WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU LOT GONE!? I'VE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU!

And now the other stuff.

Okay, I haven't posted a new journal entry in ages and the last post is just down right depressing. So let's start a new entry!

The past post, 'Clean Out' was during a very rare time when I looked back on my work and felt depressed. I thought 'what the Hell was I doing?!' and ended up clearing out alot of my work. I went from 105 pictures to 85! (sob) Then I went missing for while on deviantArt. Spent most of my time watching M*A*S*H episodes and animated movies, I think that may of lasted two days, then I caught a bad cold and after that I cheered back up again.

Because so what if I don't have thousands of previews. That's what I was getting depressed about, because I was drawing the same characters over and over again I didn't feel like a real artist on this site. I mean come on! Have you seen the stuff on this site, it's f***ing amazing! But after thinking about it, I realised that my work counted as art too, because I work hours on those character designs! I put alot into my work and I am proud of some of the stuff I post here. Sure, it's not the best but who cares?

Anyway, I'm in uni so I don't post as much work anymore. Plus Photoshop decided that it's hates me and screwed up something I'm still trying to fix, but in my uni there's someone who's a master on Photoshop so I'll ask him about it.

Another thing is I redesigned Inanna (one of my own characters) I sketched her a few times with different hair styles and clothes, plus I changed her personalty a few hundred times and I'm happy with what I ended up with. Rowan's still looks the same. Made her a year older so she's 24 now and I've been working on a plot for the two characters. Hopefully after some more animating classes and ideas, I'll finally be able to start the story.

I can't wait!

I'm going to animate it into a different episodes and it's a big job because I've only made quick 5 seconds animations so far. But nevertheless I'm looking forward to it.

Alright, I have been spending alot of time working on my own story with my own characters etc. I'm mostly still in the planning stages but I'm having real fun with it.

I guess what I'm asking is that anyone who writes their own stories or fanfiction could take alot at this passage and give me some critical advice, and could maybe answer these questions.

What did you think of the passage?
Could there be anything improved?
Would this be the sort of story you would read?
What did you think of the two characters?
Is there anything you would write differently?
Do you think the story should be in third person or stick to first?

A huge thank you to anyone who reviews this, it means so much to me!
Well, here's the passage...

-----

Ok, I'm making this promise to not only myself but also Eric who I know will appreciate this very much.
...
I will never ...
Ever ...
Ever listen to Oscar ever again.
Why? Some of you may ask? Well for a number of reasons really.
The first being that he is a lazy no good excuse for a cat who spends most of his time sleeping on my bed, and then leaves orange cat hairs all over it, the result being that I have to be the one cleaning it up.
The second reason is that he's a very sly cat, but I have no idea how, maybe it's the fact that he's been alive for over two hundred years and he's picked up a few things. Or maybe it's because he was sly when he was in human form, and his grandmother told him the secret to getting his way all the God damn time.
The third reason, and this is probably the main reason, is that he is... a cat, and when it comes to cats, I can never win. Whether it's because their cute, or their claws can leave a nasty rip in the skin, or for whatever the reason, I can and will never win.
So why is this running through my mind?
Mainly because I'm walking deeper into a dark and wet forest, the same cat sitting on my right shoulder, while he himself leads the way towards a small fishing village, which just so happens to sell his favorite kind of fish to eat.
I decide to run the list of reasons over again.
“Make a left turn when you reach that log.” Oscar's voice echoed though the forest, and I found myself impressed by the way his voice had become so much more annoying simply because of the echo.
“Which log would that be?” I asked, despite the fact that I could see it, but if it made Oscar even a little bit angry, then mission accomplished.
He sighed and I wasn't at all happy with his reaction, “can't you see it? It is right in front of you.”
“Yeah, yeah” I muttered, “I see it.” I did what he commanded and made the turn when I shortly reached the destination, my eyes quickly gazed over the log and swiftly looked back up again. Frog-spawn isn't the most pleasant of sights.
“Now make keep heading forward, we should there in ten minutes.”
“Ten minutes?!” I half shouted, “my God Oscar, why couldn't we just waited for Eric to take us on the cottage? Surely it would be better?”
“Eric doesn't like coming here.” Oscar simply answered, but I wasn't at all happy with him just saying that.
“Then maybe we can just find another fishing village, we've been to dozens before.”
Oscar just shook his head while at the same time tried not fall off my shoulder, “No, it's the only place where I find this type of fish, and I haven't eaten it in almost sixty years.”
“Sixty?” I didn't at all sound interested. “Wow, sometimes I wonder if you would have an orange beard if you turned human again.”
He took as much enthusiasm in answering as I had asking. “Oh and here I wonder why you haven't gone into entertainment yet.”
I rolled my eyes, deciding to be the bigger person mentally instead of just physically, so that I could get some peace and quiet for a few minutes and think to myself.
I could see that the forest was getting lighter, which meant we were getting nearer to the fishing village, that ten minutes had of gone faster then I had expected.
But it was such a shame that I will never be able to wear these boots ever again, not with all the mud now on them, oh well, guess I'll have to throw them in the bin when we get back to the cottage. Not that I want to in the first place since they were my favorite things to wear, if I knew Oscar would lead me through a forest then I would of put on my old trainers.
Still, there was no point complaining about it, we were heading nearer to this village Oscar was talking about.
“Make one last right turn when you reach the tree in front of you and we'll be there.” Oscar commanded and I...

In truth, I have no idea why I am doing this.

People of DeviantArt. I sure when you search the lovable bear which is called Winnie the Pooh, Disney is the first link to the animal. And while that may be fine for some, to me it's not! Believe it or not, a man called A.A Milne was the man that created Winnie the Pooh. But I'm getting scared that people may not remember that, and just link the bear with Disney. (As much I love Disney, there are some things I have to disagree with.) And because I haven't ranted on this in like forever, please bear (no pun intended!) with me. (If you have your own views than you are more than welcome to tell me.) So where to begin? Oh! I know...

Alan Alexander Milne was born on the 18th of January (YAY same day as me! But a hundred and nine years before me.) He became a solider in the first world war as a signaling officer despite the fact he was a pacifist. Soon after he left the war years later he started writing plays. In 1923 his first children's poem 'Vespers' was published in Vanity Fair which included a mention of his son called Christopher Robin!!!
Winnie the Pooh's very first mention was a poem about a Teddy Bear who "however hard he tries grows tubby without exercise". Soon after, in 1925, Winnie the Pooh was officially created. The first story was about Milne's son having adventures with his teddy bear (we all know who that is, don't we?) Many more stories followed and they became very popular. 'The House at Pooh Corner' was the last storied that was written.
n 1952, Milne underwent an operation of the brain, which left him an invalid. He survived the operation and returned to his home at Cotchford Farm in Sussex, where he spent the rest of his life reading and in country pursuits. After a long illness, he died on 31st January, 1956.

I am not trying to say that we should get rid of Disney's version (I know some people who like it.) But what I am saying is that we should not forget A.A Milne and his Winnie the pooh. His writing is wonderful and if any of you have the time then please read his writing. It's beautiful.

See ya! :3

I have been inspired! ... By my own username! ...

I am not insane.

Let me explain.

It was after making my user ID that I wanted to make the Doctor Who plushies. And even if drawing out each of the doctors took about three hours. I say three hours well spent!!!

So now after thinking about it, I decided that I wanted to do more of the plushies!

I'm doing all my favorite shows like Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist, and well as others I just like. Such as Kids Next Door etc.

I am still working on my story, Illusen. And while chapter 5 has been hard to write, I will get it finish, even if it kills me. The other chapters are here if anyone wants to read them.

The intro - [link]

Chapter one - [link]

Chapter two - [link]

Chapter three - [link]

Chapter four - [link]

P.S. I am writing this during a class, so I have my eye out looking for the teacher. He thinks we are all doing animation work, and I guess I am. Just it's not related to the work he wants us to.

YAY! NEW CHAPTER!

I had this writer's block for like goodness know how long. Chapter four has been there in NeoOffice for a very long time. There has been times when I would sit in my bedroom staring at my Mac, trying to think of what to write. And there were times when I thought I should just quit. But I made my promise to myself that I would keep writing, and not quit.

I would like to thank Danilee3240 for helping me out of this writers block. She wrote this cool and awesome story for her FMA3, I think that is the name of the story. I hope that is right. Anyway, after reading her story I felt like writing myself. So I was able to finish the chapter.

But still I feel disappointed in myself, I feel like it was a crappy chapter. Plus the whole writing from the character's view is hard.

That's why I decided to write the next chapter and onwards in a third person's view. I was always able to that easy. I also think the story will be easy to read for others. So that all from me, here are all the chapter and the new one.

Enjoy.

The intro - [link]

Chapter one - [link]

Chapter two - [link]

Chapter three - [link]

NEW CHAPTER Chapter four - [link]

I mean, there is a plot and I know what going to happen to Maya and Namoi, but it's writing down to that part that I am stuck on. I would rip out my hair but I have only just wast it.

Hopefully I will get out of this writer's block and finally fininsh the chapter. So to anyone that reads the story, I am sorry for such the long wait.

On another topic.

I have discovered that Pretear and Death Note are two of the best things I have seen. (Apart from Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach.) The Pretear characters are so funny and I love that one of them has the same name as that cute little dog in FMA. Some may know what I am talking about. And Death Note? I have only read the manga, (not finished reading yet.) But I already love it, Light is so cool and I also love how evil he is. I fear for him at the end of the manga.

This reminds me of a quote.
There are three rules for writing a novel.
Right, if you go to my profile page, if probably beacuse you are reading this. (Silly me!) You will know that I have a character called Illusen.
I have been trying my very best to post pictures of her on this site and since I have no money for my own, the dream of having my very own scanner will not come true until probably many years from now. And I do have a story plot and everything, so big turn down!

However...

Just because I do not have a scanner, doesn't mean that I can't write it. (See where I'm going?) So starting from now, I am going to write down on my ever so faithful laptop each chapter of Illusen's story. I am so eager to open up Neo office and start hitting the keys! It's exciting! (Well to me it is.) I don't why I didn't think of it before, stupid me!
Anyway, when I have done a few chapters I am going to post it either on here or in fiction press. (Where I will a link for people to read it.) I don't know why I am going to give a summary, seems like I'm just boasting and being annoying to everyone who reads this. But I am going to tell what I am proud of.

So...

Maya Stone had the odd dream now and them like everyone else. But her dreams are about someone who looks her called Illusen, who says she must go travel South West to find someone called Vincent, and the unleash the powers of the Earth. So why Maya choose to listen to her dreams was beyond anyone, but she may just prove them wrong.

Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep. - Carl Sandburg.
Now a random quote on failure...

Now a random quote on humans...

Humans are great! They will do anything just because they can! - Doctor Who.
Education...

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. - Nelson Mandela.
Marriage...
Travel...
Whenever I prepare for a journey I prepare as though for death. Should I never return, all is in order. - Katherine Marfield.

Friendship...

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You, too? Thought I was the only one." - C.S. Lewis.

Anyone want to know why I have put up these random quotes about different subjects? There is no real reason, but a few years ago I read a random quote that made the outcome of my life different to what I thought it would be. Now I am happy, living to reach my dream goal and having good friends by my side. Three years ago, I would never of thought that would happen.
Maybe a random quote will change your life? You'll never know.

Yes it's the 1st of Jan, which means it's New Year.
I don't like going out in pitch blackness to watch fireworks so I just sat in my living room with the family and watch them on the telly. All the stuff has ended so here i am on my laptop, writing this down.
And what am I hoping for this year?...Well, I want to put up some more art work for deviantART, and maybe get a job.
Happy New year to my friends on deviantART, and everyone else. Hope it's a good one.

Me and my older sister go to see a lot of movies at the pictures. Just something that we as sisters do. We went to see one of them and I thought I would explain it to others that would want to see it.

Fred Clause -
Of course it's a Christmas movie, so that itself may be a reason to go see it. But every time I go see a Father Christmas movie, I can't help but think to Raymond Briggs's verson. Where Father Christmas lives in a house in England, and just wants to have a peaceful year. I loved that, it very funny. Look it up, I'm sure you would like it too.

So my rating... two out of five.
