Going through a rough time...seperation from my boyfriend...he visited for 2 weeks and its difficult having him back to being so far away...you go from having the love of your life by your side 24/7...to hardly even talking to them on the phone...all the while having to cope with that and developing tonsillitis for the second time this year and preparing for a tonsillectomy at the age of 19. Alright, so I'm really low on money right now. As some of you might know I went completely broke around november/december. I have slowly built up on it. But I have a rent of 500 dollars....and that's cut into my wallet a lot. I will be moving into a new apartment in may with a rent of 450 (saving 50 bucks) which will be helpful, but I'm still low on cash. I have been greatly considering getting a second job during the summer, but due to being sick and missing classes because of it I'm going to most likely take summer courses. So, I won't have any time for a second job.

The point behind this journal is to ask for suggestions on how I could make some extra money. I've tried paid surveys, and I volunteered to model for the schools art class, never got an email reply for that. No, I mean does anyone have a suggestion on extra money related to my gallery. Maybe commissions? Maybe prints?

Okay so I haven't had a lot of time for my photos, I know, the competition photos were done last minute as it is, but I'm attempting to get things back on track. New semester started on the 14th of January, and I think things are going decent, given that I've been sick with a cold (having given me a severe cough that kept me up several nights), getting over strep that I contracted mid-december (first took penicillan, then was given z-pack in january because the infection was still there, then the infection left my throat and embedded itself in my lymph node and my body stopped fighting it cuz it didn't know the bacteria was still there!), then 2 weeks of intestinal problems caused by the third antibiotic i've been given, i wont go into details on that one. Those things have caused me to miss school so i've been needing extra time for catching up AND i just started a new job monday (Daycare! Yay! the kids lurf me) Anyway, I'm planning on getting pictures of the kids. whether they'll be artistic enough to post them here or not i dont know. we'll see.

A lot of you have messaged me, asking why I hadn't been online or posted much recently. Well, truth is, because I've been distracted by some obstacles that have recently arose. To start things bluntly, I'm broke. My mom had sent me a text saying my money was low and to stop spending. Had I known how bad it really was, I would have stopped completely....including buying groceries. Well, now I have only 35 dollars to my name in my bank account, only after my dad transferred 300 into it. The money in my account was supposed to last through my college spring semester. If it's not hard enough dealing with living 3 hours from home, living with two room mates who you can't stand most of the time, and taking courses like chemistry and biology, then it's hard to deal with your mom's 'you brought this on yourself' look or your dad's disappointment. The main reason I don't have a job is because my mom was supposed to be setting up an appointment with a Doctor in San Antonio to get me tested for allergies. It's difficult to find a job when you're seeing a different doctor all the time, or if you have to go to a job interview and tell them you need an unknown day off. Oh yeah, it's my fault I don't have a job. It doesn't at all have to do with the fact that my mom has yet to set that appointment up for me. Nor do my money problems have to do with gas, groceries, winter clothes, or taking my car to get fixed. Of course not. Only my constant spending money on myself is the culprit. So, that's been one big pain in the ass.

On a side note, I won't have new pictures taken until after the weekend before December 11th, as I realized I left my camera back home. I do, however, have some on my computer that I have yet to submit, which I will do, between studying for my finals.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this.

New News
So we're moving out of my house this friday and saturday. I've lived in this house since I was two. Almost 17 years now. And soon after that, around the 13th or 14th of August I will be moving again to College Station, Texas. 2 1/2 to 3 hours from home. It's going to be a big change. Going to my freshman year at a large university. Starting my life anew. It is quite nerve-racking!

My subscription is almost up, it'll be up on the 31st (Tuesday). If anyone wants to buy me one, that's great! But let me know so no more than one person is buying me one at a time. I don't need that! Lol. But thanks anyways.

Yay! I got a new camera! With the camera, carrying case, and 2 GB memory stick I spent $315.70. That's almost all of my graduation money. It's definitely an upgrade from my hand-me-down Nikon, with the broken battery door, second time running.

For those of you who don't know, we've had a major freeze over here in Texas. It has not been over 35 degrees in 2 or 3 days. At least not here in San Antonio. So I got plenty of pictures of the ice. Of course, as my luck always goes, the snow just missed us. So I still have yet to see snow. Ain't that peachy? Anyways. The reason I hadn't posted much in the past few weeks is because the batteries died on my camera, and those lithiums are expensive as hell. Anyway, my dad got new batteries from the office and gave me two. I'm sure I've used a quarter of the battery's life on these ice pictures. They had better be worth it! lol Tschau!
