck so far.

I hope I can find something, here, otherwise what am I supposed to write that article review on?
