So I haven't written anything in awhile and wanted to make use of the skins while I get them. Life is going... Things have been stressful with lots of additional papers this semester and CJAS stuff being far more stressful than it should be. Might be due to people deciding to try to irk me at every turn but whatever. I'm working on a new Cosplay, Nakiami from Xam'd Lost Memories at the moment and am 2 missions away from unlocking Sora in KH 358/2 Days or as likes to call it KH Ridiculous Fraction. I have also been involved in a a LARP on campus and that is starting to get rather interesting. And for an end to random rambles, today is 8 months with my bf whom I love very much.

I hope to have some new pictures up soon as I have been taking lots and want to share.

So in less than 8 hours the new first-years and transfers begin arriving on campus. This past week has been filled with prep for helping the RA's get ready for the arrival of these individuals and now the time is almost here. I can't believe I'm about to start my Junior year of college and that I have as amazing a boyfriend as I do. After my horrible summer it feels great to be surrounded by friends again, though I wish I could be seeing more of Adam too...

...I do wish though that I actually had more art or something to put up and share but I haven't been feeling all that inspired lately. Oh well. *shrugs*

So... I feel horrible... it hurts to swallow and at least my fever is going away... or seems to be. For the past week I have had an excruciatingly bad sore throat, swollen glands and torture to swallow, I went to the the doctor's on Wednesday and had to have blood drawn. I... hate... needles... So verdict is mono. Which means no work and I'm a lazy bum.... also is likely I somehow got it while at Anime Boston as that's about the right incubation period but I've no notion of how as boyfriend doesn't think he's ever had mono and he's the only one I was sharing things with... even more good news, when I'm feeling better no kissing for a min of 2 months and a max of 18.... fml

So it is hard to believe but tomorrow I hit my second decade... o_0

Having a bunch of friends over to celebrate and such. It should be lots of fun.

I really don't know what else to write for the moment other than I am very excited to just be chilling with people for a while!

*yawns* I'm home from Anime Boston 2009 and had a great time while there other than navigating Boston... and not getting to see the Anime Dating Game or having a good spot for watching Masquerade.

I took lots of pictures.... some of which will be finding their way up here soon... I'm starting my summer job today so it might be a little bit.

*squee!* As Adam and I are dating that is a very good thing... I am very shy about the "love" comments right now and wait for the right moment of my own to say it... because when I do say "I love you" I really do mean it.

2. Were you named after anyone? First was sort of after Cecil Kimber the inventor of the MG car. Middle after great grandmother on Dad's side.

3. Do you wish on stars? Sometimes I do... It really depends how I'm feeling towards the universe at that time period.

4. When did you last cry? Actually I haven't really cried in about two months now *yay for life looking up*

5. Do you like your handwriting? At the moment I tolerate my handwriting... there are some days when it looks better than others... and if I'm falling asleep in class it's going to look horrible no matter what I do to it.

6. What is your favorite lunch meat? I guess Ham, but it gets stuck in my braces rather easily *sadness*

7. What is your most embarrassing CD? Ummm.... I have a copy of "Backstreet Boys for the fans" that is pretty embarrassing... I was not the person who purchased it though and it was bought used... I haven't listened to it in years either.

-- Ysterath started out as part of a name I found within a book and later became one of the names of the dragons that I RPed with. The name just kind of became one of my primary usernames and I use it in all sorts of things now. First things first... New college is going well but I miss all the awesome people from my old school still. Getting really involved in our awesome anime/manga craziness here. Some awesome people who I will shortly name have started a Meiji-era(ish) Manga with characters who are just plain awesome. So right now I am in the middle of packing for college and Pre-Orientation, which in and of itself is a huge task. Unfortunately that's not all I have to do right now. I also have to finish writing a paper, take a Spanish placement test, do a shitload of laundry, and clean my room. But what do I find myself doing? Getting inspired to do something else entirely. I now want to make a kick-ass plushie version of Aro from Twilight... and is partially to blame for this. The following is my craptastic sketch for designing the plushie considering that is about all I have time to do at the moment.

Birthday Update:
So, I realized I never wrote anything for my actual b-day so rather than bump this I thought I'd put it here.

My 19th b-day was decent except for the fact that I really didn't get to see any of my friends on it. I did, however, get to got to a parade with one of my friends.

B-day gifts included "The Host", "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "Dragonsblood", Three pairs of Tobi socks, a Cornell T-shirt, a 1.20.09 button, a set of rechargeable batteries, a place setting of Fiesta Ware and $20 Nx Cash.

So that was my b-day in a nutshell... okay but not great....

Well I start working again tomorrow... if my e-mail decides to work at accessing the form I have to fill out. Again Thursday is my birthday and then I'll be in Canada from the 20th-22nd. So I figure it's close enough to my Birthday to make a Journal entry about it. On the 19th of June I will be having my 19th birthday. I just wanted to say something in case anyone actually cared to know when it was.

Hmmm... I guess I can actually say some other stuff while I'm here. Well at the moment I'm finishing filling out forms for next year of college and life is kind of bleh at the moment. I have to go fill out forms so I can go work somewhere again and my summer plans no longer exist. I really wanna see some of my friends and such but I'm not sure if any of them really wanna see me at the moment or are able to considering I have no real transport at the moment.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to go help judge a car show so that's that.

On a more positive note, I'm almost up to 500 page views Considering I wasn't really active until recently that's good news in my book. I only wish I had as much drawing talent as my friends.
