It's been more than a day since MechaCon V has come to an end and without a doubt it has been the funnest MechaCon yet for me. I met so many wonderful and awesome people, which was a great pleasure. In fact, my sister and I were blessed enough to have a table next to an incredibly sweet person, ~Pikagirl18. Seriously, she was a complete doll~ <3 It was awesome to see ~GodSaidShutUp again though her table was so far away from mine. ;_;

But yeh, ~Dark-Jagan and I are definitely going to try to get a table at MechaCon next year since our table turned out to be more successful than we anticipated! Plus I think I'll be a lot more prepared now that I know what to expect and work on for next year.

Thank you so much to everyone who purchased a print or commission at my table! I really appreciated the business and it was great practice for me as well!

Now allow me to give a little shout out to all the people who were kind enough to stop by my table and write down their DA usernames on Table 6's shout out sheet!



Thanks again everyone! I hope to see everyone again next year at MechaCon 6! It's meeting great people that really makes a local convention like MechaCon so much more special to me.

-Busy spring semester continues to be busy.
-I'm currently having spring break, which is awesome.
-The weather is as unpredictable as ever.
-My PS2 has gotten dusty due to the lack of playing, but I plan to change that today.
-On the other hand, my PSP and I have done some bonding.
-I saw the Watchmen movie, it was good.
-I saw the Dragonball movie, it was hilariously bad.
-There is a wire banana sculpture in the corner of my room.
-I plan to apply for a job at the university this summer.
-Don't tell my sister, but I already bought her birthday present.
-Accidentally poured two glasses of limeade, under the impression my sister wanted some.
-It is extremely sour.
-There is nothing good on TV in the morning...
-That's pretty much everything that is going on in my life recently.

I'm trying my best to get some personal artwork done, hopefully I'll post something new soon.

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday, mine was pretty sweet. My spring semester starts next week and I'm somewhat looking forward to Drawing II, not so much Design II. I'm going to try getting as much artwork done before I start losing my free time and energy to project deadlines and late nights. I have a feeling that the fact that I just discovered the beauty of the snooze button on my alarm is going to end up hurting me with my compulsive urges to be freakishly early to all my classes. Ahahahaha.

I do believe it's time I update my journal because whatever was written in my last entry is old news. Let's see...

I started college last week and I'm slowly getting the hang of the college student thing. I would like to believe that I managed to adapt to it well since I get asked if I'm an upperclassman or not.

But anyway, I'm going to have to drop the bomb and say not to expect any new artwork from me in a long time. Which is pretty much expected since I tend to only update my DA journal to say whether or not I'll be inactive for a while or not.

There's really nothing else for me to say except I'm rather addicted to Team Fortress 2 right now. If you ever see a Pyro, with the username Yoko, charging towards you like a suicidal idiot, then it's probably me. My friends keep telling me I'm doing rather well for someone who's been playing a short amount of time but I still need a lot of practice. Which reminds me, yesterday I finally got ten achievements that unlocked the flare gun~ IT WAS SO MAGICAL. I look forward to unlocking the backburner in time.

I'm going to be turning awesome eighteen at the end of the month! Pretty exciting because I've always seen a person's 18th birthday as a big stepping stone in a young adult's life. But thinking about it like that at the same time makes me feel a little nervous. I feel some kind of nostalgia when I look back on all the experiences that led me this far. It's so exciting and intimidating at the same time, it's so hard to explain without me getting into this whole reflective mood.

Which leads to another thing... Since I'm quickly approaching 18k pageviews, I thought I might make that my next kiriban! A little way to celebrate the number on my DeviantArt account. So yeh, pretty self explanatory there. Don't forget to take a screenshot too!

I also went to see Hellboy II: The Golden Army with ~ravenwarrior and ~Ksrugi today. I loved it~ I was surprised that my friends and I couldn't crack as many jokes as we usually do during these kind of movies. The movie also gets extra points for being friendly to people who never was the first movie like my friends. The characters are what really made the movie so appealing too. I really hope that news of a Hellboy 3 will be on the way because I'm craving more Hellboy now! <3
