Okay, so the problem is somewhat resolved.

One of my friends is a great artist, so I asked her to help out with the cover, etc. And she had new ideas based on what she's asked students and that's what I believe is best too.

Afterschool I walk into the room and she's arguing with the Exec. that likes to steal my ideas. (I call her the Hitler of yearbook because she's such a dictator over everything.)

So I walk over and try to calm things down, but the Dictator Exec. just interrupts me and I'm like, "Oh, nuh-uh! Okay, you know what?" and I go speak my mind. :'D

HOHO. Long story short, she doesn't admit defeat. But we still win.

My friend told me how she went to talk about her ideas and right away the dictator was like, "No," and got all snarky. =A= Stupid dictator.

ANYWAY. Yeah. That dictator exec. is the type of girl that likes to pretend that she's frail and fragile and that if you have a fight, she's like, "Oh, oh, my, oh me," but I don't buy that. =A= She's a real manipulator and real good with her words. I hate those types of girls.

I usually ignore the problem, but that day, I felt like I had to say something, so I said a lot. :'D But in the politest way possible.

Next day, she ignored me. But I'm sure she's upset that I was able to indirectly point out her dark side to everyone.
No one hated me too, they all came to talk to me after as well and we joked and such with my friend that was in the argument with the dictator earlier.

PSSH. She was like, "WE decided that the cover would have just white and..."
Me: "We? Okay. YOU put me in charge of the cover and I heard nothing of this, nor had I heard any discussion, I think it's more YOU. PLUS, it's not like I'm being paid for this. I could quit right now, and you wouldn't have a cover, okay?".
HURRHURR.
And my friend went on to tell her, "This yearbook is for the students, and trust me, I talked to a lot of students and they wanted [insert the idea]".
I also added, "Plus, the cover isn't something for JUST YOU, and something YOU find easy, it's for the STUDENTS, that's why we're here. To make sure that everyone likes it, NOT just you".

A lot of other shit was said.

I also said, "Everyone that saw me sketch the cover you commanded me to do, told me it was shitty. They actually said shitty".

Then after, things finally stopped and we worked on covers, but just as one of the cover people was going to help me, her and her English project group were like, "No, he's working with us". <--- Okay, her sidekick said that. The dictator's got her sidekick wrapped around her finger so badly that her sidekick was like, "Okay, I'm going to be a bitch because I'm sure [dictator] is too nice, so NO, he HAS to work with us!!!". <--- PFFT. And you pressured me so badly about the cover, but no, you gotta work on English more now? Selfish.

After, the dictator got pissed because the person working on cover with me did something that hse didn't like in their English project or something, and her sidekick got everyone to gang up on him. :/
Poor guy.

They didn't leave the room, so my friend and I were working on the computers beside them, and I just yelled, "I'M ON YOUR SIDE, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL THEY'RE YELLING ABOUT". The guys in the group laughed with me. >_> Because I diffused tension, but the dictator and sidekick just glared at me.

Then the dictator had to leave early and the group had a prob with their project so I suggested they change a line, and the sidekick was like, "We can't, [dictator] isnt' here," and in my head, I was like, PFFT. Such a dictator. She was ranting about how "All of you" wanted the project a certain way, yeah right.

After the yearbook spat, I was being mildly obnoxious with anything involving the dictator, so I looked at the group and was like, "You know you've all just because [dictator's] little bitches, right? *smile smile* Oh, I'm just kidding~". No one was offended except the sidekick. >3> The sidekick was moody for the rest of the meeting.

The rest of the people in the group came to talk and joke to me after the English thing, so they had no hard feelings. >3>_{They probably knew that the dictator was pushing the envelope since I've never really shown anger at school like that. If anything, I'm usually facetious.}

We had another yearbook meeting today and the Exec.'s decided to have a re-vote on the theme because of complaints, and I was totally cool with that because doing my theme wasn't worth dealing with all the complaints against it.

So why am I doing an update?

Because, I'm not going to lie, it was pretty embarrassing how they decided to announce that. =_=;; (Well, embarrassing for me, since it was originally my idea...)

BUT DON'T GET ME WRONG, I DIDN'T MIND THE RE-VOTE.

The Exec.'s decided to do a long talk about how it was too artistic, etc., which I was fine with, then they were like, "Okay, everybody okay with changing?," and people either nodded yes or didn't do anything because they didn't care.
But then they had to be all, "Okay, we need everyone to vote, because we see some head nods and some people not really doing anything, so... And, Galina, I know it's your theme, are you okay with it?,"

Me: "Yeah, I told you guys to have a re-vote at the last meeting anyway."

"Oh, but are you really okay with it? Like,..."

"Yeah, I already told you last week to just change it because I didn't want my theme to upset anyone. And that choosing another theme would just be better and easier on everyone."

Then after a bit more, and me finally stating, \"Ialreadytoldyoutochangeitlastweek,Iwantitchangedtoo,don'tworryaboutit,\" they finally stopped talking about it. :'D

Although we didn't really have a re-vote. :/ We are just doing the theme the Exec.'s chose (they got the idea from another school's '08-'09 yearbook).

Meh. I'm glad we changed the theme so no one whines about my theme anymore. But I wish they didn't make a big deal about it and act like I was all offended and pissed off about them changing it, since, oh, I don't know,... IWASTHEONETHATTOLDTHEMTOCHANGETHEGODDAMN THEME?!

Yeah. Change the theme. I don't care. I actually suggested that. Just stop talking about it like you feel bad about changing it and acting like I'm going to rage at you (because I'm not, unless you piss me off for other reasons). >B|

Ahaha... :'D It's more embarrassing to be me than to read about it.

So, I just came back from the first yearbook meeting of the year today.

This year is my first year in the yearbook club, and I decided to join it because I wanted to have a part in my school's yearbook in my graduating year.

Well, I got more than I bargained for.

We brainstormed themes today and had votes.
I had some suggested some themes.
My were slightly more on the creative side, but the themes were, at least I believe they were, able to work with how structured, strict, and solid design of the yearbook. And I didn't choose something only I, or my friends would like, I decided to choose some fun themes that would be more exciting than the cookie cutter themes of past yearbooks (although, I do like the past yearbooks, not saying there was anything wrong with them).

So we had a vote, and then a re-vote and in both votes, one of my themes won.
Since it won twice, it was the chosen theme.
I was kind of shocked, because the other themes fit better with the controlled, fixed deal the Exec.'s of the yearbook club liked, but I guess the regular members liked mine more.

I was really happy.
Unfortunately, some Exec.'s and members that were friends of the Exec.'s did not like my theme and thought that it wasn't flexible enough for a yearbook and didn't relate to the school (there have been past themes that have not related to the yearbook before though).

I got a bit of pressure from some people, and I'm not going to lie, I felt ~~pretty shitty~~ really shitty.
I said that since they're Exec.'s, they have more experience in the yearbook, so if they want to change to a different theme, then they can it to a different theme.
But then one of the other Exec.'s said it was okay, and that it was already voted that my theme be the theme by the majority.

Anyways, we had a group cosplay with , and I.

Although I had less than a week to make my Haine cosplay.

Then, Maimai, Hells Bells and I spent a very long time in the really small and hot washroom trying to get ourselves ready as best as possible. 8'D Ahaha... it's hard to put on makeup if you are in a hot place that makes you want to sweat.

AND OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! After we got out, we saw a lot of friends! *A*

We took some photo's, although at the beginning, we were just being silly! XD

Anyways, this journal entry is to announce that I will be going on a cosplay hiatus._{_{I'm sorry if this sounds like some kind of sob story, but it's really not, it's just my true feelings that I want you to know as to why I am on hiatus.}}

I'm typing this right after I left a photoshoot today, and it is my last shoot/meetup until my hiatus is over._{As a cosplayer and a photographer.}

I would also like to apologize to those that were expecting me to attend the Hetalia shoot on the 29th since I am no longer going.
And also an apology to those who were hoping to cosplay with me for certain series and for those who wanted shots of certain series in the future.

My hiatus is mainly due to many personal reasons, but also due to the fact that I would like to focus on my education, especially this year.

I love cosplaying, but recently I have been enjoying it less and less. I have lost who I was, and it feels like I'm not cosplaying for myself or for fun anymore. When I first started cosplaying, my cosplays weren't the best, but I put all my effort into them and was proud and happy. Now, I still put in all my effort, but I feel like I am not good enough. I know I say that it's the effort put in and the fun you have that is most important, and it's true, but I just don't apply that fact to myself anymore. I find just sitting and talking with friends more fun. Cosplay has currently lost most of it's point and reason for me.

But don't take this the wrong way, cosplay is not a bad thing. In fact, cosplay has totally brought up my confidence, improved my social skills (I used to be extremely shy around strangers) and helped me learn new things. I'm hoping this hiatus will also let me enjoy cosplay to it's full potential (when the hiatus is over) like in the past.

I will still be active on deviantART, but my uploads will consist mainly of my drawings, and possibly some photo's from old photoshoots that I have yet to edit.

I will still keep in contact with all the wonderful friends I have made through the anime/ cosplay community and I will still meet with them, but I will not be attending anymore related events for awhile.

Even during winter and spring break, my hiatus will still be in effect._{Halloween is probably the only time during my hiatus I will do any cosplay. (Unless I have spare time and camwhore in cosplay at home, but that is highly unlikely during my hiatus.)}

I hope to have this hiatus over by the beginning of the summer of 2010.

I will be typing up a journal entry on today's shoot later!

Usually, I'd go and read it right away like mad, but instead I frantically contacted ~hurtfulLIES because we've both read the series up to the available chapters.

Then we both starting screaming over chapter seven on msn.

But, ah, gawd.

Seriously, Sakura Gari just keeps getting better.

Jesus, chapter seven was awesome. Finally, Souma starts to learn to be a real human and really know what his feelings for Tagami are.

And also, Tagami knowing his and Souma's feelings, yet costantly denying them.

Plus, chapter seven, with Tagami and his little brother were so cute! QAQ Such a good little brother! Making all those paper Sakura!

AUGH.

My God. The series pulls at my heart strings.

Seriously, Yuu Watase has outdone herself! This manga has the perfect balance of tragedy, mystery, romance!
Yes, it's BL, but the story's so good, the BL is like extra.
It's not solely fanservice like the usual yaoi manga. It has an actual plot and it explores the life of homosexual men in the Taishou era.

Also, it being different from the common yaoi manga, there is only one pairing. Not like one uke, plus ten semes. It's an actual love story. Just with two guys._{Yeah, I'm trying to convince you guys to read it, because, it's seriously good.}

Sakura Gari shouldn't be thought of as a manga for the yaoi fangirls, but more like an alternative story that deals with a more serious topic that the general public is not used to._{Think of the movie, Milk, for example, it's not like it's "gay porn", it's a movie based on the life of a real man, Harvey Milk.}

Anyways, that's pretty much it.
If you have the time, I highly recommend that you read Sakura Gari by Yuu Watase.

I'm finally done my extra courses~~~

Haha, finished yesterday and went to a meetup today!

Meetup was a monthly one I haven't been to in about a year, so it was nice to see all my friends I haven't seen since then!

I don't usually go to meetups anymore, mostly just photoshoots, but convinced me~~~ XP Fufu~

But the main host for this meetup wasn't there today. She was greatly missed! D: The meetup wasn't the same without you. QAQ

Regarding who went~
First, the family:
Only a few of the cosfam was able to attend. O3O
Just _{Hells Bells}, our two other members_{(No dA accounts.)} and myself. O3O

Our family, Russian and Glo were Ichigo Kurosaki and Lolita/kimono, while Hells and I were just crossing in punk/aristocrat style.

Our dear friends:
_Mari was a very cool Gokudera, casual ver.~~~
_Lenabi didn't cosplay and got lost on the way to the meet and we only got to see her for about 5 minutes. QAQ I miss you!

It was also very wonderful to see & after about a year!

was in her very cute Fai from Tsubasa cosplay!

Our other friends were there as well, but they were not in cosplay, nor do they have dA accounts (that I know of yet!).

OH AND WE GOT TO DO PURIKURA~~~

Haha, we had to walk through the mall in our get ups, but it was a good~ >BD
We got our picture taken by someone too~ He mention our local con, AE, so he probably wasn't weirded out by us!
And some mall-goers recognized our friend as Ichigo, but our Ichigo friend was not a man and hid behind our Kimono Lolita! XD
As we were heading for PuriKura we passed the CD store and as we were, two girls were leaving the store and saw us and spoke aloud, "Oh look! Cosplayers!". They had big grins on their faces, so I smiled and waved back. They waved back with happy smiles! Makes me happy when our wigs and clothes can bring a smile to someone's faces~~~

We took two sets of cosplays, because Russia and Glo had to leave early~ O3O

Will resume after summer school is over.

And I'll be okay, I chose to take these two course (since my school schedule is full of other courses already).

Doing pretty good so far!

Also, I am very sorry if I haven't replied yet! D: I've replied to comments, because there's less of them than replies. It's just I've been really busy. I'm taking two courses, so I'm out from about 7:30am to 4:30pm. And once I get home, pretty much all of my evening is spent sitting on the couch and studying/doing homework. _{Literally, my only free time is for a shower, dinner or bathroom breaks. Plus, I'm kind of gaining weight from the lack of exercise. Must wake up early and go for a run tomorrow.}

Anyway, recently I've been getting bitten by bugs, mosquitoes.

And they bite me in the weirdest places! D:

I have one bite on the sides of each of my elbows!

And last night, I was exhausted from staying up late studying for my Chem test, and then staying up yesterday to catch up on FB messages, and so I was sleeping in bed really well 'til I felt things on my face! D:

And then the left side of my face was itchy, so I scratched a bit, 'til I realized it was a bug bite and would swell, so I stopped. Then I turned around the other way and things still kept going at me! D:

I thought maybe some dust got on my face so I got up several times to wash it.

God, I was exhausted.

BUT THOSE DARN BUGGERS WOULDN'T LEAVE ME ALONE.

So I couldn't go sleep in my bed. Too exhausted and gave up.

Woke up the next morning with half of my left eyelid swollen, so it wont open all the way.
Not that bad though, it's not noticeable to others unless I point it out, and it's gone down since I don't touch.

Have one bite on the left side of my face near my cheek bone and two on the right, one on the side of my cheek and one near the area in front of my earlobe.

Well, anyway, bug bites are a minor problem.

I've had my fair share of creepers, but right now, my friend has one. Or more like has one for awhile.
Must help them.
But our group of friends is ready. >8D

Just wanted to let you know that I started summer school yesterday._{No, it's not because I need to redo a class, I just don't have enough room during school to take all the courses I wish to.}

I am taking two courses, so I am extra busy.
Classes started yesterday and I already have a test the day after tomorrow! So you can see how busy I am!

I don't think I will be able to get online as much.
I have to put my education first, so the internet must wait!

I am hoping to get online on the weekends to do a decent job of replying to comments and notes! >_<;;

During the weekday, I probably won't be online as much. (I'm taking time out of my study time to type this up!) But
hopefully I will be able to get online a bit and reply to a comment or two!

Summer school is actually pretty okay, especially since I have to balance two 3 1/2 hours classes! (One in the morning, one in the afternoon, we get a one hour lunch break in between and one short break in the middle of each class.)

So, this is who went and what we went as!

So the day started off with picking up Deathly, Melodious and Kakiri at the mall! Then we had a bunch of silliness on the ride there! XD

Once we got there, it was quite chill compared to the last meet up. But that's because most people were arriving a little later~

Then we settled on some benches with the other cosplayers.
Deathly found some con friends and went to talk with them, Kakiri was bombarded by photographers for some photo's, Melodious met up with some more Organization XIII cosplayers, and I sat on the bench waiting for Hells to arrive! XD
_{Oh ho, I sound like such a loser, but it was really hot and hard to breathe with my binding. Plus, no one would recognize me unless I had Enma Ai beside me! XD}

So I chilled for an hour or two, in between we worked on Melodious' Roxas spikes, tried to cool Kakiri off in her cosplay, watch the Org. XIII troop eat popsicles from the convenient ice cream truck provocatively._{They had Spiderman, Powerpuff Girls and long, colourful ones that were suited for "deep throating".}
I saw some kinky stuff from those pleather-lovers. 8B

Anyways, Deathly, let me hold on to her cell in case Hells called because she was busy catching up with a friend who cosplayed a very pretty Euphemia from Code Geass.

Moving on~ So then I get a call and Hells is on her way, but the bus dropped her off a bit far, so she has to walk. In heels. The big photoshoot meetup was today!

It was extremely fun!

Have you seen the news?

I assure you, that if you turn on your T.V. or radio, you'll see the news about Michael Jackson!

He's in the UCLA hospital.

The L.A. Times says he's died, but CNN is trying to get confirmation, and have not confirmed any of this yet.

From what I've heard, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital and ended up in a coma. What's next has yet to be confirmed.

This is just really sad.

Michael Jackson is just someone who you you never believe could die.
He's such a legend,... he's just immortal.

Not to mention he was going to have his world concert coming up too!

Wow, I got home today and heard on the Radio, and now I'm fixated on the news on T.V.

This is so horrible, seriously. I hope the L.A. Times is wrong.

Okay, wasn't going to type this up, but I have the time.
Plus, I haven't been able to change the mood on my journal from "Grouchy" to anything else, and since the mood fits right now, why not? _{Hmm,... I'm more annoyed than grouchy, but close enough.}

OKAY, START!

Yeah, so I got invited to a cosplay photoshoot coming up, and most of the team is going as well.

It's an open, public shoot, and we're encouraged to invite as many people as possible, so I invited a school mate since she's always wanted to cosplay and go to cons, but never go the chance.
I thought the photoshoot would be a nice little experience for her and so we'd be talking about it online.

Later she talks about inviting a friend from another school and such, and I'm like, "Cool! Then you don't have to bus alone! ".
Eventually the conversation goes on to how her friend is not sure if they are going and I get this:

"I dunno I hope she does because she and I have been wanting to go to a cosplay for a REALLY long time , but I told her that I heard it from you , and you`re in grade 11 right ??? Well , I told her that and she`s like WOW OLD and I`m like SHE DOESN`T LOOK LIKE IT , SHE`S LIKE SHORT and then she`s like EWWW SHORT and I was like COME ON JUST COME"

Yeah, I basically gave the calmest reply I could saying that I'm really starting to dislike her friend since they're being rude by judging me without knowing me or knowing what I look like. Also that I will not be talking to her friend at the shoot. (I'd rather avoid conflict.)

I got a reply after:

"Yeah she is really rude but I know she`s just joking Sorry if you took that offensively ............. But no she`s really fun "

So I gave the friend of my schoolmate the benefit of the doubt and pretended I didn't read the previous message. I also asked my schoolmate to try and stop her friend from making jokes like that at the shoot as well.

I don't know how old her friend is, of course younger, but yeah. I asked, but I haven't gotten a message back yet. >_>;;

Oh yeah. I'm old. Real old.
PFFT. Yeah right.
Most full fledged cosplayers at generally around their 20's, since that's when they've gathered up enough experience. (Not saying that if you're younger, you can't. I've seen a lot of good young cosplayers, even 12-year-olds that are very pro! )

AND MY AGE (let alone 20) IS SO NOT OLD. ):<

Obviously the mentality of the friend is one of a very rude one.

URGH. Reminds me of those people that judge cosplayers if they're too "fat" or too "white" or "not Asian enough". >B|

June was late, so Hells and I just walked around.

And then we passed these two girls and I hear Hells gasp, and I asked her what was wrong.
She asked if I heard what those girls said, and I didn't, so she told me that they looked at us and were like, "Shoujo... Ai...?".

Like. I thought maybe they were talking about a manga or something, but Hells assured me they were talking about us. Because they were staring and asking in a questioning tone.

Really. :/ I usually wouldn't be offended.

I'm done my exams!

I studied so hard. QAQ

6 days straight of studying. 3 days straight in my house.

ANYWAYS~~~!

I finally got to replying to my notes, responding to comments and replies and thanking for favs and +watches!

Yeah, I know I'd promise I'd type up a long-ass journal entry after I got back from exams,... buuuuuuuuuuuut, you guys are going to have to wait for a bit! XP

I'm going to be using my spare time to just chill and draw~ 8D

And a few days ago, Hells Bells_~IamCharon told me about this cosplay photoshoot meetup coming up!

Pretty much most of the team is going!

I'll post up pictures after the shoot, so stay alert!

Who I'll be cosplaying will be a secret! Hells and I will be doing the same series~!

_{Finding out 10 days before the upcoming shoot and not having a cosplay prepared, I quickly brainstormed so many possible cosplays! XD One was UK from Hetalia, the other was Ikuto from Shugo Chara! Plus another one that'll be a future cosplay.}

So,... I've decided to type this journal entry up to inform you all that I will not be able to attend AE'09. Announcing this because a lot of friends and fellow cosplayers have been asking me, and so instead of having to tell everyone individually, I decided to just announce it here.

For those of you wondering, it's just a conflict with the date that I will not be able to attend.

But I am hoping to go to AE'10, as long as the date will not be as early.

THE LONG AWAITED ALICE IN WONDERLAND SHOOT... ...isn't done yet! XD

Oh, but we had a test shoot today! (Not everyone could make it, due to school, work, etc.)

The shoot went awesome! Way better than we expected! :3

It rained halfway through the shoot, and stopped when we were finishing up!

There were a lot of bunnies at the location we were shooting at! Damn! We got distracted! XD

And, right!
It was basically myself_{Euphoric Landings}, ~ShadowAnjel_{Deadly Rose}, ~IamCharon_{Hells Bells}, ~KH-LoverGirl_{Melodious Nocturne} and our awesomesauce photographer, Sir Russia_{No dA,... that we know of yet!}! >8D

Things went pretty smoothly, we met up, got ready, took photo's, taught our photographer the meaning of "yaoi", chased squirrels, dove into plants, had a bunny obsession chase and went to eat! 8D

Ahaha, I've been laughing way too much!

First of all, before I go on, I'm going to say that I like the Twilight books, they were a good read, but I found the movie... meh... it was just fun to laugh at._{Although, I thought the baseball scene was actually cool. O3O}
(And I'm not some Twilight-crap debater, because I have friends that are huge RobPat fangirls and friends that despise Twilight, kthxbye.)

Okay, so this morning ~YunaAngel86 and some of our friends were freaking out today because they found out that part of New Moon is currently being filmed at this place called Fantasy Gardens really close to our school.

Now, ~anamyfreak and I are talking about how they'll probably get tazered if they try getting pass the fences! XD
And we were like, "What would they be filming at Fantasy Gardens?".
"When Edward tries to kill himself!"
Then we laughed because that'd means Fantasy Gardens would be "Italy". XD

Fantasy Gardens [link] is an awesome, beautiful structure, unfortunately, it's been closed down for awhile... (if it was open, it'd be awesome for cosplay pictures... TT3TT ). We wonder how they're going to make it look like Italy~ ~anamyfreak says it looks more like Germany~

Okay, yeah, sounds lame, but we found it pretty funny since we live so close to Fantasy Gardens, I guess, eh?

Really. Seriously.

I wasn't going to rant about this, but today wasn't a helpful day either, so I might as well. I'm not as hurt because I was able to talk to my dear mother about it._{(Thanks, Mom! )} But I still feel the need to let it out a bit. >_>;;

So yesterday, we had a substitute teacher for one of my classes. We basically had a short quiz and free time for the rest of class. We sit in desks grouped into fours, so it was me and three of my friends/ classmates. We basically talked for as much of class that we could, but then we ran out of topics to talk about and got bored. (Plus one of the guys started eating, so there was less to talk about.)

Then I decided to draw. I usually just doodle if I draw in school, (minus during Art classes) but today I wanted to draw this idea I had that I thought up from the night before (which I will upload and link to in this journal when I'm done).

What I was drawing was one page, 8.5x11 and would play out with panels like a comic. The main idea behind it was the feeling of being a pushover and to finally stand up to bullies and stop bullying. Positive message? I THINK YES.

So, I start it off with the panels at the top of a female student being bullied, right? And at the bottom of the page I would have her sprout wings with shining light and the words "I won't be a pushover anymore.". The wings represent her standing up to them and the light will be so bright, the girls bullying her will back away.

UNFORTUNATELY as I was drawing the top panels, the sub walked by and saw me drawing and was like, "Viooooooleeeeeeent..." in a mocking tone and walked away. It sucked, because I found that kind of rude since "violence" was not the point of this, but I let it slide because I was drawing the first panels, so yeah, whatever.
But because of that, I used my pencil case to cover those panels and started drawing the ending panels (that would lead to the positive ending of the girl stopping the bullies), but then the sub walks by again and looks over my shoulder and "wants to see". I say, "Uhm, no. You don't really like my drawings, so I don't really want you to look at it..."

Then she reaches over and pushes away my pencil case and tries to start talking about it, but then I cover the top with my free arm and continue to draw the bottom (and more positive) panels and say, "No, this is private".

Then she just grabs the paper from under my arms! D: And then she stares at is and is like, "Oh my God! What?", and I understand that can be kind of shocking, so I explain, "Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking, but first of all, I've seen art like this where they've drawn someone being bullied and they have really nice flow throughout the panels, so I wanted to mimic that, and I'm not drawing violence, this is supposed to be art that stands up to bullying, because at the end the girl getting bullied will have a thought bubble saying, "I won't be a pushover anymore" and she'll stand up to them. This drawing is supposed to convey a message that no matter how many people bully you, and how badly, if you stand up for yourself, you can stop bullying."

And she was silent throughout my explanation while staring at my drawing, so I thought she was listening... but... I guess not? Because the next thing she said was, "OMG! Is that girl getting her hair pulled?!". And she held the paper far infront of her with her index and thumb like the paper was covered in goo or something. =_=;;

*facepalm*

Then she gave me back my paper and I covered it up and was just grumbling stuff like, "This is why I didn't want to let you see it and I even explained but you didn't listen. This isn't some doodle that teens do, I actually plan to polish this. It's art and you're really not listening. It's art and you don't understand it. I didn't even finish drawing all the panels yet... etc.".

*sigh*

But, I would have let that all slide, even though she spoke loud enough for all of the class to hear (but I was too embarrassed to look up), but then she had to go and say this:
"You're creepy."

... Thanks? You judge me by a drawing that you don't fully understand the meaning of. =_=;;

Then one of my friends, feeling the tension asked, "Uh... you mean the picture... right? Not ... her?".

But no. She meant me.
Look. If she thought my drawing was creepy, I'm okay with that. Since she didn't listen to my explanation, then yeah. Sure. She can think that. But I think it's totally rude to call me creepy, to my face. She doesn't even know me. She doesn't eve... ]]>

Okay, nothing really important, just me talking. 8D

So today we had the run for Breast Cancer at my school! A lot of people I knew didn't want to run because it was raining (was) and that there was "no point". =m=;; I was just like, "Come on, guys. It's only a run, it's not going to kill you." D: But yeah, no one really cared... =_=;;

MOVING ON. 8D

So yeah, they called us up grade by grade, my grade got called down first and apparently first boy and girl to finish in each grade gets a prize. But I didn't hear about the prize part, I just heard "iTunes blah blah". And people who wanted to race for the prize should line up in the front and it was all guys. XD I wasn't really paying attention, but the teacher was asking for girls to go up so my friends pushed me. D:

Then as the teacher was saying, "Ready,... Set...," before he could say go, all the guys ran off! D: I was like, "DAMN!" and ran too, even though the teacher didn't say "Go" yet. XD I sprinted like mad and was like fourth for like 1 minute! XD Then a couple guys passed me. D: THEY ALL HAVE LONGER LEGS THAN ME, GIVE ME A BREAK._{And I haven't really ran for a long-ish distance in a while. My hobby is to sit and draw. D:}

Anyways, only one girl (tenth grader) passed me. XD I could have tried to pass her, but I was like, "GEH! I'm old (haha, by one year...), she's young, she deserves to get ahead." XD *shot*

My past P.E. teachers still remembered me though! XD I think they were surprised I was somewhat ahead._{Thank you, Mom for waking me up Saturday mornings to run around the track! XD}

In the end, I was the first girl in my grade to finish. 8D (But most of the girls in my grade didn't really run. My Mom says it's probably because they didn't want to sweat or ruin their make-up.)

Then at the end of the day, winners were announced, and I was like, "WEGETPRIZES?!". They gave me a wristband and a small pack of gum when I finished so I thought that was the prize. XD Turns out each winner gets a gift card for 3 free songs from iTunes! 8D Ohoho! YES.
~Valoir was the first girl in her grade to finish too! Congrats~~~!

Ahaha, when this happened, I was really shocked. I was caught off-guard! XD
As I was leaving for home, I guess the doors were locked and there were two students who wanted to get in, but they'd need someone inside to open the door for them. I was leaving through that door, so I opened the door for them.

I got a, "Thanks Man," and didn't think much about it. I was like, "No problem," and then they finished up with, "... or woman... er... or... brother...?" For me, it was like STAB STAB STAB. =A=;;

But,... I'll let it slide considering I was dressed in clothing that would be proper for the run, and I didn't really comb my hair much, used the whole class time in English to finish an essay (so I guess I looked... quirky...?) and spent a little over an hour and a half after school for band practice. 8'D

PLUS, it's the long weekend. So I'm happy.

Oh! And if I can't update my journal in time...

So, I'd just like to declare that I SPENT SIX STRAIGHT HOURS WATCHING THE REST OF THE SERIES.*deflates*

I got Gundam 00 overload. It all came and went to fast~ =A=;;

But, I'm glad that I finished it!~ 8'D

We all went to a local maid cafe and had lunch. We didn't eat much though, we were in a rush to go to the carnival that was being held this week! 8D_{We had to rush because I had to leave to finish an English write-up and other members had to leave early for other reasons~}

And then Melodi_{~KH-LoverGirl} talked to one of the carnival workers on the ride we were about to go on and I think he liked us because our ride (The Octopus) lasted a bit longer and we had more raises and drops! >8D

I screamed like a baby during the raises and drops and cut off the circulation in Rin's arm because the quick movements and pressure made me want to pee! XD

Then Melodi got an extra spin after telling the guy, "You sir, are awesome.". Teehee! It was cute watching her go "WHEE~~~".

Hurr~ Not much to talk about at the moment. AndI have school tomorrow, so I need to go sleep.~~Like I can after seeing Earl Phantomhive's face in chapter 31 and MOE Ciel.~~

I was invited to a photoshoot today and I usually don't go to big meetups/events much but I decided to go this time. I thought it'd be a good way to end spring break and also a good way to get my mind off the recent house stuff.

There was an Alice In Wonderland group there actually! Very wonderful~! *o* And then ~KH-LoverGirl and I were like, "Dang! We should've done our white rabbit and chesire cat cosplay!". (<--- We've pretty much finished our costumes, I just need to adjust the cat-eared headgear a bit.)

Sorry about my last journal entry guys, I wasn't feeling too well. =w=;;
I'm so much better today because I left the house to go to the dry cleaners (mass wet towels that needed to be cleaned and dried!), but I think the fresh air helped me out a lot.
Oh! But I found like five cuts on my hand from yesterday! DX Damn, they hurt!
And I'm vacuuming up water from the carpet and taking breaks to type this. Man, my body hurts from vacuuming. Getting every nook and cranny.

Moving On:

Was at the mall today, just to browse because going home.
And then one of the stores had a t-shirt design contest and my Mom told me to do it. I usually wouldn't but I was like, "What the Hell? Might as well!".

Some of the staff really liked my design! But a girl entering the contest started getting pissed off, and then when her friends came, she left. D: I was like, "OH SHI--!," I didn't want to make anyone mad... But then her friends stayed and entered too~ One of them kept saying that they couldn't draw and I really just wanted to tell them to not worry about it and that it's not how "well" you draw, it's "how" you draw~ I wanted to say, "Just let the inspiration flow~". But I was too scared! D:

My hand was shaking man! I never looked up from my paper, except two times when staff came to talk. I just looked up and smile.
GAH! D: I was so out of place, all the girls were so pretty and had really long hair, tank tops and little purses. And then there was me, t-shirt, beanie, jeans, and a huge Beatles bag. >3<;;

I took about an hour on that design! GAH! I was worrying about if I put too much detail or too little, and if the colours would be okay, etc.

I'm not going to say what the designed look like yet~! But I did change my style a bit to fit the general mainstream style, yet still stand out! *o* Man, they had felts and pencil crayons, but I played it safe and used pencil crayons~ So. Many. Colours.

When I finished I was all wobbly and shaking~
As I left, one of the main staff ladies shouted, "Bye~! I hope you win~". Boosted up my confidence!
Good thing I left when I did, because after, a lot of people started watching! I probably would have passed out from the fear of people watching!

But this is all through the country... so... yeah. >_<;;

GAH! Wish me luck! Winner is announced June 18th, 2009!

After, we tried to make Grell teeth for ~KH-LoverGirl, our hot water wasn't hot enough to soften the plastic! XD Guess we'll have to boil it!

I wasn't going to mention this at first, but I really need to let it out.

So this morning, I woke up at 5:00am because I heard something really loud like someone was taking a shower.
I walk out into the hallway and the carpet is warm... and wet.

Turns out a pipe for the sink in the washroom was messed up, etc.
The washroom is a tiled floor, but the rest of the house is carpeted.

Luckily we stopped the water._{_{It was shooting upwards.}}

A lot more bad shit happened, but I don't really want to go into detail.

So, if you're wondering about the details. I don't really want to tell the world, I just needed to let the basic info about what happened out because I seriously can't hold it in!!! D: Dammit.

Greetings, all!

So, just now I was on crunchyroll looking up some dramas to watch_{_{By the way, A Moment to Remember is really touching!}} and decided to drop by the anime section and saw a forum topic saying something along the lines of "Best Cosplay Ever" and so I checked it out and it turned out it was to actually make fun of "bad" cosplayers. The creator of the thread posted up a picture but for some reason I can't see it, but the comments towards it are pretty harsh. [link]

I'm really just a cosplay novice, but I still have to say that people are really rude to cosplayers. Cosplay is just for fun, it's not going to kill if you see someone who is not exactly like a character. I think that as long as someone puts thought and effort into their cosplay, then it's totally fine. It's not as if they, say a purple polka-dotted shirt because the character has the same shirt and say they were them and didn't put any effort into the rest of the costume. If someone puts passion into it, then no one should make fun of them.

Besides, there are limitations some people might have to suffer. Like money issues. Maybe someone doesn't have money and they're doing their best, or maybe there aren't any fabric stores nearby and the closest is a five hour drive or more away?

But anyway, getting to what I really wanted to say was that these people actually just laugh at cosplayers and don't give any mercy whatsoever. I understand that if you cosplay, you are putting yourself out there so something like this could happen, but you'd expect people to have the decency to not be so cruel. It's okay to not like someone's cosplay, but there's really no need to tear them limb from limb.

Something that really bugs me is when people make fun of cosplayers that are a little larger than the characters they're portraying. Or even when people make fun of someone's physical features! Like someone could have made an awesome costume and put their blood and tears into their outfit, but if something about their own physical appearance is wrong, they're "ugly"?

Not only that but people are forgetting cosplay is "costume play", so it's part costume and part roleplay. So even if someone doesn't have the best costume ever, if they're in character, then that's good!
Not saying you have to be in-character the whole time, but if someone who is cosplaying a serious and quiet character runs around the whole time screaming profanity out loud and lunging themselves at other people and being rude, no matter how good their cosplay is, I probably would rather go and say hi to a cosplayer with an "average" cosplay outfit but stays in character when necessary.

In the forum, users were posting up pictures of what they thought were "good cosplays" and "bad cosplays". Don't get me wrong, their "good cosplays" were very well done, but some didn't realize that, OH I don't know,... SOME WERE PHOTOSHOP'D TO LOOK GOOD? [link] _{_{A user even pointed out that this was 'shopped.}} Well if good cosplay means you have to 'shop someone's face so like have enormously huge eyes and barely-there-noses, then really, no one's a "good cosplayer". Sheesh.
And those "bad cosplays" they showed, I really didn't see anything wrong that would lead me to be "disgusted" like other users were.

I understand that when people cosplay, there are some things they should keep in mind. Like to make sure it's appropriate as in it fits well and no privates accidentally appear with sudden movement or that maybe if you're crossplaying_{_{Girl cross'ing as a guy.}} and you don't bind that you shouldn't jump up and down or else everyone will notice your bouncing chest._{_{I know some people might not know how to bind, but you can find some tips on the internet. Like using tensor bandages is what I do. It's just a bit odd because I've seen some, let's say Near's from Death Note, with chests and I don't mean to, but I do stare sometimes. And not in the way you think I am.}}

Heck, I'm sure those "good cosplayers" have been cosplaying for awhile and thus have a lot of experience under their belt and that those "bad cosplayers" could just be new to cosplay and just trying their best. Everyone has to start out somewhere.

Just wanted to say that it's my birthday tomorrow.

I'm usually not good at announcing this because I don't like the over-attention I get IRL ~~because something usually goes wrong. Thus, I try to not make too much of a fuss on my birthday.~~ But I trust you dA'er's~
