My loyal cell phone decided sometime last week, that no, it didn't love me anymore, and went kaput. We took it in to the store where we'd initially got it, and it turns out that somehow the port where its charger gets plugged in was somehow jakd up, and they don't fix problems like that.

So celly is dead, and I'm waiting as patiently as possible until I can get him replaced. In the meantime, I've been going nuts with the music I downloaded. I finally have "Blue" and "Rock Me Amadeus", as well as other, newer, mainstream music. I even burned a CD for which makes me happy. He says he'll probably get all my stuff scanned for me by tomorrow morning, so hopefully by Saturday I should have most of it up. X3 I love you, Yezz.

Oh, and I loves too, though in a totally different way.

Just a few minor updates.

1. I went to and 's wedding. It was sweet and lovely, but kind of surreal in a way. It feels like they've always been married since I've known the two of them, so in a way, it was kind of like a twilight zone moment for me, attending their wedding. But I had fun, and I got to see and for the first time in like...forever! X3 And I got to hang with 's cousins and his older brothers.

2. 's car caught fire tonight. I kid you not. We were on our way back to his house to meet up with his family for supper, when the car made a weird noise and when we parked and got out, the right front tire was flaming. It was one of those "HOLY CRAP" moments that you never think will happen to you and then it does...but we're safe. However, it is possible that that car may never run again. And yes, we did get the fire put out, but it took a couple minutes.

Anyhow, I'll check up sometime later. Have fun, all.

Now that I have your attention...

Yes, I'm back! *simulates a crowd cheering* I've officially ended my hiatus. Mind you, they never seem to last long anyway, but still....

I've finally heard back from Bowling Greene State University, and they've accepted my application and I should be getting more information from them in the mail within the next day or so. Not only that, but because my grades were consistantly good throughout high school, they're offering me this annual-renewable $3,000 scholarship starting this fall if I go there. Mind you, I'm still waiting to hear back from Wright State University, but still, I'm totally excited! X3

Also, I've decided to take up a new hobby (yes I will still be writing and drawing as well, don't get your knickers in a twist,) and I'll post a more detailed journal about that later. But I'll at least let you know that I've decided to take up plushie-making.

Also, (and those of you who know of it may start laughing,) but I've gotten addicted to the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. Favorite character? Grover, hands down. Nothing is more adorable than a crybaby satyr. So Percy has joined "my boys", Harry, Artemis, and Septimus. I'm going to work on a picture of all of them together. I'm going to go into overtime on it, so hopefully it'll turn out amazing.

But yeah, that's pretty much it. I'll have new art up for you soon. Ja ne!

Yeah, I'm going to be taking a hiatus. Preferably a big one.

I'm not in a good mood right now, so I'm not feeling exactly charitable. I don't know how long I'm going to be gone, or when a prospective time is when I'll be back. Again, I'm not in a good mood right now. You could even say I'm rather angry.

Why? What are my reasons? I'm not inclined to share them. Maybe when I come back I will, but for the time being, I'm keeping them to myself.

And before any of you get the idea in your heads that I'm sad or upset with anyone of you, I'm not. It's nothing to do with any of you; you guys are great. It's RL issues I'm dealing with.

I only have one request: Don't go texting or calling my phone, thinking you're going to help me or change my mind. Again, I'm upset, and because of what's going on, I don't feel inclined to talk about it. The only person I'm willing to accept any texts or calls from who isn't already has been informed that I'll talk to them, because the issues they are going through right now are worse than mine.

Sorry to all my watchers if you think I'm going all drama-llama on you, but I need to take some time to sort out my RL problems. I'll be back though, you can rest assured of that, but until then, ja ne.

Yes, that title is quite serious. Last Tuesday, my great-grandma on my Dad's side died. Her funeral was last Saturday. And then, my great-grandfather on my mother's side, the one I posted a journal about a while back, he died on Monday. And I was really really close to my grandfather.
It's weird, though. For some reason, I'm not as sad about that as people think I should be. I came to the rough conclusion that at funerals, we are not crying for the dead loved one as much as we are for ourselves. We are not crying because they are no longer suffering or hurting, we are crying because we are selfish, as is the human's lot in life, and because we don't want them to go. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. It's just human nature. A very small part of me that is still a little five-year old girl feels like this whole matter is unfair, that my grandpa should have lived forever. But when I got the news of his death, I felt relief rather than sadness, like some great weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I had been crying while my grandpa was alive and in pain and missing grandma, (dead these past five years.) But I suppose I came to terms with his death before it ever happened, because all I can feel for grandpa is an overwhelming sense of happiness that he is no longer in pain and that he is in a better place, with grandma once more.

So I'm sorry to everyone who I didn't call or text, and I'm sorry I hadn't gotten on in a while. A lot goes on after a person dies, and two deaths and the subsequent happenings have had me on my toes constantly. I hope you'll forgive me.

Hey, all.

I wanted to let you know I may be off deviantArt and Sheezyart for a few days. My great-grandfather was just admitted to the hospital today, on account of they think he may have some sort of heart failure, though they still have to run tests. Mind you, he's not unconcious right now. He's awake and rather lucid. I'm actually not to surprised to have received a phone call about this; my great-grandpa is ninety years old and his health has been deteriorating severely these past couple months. And he's not been out of his bedclothes for the past week or so, from what else I've heard. I'm not sure that grandpa is going to die either today or tomorrow, but I know that his time is soon. And I want to be there with him to see him off to the other side. Great-grandpa raised me the first four years of my life and the full (almost twenty years of my life) he has consistantly shown me more love than my own mother. No, I'm not exaggerating. If you know enough about my real life, you would know that to be true.

Anyway, i just wanted to let you all know that. I'll be back on and talk to you all later.

All right, first things first. If any one of my watchers received a message from me with a link to some sort of porn site webcam or whatever the hell it was, IT WASN'T ME. Okay? Apparently my account got hacked, and I thank for bringing this distressing situation to my attention. Thankfully I have changed my password, so hopefully I can not get hacked again. If the situation persists, I'm going to contact the dA sys admins.

Now, on a less harrowing note, how was everyone's Valentine's Day? I'm sure most of you have seen my post dump, but that's not all I did. I spent most of my day with and had a ton of fun. We went and saw Bolt (which was utterly cute, by the way,) and ran around town shopping. Ha ha, when we went to the mall, something odd occurred: we were walking along, and coming from the opposite direction was another couple, and the guy was wearing the exact same Sweeney Todd hoodie I was. This is not considered odd: we both probably purchased said hoodie from the selfsame Hot Topic in the mall. What was odd was how he reacted. Upon seeing me, he pointed at me and shouted, "HOODIE BUDDY! YOU'RE AWESOME!" We proceeded to pass him and his girlfriend, and heard behind us him say, "Hold on just one sec, I've got to go hug that person!" More or less he glomped me from behind and said in the most remarkably cheerful voice, "I don't know you!"
0_o It was like I just gave him a 500 dollar gift card to Hot Topic, or something. And for some reason, the whole thing left me giggling for a while afterward. X3 Heh heh, Yezno protested the whole time the guy was rushing to glomp me. It was amusing.

Yeeeaaaahhh, merry belated Christmas and happy new year and whatnot.

My Christmas was okayish. Christmas Eve I came down with a severe strain of the stomach flu, so Christmas day my dad (who also had it, but worse than I did,) and I were both banished to the other end of the living room so no one else would get sick. Thankfully, no one did. I'm just sorry I didn't get to hug my little brothers when they wanted to thank me for their presents. But it's okay. And I did get to spend a lot of time with . ^^ He got me the last volume of the Mark of the Succubus manga, one of the R.A. Salvatore books I was missing, and an FMA calender. *grins* I love him. Sorry I didn't get any Christmas art up. I owe you all something. :/

As for New Year's.....I kind of sleep-walked until midnight, at which point I was at my aunt's house and all the other adults were sipping wine and the kids were having sparkling juice. I was offered the chance to have some of the wine as well, (even though I'm just nineteen,) but I declined. I went for the root beer instead. ^^ After that, I fell asleep until it was time to go home.

Other than that, the main reason I've been absent is because I've been trying to figure out what college I want to go to. I think I've got one picked out, but I'm going to apply to maybe three. I'll give you more details as this develops. For now, I'm out!

Anyhoo, was just wondering how everyone else was doing and the such. Any plans for christmas and the like?

Yoru is hoping to get The Dark Knight and .hack//Sign on DVD. If not, hopefully my ever-awesome uncles might come through with some gift cards, in which case I'll go get it myself.

Yeah, I've recently been on a .hack kick. Elk and Tsukasa are my top two favorite characters. I think I may draw fanart with the two of them in it later on. Anyways, I'll catch you all later. I've been on a reading high, and I cannot set "The Dante Club" down for more than a little bit at a time right now.

In any case, I'm feeling somewhat better and am going to get back to work on both once I feel up to it enough. I'll also finish my two art projects, one being a big drawing of "My Mage Posse," as Keith so aptly has dubbed it, and the other being my Black Mages conglomeration project that I've been working on for a while. I'll also be posting the next page of Kouji's prank on Mitch, as well as the pages of a comic based on a conversation I recently had with on the phone. Speaking of my love, thank you, Yezzy, for cheering me up with your unwavering sweetness when I told you I was sick.

As for the drama going on between certain peoples at this time, (AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE,) I'm not taking sides in this. I'm going to work with the three of you as best I can to help you work it out between yourselves, but if anything, I'm siding with Hunter.

Now, I leave you all as I go back to my music. (I've recently gotten into 80's music, and if anything can cure my sinus infection, it's probably a healthy dose of 80's music and some H.I.M.)

By the way, the following is being posted because a dear friend of mine posted something similar in her own journal. For my friends and watchers who like the Twilight series, sorry if I offend you. But if you insist on not letting me be entitled to my own opinion when it comes to literature and send me hate comments/notes, I will personally hire someone to come to your house and beat some sense into you with a sack full of oranges.

That's right, I went there.

Now as for Twilight....

Okay, so my sophomore year of high school, I read it. And by the last couple of chapters, was so completely confused, I didn't give it a second thought afterward. I read the second book when it came out just for kicks, and HATED IT WITH A FIERY PASSION. The third I read because a freind of mine would not leave me alone until I did, and I hated it just as much as the other two. I refuse to read the fourth one.

Stephenie Meyer cannot write worth shit. (Sorry all you Twilight teeny-boppers, I am entitled to my opinion just as you are yours and ~sweetheartmarine is to hers.) I am sorry, but she cannot. I would rather put myself through reading "Brave New World" and "The Great Gatsby" again. She moves her plot too slow when she needs to pick up the pace because she wastes time on pointless details, she moves too fast when she needs to focus more on the interaction of the characters and the setting, Bella is a Mary-Sue, Edward has all the expression range of a rock, and she ruined the whole vampires vs. werewolves thing for younger generations. Plus I ask you....a mary-sue in a vampires vs. werewolves book? WHERE IS THE F***ING ORIGINALTIY THERE?!

Oh, and now the little fangirls are saying that it's better than Shakespeare's work? Excuse me a moment. *turns head aside, coughing, hacking, and sneezing* Sorry, I think my allergies to stupidity are acting up again. Not sure how anyone could possibly think that such poor writing even comes close to the brilliance and intellect that are Shakespeare's plays. Perhaps the only writing that is on the same level as Meyers is Paolini, and at least HE HAS A FREAKING INTERESTING PLOTLINE AND HIS WRITING STYLE IMPROVING WITH THE SECOND BOOK!!!

And I will never forgive Miss Meyer for turning my thirteen year old sister into one of her brainless, drooling adoring fans.

Anyhow, that's all. Rant over.

The other one is going to be a oneshot, of Yoruhoshi and Yezno's marriage. I got the request for that one from and I was delighted that he thought of it, so of course I am more than happy to write it. That one, however, I'm not going to post on here, so I just want to know if anyone is interested in reading it. I'll have to send it to you.

Anywhoo, I more or less wanted to post an update about how I am doing. I managed to get through the first week of baby-sitting alright. My little cousin is a rather agreeable little tyke. The only drama we've had is when his allowed time is up for being allowed to play on the PS2. He's not been too bad about it, but one day he started to pitch a major fit, and it was really hard to tell him no. Still, somehow I managed. He's really easy to distract from that sort of thing. He loves to have me read with him, and he loves to build with the legos and lincoln logs and stuff. He loves to play board games too, and for a kid his age, he's a really good sport about them.

Today I forced my 15 (16?) year old cousin to help me clean up her room. I'm staying in there with her, and I've been a bit of a neat freak since I was about eight. So I organized her bookshelf and cleaned up her closet. She got all, "You're violating my closet! Why do we have to clean my closet? I thought we were just cleaning my room!" But I think she mostly did it to be melodramatic, because after I showed her how much more room she had in her closet when it was organized, she suddenly became more interested in helping. She also found a corkboard and hung it on her wall, and asked if I could write up a list of things for her to do to keep her room clean. I have never done this before, but it was fun. I sort of made a parody of the 10 Commandments and it's now tacked up on the corkboard. She has whined that it's a lot to do, but I don't think that changing her bedsheets once a month and throwing trash in the proper wastebins is asking too much. My rules about the bookshelf? Oh, all right. I went overboard with that one. But hey, now she won't accidentally mix up library books with her own and rack up huge fines.

And apparently I was talking in my sleep last night. I woke up this morning, half-off the bed, with my nose touching my cell phone, which was on the floor. When I told my aunt and my cousin, she asked if I figured out what the text message was about last night. "Text? What text message?" I said. "YOU DON'T REMEMBER?!" D8 She says I woke her up in the middle of the night and I was screaming, and then I sat up on my knees and was prodding her to wake her up and was babbling on about a text message. 0.o I wonder if I was having a dream that made me do that. I certainly don't remember that happening.

Oh, and had another weird thing happen to me tonight. I went to church with them at my aunt's request. Toward the end of the sermon, some middle school age-looking blonde girl in a row adjacent from us whips around in her seat and starts waving at me with a huge smile going, "Hey, Autumn!" I thought she mistook me for someone else, so I weakly kind of smiled, then waved back to be polite. My cousin said that she was probably waving to someone in the row behind us, but after the sermon was finished, she bounced right over and sat in the seat next to me, calling me "Autumn" and asking me how i was doing and what I was up to and what passage in the Bible I was highlighting. I was so embarrassed and flustered, that when she left two minutes later with her family, I still hadn't had the courage to tell her, "I'm sorry, but my name isn't Autumn, and I don't know you. I don't live here in Kansas." If I see her next Saturday night at church, I'll have to tell her that and apologize for not having told her tonight. But I'll stop now, as my journal is long enough already. Talk to you guys later!

Yep, tomorrow. *sighs* I'm nervous as heck, I'll admit. But that's not going to stop me from going. I'm at 's house currently. The 8th was our three-year anniversary. X3 We went out on a date and ate at Panera Bread. We almost hit a movie after that, but nothing was playing that we felt like seeing, so instead we ended up back at his house, playing Wii Sports and watching the Star Ocean anime. Good times, good times. Right now he's playing DDR while I post this. So I'm going to be getting back to him. And I'm sorry that I haven't been on as often these past couple weeks. I've been busy. A certain someone *coughYezzycough* was getting a little too frisky *glares in his general direction* and I accidentally hit send before I was ready to type this all out.
But I'm not leaving dA. I am temporarily leaving Ohio. My uncle recently took a job here in Columbus and he is moving in and getting settled, but his wife, my aunt, has to stay back with their old house in Kansas and try to get it sold. But her youngest isn't in school yet, and she called and asked if I would be willing to come and stay with them for a while as a live-in babysitter. I'm practically leapt at the idea, and I've said yes, and am excited to be going. I'm more than happy to help out family. Not to mention I'll be able to occasionally come back home for visits, and that will help me keep my job. The only shindigs is that I'll be gone anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months. I don't mind a whole lot, I just am going to be busy, so I may not update for a while after I leave (which will be on the weekend of the tenth of October.)
I do have a bunch of stuff I want to get scanned though, before I leave. *casts hopeful eyes in 's direction* Rio, I love you. Will you please let me commandeer your scanner sometime in the next few weeks? Not to mention, you and Alyssa and I all have to get together soon too. Well, I work in the morning on Friday, but I have Saturday off, if you would like to get together.

NO, SERIOUSLY.

I've been in Batmanic mode since two months before The Dark Knight was released in theaters. So I recently broke out my first season box set DVDs of Batman: The Animated Series. However, having watched the whole thing, I felt like I needed more Batman. So I bought the fourth season of The Batman on DVD. After finishing it, I wanted to go back to BtAS. But one of my favorite episodes of it, The Night of the Ninja, is not in the season one box set. So, I dusted off the old VCR and found my Uncle Mark's old VHS tape that he'd recorded several Batman episodes on. I went ahead and watched the one that came before it, Christmas with the Joker, just because, and then watched Night of the Ninja. And holy crap!

When my friend had initially helped to give me my Japanese name, I picked Yoruhoshi because saying Yoru came naturally to me and it sounded vaguely familiar. Well, now I know why.

I had the tv automatically set to Closed Captioning (I've gotten so used to having it on, I cannot watch a movie without the captioning) and midway through the episode, Bruce is having flashbacks to when he trained in Japan and got beaten by another student, who then promptly had the crap kicked out of him by their sensei for insulting Bruce after beating him. Bruce goes to take out his anger through training and his sensei walks in on him, saying "You practice as a man obsessed." And then 16-year-old Bruce launches into the whole "oh woe is me, I lost, so I'm not good enough." And he addresses his teacher as

Yoru-sensei.

1)If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
Quite a few, depending upon how she appears. Her rakshasa appearance would probably earn her the news headlines, but seeing as even I have not shown the world that one of her forms yet, that’s unlikely to happen. Normally, she looks like soft goth and is very quiet, and therefore may go unnoticed. If she is dressed up in her black mage garb though, that’d definitely earn even more stares.

2)Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Dunno, is the position of princess/black mage normal? *checks with Jayson* Meh, normal if you’re in the royal family line.

3)What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
The piercing dark green eyes, perhaps and the long, raven-black hair.

4)Would you consider your OC as attractive?
Yes. Yes I would.

Personality

1)Temper?
She is sometimes a loose cannon depending upon all the factors of the situation, and other times, she’s so calm about things outwardly, it borders on the point of being too laid-back.

2)Does your character ever get depressed?
Oh, yeah she does. She’s a girl, irregardless of race, and that automatically means depression will occur. Throw in the fact she’s a Libra (like myself,) and it adds that she’ll get depressed at random.

3)Leader or Follower?
A leader, though she doesn’t often show it.

4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
She’s got a hair trigger and a short fuse, but loves those close to her with a ferocity that can make a demon lord cringe. And while she’s not obsessed with political power, like her insane mother, she’s obsessed with her magic and constantly wants to surpass her limits as a mage.

History

1)Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Yes, though it is complicated. Her father, Jayson, is the Demon King. Her older brother Kouji was a rakshasa when he was alive, but now he is a full vampire, without any trace of his demon heritage. Her younger brother Kyte is a half vampire, half demon. Her mother, Kasumi, is alive, but having gone insane, is trying to kill Yoruhoshi in order to stop her from ascending the throne. (Kasumi likes to hide away in God-knows-where, all the time. 0o )

2)Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
Not all the time. She doesn’t live on her own, but she often travels alone, to get away from the hectic life of the court.

3)Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Several, but she informs me she doesn’t feel like talking about them.

When she met Yezno.

Now onto my epiphany that I had.Well, sort of. *ahem*

A certain someone has brought it to my attention that I'm not doing things for me lately. And apparently this shows in my art that I have been posting. I've been too worried, this person says with "pleasing my fans instead of myself." At first I thought this was silly, then I realized, the fact of the matter is....I haven't done art for just myself in quite a while. So that is what I'm going to do. The kind of feeling I get when I have the impression something not-so-good is going to happen.

It's like dread, only it's hollow. Ha ha, I guess I'm empty. I wish dA would fix the Mood selection already, so I can post that. Doesn't help matters that I have no access to a scanner to update art and that I feel dead tired, even when I wake up from 8 hours of sleep.

1.Jarlaxle: He’s a dark elf mercenary and simply just flipping awesome. Everything he wears/carries with him has some sort of magical property. And I mean EVERYTHING. Jarlaxle’s not as much of a fighter as a diplomatic figure with an air of mystery to him. He owns a mercenary band, but even as he works to help achieve the ends that the band (Bragen Daerthe) needs, he also always has his own plans and ulterior motives to everything he does. Perhaps the only person who ends up becoming really close to Jarlaxle is the assassin, Artemis Entreri.
2.Lirael: When it comes down to it, she’s a bit of a spoiled little princess, but Lirael is a mage, the daughter of Gromph Baenre, and Jarlaxle’s neice. She’s extremely humorous and curious, as dark elves go, and while she’s usually easy to figure out, she has an air of mystery to her, much like Jarlaxle.
3.Raistlin Majere: The evil mage of the Dragonlance books by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I cannot really explain what my fascination is with Raistlin, because that would be giving away too much plot, plus it’s complicated. My recommendation is that if you want to better understand why I like his character, you have to read The Soulforge.
4.Jack Skellington: Well, this is a bit lengthy. Nightmare was released on home video back when I was like, five. I went to a friend’s birthday party and his mother rented Nightmare from Blockbuster, and all the kids were going to watch it after the cake, games, and presents. My mother thought it would be too scary for me, so she insisted that I would not stay for the movie, that she would come and pick me up. However, she was late in doing so (which hasn’t changed throughout the years,) so I ended up actually seeing the introductory song to the movie, This Is Halloween. And before I left, I saw the end of the song, where Jack rises out of the fountain and I thought that was the coolest thing ever. After that, skeletons never really scared me as a kid. And when I actually got to see the movie (eleven years after that) I found I really like Jack’s gentlemanly, yet eccentric character and his childlike fascination with things he does not understand that well.
5.Barbossa: Best pirate captain ever. Bottom line. I mean, he comes back from the dead TWICE, and he is capable of ordering around a ship while marrying two people, which he accomplishes while swordfighting with one hand and firing off a gun with the other.
6.Hiei: Of all the anime characters I ever once fangirled over, I still think Hiei’s got the saddest back story. Plus, just all in all, he’s pretty flipping sweet. I cannot even begin to explain his awesomeness, because his awesomeness is so awesome I cannot possibly do it justice. Not to mention his sarcastic personality and sadistic humor never fail to amuse me even now.
7.Ascot: The BEST character in Magic Knight Rayearth! I still fangirl over Ascot. He’s just sooooooo cyyyuuuuuute when he’s a kid and freaking gorgeous when he’s grown up. Not to mention all that auburn red hair that hangs in his eyes, adding to his innocence, or the fact that he’s simply too cute for words when Umi makes him blush. *shrieks and hugs my Ascot plushie* Plus, when he was in 8th grade, looked just like little Ascot, which is how I developed a crush on him in the first place. X3
8.The Joker: The Dark Knight was just released in theaters today and the Joker is played by Heath Ledger. Plus he’s a happy psychopath. Need I say more?

They tricked me into going on a picnic/hike with them out in Yellow Springs (not that I'm complaining.) It was fun.

came along for the ride and I had a great time visiting with him again. Heh heh, my best friend was complaining because she says that Takai-kun starts acting too goofy and too much like a girl when he's around me. *shrug* I guess he can't help it, what with him declaring his love for me about every 5 minutes. -_-; I suppose I should be flattered: he feels this way about me regardless of the fact that I used to get so mad at him all the time when he went to school with us (he moved to Texas.) And during the hike, he was rather the gentleman; 8 out of every 10 times there was a lot of mud on the trail, he carried me across it. Mind you though, he flung me over his shoulders. I suppose it's easier for him to carry me, since he's been bodybuilding and the such, and I'm extremely small, but still....*claps hand over face in embarrassment* Oh, the indignity of it all....

The dance itself was boring as hell, but I had fun seeing the people there and the teachers I knew and dancing/hanging out with -kun. Especially after we left prom. Yezzy-kun, Kit-chan, Dirrge-kun and I all went to go to Steak and Shake, but it was sooo packed we ended up having a midnight snack at TGIFridays instead.

As for the dancing...yes, Yezz and I slow danced.

Once.

He didn't dance with me after that....TT.TT I still love you, but I wish you'd just dance with me once in a while..........

Don't forget, I'm also graduating the 31st and my contest for Kouji's girlfriend ends June the 1st...Just have three and a half days of school left!! X3 I just wish I could get rid of this pain in my mouth...

And then I'm graduating on the 31st of this month.

0.0 >.< Wow........I never thought I'd ever come to this point in my life. Nor am I too excited about it. I know, I probably should be, but most seniors would just like to get it done and over with. I do also, but I almost fear it and for one reason:

My great-grandfather has been around in my life perhaps the longest. The first four years of my life in fact, he and my mother's parents raised me practically, while my mother was in school, up until my dad adopted me. And Grandpapa is getting very old. His wife, Grandmama, died back about 5 days before my 14th birthday. And Grandpapa has said many a time he refuses to die so he can see me graduated. I'm upset, because I think he might die afterwards, and I realize that it's coming close to his time to go, and at least in heaven he'll get to be with Grandmama again. But somewhere, buried deep inside me is that scared little girl who just doesn't want her grandpa to go.

Oh great, I'm crying now. Hard enough I can barely see the screen. *sniffles* And I'm tearing up every time now that I hear the songs "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" or "I'll Be Loving You, Love Me".

Is it selfish that I don't want my grandpa to go? *breaks down*

A contest to make a girlfriend for Kouji.

Oh, come on, don't act like you weren't expecting that.

Simply putting things, my big brother needs a girlfriend. And the prize for the winner is that I'm going to make a comic of Kouji meeting this lovely female.

Here are the contest rules:

1. Minimum nudity.
2. Please send me a link to the finished artwork.
3. Character must be developed. I would like a full profile for this girl so I can know how to portray her.
4. She must have one defining characteristic that would make most normal people shun her. This can be anything from mismatched eyes to a huge scar to a fatal disease that is slowly killing her. Let your imagination run wild.
5. This girl can be any race, I just ask you make her humanoid in form.

Deadline is June 1st.

Everyone else has been working and doing what they can to help, I've been getting all the comics done, and poor has been doing far more for the webcomic than we've ever asked him to do for us. However, I finally got fed up with being constantly asked to do more and more for it and never seeing this bear fruit, so I threw all the Complex Apartment-related stuff I had on me at Kyte and told him until he and Katchi are ready to get off their asses and PULL THEIR WEIGHT, sorry, I'm not doing anything. I'm the comic's artist, not their personal slave "art-munky".

Also, there is a writer on FictionPress called LCCorp2. And he goes around flaming pieces of work and tearing into people's stories and he gets all nit-picky about tiny little details. If you have seen him or you are on FictionPress and have received a comment from him, do yourself a favor: IGNORE THE JACKHOLE. Mind you, he does occasionally slip in good pieces of advice for your writing to make it better. Take his advice, but ignore his ranting instead of going "Oh the mean man gave me a nasty comment, I'm not going to write anymore." I don't like him either. In fact, I hope he gets thrown in one of the nine circles of Dante's hell. But his stick up his ass that comes out in his comment and his ego (yes, he does think he's better than everyone else,) you can ignore. That's no reason for you to stop writing.

Whew. Sorry. I had to get all that out....and as previously stated, I'm sorry about all the long journals and lack of art. I'm busy with my writing right now. I'll get to posting more art soon, I promise!!
